Note
In the post mentioning flashing horny mantis there was meet and greet. I have a question how other monsters would behave in meet and greet (assuming that they will show up)
(Sorry for my English ;^;)
Also I love your work
POV: Your monster followers meeting you
Tumblr media
content: gender neutral reader, mentions of stalking
LizardKing5 vehemently denies his attendance in the chatroom. "What, you think you're some celebrity?" he types, claiming he has better things to do than follow around some pathetic human.
Coincidentally, he's the first monster to greet you, standing tall at the very front of the queue.
"Whatever," he'll mumble, pulling out his merch and shaking your hand with feigned indifference. "I just happened to be in the area."
"What were you even doing before this," you ask, raising your eyebrows at the enormous backpack looming behind him.
Is that camping gear?
His clawed, scaly hand quickly ruffles your hair. Mind your damn business.
SharkMan is rather polite and reserved in his mannerisms. Don't misunderstand, he truly is excited to see you again, but he'd rather not add more to your plate. Besides, if we count the milestone event, he's already gotten way more than a handshake from you.
"Are you staying hydrated?" he asks, placing a bag of goodies on your table. "Here's something to eat during your break."
You smile and thank him for the thoughtful gesture. Hard to believe the same monster left you nearly crippled after a night together. You're sitting on the same cushion you needed for weeks after the affair.
DefNotAStalker will show up just to mess with you. He's watched you prepare for the event, he carefully observed you getting dressed; hell, he even ironed your outfit the night before! You swear the shirt had wrinkles last time you checked.
He'll shake your hand with an innocent grin and ask for an autograph. He's picked the perfect photo for it: to the unaware, it looks like a blurry print screen taken during one of your livestreams. In reality, he cheekily snapped it while hanging right above you, off-screen. You sign it with a chuckle.
"Thank you for coming, it was such a tiring week for me," you say, lowering yourself back in your seat.
"I can imagine. I hope the apartment complex will fix it soon."
You nod, distracted, and the monstrous creature slithers away.
Wait, did you ever even mention this to your followers?
Y/NSimp is elated to meet you. He's been carefully planning this for months, constantly daydreaming about the fateful encounter. His bag is filled to the brim with the required equipment: a fat stack of love letters, a marriage certificate, Photoshopped photos of the two of you together, an engagement ring, and a list of potential names for your future children.
He can already see it: he'll hand you the bag and the flowers, and you'll gasp, surprised by his romantic gesture. You never thought someone would care this much. Without hesitation, you jump into his arms, and promptly cancel the rest of the event. You'll be too busy with your husband-to-be.
Unfortunately, he has omitted one vital detail in his elaborate schemes: the correct address of the meet and greet. By the time he reaches the actual location, the doors are closed and the venue empty.

what brought back that smile? - lando norris

more content: f1 masterlist, lando norris masterlist
Since Lando Norris broke up with his then-girlfriend Luishina in 2022, no one has seen him this happy since. Of course, there have been moments where Lando walked around smiling - for example, when he won his first race in Miami or partying with friends in Ibiza. On more than one occasion, fans saw him joking and laughing until his stomach hurt with other drivers, but further down the line, everyone knew that the old Lando was gone. The one who laughed through love. The one foolishly in love, who proved it at every turn. Since his former relationship, Lando hasn't bonded with anyone - there were only rumors of fleeting romances or PR relationships. Until recently. In fact, no one knows when it took place. And since when Lando felt like a foolishly infatuated boy again.
THE FIRST TIME: Oscar Piastri When Oscar noticed changes in Lando's behavior, it was not much before the Japanese race. Or at least it wasn't so visible before. Norris was walking around smiling from ear to ear, constantly forgetting what he should do or who he should talk to about the changes in the car. No one paid much attention to it, and Oscar initially tried to ignore it as well, and winning in Miami a month later further eclipsed the spy's thoughts. After all, Lando had won his first race after so long in Formula One and so many times standing on the podium. The Mclaren drivers weren't the best of friends on the grid, but Oscar knew it wasn't because of winning the race. Or at least not just because of that.
Oscar was curious, even if he said very little about his life, the Lando case drilled him from the bottom up. And it started off small.
One morning 2 weeks after the Miami race, Lando showed up for a meeting with a goofy smile on his face. His attention was focused on everything during the strategy discussion, his mind was clearly elsewhere.
“Are you okay?” asked Oscar, poking his teammate under the table. As if awakened from his trance, Lando stopped tapping his fingers against his thigh and turned his head toward the Australian, smiling that silly grin again. “Yeah, all good, mate. “ he asked, tilting his head to the side. Oh, how foolishly charmed he was. “Why do you ask?”
Oscar shrugged. “I dunno. You just seem... happier these days. What brought back that smile?”
The question hung in the air for a long moment. Lando hung his head and laughed quietly under his breath, as if he was thinking whether he wanted to say it or rather not. And that was the option he chose, keeping his new infatuation to himself.
“Well, you know, buddy, I won a race recently. A chance to celebrate, huh?”
Oscar laughed, but couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else behind that smile, and that Lando was lying right in his eyes. Something - or someone - had brought back that trademark Lando smile. But Oscar decided to let it go for now.
Meanwhile, Lando was smiling to himself. Was it really that noticeable? Could everyone now know his sweet secret?
Such questions were cluttering his mind, but he tried not to worry about them. They were quickly superseded by thoughts of [Y.N]. It was wild how fast she had slipped into his life. What had started as a chance meeting turned into hours of effortless conversation, late-night phone calls, and a connection that had somehow brought him back to life. He hadn't felt this way since…. well, he couldn't remember the last time. And that was the point of it all.
MUPPETS: Carlos Sainz Jr Carlos had known Lando since 2019, so this year was their 5th anniversary of knowing each other. From the very beginning, the men, despite the age difference, got along great. And they soon became friends, too, supporting each other in worse and better moments. You could say they knew each other like the back of their hand, so while Lando was drifting away more and more each possible time during their conversations, the Spaniard had no more questions or thoughts. He was well aware that his younger friend's head was occupied by not something, but someone.
The sun beat down on the lush green of the golf course, the Spanish heat was unrelenting even in the early hours of the day. Carlos set up for his shot, squinting against the blinding glare, while Lando stood to the side, waiting his turn. It was a rare moment of calm before the chaos of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, and Carlos was glad to be spending it with his best friend.
Until he saw Lando miss every time, which hadn't happened all that often before. Well, okay, Lando was worse than Carlos at golf, but to that extent?
And those constant glances at the phone, which he was so reluctant to leave in the golf cart.
“Ay, muppet. What the hell is wrong with you?” rang out Carlos' voice as he hit the ball.
Of course it flew cleanly where it was supposed to fly. But what's the pleasure of playing as your friend drills a hole in the grass with his club, his other hand constantly checking his phone screen?
"Huh?" Lando snapped out of his trance. This had been happening to him more and more often lately, nay, it had been happening to him for more than three months now.
“You’ve been smiling like an idiot all day,” Carlos teased, though his tone was softer, more curious than mocking. “Actually, you’ve been like this for weeks like not months now. So, tell me—who is she?”
Lando’s cheeks flushed pink, and he quickly turned his attention to the golf ball at his feet, fiddling with his club. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he muttered, but there was a grin he couldn’t quite suppress. And in fact, I don't think he wanted to get rid of it.
Carlos laughed, poking Lando playfully on the shoulder. “Come on, cabrón. I know you too well and it's been a long time since you've been this happy. So who's the lucky girl? Who brought back that smile?”
Lando sighed under his breath - he knew he could trust Carlos, he was his best friend. He just liked the fact that he and [Y.N] were in a closed bubble of happiness that they had made for themselves in three months. Of course it was still fresh and nothing was certain yet, but Lando gave in. To whom as to whom, but to Carlos he already had to tell. It was drilling him from the inside.
“It's … nothing serious,” Lando finally said, shrugging his shoulders as if it was no big deal. “It's just… I'm meeting someone. I'm trying to keep it discreet.”
Carlos raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Dude, I've known you long enough to know when you're serious about someone,” he said, and his voice became softer. “And if she makes you smile like that, I'd say it's more than a casual.”
Lando bit his lip, trying to hide the smile that threatened to break through. The truth was that [Y.N] had quickly become the best part of his days.
“Maybe,” he admitted, finally meeting Carlos' gaze. “But for now it's just … between us, sure?
Carlos clapped Lando on the back, a broad grin on his face. “I’m happy for you, hermano. And don’t worry—I won’t tell anyone. But I have to say, it’s good to see you like this again.”
They both laughed and Lando already knew he was lost. Together, with Carlos, were like the biggest gossips, so he quickly unlocked his phone, even jumping up and down with happiness, wanting to show Carlos some pictures of them together. What luck befell him when he found out that [Y.N] also loves to take pictures.
Carlos leaned closer, curious. Lando pulled out a photo from a few weeks ago - from his once-in-a-lifetime date with [Y.N]. They were sitting on a blanket in a meadow somewhere by the water, the golden sunset casting a warm glow over them. The girl's head was tilted toward him and resting on his shoulder, her eyes were crinkling with laughter, and Lando looked happier than Carlos had seen him in a long time. His hand was on the girl's shoulders, visibly embracing her closer to him.
“I want her to be the one, you know?” muttered Lando, smiling even wider when he saw the notification from her.
LUCKY CHARM: Lando's parents Lando was able to hide his fresh relationship from his friends, from his fans and from the rest of the world. But he definitely couldn't hide it from his parents and siblings. Not even a month of knowing [Y.N] had passed when he vividly talked about how much he had fallen in love and how he hoped she was the one and last woman in his life. His loved ones were damn happy to finally see the most sincere smile of his entire life on the face of this little Lando Norris.
The air around Silverstone was charged with electricity, and the energy of the home crowd gave Lando joy like no other race on the calendar. Walking through the bustling paddock, he felt lighter than he had in years. It wasn't just the thrill of racing on his own track - it was the realization that somewhere among the sea of faces there was [Y.N], watching him.
Fortunately, he managed to smuggle her into a private hospitality suite, away from prying cameras, journalists and fans. They had been seeing each other for almost four months, in truth they were not a couple, but everything was going for it. Lando wasn't the only one who was foolishly infatuated with the relationship; the girl, like him, walked around with her head in the clouds, as her university colleagues or friends seemed to notice more than once. But in her case it was easier to hide, after all, she didn't have a million eyes on her like Lando did.
When Lando entered his private area in the Mclaren garage, he immediately noticed his parents, sisters and brother, who were smiling at him from ear to ear. The entire Norris family had a close relationship with each other, so of course everyone knew about Lando's new sweetheart, whom he had been dating with for four months.
“And there's our smiling boy!” laughed Lando's mother, hugging her son tightly. The driver laughed under his breath, hugging his family one by one, fortunately in a place where the eyes of others did not reach and they could have a moment of peace. “I'm glad you're all here,” Lando said, stroking his younger sister Flo's hair.
“How could we not be here?” asked Oliver, Lando's brother, laughing under his breath.
The atmosphere was great, however, everyone knew this question would come sooner than perhaps it should?
“Well, you know what, tell us where she is,” said Lando's dad, poking him lightly on the shoulder. “You're laughing so hard, I won't believe she's not here.”
“Yes! Show us finally what brought back that smile,” said his mom, echoing her husband.
Lando felt his face heat up, but he couldn’t keep the grin from spreading. “You two don’t miss a thing, do you?” he said, shaking his head.
“We just want to meet her,” his mum said softly, eyes twinkling with warmth. “We’ve heard so much about her, and if she’s the reason our son’s been so happy lately, we’d love to say hello.”
After a moment's thought, Lando nodded. “All right. I'll bring her - but behave,” he said with nervous but excited energy.
Lando slipped stealthily out of the garage and headed for his room, which only he and a few Mclaren people had access to. Although it was a rather hidden place, [Y.N] did not complain. She could wait out the time until the race in peace, just as she could go out to Mclaren's garage and watch it there. Lando made her as comfortable as possible.
When the girl saw him, she raised her eyes and smiled warmly in his direction. “Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yes, everything is fine,” he assured her, taking her hand in his. At the same time, he forced her to get up from the soft couch. “But… there is someone who wants to meet you. My family is even dying to meet the woman of my heart.”
The girl took a deep breath and smiled. “I'd love to meet them.”
Holding hands, they returned to the hospitality. When they went inside, Lando's mother sighed quietly and immediately crossed the room to hug [Y.N]. “Oh, how nice to finally meet you,” she said, and her voice was filled with sincere warmth.
“She's beautiful,” Cisca whispered, looking at Lando. The boy only whispered a quiet “I know” and laughed under his breath.
Immediately the whole family greeted the girl, hugging her tightly and bestowing kind words on her, including telling her how happy they were that she was making Lando so happy again. And everything was somehow better. His parents and siblings were talking to the girl he'd had in his heart for several months, and everything was going smoothly. Lando was just standing off to the side, keeping his hand on her back and giving her a little kiss to make her feel better. But he was probably the most stressed one there.
Lando checked his watch, feeling the familiar pre-start jitters begin to overwhelm him. But today he felt a little better than usual.
“I have to go now,” he said reluctantly, turning to face the girl. His parents moved away to give them a moment of privacy.
“You can do it, you're amazing on the track,” she purred, placing her hands on his shoulders and gently correcting his suit.
Lando merely smiled in her direction and without hesitation placed his hand on her cheek and leaned in, pressing their lips together in a quick but tender kiss. This was not how they had imagined their first kiss, but in that moment it was their best memory and the time this kiss could have happened. Lando pulled away from [Y.N], their eyes met and they both smiled at each other, giggling under their breath.
Lando checked his watch, feeling the familiar pre-race jitters starting to creep in.
“I’ve got to go,” he said reluctantly, turning to her. His parents stepped back to give them a moment of privacy.
“Good luck out there,” she whispered, her eyes shining with pride. “You’re going to do amazing.”
Lando smiled, but there was a flicker of nerves in his eyes. “I hope so. This one’s important,” he said softly.
[Y.N] reached up, cupping his cheek with her hand. “You’ve got this, Lando. I believe in you.”
Without thinking, Lando leaned in, pressing his lips to hers in a swift, impulsive kiss. It wasn’t planned, but in that moment, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. He pulled back, their eyes locking, and they both smiled.
“For good luck,” he whispered, his voice low enough that only she could hear.
And even if he came in third place after the race, it didn't bother him much. He won something better and it was an amazing woman.
HI IBIZA: Max Fewtrell stream Max knew Lando since they were kids. Both could not imagine life without the other person, they were inseparable. Even if it didn't work out for them to be Formula One drivers by their side, it didn't change anything. They were always side by side, and as soon as Max heard about Lando's new crush, he knew this was the one. Norris had never talked so seriously and eagerly about any girl before. And Max liked to tease him about it. But at the same time, he was damn happy.
The warm glow of sunset in Ibiza paints everything with a golden sheen. Lando Norris, Max Fewtrell and their group of friends held a casual live stream at their bungalow, which they rented for the whole group of friends. This stream was definitely different from their typical ones, where they played games on two different sides of the screen, but that was good too.
Everyone was more muted than at times when they were playing and shouting at each other. However, the biggest difference could be felt in Lando. He was more subdued, gently but sincerely smiling, and his eyes shone with such happiness that you could envy him.
The stream had been going on for about an hour, and the fans didn't run out of questions. They were inundated with the same questions as always, but today they had more opportunity to answer them because they weren't stressed by the background game. Lando kept getting questions about the Championship, the races, the competition and some side silliness. Until Max caught one significant comment among thousands of others. And of course he had to ask them.
Fan comment: "Lando, what brought back that smile? It's been a long time since we've seen you so happy, and of course that's great, but what's your secret?"
Max looks at Lando with a smile and winks. "Good question," he says, leaning back in his chair. "So, man, what's been making you so happy lately?"
"Oh, you know. Life has been better lately. Beautiful weather, sunshine, we have a beach house. The break from racing is good for me too, my head isn't as busy," Lando replied, playing with his hair and smiling under his breath.
Oh how he lied, how he lied to keep his bubble of happiness calm even longer.
"Really? Gee, I guess I agree with that comment, you're somehow happier lately," said Max, glancing at Lando with a teasing look. He remembered well how Lando had talked down his relationship on the stream, but he wasn't going to do the same to him. "Or maybe you've found a hobby other than Formula One?"
"Maybe," he laughed lightly under his breath, feeling the warmth inside his body. "I guess I just got old and I'm not that rebellious 20-year-old anymore "
"Oh, it's definitely old age, you name it" Max laughed and went back to looking for interesting comments, leaving the matter of Lando's happiness. He wanted his friend to still have peace from prying eyes.
After the stream was over, everyone went their separate ways. Some decided to have a bonfire, but Lando felt he needed the solitude. He walked out to the beach, which they had right outside the gate of their cottage, and felt the cooler evening wind brush his face. He smiled under his breath when he saw [Y.N] by the shore. It wasn't a smile that the cameras could see; he reserved this one for her alone.
The girl was wearing a white loose dress that swayed gently in the wind, and her hair was tousled by the wind. It wasn't a moment before she heard him and gently turned toward him, giving him a beautiful smile. "Have you finished the stream yet?"
"It's been a while now," Lando stepped closer, feeling the sand under his feet surround him pleasantly. "I had to get away from the chaos. And the fans are getting curious, they asked what secret I have"
Girl raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Secret? What secret?"
Lando smiles mischievously and walks closer. "That I'm the happiest I've been in years." - he says in a quiet but sincere voice.
[Y.N] smiles, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Without another word, she steps into his arms, and Lando doesn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her, pulling her close. They stand there for a moment, just the two of them, the sound of the waves crashing in the background. Lando takes a deep breath and places a kiss on her hair, pulling her even closer to him. It was the peace he had needed for a long time
FIRST CHRISMTAS: [Y.N] Lando and [Y.N] had been together for almost half a year. Their lives were filled with happiness that neither of them had ever experienced before. From the first day, they understood each other like two peas in a pod, and that's how it stayed. That's why she was surprised by how happy Lando was.
The couple in love are together in the kitchen, with the countertop in front of them strewn with flour and other ingredients for making gingerbread cookies. [Y.N] is wearing one of Lando's voluminous sweaters and humming a Christmas carol, pacing next to the countertop. Lando, on the other hand, dressed in his loose Mclaren T-shirt and Christmas pajama pants, is trying to roll out the dough, but it's not going well. His hands are covered in flour and the dough keeps sticking to the rolling pin. Well, it's easier to say that his whole body is covered in flour.
"Do you need help, chef?" - asks [Y.N], leaning against the countertop and looking at him with an amused smile.
Lando raises his gaze, feigning impatience. "It's harder than it looks, sure?" - He laughs, combing his flour-dusted hair with his hand. "I thought baking was supposed to be easy."
"It's easy, you just have some manual problems," the girl laughs and moves to his side, gently taking the rolling pin from his hands. "Here, let me," she says, guiding him to the side. Their fingers brush as she takes over, a soft, tender moment.
"Sure, my baking queen," the boy laughs, looking at her with adoration.
"You could do the icing." the girl says, pointing to the already made gingerbread cookies.
Lando's eyes brighten, his smile widening. "Icing, huh? That's sounds better." He grabs a piping bag and starts filling it, but as he attempts to pipe a simple design, it all goes horribly wrong.
“Lando!” she laughs, her eyes crinkling with amusement. The icing has spilled everywhere.
He looks down at his hands, dripping with icing. “Well, that’s not what I had in mind…” He shrugs sheepishly.
“You’re adorable when you try, you know that?” She leans in and wipes a bit of icing from his cheek, her thumb brushing against his skin.
“And you’re just adorable,” he says, moving closer to her.
Lando’s hands quickly find their place on her waist, and his face is twisted into a genuine big smile. They both giggle, putting the matter of the cookies aside.
“What brought that smile again, huh?” the girl asks, touching his lips, which is also dirty with icing.
“You,” he says simply, and his voice carries a quiet sincerity that makes her heart skip a beat. "It was always you"
For a moment, they both stand in silence, the hum of the Christmas music in the background, the quiet crackling of the small fire in the corner of the livingroom adding to the coziness of the apartment. It’s a peaceful stillness, the kind that only exists between two people who’ve found something real.

