What I wanted from season 2 is a man who finally meets his destined child and goes feral while protecting her. I’ve got everything I’ve wanted. Single minded focus, gentleness, allergy to fun, anxiety, growling, protecting, shielding, teaching, sighing, tending to her wounds, gentle scolding, putting her above everything and everyone else. I wanted him to say “mine” and he said it. 

Now when I’ve got it, I am lost. Isn’t it a bit too early to make Geralt a knight in shining armour? And I am not being funny. His Geralt is perfect. Not once he sways from that path of a protector and a parent. Ciri adores him. Ciri loves him. The only time he is a little bit playful is in episode 1 when he tells her: I won’t let anything happen to you. So... He can be... Alive. It has the most beautiful effect on Ciri.

It is not my place to talk about Henry’s sexuality or anything else, but he has no chemistry on screen with any woman. If you’ve seen it, please tell me where. It is only a beginning of the story and Geralt is already a tool of destiny. They don’t let him bath, joke the way he really can, we know he can, fuck, doubt, fail. And I am sure that most of it are Henry’s brightest ideas. 

All those muscles and incredible physique is actually for killing monsters. Henry has his own vision of all those things and we will suffer for it lol They are bound by a magic, a wish with Yen. And yet what we get is a softest kiss, really great longing looks and nothing else. When Ciri, as a clever girl that she is, says: I’m going to sleep/read/eat you guys can fuck, Yen stands up to help her find the way. When they’re finally alone, Geralt says: I’m going to find Ciri.

Now of course not all the Witchers are horny bastards:

And I know they are all in huge distress. But I couldn’t take my eyes off Anya, because her Yen is alive. She is angry and empty and kind and lost and bad. And yet her character is so so perfect. She has chemistry with EVERY man. That sweet elf that told her she was beautiful using a sign language? Sparkles. But when they’re with Geralt, I want to cry.

Joey has chemistry with the mouse, he can pull any scene, and he does that with Henry too. But if you compare their new found frienship/affection with Yen, we are back to square one again.

Again, perhaps there’s just not enough time for that chemistry to appear. But I am sure that Henry is just like the love of my life Ridley Scott who thinks love scenes are a complete waste of time. 

He looks so gorgeous in that black armour on that most stunning horse, saving his girl, making everything right. The way he killed that... Dinosaur (?) Kaiju? (lol) in the last episode on his own, was so so hot. He looks ethereal, unhuman, cold and so so distant, which is great. And there are so many things that I adore about him in the season 2. But I wish he/Lauren would understand that it’s not what I want lol he can be perfect knight and protector and bla bla by also being grumpy funny sweet Geralt that can laugh, can want, fuck, be cocky and boyish, flirty and anxious, and still be perfect as they want him to be.

I make no sense, but this job obviously means everything to him. I am sure he’ll figure it out)
