StrangeIronFrost 22:
Pre-relationship. Stephen has to go on a mission in another dimension ; when he comes back, he finds he has a First Lady/Gentleman, whatever, it's Loki, who got bored without people to reign over and decided bossing wizards around would be fun. There've been uniform changes, decoration changes, all of that. Stephen tries to get rid of him, but, yeah, doesn't stick.
And so Stephen turns to Tony for help, because Tony sure owes him after all the times Stephen's played portal-taxi for the kid. Which is how Loki comes to the idea of reigning over Stark Industries.

Note
Tony and Stephen argue about science vs magic. Then Loki walks in, sleepy, eyes half closed, hair in disarray, holding one mug of dark coffee. He takes a sip, then proceeds to demolish both by explaining how they could be either combined or synonyms.
After the third time this happens, these arguments just end with two grown men yelling "LOKI!" like he's their mama
I promise you a huge part of why I love IronStrangeFrost is exactly this. Loki has the understanding to recognize that science and magic can and do coexist - after all, look at Asgard (or don’t, since it doesn’t exist right now, but whatever the point remains!). They bridge a lot of gaps for one another - Loki can bridge the science and magic gap, Stephen can bridge the gap between Tony and Loki on physiology (allowing Loki to understand some of the frailties his humans have), and Tony can help Loki (at least) acclimate to the rules and regulations of life on Earth, which makes Stephen’s life slightly less hectic because there are less fires to put out when Loki thoroughly misunderstands something due to societal and cultural differences. UNREALISTIC, however, is the fact that Loki walks in with ONE mug of dark coffee and doesn’t have Tony stealing that cup from him immediately. Loki is smart enough to know that if he wants to keep his coffee, he better bring two cups.

StrangeIronFrost 17:
Alternative to the previous prompt.
Tony and Stephen used to be together but Tony died. Now Tony and Loki are in the afterlife together and they're getting close. Suddenly Stephen shows up, having found a way to pull Tony back into life, but Tony refuses to go without Loki. Stephen pulls them both back but tensions are high as everyone is in love with everyone else but also jealous of everyone else, until they realise they can just all date everyone and fix their little problem.
Aka, the story equivalent of that picture going around about how to fix a love triangle : make it poly.

StrangeIronFrost 23
Song goes "i know they say that time will heal my wounds but i'm only feeling bitter without you"
So. Two of the boys have a crush/are in love with the third but they're not together and Third is dead. One and Two aren't coping well with it (individually or together) and team up to bring Three back, making a pact that whoever Three chooses to be with, the other one will respect that and not interfere. Then Three comes back and turns out there's no choice to be made, after all.

StrangeIronFrost 19
The whole plot is "what if someone was living in a time loop but didn't know it?" and then I had to make up some more stuff for myself.
So. It'd have to be someone who doesn't have magic, Tony, who's stuck in a time loop but doesn't know it because his mind resets as well. But then someone with magic (Stephen and Loki) would have to notice to save him, so the rest of the world isn't in a loop, maybe, somehow. So they sense the magic in the air and have to track it down and it takes them a while and they find each other and accuse each other before they figure out it's Tony. And then they somehow save him and all live sarcastically ever after.

IronFrost 117: // StrangeIronFrost 21:
I had a stupid idea and I'm trying to build a story around it, so this might be weird.
Post Avengers, Tony somehow finds out that Thanos is the master evil behind the invasion and digs around for clues as to how to defeat him. He asks around but no one tells him anything until he get some alien voicemail, except the aliens in question are kinda far away so it's all...crinkly. As much as a voicemail can be anyway. "The answers you seek....summon....-amora". Or something else ominous but the last word is the whole entire plot. So then he does a summoning ceremony (SIF version, he asks Stephen for help with the magic side of it), like the message said, and calls for Amora. Who shows up and knows jackshit 'cause the message was about Gamora but the connection sucked too much to hear it correctly.
Now, Amora knows jackshit, but she's there and she's magic so she can do cool stuff, and she does know someone who can help, but Tony's gotta bribe her for that. Anyway. So then Amora leads Tony (and Stephen) to Loki, Tony's mad 'cause "but he's evil too!" and Loki's offended because "come on, I get brainwashed one time" (and Stephen is like "woe is me, I killed eighty people and now nobody wants to be nice to me") and then they somehow end up in love.