sooo I’m doing it for @k-kizkhalifa :} Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?
There are times when I daydream a lot about a certain idea, like for example about the one about pairing Ron with Blaise, but mostly it’s just a Boom! and if I don’t write it now, it’s dead and gone.
Where do you get your fic ideas?
I imagine my (as in “original but in my way” or headcanonly or au) characters during certain activities (mostly: fucking) and I add something or someone extra, or I set the scene right before or after - as it comes to me.
Do you share your fic ideas, or do you keep them to yourself?
I rarely have a big idea that is different than a shortie I am writing or wrote already, but in my head it’s like once I say it, it’s done and gone - so sharing is equal to abandoning it most likely forever
How do you choose which fics to write?
Since I don’t understand the question really I will try answering how I feel it: I choose just by how I feel about right now. When I think of Eomer, I write about Eomer. As simple as that.
How many wips do you have? What fandoms/pairings are they for?
GURL YOU NOT READY!
I have many wips, mostly of HP wizarding world, and probably sometime soon I will release another chapter of two halves of Draco’s broken wand and my favourite pairing there is Draco/Bill Weasley and Fred/George/Hermione and since it’s me, it’s going to be juicy as fuck. Literally.
What’s the last line you wrote?
“He’s a cuckoo”
Post a snippet from a wip.
Post an out-of-context spoiler from a wip.
Draco is being blackmailed and fucked by Bill Weasley
Does this word [chosen by asker] appear in your current wip?
Do you work on multiple wips or stick to one fic at a time?
M u l t i p l e
Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?
I truly have no idea what I’m doing
Do you outline your fics? If yes, how detailed are your outlines? How far do you stray from them?
It depends. For Lucy I invented a whole new interest and branch of magical creatures for Lucius to be interested in and for the moment I was even sad that I am doing all this work to finish it with some porn scene.
Do you listen to music while you write? If yes, what have you been listening to recently?
Rarely as I am bilingual and most of the music I listen to is English so I get distracted very easily
What is your favorite location and position to write in?
Any. Sometimes I park my car on my driveway and just START WRITING
What’s your favorite time to write?
Any. No particular favourite time. But I don’t like meal time to use on writing if I really must differentiate between this or that
Do you write by hand, on your phone, or on your laptop?
99% phone.
Do you have a writing routine?
I barely have any routines!
Do you enjoy research? Which fic of yours required the most research?
Research yes, sometimes a lot! But for a fic? They don’t require much researching… maybe just checking if I remember something correctly or not.
Do you enjoy creating OCs or do you prefer to stick solely to canon characters?
I like creating OCs based on characters from other fiction and I am not ashamed at all.
Do you prefer writing AUs or canon fics?
Asking that a guy who writes hardcore gay porn from Wizarding World…
Do you prefer writing chaptered fics or one-shots?
Why not both at once?
Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?
I hate titling!
Is writing the beginning, middle, or end of the story easiest? Hardest?
I never know how to end stuff. Ever. Anything. I have to force myself to shut the fuck up.
How do you choose whose POV to write in?
I don’t like POVs
What’s your favorite part of the writing process (worldbuilding, brainstorming/outlining, writing, editing, etc)?
The part when I am just a finger that clicks and my subconsciousness does everything else.
What’s your least favorite part of the writing process?
Making sure it all makes sense! Fuck. That!
What area of writing do you feel strongest in?
Area of writing? As in I AM A DIALOGUE MASTER and a little bitch for remembering what the fuck did I start with
What area of writing do you want to improve in?
I won’t improve in remembering so maybe I can start making sense more…?
What’s something about your writing that you’re proud of?
I can make literally anything about gay men crossdressing or women wearing high heels and sometimes I can even make them sassy. I am not proud of myself at all so whatever
How much do you edit your fics? Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?
Wips are being edited hard, especially longshots. I write, I stop, I edit two weeks later, I write and so on and it all depends on my mood.
Do you use a beta reader/editor?
Only for bigger or more serious projects and even then extremely rarely because I don’t know anyone that committed to my writing or weird enough and with so much free time
Do you take fic requests? Why or why not?
I WOULD TAKE REQUESTS ANYTIME BUT BEAR IN MIND THAT I AM NOT VERY GOOD AND YOU WILL SUFFER A LOT OF GAYNESS AND WEIRD SEX IN THEM, hit me up only if you’re ready for some hardcore porn or smut or sass
Is there a specific word count that you hold yourself to/enjoy writing the most?
I never think of that
How much of your personal life/experience do you include in your fics?
Barely anything other than sass and heels and my own stupidity
What’s your favorite fic you’ve posted?
I am currently a fan of my short incorrect quotes, it’s my most recent and most read work on ao3.
What fic are you proudest of?
Two Halves of Draco’s broken wand maybe?
What fic has been the hardest for you to write?
WHAT IS WIP IS A WIP BECAUSE IT IS HARD FOR SOME REASON
What is your most self-indulgent posted story?
Everyone would want a friend like you
What’s your most self-indulgent wip?
all of them :>
What is your favorite world that you’ve created for a fic?
I honestly have no clue!
Who’s your favorite character you’ve written?
From a fic? I enjoy writing young Narcissa, but frankly speaking I loved writing young Lucius and adult Draco.
What’s your favorite title that you’ve come up with?
I hate titling! Next question!
Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?
Next question!
What is your favorite genre to write?
Genre… as in dialogue-based fantasy weirdness?
What genre/trope do you tend to write the most?
PORN
If you could only write one type of AU for the rest of your life, what would it be?
one type as in the one where guys that canonically don’t fuck all of the sudden do?
Is there a trope that you’ve written before but are now sick of?
naaah
Who is your favorite character to write for? Has this changed since you’ve started writing for that fandom?
my most favourite of all times character is Sam Vimes but I don’t want to write ff about him really that much
What fic of yours would you say is the best introduction to you as a writer?
oh geez if you really need to think of me as a writer, please don’t read my fanfics EVER, I am writing them for fun and for fun only
How would you describe your writing style?
Funny, weird and sometimes even full of meaningful connections between the characters
Does what you like to write differ from what you like to read?
I try to be as good as my favourite writers!
What’s the average word count of your fics?
as me if I care about the numbers again and I will start telling random things
What is the most-used tag on your ao3?
maybe… blow jobs? High heels?
What’s the fandom/pairing distribution of your posted fics?
Harry/Draco!
Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?
well yeah, blowjobs, denial, high heels, netorare, crossdressing, getting convinced, girls knowing and getting what they want… stuff like that
Are there any fics that you would change or rewrite if given the chance?
If I had, they’d be done already
How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?
I have no idea. Next!
Do you have a favorite piece of figurative language you’ve written?
No idea. Next!
Have you participated in any fic events/writing challenges? If yes, what were they and did you enjoy them?
not yet! I plan on getting at drarry in january 2025!
Arethere any fics that influenced you to write the way you do?
The only fics that ever influenced me to write anyhow were Guarding Dark and some other fic about Sphene/Zeiat from but it was about writing more, not how
What are your favorite fics at the moment?
previously mentioned Guarding Dark, about death of Sam Vimes and dwarvish mine sign that happened afterwards. A very good fic, really a small treasure.
Are you subscribed to any writers on AO3?
no… I am a terrible subscription reader, I never have time and I always postpone to the point I hate myself
Do you spend more time reading or writing?
lately writing, but it’s a wave
What’s your favorite writing compliment you’ve gotten?
that someone read my book/story/fic and loved it or that it resonated with them somehow
What do you tend to get complimented on the most about your writing?
that it is funny I guess
Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love?
yeah all the shorties that got little to no hearts on tumblr, it’s always that longer one that someone didn’t read whole I presume… if it’s long I had an idea! Not always a good one, but long idea anyway
Is there a particular fic that readers gravitated towards that you didn’t expect?
yeah my collection of those shortest fics is currently my most read anything on ao3 like wtf
How do you deal with writing pressure, whether internal or external?
there is no external pressure but internally I am in a constant state of chaos so I really have no idea what I’m doing. Sometimes I feel pressure, sometimes I don’t.
Why do you enjoy writing fanfiction?
are you kidding me? It makes me happy, it makes other people happy and it’s an act of creation so naturally I enjoy that. Also that bitch jkr did nothing to make them more interesting so I had to make a stand for them
What motivates you during the writing process?
a thought that “this will be fun”
Do you have any writing advice you want to share?
just write anytime you feel like writing, if you don’t have an idea for a name or some other detail, simply put [name] or [detail] and continue and it will clarify later if the character is Clark Bones, an architect who likes tomatoes or a Roan Desmond Ruttington, a gardener who killed his mother’s lover when he was twelve and noone ever found out; never let yourself stumble on some minor details and change major things AFTER you write an entire chapters or bigger parts, really, you will thank me later. Also if you write sex, please please please remember that fucking is a machine-like activity and courting and talking about it must be witty, with a good taste and if not that, at least dont be gross and remember that there is nothing less fun than gross AND boring sex scenes.
Thank you, Kiz!

Pairing: Show Aegon II Targaryen x Fem Reader
Headcanon: how would he be when he's obsessed?
˚꒰notes꒱‧ English is not my first language. Gifs belong to @joekeerys. Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Aegon never wanted the throne, never wanted the responsibilities that came with it, but what he does want is you. From the moment you entered his life, everything changed. You’re the one thing that makes sense to him, the one thing that feels right. Aegon is a mess of conflicting desires, plagued by his trauma, but when it comes to you, his love is the only thing he’s sure of.
Aegon has never had anyone in his life who genuinely cared about him. His family is fractured, and he’s spent his whole life drowning in self-loathing. But when you show him the slightest bit of affection, it’s like a drug. He needs it, needs you. You’re his lifeline, the one person who can make him feel like he’s worth something.
He’s incredibly clingy. Every time he sees you, he’s either hanging off of you, resting his head on your shoulder, or playing with your hair. It’s as if he can’t bear to be apart from you for even a moment. His hands are always on you, in a way that’s both affectionate and a little too possessive.
“I can’t stand it when you’re away,” he’d murmur, pressing his face into the crook of your neck. “Stay with me. Always stay with me.”
Aegon’s insecurities run deep, and that means he’s always on edge when it comes to other people. He’s constantly worried that someone will take you away from him, that you’ll realize you deserve better and leave him behind. His jealousy is all-consuming, and he has no problem making sure anyone who even looks at you the wrong way knows you belong to him.
If someone tries to get close to you, Aegon’s mood shifts instantly. His playful, drunken demeanor turns cold, his eyes narrowing as he watches every move they make around you. He doesn’t trust anyone—not your friends, not your family, and especially not his own family. In his mind, they’re all threats, and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep you to himself.
“No one will ever love you like I do,” he’d say, his voice low and serious. “You know that, don’t you?”
He needs to know everything about you—where you are, who you’re with, what you’re thinking. He’ll start off subtly, asking about your day, wanting to know every little detail. But soon, it becomes more than that. He wants to control every aspect of your life, making sure that you’re always with him, always safe, always his.
He’s the type to show up unannounced, drunk and demanding your attention, whether you want to give it or not. If you try to push him away, he’ll sulk, using his own pain and insecurities to guilt you into staying by his side. It’s manipulative, but in his twisted mind, he thinks he’s doing it out of love.
“You’re mine,” he’d whisper, wrapping his arms around you from behind, his breath hot against your skin. “You’ll always be mine.”
Aegon knows he’s not the perfect prince (and later king). He’s flawed, broken, and he hates himself for it. But when it comes to you, he’ll use that brokenness to his advantage. Whenever you try to pull away, he’ll remind you of how much he needs you, how lost he’d be without you. He’s not afraid to play the victim, to make you feel like leaving him would be the cruelest thing in the world.
He’ll come to you late at night, drunk and miserable, talking about how everyone hates him, how he’s not good enough for you. His words are filled with self-pity, and he’ll cling to you, practically begging you to reassure him that you’ll stay.
“You’re the only one who cares about me,” he’d say, his voice cracking with desperation. “Don’t leave me. I can’t… I can’t do this without you.”
For all his selfishness, Aegon genuinely believes he’s protecting you. The world is dangerous, full of people who would hurt you or take you from him. In his mind, he’s the only one who can keep you safe. He’ll go to any lengths to ensure that no one can harm you—not even your family or friends if he thinks they’re a threat.
He’ll isolate you if he has to, keeping you away from anyone who might try to come between you. He’ll even use his power as king to keep you locked away, safe in the Red Keep where no one can touch you. To him, it’s an act of love—protecting you from the dangers of the world.
“I’m doing this for you,” he’d say, his eyes wild with a mix of desperation and affection. “No one will hurt you if you’re with me. I’ll burn anyone who tries.”
Aegon’s love for you is twisted, born out of his own pain and insecurities, but it’s real. In his mind, you’re the only thing keeping him together. He’s broken, damaged by years of neglect and abuse, and you’re the only one who makes him feel whole. He’ll do anything to keep you by his side, even if it means crossing lines no one else would dare to cross.
He’s the kind of lover who would rather see you dead than let you leave him. If he can’t have you, then no one can. His love is suffocating, dangerous, and all-consuming. But in the end, he truly believes that he’s doing it all because he loves you.
“You don’t understand,” he’d say, tears in his eyes as he holds you close. “You’re all I have. I can’t lose you. I won’t lose you.”

Terry Richmond x BLACK!FEM!Reader
WARNINGS: Rough sex (Nothing too serious, she just chokes him a lil), Dirty talk, DOM!reader, SUB!Terry, Mommy kink (yeah you heard me, we get real nasty over here..), PWP, Short!, Not completely proof read.
SUMMARY: nah. lol
✮✮✮✮
the sound of clapping could be heard from the next room over even with the door closed. They both made no moves to quiet down either, the squeaky springs of the bed only applauded her on her bouncing, giving her the praises she needed for taking a dick this size. The stretch was delicious, the girth making her feel stuffed, and the length reaching places so deep that she could barely sit down all the way.
But how she rode was already enough for Terry, she didn’t have to sit all the way. He was already so gone. The way Terry was moaning her name with curses following, you’d think that was the only english he knew.
Her heels dug into the bed beneath them, the sensation of the soft silks against his bare skin heightening his pleasure. He had begged her just minutes before to use him, fuck him into his own bed and leave him wondering why you hadn’t come along sooner, why he didn’t come find you instead. He didn’t care if it was pathetic, there was some things he could live with happily without embarrassment. There was just something about you that could make a man kneel at your feet, cry, even.
“Enjoying yourself?”
She asks before moaning, her head lulling back for a second as she felt the tip of him brush over exactly where she wanted him the most. Her voice was so tantalizing, laced with a sweetheart tone and dominance as she knew she could take away what he needed the most in this moment; a tight pussy gripping his dick and a nut that would send him to another dimension. She knew damn well he was doing more than enjoying himself.
His abs tightened under his brown skin and he cried out, opting to hold onto the headboard instead of her hips to avoid her stopping like she did last time he touched her without permission.
“Fuck, baby!”
His hips bucked wildly as the sensitivity of him became almost unbearable. He hadn’t even came yet, multiple orgasms purposely ruined being the reason for the constant tightness in his balls and stomach. She, on the other hand, had already came three times. On his fingers, on his face, on that dick. Her cream stuck to his shaft and balls, making wet, sticky sounds every time her fat ass bounced back down on him, making him release another spurt of precum into her walls.
Her cream was still warm, used as lube to help her ride that thick dick efficiently enough to have him seeing stars.
And stars he did indeed see, the glasses perched on his nose providing no help with vision as he clenched his eyes closed.
“You boutta cum for me, baby? You know better to ask mommy first”
She runs her pierced tongue over her lips and begins rubbing her poor little clit with her dominant hand, ignoring the indescribable pain from sensitivity that also somehow brought her pleasure. She used her other hand to slowly wrap itself around Terry’s throat, squeezing slightly to bring him out his euphoric daze.
Once he had opened his eyes, he got to admire her again, eyes flickering from her pretty face to the urging hand between her thighs.
She went even harder on him, staring into his piercing eyes with a clear desire to break him just in case any other bitch thought she could do what she does to him. No one else could have him, a grown man, begging to be fucked, on his knees with his face in her lap.
“You like when I fuck you like this. You like when I use you” She guides him into a nod, a satisfied smile on her face as he agrees.
“Yes- fuck!”
“Mhmm. You love this pussy don’t you?”
“Yes, yes, yes! I love this pussy, mommy”
His words sent her into overdrive. That was the first time he had ever compiled and called her the self given pet name. She knew he was right where she wanted him now. There was nothing he wouldn’t say or do for her.
“Cum inside me, baby. Fill mommy up”

