i find ao interesting that you said you were not sure about suho having feelings for sieun. i always thought it was a case of suho felt first/quietly and sieun felt harder

Heyo! Wow I nearly forgot I said that🧎‍♀️‍➡️Thanks for your ask. My reason is: WHC1 directing made sure nobody really knew what Sieun and Suho were thinking, especially because both of them are people who don’t open up/make their feelings known beyond rudimentary conversation. Both are adept at hiding their emotions unless really pushed to their limits (aka during fights). This is most evident at their most intense conflict at Sieun’s door. They want to protect each other but are unwilling to talk.

The thing is if you think that Sieun is resistant to revealing himself, I would argue that Suho is even better than him at covering his true feelings. Sieun is actually a more open book due to his eyes. (Jihoon is such a great casting that I cannot get over.) It’s much easier to tell when he harbours positive feelings for another person because his eyes go round, shiny and sparkly, which he does often for Suho.

Suho on the other hand, he’s a frickin brick wall. He keeps his actions and words short&sweet, so much that if nobody squints, we cannot tell if he’s actually flirting or just being casual. Even if he does say things, his words are almost always in a teasing manner (derogatory or not) to anybody. Suho definitely cares for/likes Sieun, but I really can’t read him and his true feelings for the life of me, the same way I can definitely tell Sieun sees Suho with a deep affection. I don’t know if Suho’s feelings are platonic or romantic. In everyday terms, I’m getting… mixed signals? 🙃

There are times that I’m slightly sure Suho approached Sieun with non-platonic intentions. These are things that I have to extrapolate and be delulu about though: Suho actively seeks Sieun out + likes to have physical contact.

Him stuffing Sieun’s mouth with the ssam wrap (and nearly touching his mouth), going up to Sieun at the bus even though he could have chosen to drive past (and the fact that saw Sieun in the bus?? How aware of him do you need to be for this to happen 😭), the training session where he holds Sieun’s chin and basically indirectly babies him (squishing his cheeks 3x, like bro). And of course — I truly do feel this is the most non-platonic — when he picked Sieun up after cram school, put on the helmet for him and called him cute.

Other than these moments, realistically I feel like I don’t get enough hints that Suho likes Sieun as more than friends, because his personality is naturally brash and teasing. Perhaps (highly likely) he’s having trouble understanding his feelings for Sieun, unlike Sieun who is downright down bad. If anything, S2 just confirms how much he loves Suho such that even I cannot simply put a “romantic” tag on it.

But I mean, there’s still a reason why I’m shipping them — the tension between them in S1 is off the fucking charts, especially during the door scene at Sieun’s apartment. It feels remotely nothing platonic, definitely a soulmate level of tension (romance though idk).

Yep, that’s why I sometimes think that Suho sees Sieun as a friend only. 🚨Mixed signals lol. Canonically me thinks, boy is at the very least unsure about his feelings and at the most, scared of confessing. Which also, partially explains his very measured reaction to Sieun in S2E8. He’d have definitely woken up a day or two earlier before asking Sieun to see him and heard about the things Sieun did for him.

I must say that straight out of S2, the fact that Suho wears Sieun’s grey hoodie jacket while meeting him is still saying something. Saying what? I’m wearing my boyfriend’s shirt behaviour? I think I like you? Thank you? I dunno. Brutal truth is we’ll never know unless the directors decide to stop queerbaiting and make them an actual couple.

How are you? Compared to yesterday, I'm feeling a lot more grounded. I really needed this quiet day to myself to recalibrate.

What’s your preferred name? Hallie.

Have you ever sat under a bridge? I probably have at some point, but I don't recall any specific instance.

Do you ever go fishing or do you find it to be cruel? I haven't been fishing since I was a child. I would consider tagging along with others for the nature aspect, but I don't think I would participate. It's just not something that interests me.

What’s your favorite kind of donut? I don't think I have a definite favorite, but I do have a strong preference for simple glazed doughnuts.

