having a cat with fucked up weird eyes that are hyperreflective and constantly dilated is fun because it can be almost pitch black in my room, only the light of my phone screen and the moon through the window, and then out of the corner of my eye ill see two fucking Green Orbs staring at me bc oolongs eyes reflect so much light that they look like theyre actively glowing

#literally one time she was positioned perfectly for some of the normal overhead room lighting to reflect off the back reflective layer and-#-back out of her eye enough to be like. creating a little green patch of light on the side of her nose??? was so weird to see #i dont know exactly whats wrong with her but i know she was about 5 or 6 months old when i got her and her eyes were already weird #from my research the hyperreflectivity tends to indicate progressive retinal atrophy but it would be weird for it to blind her before 6mo...#but it doesnt seem to bother her and i dont have the money to get her eyes checked out so shes jsut my blind baby <3 #.pdf #rd