(Hi, so this is in Jason’s POV with GN!reader. I hope you enjoy… this is my first time actually writing Jason so yay. Um warnings include allusion to potential suicide at the end, and reader becomes an aunt/uncle in one of the letters. Other then that it’s just Jason dealing with emotions 🙃)
The night was quiet except for the police sirens echoing throughout the city. The night was so quiet that I decided I would take off the helmet and be alone with my thoughts. A dangerous concept that I never really allowed myself to divulge into.
As I rode through the streets, letting my bike take me wherever it wanted, all my thoughts seemed to continuously circle back to them. Their laughter, their smile, all the small things that we did together before… I shook my head slightly, increasing the revs, it doesn’t matter now. They’ve moved on, they’ve forgotten me. And, it’s probably for the best.
I tried to think of anyone else, anything else. The lastest drug traffic, what black mask was up too. Anything. The hurt of being forgotten clawed at my heart, tearing its way into my chest. Tears filled my vision and I pulled off the road. Kicking the kickstand and turning off my bike, I practically through my helmet off. Inhaling and exhaling deep breaths, my body ragged with emotion of my past life. My life before what he turned me into.
I looked up and around at where I was. Freezing, I saw the overgrown rusted sign reading ‘Gotham Cemetery’. Well, I suppose I couldn’t have stayed away forever. Sighing, I made the choice to visit my grave. Trudging along the unkept, loose gravel pathway, hands in my pockets and jacket zipped up, I walked towards the barren area of my grave.
I stopped in my tracks, someone was there. Was that… are they at my grave? Faint sniffles and talking could be heard, but I couldn’t make any of it out. I side stepped to a pillar of a gravestone, hiding behind it. I don’t know exactly why I did that, I suppose I wanted to see what this person was going to do without scaring them off. I watched from the distance, as the mysterious person placed something down, a hoodie concealing their features. I continued to watch them as they stood up. As they turned to walk away, a glimpse of moonlight struck their features.
“Y/N,” I whispered. They were here… they were visiting my grave. I- I wasn’t forgotten. I nearly slapped myself for even thinking that they could have forgotten me. Never cared for me. They were too kind for that, too thoughtful, too loving…
I watched as they walked away, hands in their pockets. As they exited the cemetery, I ran wandered over there.
There it is. ‘Jason Peter Todd’ ‘A Good Soldier’.
But below the ‘heartfelt’ writing, was a seemed to be fresh bunch of red roses and a sturdy looking box, a metal box that appeared to be waterproof. Looking around the grave yard for anyone, I opened the box. Inside was piles upon piles of letters. Each addressed to… me.
So of course I did the respectful thing and opened all of them. One by one. Reading all of them.
“To my dearest Jason,
I miss you so much. Not a day nor a second goes by where I do not think about you. Now does it result in my crying most of the day, yes. But I’m okay with that. If I could trade all my tears, all my book collections, all my memories before you just to bring you back to me, I would. You were are the dearest thing in the world to me, my most perfect boy, and nothing can ever change that.
I love you.
Yours forever,
Y/N”
Tears pricked my eyes as I closed the letter just to open another one.
“To my darling Jason,
I went to school today. I haven’t been for a while because of… well, your departure. But I went today! The classes were boring, English made me think of you. Our friends say I’m not my usual self, but who can blame me. I only lost you 2 months ago. The wound is still fresh. But I know you would want me to continue school, get an education in this world, to take care of my self. It will be hard, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I’m looking forward to seeing you again, someday.
I love you.
Yours forever,
Y/N”
Each letter recited their day to me. It was like I was there, having them come home to me and telling me every little thing they did that day. Like I was watching them do it. A smile was plaster on my face as tears were streaming down my face. I barely noticed except for the few drops that landed on the paper. I was so incredibly happy, yet so incredibly sad. They didn’t forget me, they love me. Anger tore through me, I can’t believe that fucker took me away from them. But I continue reading. New emotions tearing through me with each day or week that I read. New boyfriend? Instant no, turns out that they broke up after a week. Good, still single then.
A twinge of guilt hit me as I though that as I closed the letter. They should be happy. They deserve to be happy, I shouldn’t be happy that a relationship didn’t work out because it wasn’t with me.
I continued on reading all night and into the early morning.
“To the love of my life that will forever have my heart,
I became an aunt/uncle (I’m sorry I don’t know a gender neutral term 😭) today!! I have a beautiful nephew named Ben. I’m so happy, he’s so cute and already curious for the world. He reminds me of you actually. I was a crying mess when I held him in my arms for the first time. My sister is so happy but recovering from the birth. I wish you could meet him. As I wish on every single shooting star I see, somehow wishing you back into existence with me. To have everything how it should be. You and me together.
I love you.
Yours forever,
Y/N”
As the sun’s rays started to bless the dark Gotham sky, glistening on my tear streaked face and soppy grin. I came to the last letter. The letter that they just put here today, or I suppose yesterday now.
“To my precious boy,
I love you with all my heart, and I will never stop. But times are getting hard and all I want in life is to see you again. I know it’s bad. I know I should go talk to someone, but non of them understand. Except for Dick, I see him every fortnight when he comes up to Gotham from Bludhaven. I don’t long for anything on this earth anymore than I long for your arms around me again. Your scent to envelope me again. All your clothes have lost your scent, your room in the manor is losing it too.
No one understands me like you do Jay. Every new relationship that my friends nudge me towards fail because I’m looking for you. Your caring nature, your love for classic literature, your passion for fighting for those that can’t fight for themselves. I miss you too much, and I have tried so hard these past 2 years… I know you must be disappointed in me. But you’ve surely seen me struggle these past years without you.
I love you so so much, I hope you can forgive me when we meet again very soon.
Yours forever,
Y/N”
My eyes widened as I finished the letter. My brain short circuited, not computing what I just read. They were- no I can’t let that happen. I shoved the letter back into the box with the others and ran to my bike.
No one could save me. But I damn well as going to save them.
Please Y/N, I love you too. Every wish you made has come true. I’m here now, just wait a little longer. I memorised their current address from 2 of the letters they had written. I didn’t care for the road rules, the street signs, the speed limits. I was getting them before we had a reverse Romeo and Juliet.
jason todd x reader where the reader still presumes he’s dead and visits his grave every week to give him a letter because they used to communicate through letters for fun to the point where his grave has boxes of letters. meanwhile, jason thinks reader forgot about him until he visits his own grave to see reader dropping off another letter and after they leave he takes the time to read each letter they’ve left since he died and gets emotional. okay, goodnight !

request for a logan x reader where logan comforts the reader after they come home from a mission all bloodied up? i see a lot of reader comforting logan fics but im curious to see how itd be the other way round :)
me? responding to a request like three weeks later? it's more likely than you think. also sorry it's so short. originally it turned into smut but i didn't know if you'd want that given the request was for hurt/comfort. (if you guys want i can publish the alternate smut version of this fic too).
solace
summary: you come home from a mission gone wrong and logan helps you through it.
warnings: death (offscreen), blood, non-sexual intimacy, nudity, reader has hair, pet names (logan canonically calls his love interests "darlin'" and this is me pushing that agenda), english is not my first language so please do not be rude

you’re splattered in blood and grime, grey ash streaking your skin from the fire created by a little boy lashing out at the world. he had set his own house on fire, his parents dying in the most brutal of ways, burned alive.
“oh princess, c’mere,” logan pulls you into his arms. you’re in too much shock to argue, letting him manoeuvre you like a doll.
you don’t like going on missions, don’t like hurting people. you’re only ever sent on the easy ones, the non-violent ones, where you try to convince mutant kids to join the school. you’re good at talking to children, at getting them to admit their fears to you, at soothing their worries. but even the easy missions don’t always go well.
charles could sense that this particular child was powerful, and far worse than that, he was angry. he’d lashed out when he’d seen you, screamed in anger when his parents expressed a desire for him to go to xavier’s school, to learn to control himself before he came back home again. his parents were frightened too, scared of what might happen if things continued the way they were.
they’d all died in the explosion of his power.
he was so scared. he never meant to hurt anyone, you could see it in his eyes when the fire continued to burn despite him letting go. it was out of control, no longer a part of him that he could control like an extra limb, but something with a mind of its own.
it reminds you of yourself when you’d first discovered your abilities, scared and alienated from the rest of the world, from the non-mutants around you. you see yourself in every kid you save, and in every kid you lose.
you stay in logan’s arms for a long while, the only sound in the room his steady breathing contrasting with your ragged, choked out sobs. his chest rises steadily against yours, a rhythm that you try to imitate but you can’t, and with every failed inhale you feel your frustration grow, your panic increase.
he picks you up easily, and you instinctively wrap your legs around his waist, clutching onto him so as not to fall. he would never drop you, you know that, but it’s always a slight surprise when you’re not expecting him to lift you from the ground.
he leads you to the bathroom where he helps you strip out of your clothes, so gentle with your shaking form. his hands trace each new sliver of skin revealed to him, keeping a firm pressure on you always, grounding you, reminding you of where you are. not in a burning house watching a child’s corpse go pitch black from the flames, but in the house that logan bought the two of you, not too far from the school but enough to give the two of you privacy.
in the shower, the blood rinses off your skin, pink rivulets swirling down the drain. yet you can still feel it, thick and sticky and warm. you want to scrub at your skin until its red and blistering, until you have to grow a new layer of skin, a fresh one that hasn’t been touched by death.
logan doesn’t let you. he catches your hand and whispers, “let me take care of you, darlin’.”
you lean into his bare chest and he massages shampoo into the roots of your hair, over your scalp until it foams, and then rinses it away. he runs your conditioner - the one he always claims is too expensive and why would you spend so much on hair products - through your hair, tugging gently at the strands when he notices you disappearing into your mind.
afterwards he pats you dry, and kisses every inch of your skin, reverent, on his knees before you. and then he rises to his feet and finally presses his lips to yours, soft and intimate, not rushed or heated, just reassurance that he’s here, he’s got you, and he’s not going anywhere.
“do you want to talk about it?” he asks eventually.
you shake your head, “he was just a kid.”
“i know,” logan says, rubbing his large, rough hands over your arms, up and down, “but it’s not your fault, you know that. you can’t control what other people do. d’you blame storm for what happened?”
“no!” you exclaim, eyes wide at the implication that one of your best friends could have caused the boys death.
“but she was on the mission with you,” logan comments, and you shake your head, “if you don’t blame her, you can’t blame yourself. neither of you knew, you couldn’t’ve stopped it.”
“maybe,” you say. you don’t really believe it, but logan knows it’ll take you time to get back to your usual happy self, and he’s fine with staying by your side, whispering praise and reassurance until you start to believe him again.
afterwards, he puts on your favourite movie. he spends the whole time making fun of the characters and their decisions, grumbling about how movies will base their entire plot progression on actions no real, rational person would ever do, until you giggle wetly and slap him in the arm, telling him to shut up and let you watch the film.
you lean back into the circle of his arms and he holds you tight, occasionally wiping stray tears that run down your cheeks. there’s less tension in your muscles now, but you’re not quite relaxed, so he shuffles the two of you around until he can massage your shoulders and back.
you moan at the feeling, sinking into the sensation of his large hands working at the knots, until you’re putty for him. you feel warm and fuzzy by the time his hands start to stray down, massaging your thighs.
“feelin’ better?” he asks as the end credits roll, pressing a kiss to your hair.
“yeah,” you sigh, “thank you for taking care of me.”

bsf!matt! When he talked about how much he missed his ex—totally oblivious to your feelings. [Light angst]
wc. 1.2k
note. English is not my first language! Requested!
Tumblr media
Today was just like any other day, mundane to say the least. You had rolled out of bed, washed up, ate breakfast and wore comfy lounge wear. You were just about to watch a movie when your phone rang. Putting the bowl of snacks and the remote down, as you took the call.
Your face immediately lit up with a grin when you heard his voice, suppressing the urge to giggle and kick your feet as you felt that giddy and light feeling. The conversation flowed naturally as you talked, smiling to yourself.
Matt suggested a movie night through the phone, making your grin wider, and of course you said yes. It would’ve been stupid not to.
The drive to his place wasn’t long, but the rain made it a bit difficult to drive. It was raining like cats and dogs—probably the most rainy day in months. It wasn’t raining when you walked out of the house, but it was pouring halfway through the drive.
You groaned in annoyance when you saw the traffic jam in front of you, slowing down your car since it was slippery with all the rain. The time ticked slowly, as slow as the traffic that barely moved an inch.
Your phone buzzed with a message from Matt saying that he already prepared the snacks and not to worry about it. You chuckled to yourself – you were thinking about stopping by a grocery store on your way – before replying with a simple "okay, be there in a bit, traffic jam, yikes".
Tumblr media
You finally pulled up at their place, looking in the visor mirror to make sure you looked alright. Sighing as you got out of your car, just to get heavily rained on as you briskly walked to their front door, giving it a few knocks. Nick opened the door and his eyebrows shot up in surprise as he let you in, "You’re soaked," he stated the obvious.
"Pause," he laughed, "shut up, but really, did you fucking walk here? You’re drenched." You shook your head, purposely making the water in your hair go everywhere, eliciting an annoyed groan from Nick. "No, I didn’t, but I did walk here from my car."
"Your car? The one parked right beside our front door?" You laughed heartily at his disbelieving tone, "kid, it’s raining like a fucking waterfall, just a few seconds and I’m wet— pause." Matt walked out of his room at the sound of the chattering downstairs, "Hey, you’re finally here!" He called out from the top of the staircase.
You looked up and playfully rolled your eyes, "yes, finally here, because of a certain someone I nearly drowned in the rain outside." Matt laughed and walked down the stairs, his hair bounced with his steps, looking as good as always.
"Was that funny?" You asked Nick, making him shake his head with a judging look on his face, "where’s Chris by the way-" "he’s sleeping, c’mon let’s go watch that movie, I’ve been waiting for you, you know?"
"I think I know that much," you let yourself get dragged upstairs and into his room, hearing Nick shout that he was gonna nap as well before the door closed behind you with a soft click.
𓆩♡𓆪
The first movie ended rather quickly and as you two scrolled through the catalogue to watch another one, Matt suddenly seemed a bit tense, like he had something to say but didn’t know if he should. And of course you noticed it, you were looking at him the whole time, after all.
"You okay? Y’seem a lil’ tense," he sighed softly, "it’s nothing–" your skeptical look combined with the overall cozy vibe of the room broke down his resolve as quickly as he built it and he spilled his guts out. "Fine, just don’t look at me like that."
You listened intently, making sure he knew that you were listening. "And I don’t know... I just miss her, a lot." You froze, but quickly composed yourself, not wanting him to catch that. "Your ex? Y’still miss her?" Repeating his words, unable to grasp your head around what he just said.
He simply nodded, "I just feel like I did a mistake letting her go like that you know? I should’ve fought for her," you felt a tinge of sadness, you had thought that he finally moved on. It didn’t help that he was giving you mixed signals lately, being clingier than usual, jokingly calling you pet names.
He sighed and kept on telling you how much he missed his ex and how much he wanted her back, and the more he spoke, the worse you felt. You could feel tears prickling at the corners of your eyes, but you knew it would look odd if you start crying.
Desperately trying to gulp back your tears as you listened to him passionately talk about his ex. She was beautiful, smart and just the epitome of a dream girl. He was none the wiser to the tears starting to stream down your face, still rambling on about his and his ex’s happy memories.
You wanted to just run out of there, embarrassed, but the heavy rain had become a thunderstorm outside. You couldn’t possibly drive back home, it would be too dangerous, but you couldn’t just sit there and let your heart break more than it already has.
That’s when you accidentally let out a quiet chocked sob, and Matt immediately tensed and looked at you. "Hey... why... why are you crying?" His voice was soft and concerned as he spoke, the gentleness made your tears stream faster. Your face heated up in embarrassment that he caught you crying.
You stood up abruptly and wiped your tears, "It’s nothing, something got in my eye." Even you knew your excuse sounded like a bunch of bullshit, but what could you say otherwise? That you cried because you thought he finally reciprocated your feelings but was still hung over his ex? "Hey, wait, what—" he called after you as you walked out, making a lame excuse about needing the bathroom.
Once inside the bathroom, you sat on the floor, hugging your knees. You made sure to lock the door, after all, you didn’t want Nick or Chris to catch you crying. A soft knock came on the door, once, twice, and on the third he spoke. "Please, open up."
You kept quiet, not trusting your voice, and just listened to him talk. "I don’t know why you were crying earlier, but talk to me, pretty... Tell me, you know I would listen to you, please?" Your heart ached at the pet name, how could he call you names like that when he couldn't even reciprocate your feelings for him?
You knew it was just something between friends, but that made it hurt more—the realisation that you were just a friend. You were envious of any and every girl he dated or liked, they had the privilege to be liked and loved by the guy you desperately wanted.
After a stubborn silence, he finally picked up on the hint. You said nothing as he sighed and walked away from the door, his footsteps fading down the hall. You couldn’t believe he didn’t try any harder, he had just left like that after a few minutes of trying to talk to you, it all added to the hurt you were feeling.
Your heart ached painfully as more tears fell down your face, but what could he possibly do when you’ve locked yourself in the bathroom and refused to open it—
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a key twisting in the bathroom door lock.

"the other ravens didn't know jean's age!!!"
think of any 16 year old boy you know. does he look like an adult to you? would you call him a whore if you'd found out he'd gotten into five different men's beds in less than a week?
no?
then think of a scrawny, underfed 16 year old boy. his face is bony, but not quite sharp. his nose is crooked, and a part of you thinks that maybe he just hasn't grown into his own face yet, at least until the bruising makes you want to look away before you can think about it any harder. none of his clothes fit him quite right, and you can always hear his joints popping in and out of place. he has the thickest accent you've ever heard, and you still don't quite know what he's saying most of the time, even if he swears it's english and looks close to tears if you insist it's anything but too loudly (he's only been in america for two years and it's hard to grasp much when all you have to develop your language skills from is cruel insults).
he's not as tall as the rest of the court yet — actually, he's far from it. he's not spared enough to build any muscle, even throughout the relentless practices, and he always looks five seconds from passing out by the time the drills even start. he's sweating, panting, and there's a rattling in his chest when he does... has he broken a rib? why is he even here? he's not as big, not nearly as strong, and the other ravens zero in on him until he's a puddle on the floor. he can barely keep his own racquet steady in his hands, and when he props it up to lean on, you realize he isn't much bigger than the damn thing itself. the captain is always dragging him around, sometimes by his wrist, sometimes by his hair. you think it's just messy hazing for a while, and maybe you dare to spare him a pitiful nod and hope for his sake it'll end soon, but months go by and it never does. he's doubled over one day, then running laps the next, and god, why does he always reek of blood? you start to notice his fingers as they change colors, once bony and milky pale, now bruised black and blue and crusted over with scabs. they're misshapen... broken, almost every one. he shouldn't be playing like this, but he tugs his gloves on with his teeth and plays through the pain.
you pass his room on your way to bed, door wide open. he sleeps curled up in a ball, back pressed so hard against the wall, knees into his chest. you can hear his shaky breaths, how his lungs rattle uneasily, even in his sleep. he shakes himself awake from nightmares, gripping the sheets, dry heaving as he forces his own face into the pillow to muffle the sound... but he does not scream. he does not cry. poor kid, you think, because what else could you call him? he's far too beaten down to even think to consider an adult. a puppy kicked one too many times.
the captain calls everyone into a room, arms folded over his chest, face smug as if he'd come up with a solution to the entire world's problems. but there's something strange about the meeting. only backliners. gigantic, sneering, male backliners. he asks for volunteers, a few good samaritans to "fuck some sense into him," and you watch as five greedy hands fight to be the first in the air. riko makes his pick, makes his promise, and for the next week it's all you can hear at night. you wouldn't call it moaning, but... screaming. fighting. teeth and claws and fickle words. "please. please stop. please stop. please—" and then silence. the last night all you hear is defeated silence.
and suddenly it's the child's fault, isn't it? everyone else is saying it, that he slept his way onto the lineup, that he's nothing more than a braindead whore. if everyone's saying it, though, does that make it true?
or is it just easier to stomach?

