Freedom For All

(Not Just for the Chosen Few)

This is not a word salad; for I am more of an omnivore than a vegetarian. Let’s just say this is a word stew. When I say, ‘let’s get to the meat of the story,’ I mean metaphorically. I use all sorts of words: big words, obscene words, and medical words. Recently, I was accused of writing a “word salad.” To those with a low vocabulary, it may appear that way. On the other hand, people with a high IQ think my writing style is low class vulgarity. Yo, dog! You can’t please everybody! If I wanted to do that, I would run for political office. “I’m running from office!” Swami X used to say. True! Office!” Swami X used to say. True!fromoffice!” Swami X used to say. True!

Let’s get to the crux of this tome of artistry: Freedom, the most misused word in the English language. But, still, people use it in their own subjective way.

Everybody and their mother claims to want freedom. The Nazis want the White race to be free; the Communists want the worker class to be free; Black Nationalists want the Black masses to be free; feminists want women to be free; Zionists want Jews to be free; and so on. The Conservatives want to be the champions of freedom; however, they don’t really say for whom they want that freedom. In truth, they want only rich White Anglo-Saxon males to be free, while others are free to try to be wealthy; should they fail, well, they were free to fail.

So who are the true advocates of 100% freedom? Anarchists, of course! But even under Anarchy, there are rules, or laws. No one is permitted to kill another, so when Anarchists have a consensual vote against murder, it becomes law. And yes, there are traffic laws under Anarchy. Anarchists are the only ones who will bring society closest to freedom.

Those in the Totalitarian Right want freedom for those who are evil. The Authoritarian Left wants the dictatorship of the proletariat. The Anti-Authoritarian Left wants freedom for all, though they are opposed to hierarchy and prefer cooperation and mutual consent.

All the critics say that Anarchists live in a grand illusion of Utopia; that their dreams of heaven on earth are just that—pipe dreams. Then there is the misanthropic truth: Mankind is evil and, like the savagery ofanimals, there will always be evil. Surrendering to that realization is so defeatist that it would make God cry. Basically, such a truth is not true at all, for acceptance of evil as Natural Law is not realistic; it is just an excuse for indolence and defeatism. Imagine if scientists said: ‘There will never be a cure for cancer. You must just pray to God.’ Does that sound like a viable plan? Acceptance of defeatism.

If you inveigle kleptocracy in the name of free enterprise, you will...Let me put this another way: If you kiss the ass of the Ruling Class, you will get shit on your nose. After all, when you eat the rich, there will be heard a collective eructation around the world.

Let me be transparent here: we should all try to reach Utopia. But, with all the different ideologies constipating the market of ideas, the Materialistic Anarchists will never succeed. If we ever do reach Utopia, it will last, maybe, a few hundred years and then some religious cult will tear it down. After that, the pursuit of true freedom and happiness will be on the march again.

Nobody truly knows what an Anarchist society would actually be like. It will have its flaws, no doubt. Such a society was almost realized in Spain, in 1939, and before that, in Ukraine, between 1917 and 1939. All factions of the Authoritarian Right and Left are intolerable of Anarchism. Each time in history that Anarchy did materialize, it was crushed! Why? Because people who are egotists lose their power—and that just can’t happen!

What about Good and Evil? The construct of Good and Evil, as dictated by religion, fails to materialize in practice. In objective reality, in American society, the evil claim they are good, and the good remain silent. This metaphysical scale of moral judgment should be shunned. Religious morality can be twisted out of shape until, suddenly, ExxonMobil are the paradigm of Godly morality.

If you are strong enough and dedicated enough to the cause of Anarchy, you’ll have a long fight ahead of you. I know—been there, done that. I did get a tee-shirt.

Today, as I write this, reactionary truckers in Canada continue their “freedom convoy” to protest Covid-19 mandates. The convoy’s leader, Ben King, has said that the white race will prevail because they have superior blood lines. Fascist Putin of Russia wants to invade neighbor Ukraine. Sounds like when Nazi Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. That act started World War Two. The Covid pandemic is still raging around the globe, with new variants emerging almost daily. A lot of people have returned to work, which should make the 1% happy. U.S. former president Trump is still not in prison. When he finally does go to jail, the nation will be happy for a little while.

All of these current events are tragic, but at the same time, entertaining.

From Officer to Acting Deputy Senate Sergeant at Arms-congrats Officer Goodman for your prestigious promotion for your courageous act during the attack on the US Capitol Building. The deputy will eventually inherit the of Sergeant. This is generally regarded as a non partisan position and as long as he behaves well, he gets to drop the deputy from his title. As for the duties of the actual Sergeant-At-Arms of the Senate. The capitol police are controlled by a council of three, the Sergeant of the House, Sergeant of the Senate, and the Architect of the Capitol. And it isn't a classical policing position, he has role in the Senate. Generally this involves calming down or potentially removing unruly senators from the senate chambers, or if the senate votes to do so, he can be directed to arrest senators ditching the senate and drag them back to the senate chambers. He polices the actual senators in other words, on top of being one of the heads of capitol security. The House's Sergeant also gets a pretty big mace as a sign of their authority to police unruly reps. Unfortunately they cannot beat said representatives with said mace, but I like to think its supposed to symbolize that power. Edit: It seems that Goodman is actually the deputy House Sergeant, not the senate Sergeant. His duties are the same but he polices the house, not the senate.
