Importance of Friday in Islam

"Friday" in Arabic is al-jumu'ah, which means congregation. On Fridays, Muslims assemble for an exceptional congregational prayer in the early evening, which is expected of every Muslim man. This Friday prayer is known as salaat al-jumu'ah which would thus be able to mean either "congregational supplication" or "Friday supplication." It replaces the dhuhr prayer around the early afternoon. Straightforwardly before this prayer, admirers tune in to a talk conveyed by the Imam or another strict pioneer from the network.