— DECEPTION (VIII)
Tumblr media
DECEPTION MASTERLIST
PAIRING — Sauron x fem!Elf!Reader // Adar x fem!Elf!Reader
SUMMARY — Your conversation with Lady Galadriel makes you realise a very difficult truth about the nature of your relationship with Sauron. You wish to keep your dark secret from your husband but you are trying to make him realise that perhaps attacking Eregion might not be the best idea after all.
AUTHOR’S NOTE — I could not wait to write this chapter from the very beginning the idea for this fic showed up in my head. Even though the Reader is not really talking much during the scene with Galadriel (it was never my intention for her to talk there much), the conversation she is witnessing makes her realise all the things that make her deeply uncomfortable and cause her whole life's purpose to shatter. 👌🏽👌🏻 This fic is slowly coming to an end, by the way.
WARNINGS — forced/arranged marriage, Reader is NOT a good person – she is proud, greedy, fake and corrupted by Sauron, "love" triangle situationship
WORD COUNT — 6,900
ENGLISH IS MY SECOND LANGUAGE.

DECEPTION (VIII)
Everyone knew who Lady Galadriel was. Not just the Elves but nearly every being in Middle-earth, including the Orcs because she had slayed so many of them. In fact, you were sure that some Uruk mothers were telling their children scary stories about Lady Galadriel. Known for carrying so much light and beauty and yet so fiercely determined to purge Middle-earth from all filth. In a way, she reminded you of Sauron in this.
Lady Galadriel was everything you had wished to be back in the day – known, respected, beautiful beyond comparison. Back in the day when you had remained incorrupt by your lover, before you had begun to dream about becoming his terrific Queen and rule alongside him. Now you could not care less about her qualities because you had your own – very often contradicting hers.
You walked together with your husband amongst the Orcs as the night was slowly turning into a foggy day and you could already see Eregion from afar.
The sight alone was gut-twisting to you because you knew that your beloved was there – so close to you. Soon, you would be in his arms as his Queen. No more secrets, no more hiding, no more lies.
But when you imagined that, your heart ached for the man walking by your side. What would happen to him then? You were certain Sauron wanted Adar dead but you… You did not.
You could never admit it to your lover, though. He was jealous and possessive. It would only make him want Adar’s death even more. And he had other reasons than you – his own revenge. The revenge you craved as well after all. Adar had been the one to take Sauron away from you by killing and humiliating him. He had his own reasons to do it, too, though. The situation between them was very delicate and difficult on many levels.
Your plan had been so easy at first – to play pretend and hand Adar out to Sauron on a silver plate. But your heart – not as rotten as you’d like it to be – kept complicating things.
“How well do you know Galadriel?” Your husband asked you and you turned your head around to raise an eyebrow.
“Not much personally. I have seen her a few times, talked to her twice maybe, except for the official affairs since I was a daughter of the Lord Guardian of The Southlands. But she mostly resided in the North, therefore there were never many occasions,” you explained. “Why?”
“I was only wondering if you might be useful when we negotiate with her,” Adar told you and you tilted your head.
“I have a feeling you hide something from me. Why did you even take her as a prisoner?” You furrowed your brows. “You promised me… You promised me that we would be equals and that you would tell me everything,” you reminded him.
Adar stopped walking for a moment and you stopped, too, staring at him and trying to show off your best hurt expression. The Orcs kept passing you by and glancing from the corners of their eyes when your husband extended his hand to hold yours.
“I have no secrets from you,” he assured you. “But I am so used to loneliness, I forget to share my thoughts often,” he admitted. “Galadriel might be our ally. She is after Sauron, is she not?” He asked and you nodded, squeezing his hand back.
“She devoted her life to fight him and other forces of darkness,” you replied. “But we are the very forces of darkness. What makes you think she is going to treat with us?”
“If she does not, we might use her. It is her who is our prisoner, not the other way around,” Adar smirked and pointed his chin in the direction where he wanted you to follow him – where some of the Orcs were already toying with Lady Galadriel, recently released out of her cage and the others were busy building a war camp for your army to reside.
When you approached them, you spotted Glûg holding his dagger close to Galadriel’s face. It suddenly made you realise how you truly became one of them – how it was nearly impossible to imagine any of the Orcs to ever turn against you the same way. From being scared of falling asleep around them, you walked confidently amongst them and you even dared to scold them sometimes as they would look down shyly.
In their eyes, you surely were no Elf anymore – not in the same way Galadriel was.
Adar stopped Glûg by putting his hand on the Orc’s arm and shaking his head as Glûg walked away, a little frustrated. Lady Galadriel’s beautiful, bright eyes found yours and she seemed to be pretty fascinated. Therefore, you straightened your back.
And after a very short while of holding each other’s gazes, she suddenly took out a dagger that had been hidden discreetly in her sleeve and pointed it at your husband. The Orcs around you groaned at that as they became alarmed and so did you – you let out a small yelp as your heart skipped a beat and your hand already grabbed the hilt of your sword. Even though you knew that you would never be an opponent worthy enough of her when it came to sword duels.
Galadriel turned around, moving Adar alongside her. And now her blade was pressed to his neck as Glûg jumped in front of you to cover you with his own body just in case.
Yes, you were definitely one of them now. Your light was all gone, your blood turned black and your skin turned cold. Valinor was awaiting you no more.
“I brought you here not as a prisoner…” Adar turned his face around to look at Galadriel as he spoke in the Sindarin language, “but as a potential ally for we share a common enemy.”
After a while of hesitation, Galadriel’s surprised eyes found yours behind Glûg. You nodded at her as if you were more trustworthy than your husband – in fact, you were less. But she did not know that and she still must have considered you to be sort of a friend. A friend enough to let go of Adar as the Orcs calmed down and you ran up to your husband to put your hands on his chest and cling to him, grateful that he was still in one piece. You knew how fierce Galadriel could be.
Adar caressed your back soothingly and you could feel her eyes on you, probably wondering about the nature of your relationship.
“Lady Galadriel, please, feel yourself invited…” Adar pointed at the biggest tent that had already been there, waiting for you two to sleep in. “Let us talk,” he added and you watched her hesitantly go inside.
Your husband followed and you began walking right after when you felt a strong pull towards Eregion. You turned around rapidly and kept staring at the forest, knowing very well that behind them the city stood and inside the city there he was – Sauron. Looking out and sensing your presence, looking out for you. You smiled to yourself and focused all your will and might to let him know that you were close and you would be reunited soon.
And with a heart so full of love for him and a brand new inspiration to carry on with your plan, you finally joined Adar and Galadriel inside the tent.
They were sitting on the opposite sides of the table as some female Orcs were bringing you food. It was a small feast in a way and you knew it was Adar’s way to make Galadriel feel like your guest indeed. You took a seat next to him and put a small portion on your plate before beginning to eat it. Adar’s portion was much bigger than yours but Galadriel’s was none. Her plate remained empty and she just kept sitting there and staring at the two of you, which was awkward in a way but you tried to ignore her.
You wondered if Sauron knew about her. Was she also a part of his plan or was she an obstacle he had no idea of? You could not decide for yourself, therefore, for now, you decided to just sit there and observe how the situation would evolve.
Eventually, she just could not hold herself back no more as she addressed you.
“Lady (Y/N) of The Southlands… Your mother arrived in Lindon some time ago,” Galadriel spoke and you looked up at her, immediately. The mention of your mother made your heart clench.
“Then you must be surprised to see me,” you smirked, “for I have instructed her to speak of me as dead.”
“On the contrary,” Galadriel raised an eyebrow at you in a challenging manner and you furrowed your brows. “She has told the High King everything.”
You clenched your jaw and gritted your teeth, nervously looking at Adar but he only nodded at you to calm you down and soothe you.
“Then you know what treachery my father was capable of,” you answered, avoiding her gaze. You did not want her to see the betrayal you felt after your mother’s broken promise.
“And what treachery you were capable of as well,” Galadriel nodded.
“My mother blames me for the fall of Ostirith, but I had no idea of it. It was no scheme of mine,” you finally met her gaze again. This time you didn’t care if she could see the pain on your face or not because it was too big to hide it anyway. “Why can she not trust her own daughter?”
“She loves you but she does not believe you,” Galadriel informed you. “She revealed to the High King that there had been something rotten about you for a while now. Ever since you had returned from Eregion–”
“Stop it!” You banged your fist on the table, angrily.
“Be at ease, she is provoking you,” Adar’s voice was calm as he put his hand on your arm to give you comfort. Then he shot Galadriel a glance.
You nodded at your husband and relaxed, which made her roll her eyes a bit.
“You seem to quite fit in. Even the sword you carry is Morgoth’s,” Galadriel pointed out.
“I had to fit in to survive. Something a grand lady like you has never known and will never know,” you remarked.
Adar seemed to be a little frustrated with your girly chit-chat as he leaned back on his chair and sighed. He raised a hand to shush you both since he wanted to finally speak of the matters that were the most important to him.
“We must not argue now,” he reminded you two and then, after a short while of silence, he looked at Galadriel. “During my brief time in your capture, you seemed intent on finding Sauron. One might even say, consumed by it,” he told her and Galadriel looked down.
You leaned back on your chair as well, with your hands clasped on your abdomen as you observed her reactions.
“The way one always is, once he has wormed his way inside your mind,” Adar kept talking and his eyes were on Galadriel. Her own eyes were rather glancing down, avoiding his gaze. Therefore, your own eyes were allowed to wander and for that you were grateful. His words about your beloved were making you feel deeply uncomfortable.
“You know nothing of my mind,” Galadriel replied to that and a smug expression lit up her face. “You yielded to him. I resisted.”
Resisted?
You swallowed a lump in your throat. What was she talking about? Since when was she ever so close to Sauron to be offered anything from him? Back in the First Age, the only time Galadriel had been mentioned by your lover was when he had been complaining about the Elven armies to you. She had never been any part of his plans – except for the one to get rid of her for once and for all.
And yes, you were aware that Galadriel had been the one to spend time with Halbrand in Númenor but you had never seen her as anything else but his tool. Was it possible that there had been more depth to their relationship? That he had shown her his soul and offered her a piece of it?
Did his soul not belong to you wholly?
“For a while, perhaps,” Adar remarked in a whisper. “But sooner or later, he sees you. Not just who you are, but who you wish to be,” he added and you clenched your jaw as you looked down to stare at your fingers.
You began to fidget with them nervously while you remembered your first meeting with Sauron. How luring and tempting he had been, how he had seemed to know perfectly well what had been your desires. And he had promised you to fulfil them all.
“His eyes bore a hole and the rest of him slithers in,” Adar kept talking and at that moment, his voice was starting to make you sick. It was becoming too much to hear all these things.
He had known Sauron – he had known him better than you in lots of ways. You were no young Elf but your husband was much older and he had known Sauron for a time much longer than you. They had fought together for Morgoth and then for themselves. The only thing you had been doing was warming your lover’s bed and listening to his sweet nothings.
And that… That was enough to make you become obsessed with him. To make you yearn for him each day and each night of your separation. To make you abandon all else – because only Sauron mattered.
“For a while, he even makes you believe that his power has become yours,” Adar kept his monologue and you took a deep breath. As you raised your chin, you spotted the look on Galadriel’s face…
The look that made you realise what the nature of her relationship with Sauron had to be…
You felt dizzy but you managed to keep an emotionless face on even though your mind began to drift away and get foggy.
“Irresistible power… that makes every desire’s fulfilment seem inevitable,” Adar smirked as he had noticed Galadriel’s facial expression as well. “An ocean of colour against which everything else feels forever thereafter–”
“A dull grey,” Galadriel admitted and you regretted eating your meal in an instant when the anxiety squeezed your stomach and you felt even more sick now.
It was her confession and the both of you knew it. You watched Adar’s face change its expression in an instant as he realised he had found an ally in her indeed – that they had both been deceived by Sauron in the past.
And you were sitting there, too. Like a fool.
“What did he promise you?” Adar asked Galadriel.
“An army,” she lied. Her eyes glistened and she shook her head and you knew – you just knew – that she lied.
You knew because you knew what it meant to love and trust Sauron. You knew what he was doing to a woman he had such a strong effect on and what it was like to share a bond with him. And all these things, you could see in her now, too.
It felt like a punch right into your gut, piercing you through and through, leaving you behind to bleed out slowly, drop by drop.
Was it possible that your lover… Your one and only, your whole purpose in life, your dream, your master, your King… That he was merely using you?
That you were nothing but one of many other women he had been finding a use for? And if Lady Galadriel was one of them – the Lady of Light – what chances did you stand? What was giving you any guarantee that it was her he had been deceiving and you that he had been genuine with?
The chances were zero.
Your whole world crumbled down in an instant and you could not let it show. You closed your eyes for a longer while and tried to focus on your fastened heartbeat instead.
“Do you want to know what he offered me?” Adar inquired.
“I care not,” Galadriel admitted.
“Children,” your husband answered anyway.
And how pure his wishes and desires seemed to be compared to you. You had been greedy, you had made Sauron promise you to make you his Queen. You had wanted to be worshipped and admired.
But now you were not so sure. Having a taste of it by being the Dark Lady of Mordor was truly making you realise what a burden and responsibility it was to lead others. Sometimes being Adar’s wife and watching over the Orcs seemed to be more than enough.
And then Sauron would slip back into your mind again… And you would be reminded once more what a great power you could have if you only dared to unleash it.
“Then it would seem he gave us both what we desired,” Galadriel pointed out.
“You see, it is not his lies which must be extinguished. It is him and I can help you do it,” Adar admitted and you felt a shiver go down your spine.
Despite everything you had just found out, you still felt awful whenever the possibility of Sauron’s death was being mentioned.
“I can help you destroy Sauron,” your husband leaned in over the table to reach Galadriel more effectively.
“What help could you possibly provide, Orc?” She snapped at him and it finally gave you an opportunity to glance at her with all your anger and jealousy that you had been feeling for a while now.
You had never cared much about that slur until now – because in her lips it sounded just so awful.
“Uruk,” you finally spoke, interrupting them as they both looked at you surprised. Whether they were shocked by the fact that you cared or they simply forgot you were there with them – you did not care.
You did not care about anything anymore. Your whole life, your whole love and devotion, your whole sacrifice – they might have been a lie. How could you care about anything or anyone?
Adar stood up and briefly caressed your cheek with his finger as he walked away from the table to approach the wooden chest with Morgoth’s crown. He took it out to show it off to Galadriel and as he walked towards her with the item, she seemed to be startled by its darkness.
“Morgoth’s crown… I was told–”
“There are many stories of what happened, after the Silmarils were pried from its settings. But I was there when Sauron re-fired it to fit himself,” Adar confessed and you kept listening as your lips nervously twitched and formed a sad smile as silent and dry tears streamed down your cheeks – they were invisible but you could feel that you were on the verge of crying. “I was there when he kneeled to be crowned and I was the one who used its power to slay him,” Adar continued his story.
Each time you were told it or you thought of it, you relieved it in your mind. You had not been there but you had enough imagination to see it with your eyes. And each time your heart weeped for your betrayed lover but it seemed to weep no more… Because you were a betrayed lover now.
Adar put the crown on the table in front of Galadriel and you looked down, hoping they would forget about your existence once more.
“If what you say is true, why did he return?” Galadriel asked.
Exactly. Why?
Until now, you had foolishly been thinking that perhaps you were one of the reasons. That the very thought of you had been keeping him strong. He had even mentioned such things when you had reunited with him in Mordor for a brief moment.
But now you could see it even more clearly – how cold and distant he had been to you while you had been the one to devour him after centuries of separation. Oh, what a fool you had been and how you had humiliated yourself…
“Because I had not yet found you,” Adar addressed Galadriel and you looked up angrily. You did not like his choice of words.
“What part am I to play in this?” Galadriel asked.
“It is said that the Three Elven Rings saved your kind from fading,” Adar told her. “Is it true?”
You wondered that, too. You had been with him when you both had received such “news” or rather “gossip” as you had thought of it back then. Lady Galadriel refused to answer, though, as she looked away.
“If it is, then perhaps together, this crown and your Rings would be powerful enough to truly destroy Sauron forever,” Adar informed her.
And once again you were torn – because even if it was true that Sauron had been using you and only that… If he was to be defeated, your whole life would lose its purpose. You had abandoned the Valar for him – your new and only god. If he truly stopped existing, a part of you would die with him surely. The part you had given away to him freely – nearly all of you.
“The Deceiver believes he is still beyond my grasp,” Adar continued, “but I know he hides in Eregion and I suspect you know for certain…” He hesitated with a smirk. “Halbrand is Sauron, isn't he?” He asked and you felt your blood turn even colder when you realised that your husband had seen through your lover’s disguise.
You had a feeling in your gut that he did but he had never told you anything about it, so you were hopeful it was only you being paranoid. But now, you were anxious again that he had seen through you as well.
Galadriel did not answer but what you saw on her face only proved to you once more that she loved the human king – one of your lover’s forms.
“The fate of that city now rests on your ability to put aside your pride,” Adar crouched down to look more intensely at Galadriel’s face. “I suggest you find the will to do so… If you can,” he added with contempt before standing up to take away Morgoth’s crown.
He returned to her to put her wrist in a shackle because she could not be trusted after her stunt with the dagger before but also – despite his sweet assurances – she was your prisoner.
“We will speak again,” your husband told her and offered you his hand to help you stand and leave with him but you shook your head. Adar nodded and left you two alone.
Long while of silence occurred between you two, in which you were debating with yourself on how much to reveal.
“An army,” you mocked her and she furrowed her brows at you. “He promised you to be his Queen,” you added and finally stood up to leave the table even though your legs were weak and trembling, which you managed to hide. You approached Galadriel slowly and leaned in to be face-to-face with the most beautiful of the Elven women.
“You reek of an Orc,” she pointed out and you laughed at that. It was nearly adorable how she was trying to change the subject.
And, you had to admit, the only good thing coming out of this whole situation was to have her at your mercy. To toy with her was your greatest pleasure – to feel in control and to feel even more powerful. There was a time you had wanted to impress her but now you were disgusting her and it brought you nothing but satisfaction.
“How can you know anyway?” She asked as she met your gaze eventually, after a while of feeling your intense eyes on her and realising you were not willing to change the subject at all.
“I am gifted with an extraordinary intuition,” you teased. “Oh, how pathetic you must feel now… To know that Sauron himself offered you to be his Queen and you considered it for a while. What does that make you? Do you think you are worthy of all your titles now, Lady of Light?” You asked with contempt.
“And were you not offered the same?” Galadriel asked and your heart skipped a beat as your smirk froze. Did she…? Did she know…?
“What are you talking about?!” You barked at her, angrily, as you straightened your back.
“Adar,” she explained and you breathed out of relief. “Did he not promise you the crown? You accepted it. How does that make you feel? What does it make you?”
“He does not wish to be a King and I do not aspire to be a Queen by his side,” you informed Galadriel, which was no lie. “What we wish for is a home. You can pretend to be so righteous and strong amongst your kin, Lady Galadriel, but you and I know how weak you truly are,” you smirked and left the tent.
It was suffocating you at this point. The air inside of it, her intense gaze, the words spoken. You wanted to breathe in the forest and gather your thoughts because there were so many as your heart was broken into a million pieces.
You stared once more at the trees, in the direction of Eregion, and you wanted to reach out to Sauron but he was not answering, probably too busy with his schemes. The fact was – he never answered your calls. If there were any glimpses of the connection between your minds, it was always him initiating it.
“What are you thinking of?” You heard Adar’s voice behind you as he put his arm on your shoulder. “You seem to be upset.”
“I… I think we should go back home,” you turned around to face him now instead of the trees, Eregion and Sauron inside of it. And at the sight of Adar’s scarred face, your heart suddenly filled in with warmth.
“What do you mean?” Your husband furrowed his brows. “Were you not the one convincing me eagerly about marching to Eregion with our army?”
“Yes, but I am not so sure anymore. Please, trust my gut. Something has changed, I am not sure… I have a bad feeling,” you grabbed him by his sleeves as you clenched your fists around the fabric, desperately. Your eyes were looking up to meet his blue ones in a pleading manner and he was staring at you with so much devotion that you were sure he still had no idea of who you truly were despite finding out the truth about Halbrand.
Perhaps it was better this way. Perhaps it should stay this way. You wanted to go back to Mordor – to that godforsaken place you had turned into your new home recently. You wanted to live in peace and safety there alongside Adar. And you were not even sure if Sauron would ever come looking for you. He would eventually show up to get his revenge and his army but perhaps you would be able to prepare for it in time. But you doubted he would come there for you.
“I know the vision of this battle is unsettling to you,” Adar cupped your face gently, “and that you wish to be back home – so do I. We shall,” he nodded. “We shall go home but not until Sauron is defeated,” he reminded you and you smiled sadly.
It was a trap and you could not make him see it… You would have to reveal your part in it for him to realise it and that was something you were not ready for. So, instead, you went for something else.
“Can you hold me?” You asked and Adar was a little surprised but he did not say anything. “I want to feel safe.”
“Of course,” he nodded and wrapped his arms around you. You clinged to him like a little girl, wishing that you could freeze time.
Tumblr media
To beg and plead for Adar to turn his army back after all the weeks of convincing him that it had been a good idea to march towards Eregion would be highly suspicious now. But you knew that the game was over anyway – it was too late to make him realise it was a trap without telling him the truth. And perhaps even after finding out about your purpose by his side, he would still decide to attack the Elven city.
You spent a whole day wandering around the forest nearby the camp. You found a tree that had fallen over and you sat under it, feeling the grass under your hands. In a way, you wished you had not found out the truth about being Sauron’s puppet – most likely.
Most likely, because you wanted to believe – you truly did – that his devotion and love towards you were true. However, if you started to believe that, wouldn’t that make you an even bigger fool?
You had ruined your maidenhood, your family and your home for him. And now you would ruin your new family, too. You would hand him out Adar to be killed and his children to become Sauron’s slaves. And what would you get in return? A dagger in your back since you would not be useful anymore? Or a crown? Would he truly give you any real power?
You were not even so sure if you wanted it, after all.
Tears streamed down your cheeks. Real, genuine tears. Because, for the first time in a long while, you did not know what to do – until now you had been waiting for Sauron, living for Sauron, worshipping Sauron. And now you were stripped of your faith and of your god but you still remained his servant. How could you stop it? You couldn’t even pray to the Valar anymore to help you – they would not listen to a fallen Elf.
When you heard a noise behind you, you suspected it would be Adar. But no, it was Glûg. You quickly sniffled your tears back and wiped your cheeks before cracking a smile at him.
“My Lady?” He asked, unsurely as he tilted his head at the sight of your tears.
“Yes, Uruk?” You asked him, trying to hide the deep amount of your sadness.
“Lord Father is looking for you,” he told you and you nodded before getting up and approaching him to go back to the camp.
“It is a pretty area of the forest, is it not?” You tried to ask him while pretending to be cheerful.
“I guess,” he shrugged his arms. He kept staring at you intensely with his small eyes. “Why are you sad, Dark Lady?”
“I already mourn all the Uruks that will die in the upcoming battle,” you smiled sadly at him.
How easy it was to spit out such soothing lies. It was not like you didn’t care what would happen to them – you had grown used to being around them. But it was also not like you truly mourned for them. However, such a lie rolled off of your tongue without much thought put into it.
Sauron had taught you well. But this time you felt bad about it instead of being proud about it.
Glûg nodded his head at you, sadly. That was when you entered the camp again and you spotted Adar amongst his children, explaining something to them. You ran up to him and wrapped your hands around his arm. He smiled adoringly at you.
“Come with me, let me show you,” you tried to convince him and you could see him hesitate. There was not much time to waste but he eventually agreed with a sigh and allowed you to walk him out of the camp.
You were starting to become his weakness.
You took him back to where Glûg had found you. It was truly a very beautiful place in the forest; so green and calm. The light was creeping in through the trees and you smiled at your husband as you caressed his cheeks and brushed his hair strands behind his pointy ears.
“Something about you in this light makes me believe I could truly be good once again,” Adar whispered to you in the Quenya language and you felt your heart clench inside your chest.
How could you betray him…?
“Damn the good. And damn the evil. Let us just be ourselves,” you answered. “Let us go home…”
“You know that we cannot. Not until he is no more,” your husband carefully and gently held your wrists to lower them away from his face. He placed soft kisses upon the palms of your hands and caressed them.
“Why do we have to come for him? Why can he not come for us? We could fight him in our own land, on our own terms,” you tried to convince him. “You know that this feeling in my gut… It is never wrong.”
“Yet it often changes its mind,” Adar smirked at that and you sighed.
You even opened your mouth, gathering courage to confess the truth in this beautiful place but the moment you were about to admit your sins, the very same courage abandoned you.
“It is beautiful here and I know you yearn for peace but we must go back,” Adar let go of one of your hands to caress your cheek with his rough fingertips. “You are the most beautiful lady in all Middle-earth,” he added in the Quenya language and you furrowed your brows at that when you began walking back to the camp.
“Where did it come from?” You asked with a nervous chuckle.
“I could sense your jealousy when I spoke with Lady Galadriel,” he answered. “As if her beauty could ever match yours.”
“You must be blind then, my poor Adar. She is known for being the fairest of the Elven ladies,” you shook your head but a playful sparkle lit up your eyes.
“That is an easy kind of beauty and I do not seek easiness in anything,” your husband answered with all seriousness.
And the thing with Adar was that you just knew that his words were genuine and they were not prepared beforehand with some hidden agenda.
Tumblr media
It was dark already when Adar and you were informed that Lady Galadriel was ready to speak again. You went back inside your tent where she had been kept for a whole day and you stood in front of her, still sitting on the chair.
“Yes. Halbrand is Sauron,” Galadriel started as the silence was growing heavy between you all. Your jaw twitched slightly as it clenched at her words. “He’s in Eregion to craft Rings that will allow him to dominate my kind. And yours.”
“Every kind in Middle-earth,” Adar added.
“But he will not attempt escape until his task is complete,” Galadriel laid her eyes upon you now. “And that gives us a momentary advantage.”
“Us?” You raised an eyebrow at her
Galadriel moved her hand in shackles and looked back at your husband, angrily.
“Unlock me,” she ordered.
Adar looked at you and you nodded at him even though you were not sure if it was a good idea to do so. He approached her to unchain her and she kept glancing at him with a mix of anger but also curiosity.
“As we speak, Elrond hastens from Lindon with an army of Elves,” she revealed. “And Nenya – my Ring.”
“I see,” Adar turned around to join your side again.
“Once he arrives, he will seal off the city,” Galadriel stood up as she spoke, “loose Celebrimbor from Sauron’s grasp, and then together, Uruks, you and I will eradicate all trace of Sauron from this world. Never to return,” she finished.
Uruks. You had been told by her or by your lover that you reeked of them. But you had never been called one.
“And what then?”Adar asked.
“Any Rings that have known his touch must be destroyed,” Galadriel stated.
“I meant, what then for the Uruk?” Adar furrowed his brow. “Will your High King permit us to return home in peace? Or will he proceed with his plans to invade Mordor?” He asked and Galadriel did not answer because what could she possibly tell? She was known to be an Orc-slayer. “The shadow has not only overcome you, it has overcome all Elvendom. In the end, your drive to prove your virtue will work right into Sauron’s designs.”
“You speak lies,” Galadriel shook her head as she spoke through gritted teeth. “Hoping I will reveal something.”
“You have already revealed everything I hoped you would and more,” Adar answered calmly and walked out of the tent.
He did not even look at you because he was so focused on the battle that was to come – he had his confirmation about Halrand being Sauron. About him being in Eregion. Now he was an unstoppable force.
“Adar…” You called out for him but he was out of the tent already.
You looked at Galadriel with a sigh before gathering your skirts and rushing out after him. So did she.
“It is time!” Your husband announced in Black Speech to his children. You were pretty fluent in this language by now.
“All of Eregion may well be under Sauron’s control by now,” Galadriel was trying to make him realise the truth. “It will take far more than a legion of your children to lay siege to it!”
But Adar was leading her to the edge of the hill from where the real power of your army could be seen. The truth be told – most of the Orcs had left Mordor to march towards Eregion. You had been the one insisting on that back in the day.
“Did you really think I would attempt to challenge the might of Sauron with a single legion?” Adar asked and stopped as he looked down at your soldiers below the hill. You stood behind him and you had to admit – the view was admirable and was filling you with pride. However, you knew very well that those poor and filthy creatures were being led into a trap.
“Now that you have confirmed beyond any doubt who he is and told me who carries your Ring, Eregion will fall,” Adar turned his head around to look at Galadriel with a smirk. “And Sauron with it.”
“No…” Galadriel looked down, visibly overthinking something. “This must be what he wants. Sauron has no army of his own, so he’s lured yours here instead,” she laid her eyes upon Adar as your heart skipped a beat.
She even found your eyes, too, as if she was trying to make you see the truth your husband could not. She was able to see the treachery but she still could not see the deceiver. You suddenly realised Halbrand’s task had not been very difficult.
“He wants you to attack Eregion,” she added but you remained still. It would be suspicious to agree with her words eagerly but you hoped she would make Adar change his mind. After all, he wanted to protect his children the most.
“Bind her. She will be useful later,” he ordered instead and three Orcs hurried to your side to grab Galadriel.
Of course. The love he had for his children would always be overshadowed by his hatred towards Sauron. His personal revenge, his own retribution.
“I beg you…” Galadriel addressed Adar but he ignored her so she laid her eyes upon you. “Do not let your husband be a fool! Do not do this! Do not take his lure!”
Her desperate words and her behaviour as she was being dragged away by the Orcs were sending a shiver down your spine because you could see yourself in her – you could see yourself doing the same to protect him but you could not.
You were terrified of Adar’s reaction after finding out the truth about you. He would never trust you again.
And, after all, Sauron’s grasp around your heart was still tight and painful. Perhaps you were only a tool in his scheme but you still did not wish for his downfall or his death.
“I will make him choke on it,” Adar remarked.
“No!” Galadriel shouted. “You mustn’t. This is all his design! This is what Sauron wants! Whatever forces were encouraging you to come here were his!”
You looked away, nervously.
Thankfully, your husband was too occupied with his thirst for the battle to truly think about Galadriel’s words. She had no idea, of course, that it had been you encouraging Adar to march with his armies towards Eregion. But she had said one sentence too much.
Glûg handed Adar a war horn but he did it hesitantly, causing his Lord Father’s impatience. The Orc was visibly worried and startled by Galadriel’s screams and warnings.
Adar was not, however. He blew the horn and a malicious feeling filled your heart – there was no way back.
Your betrayal was definite as you had just brought Sauron his army.

