that pic of nurse!kenta and patient!kim (using these names cause i can't remember what their names are in TLDHLB even tho I saw it like 15 mins ago-) gave me this vision of Kim waking up in the hospital high on sedatives and going 'is this heaven? are you angel? you're so pretty can i kiss you? is it ok to kiss angels? are angels allowed kiss?' on Kenta and Kenta sighing tiredly cause this isn't the first time a just-woken-up patient tried to flirt him when he's at the end of his shift and running low on patience and energy.

He briefly contemplates the ethics of inflicting violence upon a patient in his care.

(and thankfully resists the temptation cause 1)he likes his job 2)Kim's face is too pretty to be fucked up like that 3)murder is not cool and prison food sucks)

At the end of his hospital stay Kim somehow manages to get Kenta's number with all his negative-rizz glory. He's surprised. Kenta's surprised.

Kenta visits his house the next evening to 'show Kim proper care during recovery'. They end the night falling asleep on the couch with the movie still on.

Kenta starts visiting Kim's house every other day, cause Kim 'needs to be looked after as he heals', and slowly starts staying the night.

They go on a proper date 2 months later and Kim asks Kenta out 'properly', by stuttering a "I really like you. D-do you wanna, like, date me?"

Cue pikachu face kenta who thought they'd started dating a month ago when they kissed on Kim's doorway one morning when Kenta was leaving to go to the hospital and whining about how he's tired and didn't want to go to work that day.

A week later Kim is introducing Kenta to his friends (aka the rest of Pit Babe gang) as the person who took care of him during his recovery and is now also dating him, only for his friends to laugh and tell him they all know. (They'd seen Kenta hang around in Kim's house wayyy too many times when they visited+seen Kenta's stuff in the bathroom and the closet, and Alan had cried how his negative-rizz friend slash adopted child finally hitched up and he can worry less now.)

Even the friggin' twitter Tales community is clowning on that video, and that fandom over there is an absolute cesspool.

I'm sick and tired of this fandom's constant hating on this game. It gets way too much hyperbolic hate and criticism than it deserves, especially towards its story. Even some certain "fans" have been shitting on Arise for its writing and straight couples and even called the game "forgettable and random to those who played it" in that rant video's comments section.

Y'all haters are annoying as hell and have become exactly like the obnoxious nostalgia-blind purists over at the Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda fandoms. I can't wait until the next mainline Tales entry comes out so you'll move on to hating that game.