When was the last time you went on a date? It's been years since I last went on a date.

What flowers look best in a bouquet? Idk.

Do you like chia pudding, if you���ve ever tried it? I've never tried it before.

Have you ever put the blame on someone for something that was your fault? Sure, or refused to see (or couldn't see) my contribution to a situation, etc. I don't really do that now, though.

Do you have trouble remembering people’s names? I'm okay at it. I try to make a habit of repeating people's names back to them when they tell me, and that tends to help them stick. However, I was introduced to a board member on my way out of the animal shelter yesterday afternoon, and I completely spaced her name. I think I'd recognize her face if I saw her again, though. The trick is to always be hospitable to strangers, lest they be board members in disguise. ;D

Do you separate your laundry or just throw it all in there and hope for the best? I just throw it all in and hope for the best. It's only failed me on a couple of occasions.

What is something you want? A spine would be nice. I think I might be reaching the point where it costs me more to be a doormat than it will to stand up for myself, so…we'll see.

Have you ever been in a castle? I've been to Bishop's Castle.

Can you sing well? Eh. I'm not terrible, but I wouldn't consider myself talented either.

Are you currently procrastinating? Not really. I should probably clean the upstairs bathroom, but I'll do that after lunch.

What all have you done here recently that you found to be fun? I went to see Inside Out 2 with my mom on Wednesday and I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Volunteering (despite my complaints, I still enjoy it; I think I'll enjoy it even more once/if Alex leaves - hopefully at the end of August). Playing with our "foster" kitten (I'm just calling him a foster for the time being, just in case we happen to find his home). Making art. Even going grocery shopping was pleasant - I love to see our favorite greeters/cashiers.

Do you ever like to watch the clouds? Omg, I almost toodled right off the road a few months ago because I was too busy marveling at the clouds. :') Now I'm just like, if you're so frickin' mesmerized, pull over and take a picture. It'll last longer and involve less paperwork.

Have you ever tried to make your own bread? I've made my own bread many times.

Have you ever shut your hand up in a door? Yeah, I shut my hand in the car door a few times as a child. I'm…glad I outgrew that…?

How did you get your last bruise? Probably from kneeling on the concrete floors at the animal shelter.

What makes you sensitive? Fatigue. Things seem so much worse when I'm far from well-rested. Better to reevaluate after a good night's sleep.

What’s a current trend you do not like? It's not exactly a trend (like a passing phase), but the rapid progression of technology. I'm not against progress, but I'm just having trouble keeping up and I feel like I'm slipping through the cracks of the relevant modern world. Everything is so digitally based and you guys, my phone is a fossil, an absolute fossil! D;

Have you ever stepped on glass barefoot? Yeah.

What’s your opinion on The Beatles? They're alright. I like some of their songs. They're more nostalgic to me than anything else.

What’s sitting on your dining room table currently? Lol, Powerade, chips, cat food, and disposable plates. Oh, and a pinecone centerpiece type of thing.

What do you hear right now? The swamp cooler, light traffic, and the sound of my typing.

Do you ever argue with people online? Nooo. I haven't done that for a long time.

Do you think it’s possible to fall in love with someone online? I don't really have an opinion on what's possible. One of my relationships did start off online, but we eventually met in person and I think that's when my feelings really started to develop.

Do you ever pluck your eyebrows? Just a few stray hairs here and there, nothing drastic. I just don't want to wind up with a unibrow.

Last time you ran into someone you know in public? I'm not sure.

What is for supper today? It will most likely be mixed veggies with sriracha sauce and a toasted cheese and jalapeno sandwich.

What is a tv show that you find annoying? Family Guy. I just can never get into that one. <- Same. I liked it when I was younger, but now shows like that are just…eh. Not my cup of tea.

Are you accident prone? I am pretty clumsy, but thankfully not really accident prone.