Roy stands in front of the stove and stares at the soup.
He watches it simmering, the surface gently bubbling every now and then, and he tries not to think too much.
It's been pretty hard, lately, not to think too much, but he has to do it, because if he starts to think, he will get angry again.
Roy can't afford to get angry. Not yet, anyway.
He stares at the simmering soup until it is ready, and he turns the stove off and takes the pan off of it, and he takes the nice bowl out of the dishwasher and starts to ladel the soup in it, because, damn it, he is using the nice bowl for this. Would it be safer to use the less nice ones? Maybe, but Roy doesn't feel like playing it safe and behaving like the nice bowl is above this.
He is getting way too agitated about bowls. Roy stops, breathes in the herbal scent of the soup, and continues to get the soup from the pan into the nice bowl. He then gets the high glass from the cabinet, because the nice bowl of soup needs a nice glass of water to go with it.
He then takes both and makes his way to the bedroom.
He stops at the doorway.
The ceiling is off, because Jason's eyes and head can't really handle too much light right now, but the desk light on Roy's side of the bed is on. Lian is laying on that side of the bed, curled as close to Jason as she can, with a book in her hands. It's one of Jason's, though Roy can't see which one from where he is standing, but the words he can hear Lian softly reading out make it sound very English.
Jason's eyes are closed, but his head is turned ever so slightly towards Lian, and from how he is breathing, Roy knows that he is awake.
It is something that any other time would only make Roy's heart swell with love and happiness, but right now, there is an ugly, bitter taste all over it, preventing him from truly enjoying it.
He clears his throat a bit. Lian turns to look at him over her shoulder, sees the bowl and the glass, and she takes the book and scoots to the edge of the bed.
"Lian."
Lian looks at him little pleadingly, even though by now, she already knows the answer.
Roy shakes his head. Lian turns her eyes down. She puts the book on the nightstand, and reaches to wrap her fingers around Jason's for a second, before she slides off of the bed. Roy steps into the room to get away from the doorway, so she can get past him and out of the bedroom.
"Thank you", Roy whispers to her as she walks past him. He then nudges the door closed and walks up to the bed.
He turns on the desk light on Jason's side of the bed. Jason twitches a little, his eyes flutterin and his brow pinching a bit.
"Sorry", Roy murmurs. He puts the bowl and the glass on the nightstand to have both his hands free. "I'm gonna move you up a little."
It's a familiar dance for both of them by now. Jason hums affirmatively, Roy steadies his back and neck and pulls him up a little against the headboard. Jason's jaw clenches because by now, the painkillers have stopped working and he is more lucid and definitely more aware of everything that is going on with his body, but he wants it this way, because being more lucid means that he can kind of eat on his own.
'Kind of' in this context means that he can swallow without spewing anything on himself, and that is something that Jason is willing to take, even if it comes with more pain.
Jason opens his eyes when Roy lets go off him to pick the bowl back up.
"How're you feeling?" Roy asks. He tries not to ask it every time Jason is even marginally awake, but it's difficult, because every time Jason closes his eyes, Roy can only see him laying there, bloody and still and him looming over his body.
It's been weeks now, and still, Roy can't seem to forget how he had felt back there, when for a one moment, he had thought that Jason was dead.
Jason just breathes for a moment. He has to do it a lot, as he cannot breathe very deeply at all.
"Fine", he says, which Roy deciphers as meaning not worse than the last time you asked. It's good enough, all things considered.
"That's good." Roy gets some soup on the spoon. Jason's left hand is in theory capable of holding onto things, but in reality, it still shakes too much for him to be able to do anything precise with it. So what he gets is Roy spooning the soup for him.
They don't speak while Jason eats. Just the act of eating takes too much of his energy, and he needs to focus to it in order to get it done. It is all familiar by now as well. After Jason has gotten at least some food and water down his throat, Roy will give him his next dose of painkillers, and then talk to him while he falls back asleep.
Roy knows that Jason hates it.
They have talked more than enough of their childhoods at this point. Roy knows all the unsavory details of Jason's story, and right now, at this moment, the ones of his mother, almost always unresponsive towards the end, with Jason trying his best to keep her alive by any means necessary, are at the forefront of both of their minds. Roy knows it.
He also knows that it is the one place Jason never wanted to end up in, and he's been there once already.
It is why he doesn't want Lian to see him right now, no matter how much he adores her. Jason had been alone, back then, taking all the responsibilities of adults when he had just hit double digits in age, and the last thing he wants is to make another kid go through the same. It's not the same, since Roy is there, but it is too close for Jason nevertheless.
Roy has tried to explain it to her, so she wouldn't feel like she's done something wrong. She understands, but with that understanding, has only come the need to help even more.
Roy loves her so much. He wishes that she never has to go through anything bad in her life.
Roy also loves Jason, and while he knows that there is nothing that he could've done for him before, he will never forgive himself for not protecting him now.
He doesn't say that out loud. Not yet.
Jason finishes half of the bowl before he just simply cannot make himself eat more. He accepts enough sips of the water to not be dehydrated and to get the painkillers down. Roy lets him stay sitting for a moment longer, before he lowers him back down onto the bed.
He says other things out loud. Simple things. Simple, loving things, that don't reveal how much Roy wishes to take all the pain from Jason and give it back. He will, eventually, because Roy knows Jason, and he knows that for Jason, saying those things out loud is love as well.
But not yet. Not yet, simply for the fact that if Roy does so, he will have to do as he says, right there, right then, and he cannot yet.
Not yet, when Jason still needs him like this.
Jason closes his eyes, slowly, as the awareness in them dims, and eventually his breathing evens out, as much as the painkillers allow him to not care about everything in him that has been broken.
Roy watches him sleep.
He is happy, now, that he listened to Jason and never told anyone, not even Dick, about them. As much as Roy loves Dick, he is now a safety hazard, a possible breach in this place that Jason has for himself. A place that no one will know to come and look for him from.
That is good. That is exactly what he needs right now.
That is exactly what Roy wants.
Batman will not be able to find Jason. He will not be able to come for him.
No. When the time comes, it will be Roy who comes for the Batman, and when that time comes, Roy will be ready for it.

