“Can… Can I have a hug, please?” 

It’s said so quietly that you’re not sure Loki’s even heard you. You should know better by now though, he’s always known what you needed. Hell, he’s always known what you were thinking before you did. He just… was good at reading people. You particularly. You supposed that tended to happen when one spent their many, many lifetimes taking account of things. Planning things. All the things, really. 

But you know he’s heard you when his eyes flit towards yours, a cocky grin spreading across those thin lips. That grin has given you nightmares, daydreams and many, many orgasms. And he always loves it when you ask him for things, dangling your request like a carrot to a rabbit. Not that you minded. His games were dangerous but fun. 

“A hug?” He asks, arching a brow, the word sounding alien on his Aesir tongue. “Really?”

You fight the urge to split into a grin of your own. There he goes, dangling that carrot. Loki moves closer. Careful, calculated steps, hands clasped behind his back. He steps around you, leaning in close to intimidate you. It works… barely. 

“I am Loki, God of Mischief, and you, pathetic mortal, have just asked me for… a hug?” 

You can’t help it now, playful joy radiating from your cheeks. Loki breaks himself, chuckling and wrapping you up in his arms. He holds you tight, burying his face into the back of your neck and breathing in the smell of you. 

“God of Mischief,” you sigh, relaxing back into him. Loki hums. It’s half in agreement and half in acknowledgement. He noses against your hair before turning you around in his arms, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. 

“That I am,” he replied, brushing a thumb over your cheek. 

“That you are.”

Dreamling! And I guess I wrote that one Remainder fic but it's also dreamling LOL.

This makes sense since kudos accumulate over time. I hope Flatter gets a bit more love now that it's finished. :)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do and love to! I try but don't always respond to every "nice" or "kudos", it's easier when readers actually tell me what they liked. ^^

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I suppose Effigy, or Tears, and tortures, and the touch of joy

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Flatter the Mountain Tops is simply glowing with golden happiness in the end. :)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No. I got into a discussion over one of my more controversial drabbles but I wouldn't exactly call it hate.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I try. What does "what kind" mean? I write almost exclusively homoerotic stuff if that's the question.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I usually don't but I wrote this crazy Remainder/Sandman crossover that I'm still ridiculously proud of.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. But I co-wrote my original webcomic's story for a while before going at it alone.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Dreamling. Then Frostiron I guess.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Nope, not doubting myself, that's bad LOL. I truly plan to finish A Friendly Heart one day.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I guess, angst? Huge hints at world-building in tiny bits of story? I've only been writing for a year so I'm not sure.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Porn is hard. Finding words to describe actions in a way that is sexy and not boring or repitive is what every writer struggles with I guess.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I love that! I don't speak many languages but it's a cool thing to do to give a story and character more depth I think!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Frostiron. I remember that I drabbled for that and started writing a fic with amnesiac Loki that I never posted anywhere...

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I think The Storms of Life is my favourite but Flatter the Mountain Tops is now very close.

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?

Oof, I'd have to go through all my fics to give a definite answer probably. At the top of my head it's probably the "humans are jelly" one from my Frostiron drabbles. It's not even something I came up with but something a friend told me (and I think they got it from their teacher? Idk). And also the one about the purpose of belly buttons. The drabbles are a bit silly...

Oh, and there's also the reference to something Emily Blunt said irl to Cillian Murphy in a radio interview (about camomile tea).

15. Silence – for endlesstwanted (Tony/Loki)

Tony hated silence; Howard and Maria used silence to punish him and each other, and from childhood to teen years, that silence kept Tony from eating a meal that he didn’t puke later. For this reason, noise and music were an every second of every day part of his life, no matter who around him demanded quiet.

Until Tony met Loki, and after their whirlwind saga of Would-be Mind-Controlled Conqueror turned By-Default Avenger falling in love with Genius Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist, he discovered that silence was not only his enemy. Loki, too, had been castigated by silence, sometimes lasting decades at a time, to make him submit and conform.

And now, lying together in the bed they shared, they didn’t need music to soothe them. Rain tapped out a pattern on the windows, and where Tony rested his head on Loki’s chest, he listened to the steady promise of his heartbeat and knew silence no longer held them hostage.

Excuse me, but I was clicking around on your blog because of the Marvel stuff, and I was wondering, do you post on a03 under the name Laily? If so, would it be alright if I followed you? I put Hannibal as one of my five interests when I signed up, and I was forced to follow only Hannibal stuff, so now I'm feeling a little lost because that is all tumblr is throwing my way. For some reason, my four other interests don't matter, and I was a little intimidated to put Marvel as one of them, since I only like certain Marvel things and there is so much of it.

Never (Loki/Tony)

It was movie night in avengers tower, which wouldn’t be a problem except that he hadn’t slept in at least 2 days and was running solely on coffee. 20 minutes into the movie, Tony had fallen asleep. 40 minutes in, everybody jumped because of an ear-splitting scream coming from within them. They turned back to see Tony writhing on the couch with tears running down his face and a clear expression of pain.

The good captain was the first to react, running to Tony and holding his shoulder, he started to whisper soothing things, but was abruptly cut off by Tony punching his face and rolling away from him.

Suddenly the team was forcibly pushed away by a green barrier, “Motherfu-” Clint was immediately shut up by another shove from the green barrier. A man with long black hair stepped forward towards Tony.

“Anthony, darling, it’s okay. You are in your tower, it is 11:35pm. You were watching a movie with your team,” the man said gently, while carding his fingers through Tony’s hair.

“Lo-Loki!” Tony practically screamed as he woke up. He immediately curled into Loki. “You’re here?” “Of course I’m here, love,” Loki gave back, glaring at the avengers, daring them to say something.

Tony shifted his body further into Loki, acutely aware of the avenger watching them. Oh well, he could explain later. For now, he just shifted so that his head was tucked into Loki’s shoulder, and his legs were curled up in Loki’s lap. “Please don’t leave,” Tony whispered into his lover’s shirt.

“Never.”