What did you last use a microwave or air fryer for? I've never used an air fryer before, but I microwaved a bowl of oatmeal earlier this morning.

What kinds of cereal do you have in your pantry/cupboard? Cheerios, Walmart brand Special K, and Premier Protein almond/chocolate flakes.

What’s the last thing you spent more than $20 on? Groceries.

What’s something you’ve owned for more than 10 years? Many of the things in my room are at least 10 years old.

New Stuff: A Housekeeping Post

Hey guys! I’m gonna be making some changes to my blog! The most important being the introduction of a New WIP: Pearl Thief. 

But we’ll get to that in a bit. Be patient children. 

I’ll also be changing my pen name and adding some things to my blog page, like WIP pages, changing the color, changing my Bio, little things like that. Now you’ll be able to just go to my WIP pages to find stuff, so that’s good!

My original pen name, Marker, was a good name for when I only had Alien Roommate to write. It was kinda dorky and silly, just like AR. But Pearl Thief is definitely a more serious story, not that AR doesn’t have it’s darker bits, but it’s not nearly as happy and sunny. So, in order to fit both the happy mood of AR, and the more somber mood of Pearl Thief, I’ve decided on the name Marko. It’s got part of the old, happy name, but sounds more serious, so it’s perfect!

Also the blog name won’t be Alien Roommate anymore, it’s gonna be something different, I just haven’t decided what. The url and profile will stay the same though!

OK, back to Pearl Thief, cuz I’m sure you’ve all be waiting with bated breath. I’ll be doing a WIP Intro post for Pearl Thief soon, but the basic idea is: Oh cool mermaids exist. But they live in a watery, hellish dystopia of pollution, so that’s less cool. BUT, they have ~magic~, so that’s gotta help somehow, right? RIGHT???

That’s it. That’s the whole plot. I mean I didn’t tell you about any characters but yep that’s it. Ta-freakin-Da. 

Pearl Thief is still in the planning stage rn, I haven’t really started writing yet. I’ve just been trying to figure out the magic system, the characters, the rules and society underwater, lots of worldbuilding in general, and eventually I’ll get to the actual plot. I’ve got an idea for what I want to happen, but so far the plot is just a few sentences in my notebook, and what I have in my character outlines. 

NEVERTHELESS! There will be a WIP Intro Post soon, as well as Character Intro Posts, and I’ll be sure to update on my progress with it every once in awhile. And of course, when I actually start writing it, there will be excerpts for you guys to read! I’ll make a tag list post as some point, but if you want to be tagged in the Pearl Thief WIP Intro Post you can send me an ask or message if you’d like!

“She’s so small,” Bucky was somewhere between incredulous and horrified as he looked at the tiny baby nestled against your breast. She looked so impossibly minuscule and fragile; suddenly every single worry in the world was at the forefront of his mind. How was he supposed to protect this newborn life, a life he helped create, when he still had moments of doubt in himself?

“Come here,” you whispered as you reached for his hand, gently beckoning for him to come closer. He hesitated slightly before nodding and coming closer, “it’s okay, my love. You have nothing to fear. I’m right here and so is she - she’s your daughter. Can you believe it? We made her...”

“What if...what if I hurt her?” he watched in awe as you stroked the newborn’s chubby little cheek. She already had a shock of dark hair and the sweetest little face. You swore that she had smiled at Bucky as soon as she laid eyes on him, “I don’t...”

“She’s not glass, Buck,” you motioned for him to sit down in the chair next to you, “it’ll be okay. I promise - I love you. Just hold her like we’ve practiced and it will all be fine.”

“Okay,” he agreed softly, swallowing the nervous lump in his throat. You shifted as gently as you could, trying your best not to wake her up as you passed her to Bucky. He was stiff as a mouse as he gingerly took her in his arms and let her rest against his chest. She made a small sound for a moment, wiggling slightly and he immediately panicked. But she quickly settled back down, “is she okay...”