Ms. Ackerman
Summary: Levi's newest Squad and yours are both bickering about the humanities strongest soldier's questionable relationship status. They however didn't imagine he'd be married, and to you out of all people.
Warnings: Husband!Levi x Fem!Captain!Wife!Reader. Swearing. Teenagers arguing about dumb stuff. Reader is around Levi's age so it's all legal. "S/N" stands for (your) Squad's Name. SFW!
English isn't my first language, so sorry for any mistakes. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
The distant chatter echoed through the bricked walls to the main hall, where the members of Squad Levi, without their captain, were engaged on a—way too serious—debate about Levi's love-life. Not even the thick, tall wooden doors were able to muffle the constant screams of disagreement between the cadets.
"No! There's no way in hell he's even had his first kiss. Ever!" Connie argued against Mikasa, who was the most hopeful for her Captain and his private issues. She was sat between Eren and Armin, calmly sipping on a cup of freshly brewed coffee while silently enyojing the discussion.
"To be honest, I doubt anyone would ever want to be with him. Have you seen the way he glares at everybody?" Jean jumped in, his face contortioned into an expression of fear and disgust together. "I would not speak a word to him, man or woman."
"I highly doubt he'd even look your way, Jean. You might even be some sort of omen in his day to day." One of your soldiers said, entering the warm, barely lit room. The rest of your squad got in after him, sitting themselves down on the wooden table so to accompany the teenagers. Some others decided to prop themselves up against the wall as there was no space left on the benches.
"My condolences to whoever might be his partner." They all laughed together, even Sasha—who was previously too busy stealing away Connie's dinner to even listen.
"Who's partner are y'all bullying now?" Levi's tone was annoyed and raspy, he glared at the group of cadets that were out, past their bedtime, being obnoxiously loud despite their superior's orders to hush.
His squad froze in fear, stopping all movements as if he couldn't see them that way. Eren gulped, thick, wide eyes looking back at his captain.
Your squad just shut up, smug smiles still plastered all over their faces. They knew better than to try and explain themselves out of Levi's punishment.
"Go spend your time on something wise. This stupid bickering is gonna do nothing to that smooth brain of yours." He sighed, eyebrows knitted together on a deep frown. For times like this he almost regretted choosing a bunch of teens to be part of his mighty squad. Almost.
"I mean- C'mon Captain. When are you gonna tell us 'bout your love li- ow!" Springer held the back of his head, which had been smacked by Mikasa in an attempt to shut him up before he doomed them all.
"Hm?" Levi lifted an eyebrow, wide eyes looking at the group in front of him. He decided to go and make some tea in hopes of freeing himself from the situation.
"Like- Have you got a girlfriend...boyfriend...ever?" Jean spoke and his teamed groaned in defeat. Fifty laps around the training fields weren't sounding so terrible now.
Levi huffed, rolling his eyes as his lips touched the steaming hot liquid on his porcelain cup. He shook his head in disbelief, acting deaf to the questions.
"No offense, Captain, we just don't see you as someone who would have a romantic partner, that's all." Another soldier of yours spoke, nervously tapping their foot on the ground.
"Again, i do not see why my life should be a matter of yours." He sat down on the table besides the younger's, crossing his legs and resting his arm on the back of the wooden chair.
"Please! We want to know!" Sasha whined, mouth full of rice, which made Levi scrunch his nose up in disgust.
Another deep sigh left through his nose, deciding to answer the kids and put an end to the conversation asap.
"If I tell you, will you shut the fuck up?" He groaned, massing his temple with his free hand.
His squad and yours both beamed with happiness, nodding excitedly at the Captain's will to reveal a fact so private.
"Such a pain in the ass." He muttered under his breath, lowering his cup on the table. "I don't have a girlfriend."
Jean's laugh resonated through the walls, hitting Armin in the back and shaking him violently. "I was right! You heard, Mikasa? He doesn't even have a-"
"I'm married; I have a wife."
And suddenly, the room was silent. Mouths agape, the teens turned to look at him, expecting to see some sort of hint of lying on his face.
Levi resumed his tea-drinking, eager to get both teams back to their dorms sooner than ever.
"Sorry, I just- What kind of person would marry you?" A cadet of yours asked, her face still portraying a big shock.
"Why don't you ask your captain instead?"
"Ask me what?" You entered the room with a wide smile, all twelve soldiers automatically saluting. "Captain" you greeted Levi with a deeper voice. He nodded back to you.
"They were asking what kind of person would marry me." His grey eyes glinted as he looked at you, leather straps still attached around your body.
"Oh?" You let out a small giggle, sitting down on top of the table Levi was at, not bothering to pull out a chair. "And what kind of person do you think I am?"
If Jean's jaw was already on the floor, it would easily reach the cellar on the basement below them after the big revelation. Even your squad was a loss of words, exchanging glances between each other.
"Squad Levi, S/N, you are dismissed." Your smile widened at their faces.
"But-"
"Now." Levi's stern voice made everyone rush out of the dinning hall and get back to their dorm room.
"Time you set some limits." You shoved him in the shoulder, a smug grin adorning your lips.
"Time I get a new Squad." He murmured as you both got up and slowly left the hall too, enjoying the rare peace and quiet of the headquarters at night.

2019 debut year <> first meetings - maknae line
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
word count: 2.1k TW: a bit of swearing, cyana is sad for some reason italics are in english and bolded words are in Mandarin this is a continuation from the hyung line fic, so please read that for continuity's sake!
౨ৎ ─── ─── ──౨ৎ─── ─── ──౨ৎ─── ─── ──౨ৎ
MINGHAO:
Although he had been all but ready to make fun of Jun when he was nervous and shy, Minghao found himself suffering just the same as Cyana approached him. Being the final member to meet her officially, he had the gruelling process of waiting as she slowly made her way through members before finally reaching him. "Hi. Nice to meet you, I'm Xu Minghao." He opted for a hug rather than a handshake, smiling when Cyana wrapped her arms comfortably around his waist. Parting, Cyana shot him a bright smile. "I'm so glad you and Jun speak Mandarin. I haven't met anyone besides my parents who knew the language." Minghao was glad to have brought her a sense of comfort. "We're just as happy. It's always nice to meet someone connected to home. Where in China are you from?" "My parents lived in Shenzhen before moving to Vancouver." Minghao's eyes widened and he glanced at Jun, who was lazily stretching, warming up for practice. "Jun's from Shenzhen too." Cyana followed his gaze, frowning when she saw the boy. "He's very quiet." She gathered. Minghao nodded, chuckling. "He's shy around strangers. He'll warm up, don't worry. He was quiet around me too, when we first met." He turned to look at her, studying her before continuing. "You're quiet too though, a little bit." Cyana flushed. "I don't really speak much, yeah. Prefer to listen most times." Honestly, Minghao didn't mind. He enjoyed the peaceful nature that seemed to radiate off her even within the short time they'd met. It was a change from the usual chaotic energy SEVENTEEN oozed of that Minghao accepted gratefully. "If it ever gets too much, Wonwoo and I are usually quieter company. We don't like doing too much outside of work." He didn't miss the way her face soured when he brought up Wonwoo's name. Cyana took his advice and invitation gratefully, promising to tell him if things ever got too much and to come find him whenever necessary. He savoured the look on her face, one of pure innocence and blissful unawareness of the tumultuous waves idol life could be. He distinctly remembered entering Korea with the same wide-eyed look on his own face and made a quiet promise he'd help keep that glow in Cyana's face as long as possible.
DK:
"Hi hi~" DK bounced up to Cyana, shaking her hand vigorously. He had heard Seungcheol's warning in the beginning -- to be calm and not to overwhelm the girl -- but he just had so much excitement to share! This was a day of celebration, having a new member join them, and it irked him a bit that the others were not treating it as such. "I'm Dokyeom, nice to meet you!" He sang, smile widening when Cyana moved to match his energy. "Hi, Dokyeom~" Cyana giggled at the boy's actions, unconsciously matching both his tone delivery and his movements, hands in his as they both jumped with excitement. She found it endearing, how energy seemed to spill out of him uncontrollably. "I wanted it to be a big celebration," He explained, pausing for Joshua to quickly translate. "I was going to order a cake, put up decorations, maybe some gifts-" Cyana protested profusely. "No, no- that's too much work." Deterred from his original train of thought by her sudden Korean, DK cooed, shaking her as he died at how cute it was. "Ah~ so cute!" Cyana blushed, unsure of what to do with the amount of attention DK was giving her. She was also hyperaware of the fact that he was still clutching her hands from before. Noticing how stiff her posture had gotten all of a sudden, DK immediately took a step back, unlatching himself from her and apologizing. Cyana shook her head. "No, no, it's okay. Just caught me off-guard." She sent him a warm smile. "This is nice." She admitted after a pause, enjoying how comfortable she was around him. She felt as if she had known Dokyeom for ages. DK sent back a blazing smile of his own. "Yes." He agreed happily, "So nice. So amazing. So unbelie-bubble." Cyana let out a loud laugh, startling everyone, including herself. It had been the loudest sound she'd made since entering the room. DK grinned, proud. Her laugh was really pretty, he realized. It made him want to make her laugh again just to hear it, to bathe in the warmth of it. Hell, he'd bottle it up if he could.
MINGYU:
Mingyu knew Wonwoo was hiding behind him. A coward, he mused, as he watched Cyana make her way slowly towards them. He couldn't understand why so many of them were nervous to meet her, Cyana was just a girl like so many others they had met before. "Hello~ I'm Mingyu." He opened his arms tentatively for a hug and felt both pride and relief when she had accepted. Okay, maybe he was a little nervous. He was scared she'd find him intimidating because of his sheer height and size. "You're- so tiny." He said, gesturing with his hand how short she was compared to him. Cyana gave him a look. "We've only just met and you're making fun of my height?" Mingyu spluttered, backtracking. "I- um." He pointed wordlessly at a cackling Vernon. "He teach me- to say." Vernon had insisted the line would be a good icebreaker. Now she seemed more amused then offended. "Ah~ I see. It's okay, I was only joking. You are very tall." He nodded, agreeing. "Yes. The most tall." He thought she seemed quite impressed by it all. "Your English is good!" She complimented, happy that they were able to carry a decent conversation on their own. He grinned. "Practice." He pointed at Vernon again. "Vernon." Cyana smiled. He liked making her smile, it brightened her face and the hint of sadness within her eyes disappeared when she did. Mingyu wondered what on earth could have made her so sad so early in the morning, but figured they were not close enough to directly ask. He didn't really know how to say all that in English anyways.
SEUNGKWAN:
Seungkwan found it both a bit endearing and amusing, the way Cyana was following behind him as they toured SEVENTEEN's floor. He likened her to a confused and intrigued cat, running her hands across the wall as he led her down the hallway towards the main lobby. Her eyes shone, and she was listening with full attentiveness at whatever he was saying. "This is- uh, recording studio, three recording studio, here." He pointed to the hallway to the left of them. "And here-" he paused, doing his best to recall the English word for 주방. "Here is kitchen. Eating~" He mimed eating food as Cyana nodded. He'd noticed that Cyana was very quiet and only ever talked if it was to answer a question. He didn't mind of course, many members had been like that too when they'd first met, but it confused him why a child actor would be so shy. "You are actor?" He asked, stopping in the lobby to get her response. He could almost feel the shift in the atmosphere the moment he asked the question. Cyana's shoulders tensed and she nodded. "In LA, yes." "That's cool." He offered lamely, not really knowing what else to say. Getting the sense that she didn't want to talk about the topic, Seungkwan gestured over to the large screen that overtook one of the lobby walls, currently displaying scenes from SEVENTEEN's music videos. "Seventeen." He said, still at a loss of words. It was rare for him not to know what to say, he prided himself in being good at filling silences, but this particular silence felt heavy and sad. He glanced at Cyana, who had her neck craned up as she watched the bright screen flash. The lights reflected against her irises and Seungkwan could swear she was holding back tears. Perhaps it was the homesickness, he deduced, scolding himself for bringing up her acting career. She had probably found it hard to leave everything behind. She turned to him and the heavy silence was gone. "These are all you guys?" She asked, pointing at the screen. Seungkwan nodded. "You guys are amazing." She marvelled. "So synchronized and captivating." "You." He pointed at the screen, having only understood the first compliment. "Soon." She smiled ruefully. "Hopefully. I wouldn't want to let you guys down." He wanted to let her know that he was sure the company had told her that everything was on her shoulders and that their success depended solely on her but the members wouldn't think that way. They'd all been there before, moments before debut and wondering if they'd somehow fail and disappoint the others. He wanted to tell her not to think like that. That she should be performing and working hard for herself and not because she had to. If he could say it in Korean and have her understand, he would have.
VERNON:
"Wassup, I'm Vernon." He shook Cyana's hand, confused when the girl seemed to be fixated on his face. "Is there something on my face?" He asked, reaching up to pat it. Cyana blinked out of her stupor. "Sorry. No, it's just-" She pointed at his sunglasses. "Why are you wearing sunglasses indoors?" "Oh." He took them off sheepishly. "I don't really know." Cyana let out a tiny laugh, gesturing for him to put them back on. "Keep them on, I didn't mean it in a judgemental way." Vernon placed them back on and Cyana couldn't help but laugh at how he seemed to just listen to her without thinking. Maybe it was the tie-dye tshirt or the terribly ripped jeans as well, but Vernon just seemed like a walking meme to Cyana and she found it incredibly funny. "Well, now I just feel like you're laughing at me." Vernon complained, although he was sporting a similar grin. Cyana shook her head, still laughing. "No, no, I swear I'm not." "Don't lie~ You so are." Vernon found that he liked the easy banter that seemed to flow seamlessly between them, realizing just how fast they seemed to click. "No, I'm laughing with you, not at you." "Right. You're going to tell me you actually enjoyed watching Birdbox next." Cyana's jaw dropped. "I actually really hate Birdbox." Vernon's eyes lit up. He'd tried using that line once on Joshua before, but the older boy hadn't understood what Vernon was getting at. "No fucking way." Vernon couldn't contain his excitement. "No one ever gets that reference." "You watch movies too then?" She asked, smiling when he said yes. If Seungcheol hadn't called everyone in for a group huddle before practice, Vernon would've whipped out his letterboxd to compare with hers right then and there. As if having a new member couldn't get any better.
DINO
Dino thrummed with anticipation as he patiently waited for his turn to speak with Cyana. She was really pretty, Dino observed, and she was really shy too. She seemed to interact with most of his hyungs with a sort of apprehension, as if secretly a little bit terrified. Dino couldn't blame her. He supposed they probably did look a little terrifying, all 13 of them when there was just 1 of her. "Hello~" He said, nervous when she approached him. "I'm Dino. And Chan. We're same, uh- old? age. Same age." His ears turned pink at his little stumble. Thankfully, Cyana didn't react to his mistake. "Really?" She said instead, lighting up. "I didn't know that. I've always wanted a friend my age." He thought for a little bit before replying. "Me too." He gave her a bright smile, praying that it'd make up for his poor English. Something about the fact that they were both the same age seemed to have soothed Cyana, as she took a step closer to Dino and held at her phone. "I- um, could you," She flushed as she tried to explain. "do you have the wifi?" Dino's shoulders relaxed, thankful it was a question he could answer. Taking the phone, he recognized her wallpaper to be a view of the Han River. Upon pointing it out, Cyana explained that she had passed by it on her way here and had fallen in love with how peaceful the waters were. He could understand what she meant. He often visited the Han River just to watch the current when he was a trainee. It served as a way to both relax and clear his mind. Handing the phone back, now connected to wifi, he mustered up the courage to ask her something before she could leave to say hi to someone else. "I- Han River. We can go, uh- together?" Cyana smiled and nodded. "Of course."
author's note: thank you so much for reading! thank you for all the love you've given this series and i'll be updating as much as possible. i've fallen in love with this universe and cyana lol.