StrangeIronFrost 24
Song goes "tomorrow's a nightmare i'm dreaming today"
Endgame fix it (in my head anyway, change it up as you want) where Stephen dreams Loki's death, Loki dreams Tony's, Tony dreams Stephen's.
Stephen doesn't like Loki but can see he's on the right side so he can't let him die. Loki's always liked Tony, can't let him die. Tony just doesn't want anyone to die at all ever, otherwise it's obviously his fault and he can't live with that (but he does anyway).
Anyway. Short version, they all reach out, plan plan plan, kick some names, happily ever after.
(also, the dreams are all they know but it gives a pretty good idea of the timeline, based on how many rocks Grape-Face has got and whatnot)

StrangeIronFrost 20:
Okay so this is mostly StrangeFrost (or whatever that's called) but I don't have a metaphorical binder for that so we'll fit it in here. (more like shoving it)
What if the thing that made Kamar Taj's library so special and awesome is because they share it with Asgard. Back in the day, wizards or sorcerers or mages or whatever they used to call themselves were, like, super cool on Asgard. But then the whole "let's club people over the head and drink beer for fun" thing took over and the library kinda went into disuse. Except that now Loki's there and really into magic/seidr stuff and keeps reading all the books he can find about it.
Now what would happen if both Stephen and Loki didn't know they shared a library and started pulling on the same book, each from their own side of the shelf?
(now the bullshit part for my organisational obsession's sake. Tony's pen pals with Loki since he left Midgard after Avengers 1 and Tony was curious about why the hell no one else noticed the obvious mind fuckery at play there. We're moving DS up closer to Avengers 1 for this. Tony is also buddies with Stephen since their fancy rich playboy days. So here he is, listening to his two friends complain to him about "that sorcerer wanna-be who tried to steal a book from the royal library" and "that arrogant pompous jerk who thinks his so-called status would ever make me give up on reading the book I want" and somehow, that turns into a threeway romance)
(sorry this is the length of a fucking novel)

StrangeIronFrost 8:
Stephen and Loki keep shapeshifting into each other and trying to trick Tony into thinking they're the other one. Tony always knows who's who though, no matter what they look and sound like, so the boys up their games and now shift into other people. It happens so often that Tony basically assumes everyone talking to him these days is one of those two because he got tired of trying to observe clues and figure them out. Now how awkward would it be if Tony thought someone else was actually one of his lovers shapeshifting?
(Steve, Nicky, Ross, his Majesty the king of Wakanda?)

StrangeIronFrost :
Short version, Loki is the Ancient One. Long version, Loki is a shapeshifter who spends time on Earth either himself or through illusions, building (or taking over when the actual founders die) Kamar Taj and teaching sorcerers, because he doesn't have any other magical friends. Blablabla, Loki trains Stephen and fakes his death as the Ancient One as canon. Meanwhile, he's pissing off Tony Stark just for the fun of it. At some point, Stephen Tony and Loki are in the same room, Loki is revealed as the Actual Ancient One, they shout, they hate each other, they make up, triad. The end.

StrangeIronFrost 7:
Established relationship, massively whumpy.
The boys are together, and they have a fight (the superhero kind, not the domestic kind) from which one of them doesn't come back (Tony went through a portal, Stephen's stuck in the dark dimension, idk about Loki), doesn't matter which (hell, do three stories with each of em, it'd be awesome).
And so I want the attempts at saving the person, the failures, the despair, the anger, the soft times in between where the two remaining hold each other up and the freezing times where they can barely hold themselves up let alone someone else. I want them trying to figure out life when there's only two of them, should they keep trying, should they give up.
Pretty please with a happy ending. I kinda just see the lost person showing up one day all happy and the others are like "it's been two years!!" and melt into a massive bundle of tears and the dichotomy of two traumatised grief-stricken people and one person to whom it felt like only days.
Anyway. Whump.

StrangeIronFrost 9:
Stephen and Loki are friends, mostly because the two of them enjoy fucking with other people like the children they are. They make a bet : the first to trick Tony Stark into offering them a drink wins.
They shapeshift into his friends, into fans, into pretty ladies, into pretty gentlemen, they fake choking, but nothing works except that as time goes on, they fall in love with him. Then it turns more into a competition for the first one to win his heart. Turns out, it's a draw.
(and then I imagine Peter coming over while they're there and the first thing Tony says to him is "want a drink? milk? juice? soda? whatever you want" and the boys just rage)

StrangeIronFrost 6:
Loki keeps sneaking into the Sanctum to read the books. Wong's mostly at Kamar Taj so he doesn't know, the Sanctum knows he's not a threat so it doesn't react, and Stephen's ...busy, I guess.
Tony comes to visit Stephen for hero-related business, Stephen's not there, Tony somehow befriends Loki? So then Tony also comes to the Sanctum to meet Loki, only once Stephen's there too and they meet all three all at once for the first time.
Stephen's mad that Loki's a "book thief" (he isn't, he's just a control freak and reorganised the library) and that Tony's his "accomplice". Tony's mad his coffee spilled and also Stephen's being very loud. Loki's still reading.
(and then Stephen sits down, Tony gets a new coffee, Loki's still reading, and somehow that turns into a relationship)