“Of course,” you put your hand on his cheek, stroking it gently, trying to get him to calm down. Bucky had forgotten to breath for a moment, so choked up as he studied your daughter - his daughter, “she’s just getting comfy. It’s alright, Bucky. It’s okay to be nervous, I am too. We’re both new to this, but we’ll learn, we’ll get through it together.”

“Is it possible to love someone so much, without even knowing them?” he looked at his daughter with nothing but adoration written on his face as she curled her little fist around his finger. He made a small sound in the back of his throat as he vowed that he would be the best father; he would do anything in his power to protect her.

“Of course it is, “ you laid back and watched the two of them. Your whole world was right there next to you, your (now) husband and your daughter. It amazed you that everything you could ever love or want was found in those two people. Bucky turned back to you with a nervous smile before leaning over and pressing a gentle kiss to your lips, “I love you, Bub.”

“I love you, pretty girl,” his nerves had quickly dissipated and turned to into a beaming smile. He looked back down at the small bundle in his arms. He thought she took after you, but you were already insistent that she’d taken after him, “and I love you too, baby girl.”

“She’s going to have you wrapped around her finger,” you teased as you watched him already get lost in her. Gods, it reminded you of when you first told him that you were having a little girl. You knew that it didn’t matter to either of you whether you had a boy or girl, but there was something about finding it was a little girl that had set Bucky over the edge. The man had practically broken down as he fell to his knees and hugged your belly, pressing gentle kisses to the swell of it. He was smitten with her from the start, just as he had been with you.

You knew then that it was about a lot more than just finding out what you were having. It was about the whole lot of it; Bucky had been through so much, often at the sheer mercy of others, and been told over and over again that he didn’t deserve anything. He was a killer, pure and simple. It had taken him years and a lot of love and patience, from himself, you, and others to finally get to where he was at now. But you always, always, made it a point to remind him of how amazing he was, of how loved he was.

It was in that moment, as he stared down at his newborn daughter, that you realized he knew. He knew that he deserved this, and that you both loved him more than anything.

“That’s totally fine with me,” he whispered as he sat back and realized that although he was nervous and anxious, he could do this. Together, the two of you could do anything, “it worked for you, didn’t it?”

“I like to think so,” you laughed lightly you laid back and closed your eyes. It had been a crazy couple of days and you were thoroughly exhausted. You knew that it would be tons of sleepless nights ahead, so you were more than happy to take advantage of as much sleep as possible, “i love you both so much.”

“Hey,” Bucky tenderly brushed a few loose strands of hair out of your face, “rest now, I’ve got her.”

“You sure, Bub?” you yawned as you grabbed his hand and pressed a kiss to his knuckles, “I can s-s-stay up with you.”

“You just had a baby,” he reminded you, “a whole ass baby. You deserve some rest. Besides, I think I’ll be okay. I can handle this.”

“I know,” you promised as you closed your eyes and yawned again, “love you both, Bubs.”

Bucky sat there in gentle silence for a few moments, finding himself more and more at ease with each passing second. His stomach that had been in knots slowly lessened up as he watched his daughter sleep soundly tucked into his chest. You had a gentle grip on his arm as you too succumbed to slumber.

He almost couldn’t believe it; his own little family. It was perfect.

Phased. Pt. 1

Vigilante Y/n + the Avengers

You have the power of intangibility, also known as ghosting or other names. Simply put, you can phase through matter at will.

You've been a vigilante for the past few months and have caught the attention of the Avengers. Every night when you go out to stop some petty crime, you keep a watch out for anyone that might be part of their little search group for you.

They couldn't figure out what exactly your powers were. But that didn't matter, what mattered was figuring out who you were.

You see, your hero suit was pretty much just average clothing and a full face mask and gloves. (Imagine smth like this). The mask has a mouth and eye holes covered by dark mesh.

So it wasn't very easy to spot you among the crowd unless they were looking closely at everyone's faces, which still would be difficult considering it was the dead of night.