As the night deepened, the soft hum of the waves filled the quiet air, creating a serene atmosphere around you and Ben. The private beach was quiet, the only sound the gentle lapping of the ocean against the shore. You found yourself sitting between Ben’s outstretched legs in the cool sand, both of your feet dipped in the water as it ebbed and flowed over them, the tide brushing softly against your skin.
Ben’s arms were wrapped loosely around you, his chest firm against your back as he held you close. His chin rested on your shoulder, his breath warm against your neck. You could feel the steady rise and fall of his chest against you, the warmth of his body contrasting with the cool breeze coming off the water.
You leaned back into him, feeling completely at ease, the weight of the day’s emotions slowly dissolving into the peaceful night around you. The sky above was littered with stars, their light reflecting off the calm surface of the ocean, creating a shimmering, ethereal scene.
Ben’s hands rested on your belly, his fingers gently tracing circles as the two of you sat in comfortable silence. Every so often, he would press a soft kiss to your shoulder or the side of your neck, his presence grounding you in the moment.
“It’s perfect here”, you murmured, breaking the quiet as you looked out at the endless horizon. “I could stay like this forever”.
Ben hummed softly in agreement, his arms tightening around you slightly. “Yeah”, he whispered, his voice low and content. “No bullshit, no noise”.
You smiled, your fingers lacing with his over your belly, feeling his protective warmth. “It’s hard to believe that in just a few months, it won’t just be the two of us anymore”.
Ben let out a soft chuckle, the sound vibrating through his chest and into your back. “Yeah, everything’s gonna change. But I wouldn’t have it any other way”.
You turned your head slightly, your eyes meeting his as you looked back at him. “You’re ready for this, aren’t you?”.
Ben’s gaze softened, his usual smirk replaced with something deeper, more genuine. “I never thought I’d be ready for something like this”, he admitted, his voice quieter now. “But… Yeah, Guess I’m ready”.
Ben’s palm continued to brush softly over your belly, his touch gentle and soothing. The night was peaceful, and you felt yourself drifting deeper into a quiet contentment in his arms. But then, without warning, something changed—a sudden, hard kick against Ben’s hand.
You gasped, your body instinctively jumping slightly between his legs. Your heart raced as you felt the undeniable movement from within, your breath catching in your throat. For a moment, the world around you seemed to freeze, and the only thing that mattered was what had just happened—the first kick of your baby.
Ben stiffened behind you, his hand still resting on your belly, but now perfectly still. “Did you feel that?”, he asked, his voice low and rough with amazement.
You nodded, your hand instinctively flying to your belly, your emotions surging. “I… I did”, you whispered, your voice shaking with disbelief. Tears welled up in your eyes, your heart swelling with the realization of what had just happened. “That was… that was the baby”.
Ben’s breath hitched slightly, and for a moment, he didn’t move. His hand remained firmly pressed against your belly, as though he was trying to feel it again, to confirm that it was real. Then, as if on cue, there was another strong kick—this time, you both felt it clearly, and the emotion of it hit you like a wave.
Ben let out a breathy chuckle, the sound filled with awe and something deeper, something you had never heard from him before. His arms tightened around you, pulling you impossibly closer.
Tears were already falling down your cheeks, your bottom lip trembling slightly as the flood of emotions overwhelmed you. You placed your hand over Ben’s, both of you feeling the connection to the life growing inside you. It was a moment you’d waited so long for, and now that it was here, the reality of it seemed almost too much to handle.
Ben grinned, his eyes shining with the same mix of joy and awe that you were feeling. He leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to your shoulder, his lips warm and comforting against your skin. “Took him long enough”, he murmured with a soft chuckle, still riding the high of that first undeniable kick. His usual confident, tough exterior had melted away completely in this moment, revealing the softer side he reserved only for you.
You laughed through your tears, the sound a little shaky, still trying to process everything. “Yeah, well, I think he’s making up for lost time”, you said, your voice thick with emotion as Ben’s hand brushed softly over your belly again.
As if in response to Ben’s touch, another firm kick landed right against his palm, followed by several more in quick succession. Each one sent a ripple of happiness through you, your body responding to the life inside in a way that felt so powerful, so beautiful. Ben’s grin widened, and he let out a breathy laugh, clearly enjoying the feeling of his child moving beneath his hand.
“Strong little guy”, he whispered, his voice full of pride as he continued to gently caress your belly. His hand moved in slow, soothing motions, almost as if he were communicating with the baby through his touch, coaxing more movement out of him. And sure enough, each soft brush seemed to earn another enthusiastic response.
The two of you sat there for a long while, wrapped in the serenity of the moment, savoring every kick and flutter from your unborn child.
Eventually, the cool night air and the weight of the emotional day began to take their toll. You yawned, your body starting to feel the exhaustion. Ben noticed instantly, his hand still resting on your belly as he leaned down to kiss the top of your head.
“Come on”, he murmured softly, shifting behind you and carefully standing up. Before you could protest, he effortlessly scooped you into his arms, cradling you against his chest. His strength was as familiar as it was comforting, and you nestled into him, your head resting on his shoulder as he carried you back toward the house.
You let out another yawn, barely able to keep your eyes open. Ben chuckled, glancing down at you as he made his way inside. “So, no happy engagement fucking tonight, huh?”, he teased, his voice low but filled with warmth.
You laughed, the sound soft and muffled as you nuzzled your face into his neck. “Not unless you want me to fall asleep halfway through”, you mumbled, your words trailing off as the exhaustion hit you full force.
Ben just shook his head, his smirk still lingering as he reached the bedroom. “I’ll take a rain check”, he said, his tone playful yet understanding. “For now, let’s just get you to bed”.
He gently laid you down on the bed, pulling the blankets over you as he brushed a hand through your hair. The tenderness in his actions was undeniable, and you felt safe, loved, and more content than you had in a long time.
Ben leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before he stretched out beside you, wrapping an arm around you protectively. “Get some rest”, he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. “We’ve got forever to celebrate”.
You smiled sleepily, your hand resting on his chest as you closed your eyes, feeling the warmth of him surrounding you. “Forever sounds perfect”, you whispered back before drifting off into a peaceful sleep, your heart full and your future bright.
The next morning, you woke up suddenly, your body jolting awake from a fresh wave of nausea that hit you out of nowhere. It had become rare and the sudden onset caught you by surprise. The room was still dim, the early morning light just beginning to filter through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the bed where Ben lay sleeping, his arm draped protectively over the empty space where you had just been.
Not wanting to wake him, you carefully slipped out from under the covers and made your way to the bathroom as quickly as your body would allow. The nausea was strong, and you barely made it in time, gripping the sink for support as you fought to control the urge to vomit.
The coolness of the bathroom tile against your bare feet grounded you slightly, but the nausea didn’t subside. You found yourself hunched over the toilet, your breath shaky as you waited for the feeling to pass.
After a few minutes, the worst of it seemed to be over, but your body felt drained and weak. You sat down on the edge of the bathtub, closing your eyes and taking slow, steady breaths to calm yourself.
Just then you looked up to see Ben standing there, concern etched on his sleepy face. His hair was tousled, and he was still shirtless, the faint glow of the morning light making him look softer, more vulnerable than usual.
“What’s going on?”, he asked, his voice still thick with sleep but filled with worry. He moved toward you, kneeling down in front of you and gently placing a hand on your knee. “You okay?”.
You nodded, managing a small smile despite how awful you felt. “Yeah… just a little morning surprise”, you muttered, resting a hand on your stomach as you leaned back slightly. “It’s been a while since I’ve had one of these nausea waves”.
Ben frowned, his brow furrowed with concern as he gently brushed a stray lock of hair from your face. “You sure you’re alright? You look pale. Like a fucking corpse”.
“I’m fine”, you reassured him, though your voice wavered a little. “Just caught me off guard, that’s all”.
Ben stayed there on the bathroom floor with you for a moment longer, his hand still resting on your knee as if he didn’t want to let go until he was sure you were really okay. Finally, he stood up and reached for a glass of water from the sink, handing it to you.
“Drink this”, he said softly, his voice more serious now.
You took the glass of water from Ben's hand, but before you could even bring it to your lips, the nausea hit you again—hard and sudden, like a tidal wave. Your stomach twisted painfully, and without warning, you lurched forward, barely managing to push the glass back into Ben's hand as you leaned over the toilet once more.
Ben was instantly by your side, his hands steadying you, rubbing small circles on your back as you heaved, the sickness overwhelming you.
"Hey, hey", Ben muttered softly, his voice full of concern as he crouched beside you again, his hand still resting on your back. "Take it easy. Just breathe. I've got you".
You tried to focus on his voice, letting it calm you as you struggled to catch your breath. The sickness slowly began to subside once more, but the exhaustion that followed left you feeling weak and shaky. You collapsed back against the cool tiles, your head resting against the wall as you closed your eyes.
Ben wiped a few stray strands of hair from your face, his expression still filled with concern as he knelt beside you. "This doesn't seem normal", he muttered, more to himself than to you.
You took a deep breath, trying to settle the queasiness in your stomach. "It's normal", you said weakly, your voice barely above a whisper. "Just… hasn't happened in a while".
Ben didn’t look convinced, his jaw tightening as he stared at you, his hand still resting protectively on your shoulder. “I think we should call the doctor, just to be safe”.
You opened your eyes, giving him a reassuring smile. "It's just one of those pregnancy things. I’ll be fine, really".
Ben sighed but nodded reluctantly. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “Alright, but if it happens again, we’re calling. No arguments”.
You nodded, feeling the warmth of his kiss calm you a bit.
After what felt like an eternity of sitting on the cold bathroom floor, Ben helped you to your feet with gentle care, his hand never leaving your waist as he guided you back towards the bed. You leaned into him, your body still weak and shaky from the nausea, but his presence made everything feel a little bit easier.
Once you reached the bed, Ben carefully pulled the covers back and helped you lie down, tucking the blankets around you with a tenderness that made your heart swell.
"You should sleep a bit more", Ben murmured, his voice low and soothing as he brushed a hand through your hair. “Rest. You need it".
You smiled weakly, your body already sinking into the softness of the mattress. "Only if you stay with me", you whispered, your hand reaching out to touch his.
Ben chuckled softly, shaking his head as he pulled the covers up a bit higher around you. “I’m not going anywhere”, he said, his hand squeezing yours before he leaned down to press a kiss to your forehead.
You closed your eyes, already feeling the exhaustion tugging at you. The warmth of Ben's presence, combined with the familiar comfort of the bed, made it easy to relax. You could hear him moving around the room softly, getting ready to lie down beside you.
Within moments, Ben was there, sliding in next to you under the covers. His arm wrapped around you protectively, pulling you close so that your head rested on his chest. The steady rise and fall of his breathing soothed you, and with each breath, you felt yourself drifting further into a peaceful sleep.
A few hours later, you were both still nestled together in the quiet of the morning. Ben had dozed off as well.
That is, until a sudden, hard kick jolted you awake. It was strong—stronger than anything you’d felt before—and it startled you out of your sleep. You gasped, quietly crying out as your eyes flew open. Ben stirred beside you, immediately alert, as his arm, resting across your belly, felt the powerful movement too.
The force of the baby’s kick had actually lifted Ben’s arm slightly, and for a brief second, you both froze in the shared realization of what had just happened. Another kick followed, just as hard, and this time it made your belly visibly shift under Ben’s arm.
“Whoa”, Ben muttered, still half-asleep but wide-eyed now, his hand instinctively moving back to your belly to feel more of the movement. “That’s… that’s strong”.
You took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as you tried to breathe through the slight discomfort from the powerful kicks. It wasn’t exactly painful, but it had definitely taken you by surprise. You glanced down, seeing Ben’s large hand resting protectively on your belly, his fingers splayed as if trying to calm the movements within.
His voice, still rough with sleep but filled with concern, broke the silence. “You okay?”, he asked softly, his eyes searching your face for any sign of distress.
You nodded, offering him a small, reassuring smile. “Yeah”, you whispered. “Just wasn’t expecting it to be so strong”.
He was watching you closely, his brow furrowed slightly as though still on edge. “You sure?”, he pressed, his voice soft but full of concern. “That was… a lot”.
“I’m fine”, you assured him, your smile growing a little wider. “It’s just… he´s definitely not shy about making his presence known”.
Though you reassured him with your words and smile, Ben didn’t seem entirely convinced. His hand lingered on your belly, still tracing slow, soothing circles, but you could feel the tension in his touch. He wasn’t as relaxed as you were about it, and even though he hadn’t said anything else, you could tell the intensity of the baby’s kicks had him more worried than he was letting on.
He leaned back slightly, his brow still furrowed, his eyes darting from your face to your belly, as if expecting another strong movement any second. The protective side of him, always so present, was in full force now, and it was clear he was trying to process what had just happened.
Ben stayed quiet for a moment, his thumb brushing over your skin absentmindedly. His silence said more than words could; you could feel the undercurrent of concern rolling off him. He was thinking about something, probably a hundred different things at once.
Finally, you broke the silence, placing your hand gently over his, grounding him. “Ben, really, it’s okay. The doctor said this would happen as the baby gets bigger. It’s normal”.
Ben sighed heavily, his gaze dropping from your face to your belly once again. His thumb continued to stroke gently, but his brow remained furrowed, deep in thought. “It’s not just a normal baby”, he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. “He’s half me”.
You frowned slightly, trying to understand where he was coming from, though you could sense the weight of what he wasn’t saying. There was fear behind his eyes—fear that went beyond the usual worry of a first-time father. It wasn’t just about the strength of the baby’s kicks or the intensity of the pregnancy. Ben was afraid of something deeper, something only he would understand.
“What if…”. He paused, the words seeming to catch in his throat. “What if he’s too strong? What if he—”.
“Ben, listen to me”, you said softly but firmly, making sure he was focused on your words. “We’ve talked to the doctors, and they’ve reassured us. Everything’s fine. Our baby is fine”.
His eyes met yours, filled with that deep, protective instinct you’d grown to know so well. “But what if he hurts you?”, Ben’s voice cracked slightly, betraying the fear that he rarely let anyone see. “He’s got my blood. My strength. I don’t want you getting hurt because of me. Because of him”.
You squeezed Ben’s hand a little tighter, your voice soft but steady as you met his worried gaze. “That’s why there’s the V medication, Ben”, you whispered, your tone gentle but firm. “If the baby starts getting too strong, if anything feels off, we’ll start the medication. We have options”.
Ben’s eyes searched yours, his jaw clenched in frustration and worry. You could tell he wasn’t fully convinced, that the thought of his child—his blood—possibly causing harm was something he was struggling to accept. But he didn’t say anything, letting your words sink in as you continued to speak, your voice calm and soothing.
“We’ve planned for this”, you reminded him. “We talked to the doctors, we have everything in place. If there’s any sign of trouble, we’ll do whatever we need to keep both me and the baby safe”.
Ben exhaled slowly, the tension in his body gradually loosening. He nodded, though you could still see the flicker of doubt in his eyes. “I just… I don’t want to put you at risk".
You leaned forward and pressed your lips gently against his, cutting off his words before he could continue. The kiss was soft but firm, a way of grounding him, of reminding him that you were here, that you were safe. For a moment, Ben hesitated, his body tense beneath your touch, but slowly, you felt him relax. His hand slid around your waist, pulling you closer, his kiss deepening as he gave in to the moment.
When you finally pulled back, you kept your forehead pressed against his, your breath mingling with his as you whispered, “Stop thinking the worst. I’m here, and so is our baby. We’re okay, Ben”.
He closed his eyes for a moment, his grip on you tightening slightly as if he needed that reassurance, needed to feel your presence more than ever.
With that, Ben shifted, gently pulling you on top of him as he laid back against the pillows. His arms wrapped around you protectively, holding you close as if he could shield you from the world. But as he moved, the sudden shift made you feel slightly dizzy. You blinked, your head spinning for a moment, and Ben immediately noticed, his concern returning in an instant.
“You good?”, he asked as his hands steadied you, making sure you weren’t going to faint. He tilted his head to get a better look at your face, his brow furrowed with concern.
You smiled softly, placing a hand on his chest to steady yourself. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just a little lightheaded, probably from everything this morning”. You took a deep breath, willing the dizziness to pass. “I just need a second”.
Ben’s hand brushed gently over your back as he watched you closely. “You sure? You need to lie back down?”.
You shook your head, the dizziness slowly fading. “No, I’m okay now”, you assured him, leaning down to press another soft kiss to his lips. “Just need to take it slow”.
Just as you finished speaking, you felt another slight wobble, your body tipping ever so slightly to the side. Ben’s hands tightened around your waist instinctively, steadying you once more. His brow furrowed even deeper, concern etched in every line of his face. “You definitely need to eat something, baby”, he murmured.
He slowly shifted, helping you sit up against the pillows without making you feel rushed. You knew he was right; the nausea from earlier had thrown you off, and you hadn’t eaten since.
You let out a small sigh, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, I guess so. I’ve just been feeling off all morning”.
Ben sat up beside you, already making plans. “You stay right here”, he said, brushing a soft kiss to your forehead. “I’ll go grab something quick for you. Something light, so it doesn’t upset your stomach again”.
You tried to protest. “Ben, I can—”.
But he cut you off, raising a brow. “No arguments”, he said firmly. “You’re not moving until you get some food in you. I’ll be right back”.
With that, he gently tucked the blankets around you and made his way out of the room.
As Ben left the room, you leaned back against the pillows, closing your eyes for a moment, trying to steady yourself. The dizziness still lingered slightly, and you couldn’t shake the unsettling feeling that had been hanging over you all morning. You pressed a hand to your forehead, taking slow, deep breaths to calm yourself, but nothing seemed to fully ease the discomfort.
After what felt like an eternity but was probably only a few minutes, you heard Ben’s footsteps approaching again. When you opened your eyes, you saw him standing in the doorway, holding a small tray with some crackers, fruit, and your vitamins. His expression was tense, his brow furrowed as he watched you carefully.
“You alright?”, he asked softly, setting the tray down on the bedside table before sitting next to you on the bed. There was a protective edge to his voice, a mix of concern and frustration at the situation—at not being able to immediately fix whatever was making you feel so off.
You tried to smile, but it felt weak. “I don’t know. I just… feel weird. Off”.
Ben’s jaw tightened, and he nodded, clearly worried. He reached for the crackers, gently handing you one. “Start with this".
You took the cracker, nibbling at it slowly as Ben’s watchful eyes remained on you, monitoring every little movement. You could feel the weight of his concern, and it made you want to put him at ease, even though you didn’t feel like yourself.
After a few moments of silence, Ben sighed heavily. “I don’t like this”, he muttered, his voice quiet but filled with tension. “You shouldn’t be feeling this bad”.
You didn’t say anything in response to Ben’s words because, deep down, you couldn’t deny that you were feeling off—more than you’d care to admit. The nausea had been unsettling enough, but now, with the dizziness and the strange, persistent sense of unease, it was harder to brush off.
Taking another small bite of the cracker, you chewed slowly, trying to focus on anything but the way your body felt out of sync. Ben stayed quiet next to you, his hand resting on your thigh, offering silent support. The weight of his presence grounded you, but you knew he was on edge, waiting for you to feel better.
After a few bites and a sip of water, you swallowed hard and leaned back against the pillows, closing your eyes again. “I just need to give it a minute”, you mumbled, more to yourself than to Ben, though you knew he was listening intently.
He nodded, his hand moving up to gently stroke your arm. “Yeah, take your time. Don’t rush it”, he murmured, his voice softer now, though the tension hadn’t fully left him. He was trying to stay calm for you, but you could feel his worry radiating from him. His hand rested on your belly again, a familiar gesture that had become second nature to him, as if he could somehow protect both you and the baby with his touch.
Minutes passed, and you focused on breathing, willing the dizziness to subside. The fruit on the tray caught your eye, and you slowly reached for a piece, hoping that the light, fresh food might help settle your stomach. Ben watched you closely, his brow furrowed, and you could tell he was holding back the urge to ask again if you were okay.
After taking a few more bites, you managed a small smile in Ben’s direction. “I think… I’m starting to feel a little better”, you said, though the unease still lingered at the back of your mind.
Ben’s eyes softened, but he didn’t let up. “Good. But we’re not doing anything until you feel completely back to normal. And if this keeps up…”. He trailed off, his jaw tightening again, the unspoken suggestion of calling the doctor hanging between you.
You nodded, understanding that he was just looking out for you, even though you didn’t want to admit that something might be wrong. “I know. Let’s just see how I feel in a bit”, you said softly, leaning into his touch for comfort.
After a few more minutes of quietly sitting beside you, watching you fight off the lingering dizziness, Ben finally coaxed you to lay back down. It wasn’t long before you drifted off into another fitful sleep, your body clearly needing the rest. Ben stayed close the entire time, his protective instincts taking over. He didn’t leave your side, not even to grab a bite for himself. Every now and then, his hand would rest gently on your belly, feeling for any signs that the baby was okay, and his eyes never strayed far from your face, watching your chest rise and fall with each slow breath.
The hours ticked by slowly, the day passing into late noon as the sun hung lazily in the sky outside the window.
It wasn’t until the familiar pressure in your bladder stirred you awake that you finally opened your eyes again. You blinked groggily, the world around you slowly coming back into focus. The discomfort was undeniable, and you shifted slightly in bed, realizing you needed to get to the bathroom—quickly.
Ben noticed immediately that you were waking up. He leaned forward, his eyes scanning your face for any signs of distress. "Hey, you’re up. How’re you feeling?".
You managed a small smile, though the pressure in your bladder made you wince slightly. "I’m okay, just… need to pee", you said, your voice still a little rough from sleep.
Ben immediately moved to help you sit up, his hands gentle but firm. "Easy there", he murmured, his arm around your waist as he guided you up carefully. "You want me to help you?".
You shook your head softly, though you appreciated the offer. "No, I can manage. Just need to get up".
Ben watched you closely as you stood, making sure you were steady on your feet. "Alright, but call me if you need anything", he said, not taking his eyes off you as you made your way toward the bathroom.
Once inside, you sighed in relief as you finally addressed the pressure in your bladder, though the lingering dizziness from earlier had subsided. You still felt a bit off, but nothing as bad as it had been that morning.
When you stepped out of the bathroom, Ben was still standing near the bed, watching you closely. "You want to try eating something?".
You nodded, feeling like your body might finally be ready for some food. "Yeah, I think so", you said softly, making your way back to the bed. "I’m sorry I’ve been such a mess today".
Ben just rolled his eyes, before he reached for the tray of fruit and crackers, still waiting from earlier, and handed it to you. As you started nibbling on the food again, you could feel Ben’s gaze on you, his worry not fading completely but softening now that you were starting to look more like yourself again.
After a while, the food was gone, and though you felt better, there was still a slight hunger gnawing at you. You wiped your hands on a napkin and glanced over at Ben, who had been sitting close to you the entire time, watching you carefully.
You looked up at him, smiling softly. “So… what did you eat while I slept?”, you asked, your tone light but curious. “Any leftovers for me?”.
“Didn’t eat anything”, he muttered, shrugging a little. “I wasn’t about to leave you alone when you were feeling like that”.
You blinked, your heart giving a little tug at the thought of him staying by your side the whole time without even grabbing a bite for himself. “Ben…”, you started, feeling a bit guilty now that you knew he hadn’t eaten either.
He waved a hand dismissively. “I’m fine. I’ll grab something later”.
You shook your head, determined. “No, we’re both eating. Now”, you said firmly, sitting up straighter. “I can still eat, and you definitely need to”.
Ben chuckled softly at your insistence, his eyes softening as he watched you sit up a bit straighter, clearly not taking no for an answer. “Alright, alright”, he muttered with a smirk, reaching into his pocket to pull out his phone. “I’ll order something”.
The next day, you felt a world of difference from how you had the previous morning. You woke up with an unusual amount of energy, and Ben could see the shift in your mood right away. There was a lightness in the air between the two of you as you strolled through the small, charming town, browsing the various little shops at your request.
Ben kept a protective but relaxed arm around you as you moved from store to store, enjoying the simple pleasures of the day. The town was quiet and picturesque, and the combination of fresh air and sunshine was doing wonders for your spirit. But more than that, something had changed in your appetite too.
You couldn't seem to get enough food. By now, it was barely 1 pm, and you’d already devoured a fruit salad, two buttery croissants, a smoothie, and an ice cream cone. Every time you passed another café or shop, your stomach growled with interest.
Ben raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by your sudden shift in cravings. “You’re really making up for yesterday, huh?”, he teased, watching as you eyed a bakery display with longing.
You laughed, shrugging playfully. “I can’t help it! The baby’s hungry, I guess”.
He smirked, shaking his head as you pulled him towards another café. “Baby’s hungry, huh? And you just happen to be along for the damn ride?”.
You grinned up at him, playfully nudging his side. “Hey, growing a supe takes a lot of energy. We need snacks, Ben. Lots of them”.
Ben chuckled, but his eyes softened as he watched you. He loved seeing you this way—happy, healthy, and full of life. “Alright”, he said, holding up his hands in mock surrender. “Let’s get you whatever you want”.
You practically pulled Ben inside the next shop, your eyes lighting up as you immediately spotted a display of fresh pastries. The warm, sweet aroma hit you the moment you walked in, and you felt your stomach rumble in anticipation. Ben followed closely behind, his hand resting on your lower back as he watched you with a mixture of amusement and affection.
The shop was cozy and inviting, with shelves lined with freshly baked bread, delicate pastries, and all kinds of sweet treats. You didn’t hesitate, making a beeline for the counter and eyeing the selection with a gleam in your eye.
“Okay, I’m definitely getting one of those”, you said, pointing to a golden, flaky pastry filled with cream. “And maybe one of those chocolate croissants”.
Ben chuckled behind you, crossing his arms as he leaned against the counter. “You’re really not holding back today”.
You turned to him with a playful grin, your eyes twinkling. “Nope! I told you, the baby wants snacks. And so do I”.
He rolled his eyes, but the smile on his face betrayed how much he was enjoying seeing you so happy and full of energy. “Alright, sweetheart. Whatever you and the baby need”.
The cashier came over, and you placed your order with enthusiasm. Ben stood beside you, watching as you happily picked out your pastries and a drink to go with them. You caught his smirk and nudged him gently. “Don’t act like you’re not enjoying this”, you teased.
Ben shook his head, laughing softly. “I’m just glad you’re feeling better. Yesterday, I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it through without another fucking scare”.
You smiled softly at his words, reaching out to take his hand. “I’m fine now, Ben. Promise. Just hungry”.
He squeezed your hand, his thumb brushing over your knuckles. “Yeah, I can see that”, he teased. “Good thing we’re on vacation, huh? Plenty of time to stuff you with food”.
As the cashier handed you your bag of pastries, you gave Ben a quick kiss on the cheek. “See? It’s not so bad. You get to enjoy all the food with me”.
Ben chuckled again, shaking his head. “Yeah, but I think you might out-eat me at this rate”.
You grinned as you took a bite of the first pastry, savoring the sweet, creamy filling.
Ben just laughed, wrapping an arm around your shoulders as the two of you strolled out of the shop, ready to take on the rest of the day—filled with more food, more laughter, and more memories.
It didn’t even take an hour before you stopped again, this time in front of a burger restaurant. The smell of grilled meat and fried onions wafted through the air, instantly drawing you in. Ben eyed you suspiciously, his brow furrowing in confusion. To his knowledge, you weren’t usually a huge burger fan, but today? It seemed like all bets were off.
You gave him a mischievous smile as you approached the door, pulling him along with you. “I know what you’re thinking”, you teased, casting a quick glance over your shoulder. “But don’t even say it”.
Ben followed you inside, his arms crossed and his brow still raised in mock skepticism. “You usually avoid burgers like the fucking plague”, he said with a playful groan. “But now you’re dragging me in here like you’ve been dreaming about it for weeks”.
You groaned softly, shaking your head as you sat down at the table, still feeling that lingering craving for all things savory and greasy. “Ugh, I know”, you mumbled, looking over the menu with wide eyes. “But today, everything smells so good, so intense. I can’t help it”.
Ben chuckled, leaning back in his chair, arms crossed as he watched you. “It’s like you’ve got super-smell now”, he teased, clearly amused by how out of character your appetite was today. “First pastries, then fruit, now burgers? What’s next?”.
Just as Ben said it, teasing you about your super-smell, both of you froze. There was a beat of silence, and then your eyes met his, widening slightly as the realization hit you at the same time. You could feel the air shift between you, an unspoken thought passing through both of your minds.
Ben sat up straighter, his playful expression shifting to something more serious.
You swallowed, your hand instinctively moving to rest on your belly. The baby. Could it be? You both knew that with Ben’s genetics, the baby might inherit some of his abilities, and now, with the heightened senses and cravings, it was hard not to wonder.
"Do you think…?", you started, trailing off as you struggled to put your thoughts into words.
Ben’s eyes narrowed slightly, the concern creeping back in. “I don’t know”, he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. “It’s possible, right? It’s in my blood. Maybe it’s starting to affect you”.
You took a deep breath, your mind racing. You hadn’t thought about it before, but now that Ben mentioned it, it made sense. “The doctors said something like this could happen, right?”, you said, your voice quiet but steady. “That some of your abilities might show through me during the pregnancy?”.
Ben nodded, though his expression remained tense. “Yeah, but I didn’t think it’d be this early”, he admitted, glancing down at your belly. “I thought we’d have more time before… you know, anything started happening”.
You bit your lip, unsure of what to make of it. It was strange, the idea of feeling something like this. “I mean, it’s not like I can suddenly lift cars or anything”, you joked softly, trying to lighten the mood. “It’s just stronger senses. That’s manageable”.
Ben didn’t laugh this time, though his expression softened slightly. “I know, but it’s still something we need to watch. You’ve gotta let me know if anything else feels… off, alright?”.
You nodded, trying to reassure him. “I will. But for now, I think it’s just me having some really intense cravings”.
Ben sighed, rubbing a hand over his face, clearly trying to push away the concern. “Alright”, he muttered, “but we’re keeping an eye on it. And we’ll talk to the doctor”.
You gave him a small smile, your hand resting on top of his. “I know”.
As the evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the beach, you and Ben sat on a blanket with three takeaway pizza boxes spread out in front of you. The sound of the waves gently crashing against the shore provided a peaceful soundtrack to the moment, and the warm, salty air felt perfect against your skin. Both of you were dressed in beachwear, with Ben in his swim shorts and you in a bikini that showcased your now prominent belly.
Your hands cradled a slice of pizza as you leaned back against Ben, who sat comfortably behind you, his legs on either side of you, providing the perfect support. His arms were draped casually around your shoulders, his fingers tracing absentminded circles on your skin. Despite the calm of the evening, there was a lightness to the moment, a shared contentment between you two as you enjoyed the simplicity of just being together.
“Three pizzas, huh? You sure the baby’s not half me and half pizza?”, Ben teased as he watched you eyeing the pizza boxes, your appetite still seemingly endless.
You laughed, leaning your head back against his chest, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. “Hey, don’t judge. I’m eating for two, remember?”, you replied, playfully bumping your shoulder against his. “And besides, it’s your kid in there—so, really, this craving for pizza is your fault”.
Ben chuckled, his deep voice rumbling through your back as he tightened his arms around you, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. “Yeah, yeah, I’ll take the blame”, he said, his tone full of affection.
As you took another bite of pizza, your belly moved slightly, and you felt a soft kick against your side. You smiled, placing a hand on your belly and nudging Ben with your elbow. “Guess the baby approves of the pizza too”, you said, feeling another light flutter beneath your hand.
Ben's eyes lit up, his hand moving to rest on top of yours as he felt the gentle movement. His face softened as he leaned down to kiss your shoulder. “Of course he does”.
The two of you sat there, watching the sun dip lower, the sky turning shades of pink and orange. The evening was warm, peaceful, and filled with the quiet joy of these moments together—moments where the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you, the baby, and the pizza.
“You know”, Ben said after a moment, his voice soft as he gazed out at the ocean, “I didn’t think I could feel this… normal. Sitting here with you, eating pizza..”.
“It is perfect”, you whispered, resting your head back against his chest, savoring every second of this quiet, beautiful evening together.
With a soft smile, you grabbed a slice of Ben’s pizza, holding it up toward. “Here, you deserve some more”, you teased, glancing up at him with playful eyes. “Can’t have you just sitting here and watching me eat all of it”.
Ben chuckled, his arms tightening around your waist as he reached for the slice, his fingers brushing lightly against yours. “I’ll take it”, he said with a smirk before taking a big bite, chewing thoughtfully as his gaze drifted back to the ocean.
“Now you’re even feeding me?”.
You grinned, shrugging as you leaned further into his warmth. “Maybe I’m just practicing for when the baby gets here”, you replied, a bit of humor in your tone. “Gotta keep both my boys well-fed, right?”.
Ben raised an eyebrow, his signature smirk growing wider as he leaned in closer to you. “Oh, so now you’re thinking it’s a boy too, huh?”, he teased, his tone playful but with that familiar edge of cockiness. “I thought you were convinced we were having a girl”.
You laughed softly, nudging him with your elbow as you handed him the rest of the slice. “I’m still not sure”, you said, shaking your head. “But you’ve been so confident, it’s starting to rub off on me”.

