rough doodle of venomstripe 'n her wife, nightingalewing!!!

originally, venomstripe was mates with the big villain, froststalker. it wasn't healthy, though. while she loved him, he only saw her as the mother of his kits or, basically, heirs. he made it seem like he loved her, but... he didn't :(

throughout this ordeal, venomstripe's former rival (when they were apprentices) nightingalewing is worried about venomstripe. she steps in and becomes a shoulder to lean on. while nightingale begins to develop feelings, venomstripe is still hung up on froststalker. however, venomstripe soon realizes that froststalker is nothing but a liar. it hurts her greatly because venomstripe gave up her days as a young warrior to mother his kits since she believed he loved her. nightingalewing comforts her through these hard times like a good "best friend" would do.

eventually, they develop nicknames for each other!! venomstripe is "stripes" while nightingalewing is "night" or "nightingale".

they only officially become mates after froststalker's coup is ended. they're a little awkward together in the aftermath of froststalker, but nightingalewing becomes the "father" of venomstripe's kits.

one day, they end up calling nightingale "momma" and nightingale has a heart attack 'n goes "umhmg venom.. she's ur mom!" and the kits respond with "why cany we have two moms?"

venomstripe and nightingalewing go on a walk that night while the kits are asleep to discuss it, and, there, they officially become mates!!!

Berrypaw was killed by a fox in the mountains on the journey to the valley

Bluekit and Patchkit were too weak to survive and died shortly after birth

Thrushskip was killed by Larchburr in Infernoclan’s attack on Tideclan camp

Flowerscar used to be a loner. as an apprentice she was nearly killed by a Riverclan patrol, giving her the -scar prefix

Stormpaw��was named after the storm he was born in. he was killed by a raccoon

Riverblaze was named after the river next to Tideclan camp. he was given the prefix -blaze in honor of his mentor, Falconblaze