Comfort
Note: Hello, loves! I guess I disappeared again 😭 I'm sorry, there's been a lot going on these past few weeks, and I wasn’t feeling very well. This is my way of making it up to you ❤❤ I'm still working on the second part of "Shadows and Whispers", but I got sidetracked, and something totally out of my element came out of it. I’m really sorry if this turns out to be a mess, I’ve never written anything obscene and explicit before, so feel free to tell me if it’s terrible! Remember, English isn’t my first language, so if there are any mistakes, don’t hesitate to let me know! Please take care of yourself! Love you all! 💙💙💙
P.S. I didn’t tag anyone because I wasn’t really sure if you’d want it, especially after disappearing for almost a month. Sorry 😭😭

Summary: Reader goes to comfort Azriel after he's returned from a mission. However, things take a turn, and somehow she finds herself in a sinful situation with the shadowsinger.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I still didn't understand how the hell I had ended up in this situation.
Or rather, how I had ended up in this position.
My intentions in arriving at Az were completely genuine and innocent. I knew him well enough to know that he was absolutely frustrated with how the mission had ended, just as I also knew that he would try to hide his feelings because that was his way of dealing with everything.
When I arrived at the River House, I found him sitting at the foot of the bed with his elbows resting on his knees and his hands tangled in his dark hair. He was so out of it that he didn't even lift his head when he heard me enter and he didn't bother to pick up his wings either, a strong indicator of his mood.
Seeing him like this made my heart ache, and the urge to comfort him took hold of me, so I didn't even think when my feet carried me directly in front of him. Somehow, I sneaked my hand in and gently placed it on his cheek, forcing him to look up. His shadows were scattered and restless.
I wasn't ready for what I found in his hazel eyes: loneliness and resignation. He didn't even try to hide it from me, and that was what scared me the most. I was prepared to face the big wall he put up when something emotional was involved, but I wasn't ready for the honest vulnerability that hit me like a blow to the cheek.
"Aziel..." I let out with a shaky sigh.
He shook his head and for a second my body went rigid as I felt his arms wrap tightly around my waist and rest his head on my stomach. I reacted and instinctively placed one hand on his back, in the middle of his wings, and the other in his hair, scraping gently with my nails. In response, a shiver ran through him, and I stopped my movements abruptly.
"No" It was the first thing I heard him say since I had entered "Please... Just... continue."
I nodded even though I knew he wasn't looking at me and resumed my movements. He relaxed against me and settled his head higher, right between my breasts. HIS shadows calmed down then, and limited themselves to passing through us occasionally.
"Az..." I tried again.
“Y/n…” he interrupted me, pressing himself tighter against my body. "I need this right now. Just... tell me to stop if you don't want it."
I didn't stop him, and he decided to explore a little more, brushing his nose against the edge of my breasts, making me shiver. One of his hands that was on my waist went down to my ass and squeezed hard, but at the same time slowly, as if he wanted to melt into my skin.
A gasp of surprise escaped my lips when I felt him place soft kisses on my breasts, near the nipples, covered only by an old shirt that was too big for me. He put it in his mouth, wetting the shirt, making my hands fly straight to his hair, tangling and pulling gently. A grunt of approval came from Azriel, and all logical thought vanished from my mind, leaving me completely blank and a prisoner of sensations.
His hands became bolder reaching for one of my perfectly fitting breasts and he squeezed, making me gasp.
"You're so beautiful" he said breathily and pulled my shirt up over my head.
My breasts were exposed, and directly at the height of his lips, so he did not hesitate to put them in his mouth. I just arched my back, delighted in the way he made me feel even though I knew this was wrong. Az was very vulnerable right now and it was a miracle that he was showing me this side of him.
That thought hit me like a bucket of cold water and brought my feet back to earth.
"Az," I called after a moment. "We can't..." I gasped as I felt him pull my nipple between his lips. "Listen, I don't think this is a good idea..."
"I need to feel you close. I need to know that you are here with me," he pleaded in a tone of voice I had never heard before, "Making you feel good will make me feel good."
"But I don't want you to think that I'm taking advantage..."
"I need this. I need you" he interrupted me.
That took my breath away and the way he looked like I was his only lifeline made me give in, so I finally nodded.
The shadowsinger rewarded me by leaving a wet kiss on my neck before separating for a moment to unbutton his leathers and reveal all his glory. I didn't hold back and gently touched his skin, trying to convey everything I felt through those caresses, trying to tell him that I was there for him and from the way he tensed where my fingers passed, I assumed he could understand it. I even brushed the edge of one of his wings and he shivered violently, not hiding the low moan that escaped.
His hands moved down to unbutton my shorts without leaving soft kisses combined with licks on my neck. I dug my nails carefully into his back, avoiding the membranes, and he let out a hoarse moan that went deep into my bones. He slowly slid my pants down caressing my legs in the process and then helped me out of them once they hit the carpet beneath my feet.
That's how I was left in nothing but panties in front of Azriel, who was looking at me like I was the only damn person in his life that he had ever wanted. I didn't feel self-conscious under his scrutiny, on the contrary, I had the feeling that he was memorizing me.
“Y/n” he called with rapid breathing “You are beautiful, fucking beautiful.”
His words also had more meaning, I realized. It was the second time he had told me this tonight and somehow, he managed to warm my heart.
The shadowsinger manipulated my body to his liking, so he gave me one last open-mouthed kiss right over my heart before turning me over, leaving me on my back now. I felt him fill my spine with kisses and hook his fingers on my panties, slowly lowering them until he left a kiss on my lower back that made me shudder.
Completely naked, she took me by the waist to place me on his lap. I could feel his hardness beneath me, and he hissed when I ground my hips together.
I was sitting in the middle of his legs, until he hooked one of his hands and put one of my legs over his, so that I was wedged over it, although I still rested my back on his chest.
Then he hugged me, imprisoning me in his arms and hiding his face in my neck. His hands then went down, directly to my center, and he began to touch me with gentle movements, slow caresses on the clitoris that made me gasp. A moan escaped from the back of my throat as I felt his fingers slide into my folds and curve them deliciously.
"That's it honey, let me hear you" he whispered in my ear.
He repeated the movement, and my body went crazy when he added another finger. Everything was slow and felt completely different, it felt more intimate, fuller of feeling. His fingers worked magic inside me while he caressed my clit with his thumb. It was too much, and I figured Az could sense it because he sped up his movements.
Another moan escaped my lips as one movement pushed me over the edge and the orgasm rippled through me making me tremble, sweeping through everything. Azriel did not stop his hands, prolonging the sensation and supporting all my weight, since I had practically collapsed on top of him.
After a few seconds, he did something that left me gasping, partly from the orgasm he just gave me, and partly from the sensual sight. He took his fingers out of me, not caring in the least about the mess, and sucked on them, looking into my eyes before resting his forehead against mine.
"Az" I whispered in between a gasp.
He lunged at my lips and there are no words to describe the way he kissed me. It was messy, a combination of tongue and teeth, but it felt perfect, like once in a lifetime, everything fit together.
I walked away after a moment, to catch my breath, and he grimaced as if it physically hurt him not to be around, to which I responded by standing up and climbing up behind him, only this time who hid his face in his neck. It was me, absolutely enjoying the skin-to-skin contact and the way he held me close to his bare chest and mine.
Az didn't care about the mess I was probably making on his leathers still wearing my fluids. He didn't seem interested in any of that.
"Thank you for staying," he said after a moment, wrapping his wings around us.
"You have nothing to thank me for," I responded, taking his face in my hands. "How are you feeling?"
"Good, now that you're here." He responded and for emphasis, one of his shadows caressed my arm with a cold touch, making me smile.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked as I ran a finger over the membrane of his wing again.
A shudder consumed him along with a gasp and he rested his head on my shoulder.
"Not yet"
I nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck. Trying to give him comfort beyond words and show him that she was here with him. Not anywhere else.