You spotted two people fighting and ran over to them.

"Hey! What's going on here?" You ask, your voice distorted by a voice changer in your mask.

The two look at you then smirk. One speaks into an ear piece, "Tony, we got 'em."

Shit. It was a trap. You were about to make a run for an alley nearby, but another person came out from there. Then you had FUCKING IRON MAN casually flying down in his suit.

On closer inspection, the two 'fighting' were Hawkeye and Captain America. The one who emerged from the alley was Black Widow.

"Take off the mask." Natasha said,

Pointing a gun at you.

You simply laugh at her, "Try me."

She shoots. It phases through you.

"Huh. Looks like you missed, what a shame."

They look at each other, confused. You take this chance to run off into the alley that Natasha came out of.

You hear footsteps behind you. You climb up a fire escape ladder and kick it out after you. You escape to the roof and take a moment to catch your breath.

Then, you hear someone land on the roof behind you. It was Iron Man.

You turn around.

"Take off the mask."

"Why?"

"To see who you are."

"Why?"

"Because you're breaking the law. You've hurt people."

"I only hurt people who hurt others. I'm like you guys, but for petty crime."

"Join our team then."

"Never."

"Now I'll ask you, why?"

"Like you said, what I do is illegal."

"What power do you have?"

"You're stalling. Im not that dumb. Au revoir, dear." With that, you jump down the side of the building. You jump from balcony to balcony until you make your way back to the ground.

You run off until you reach your home, or your base rather, leaving the Avengers unsuccessful again.

You return back to your base and are greeted by your two friends, Sylvie and Asher. (Both are ocs)

Sylvie goes by the vigilante name of Red. She has enhanced durability and pyrokinesis. Her hair is long, dyed red and she has brown eyes.

Asher goes by the vigilante name of Spark. He has energy manipulation. He has short, dark brown hair and green eyes.

"I really need to start bringing you two on patrol with me.." You sigh, taking off your mask and gloves.

"Why?" Asher asks, his voice monotone as usual.

"I swear was it those Avenger people again?" Sylvie adds, her voice just above the normal pitch of a girl her age.

"Yeah. They set a trap and I fell for it. Two of them were fake fighting so I went over to them, then frickin' iron man came and so did one of the assassins. Eventually they tried to shoot me which obviously didn't work, then i ran."

"Ugh! They're so annoying!" Sylvie says, rolling her eyes.

....

Now what were the Avengers doing? Well they were having a meeting. The topic; You.

"I dont get it," Tony started, "They were clearly shot.. But it's like it went right through them."

"Wait.." Natasha says, realizing something.

"Hm?"

"They were untouchable.. Intangibility."

"In-tag-na what now?" Peter asks, having been zoned out for the first half of the meeting that he was forced to go to.

"Intangibility. They can phase through matter."

"So none of us can hit them then?" Steve asks.

"Pretty much." Natasha sighs.

"No! Mr Stark can! The blasts from his suit are energy, not matter!"

Everyone in the meeting looks at him.

"You're onto something here, kid."

...

The next night you decide to bring Sylvie and Asher with you on patrol.

(Their suits! They also have matching masks)

"Sylv', Ash', just remember, if anyone looks like they might be an Avenger, duck your heads and act like we're talking or laughing about something."

"Righto!"

"M'kay."

Asher was less than excited about going on patrol and Sylvie was the complete opposite.

As you three walked the streets of New York you stopped some small things, a mugging, a kidnapping, things like that.

Suddenly, while in the middle of stopping a fight, some Avengers pull up.

Tony, Steve, and Peter.

"Well, well, well. Who do we have here. The one we've been looking for, plus some." Tony says, aiming his hand towards you to blast you.

"Dont make this harder than it has to be, Stark. Let me and my friends go. At least let my friends go, they have no place in this."

"No." Steve speaks up.

"Fine. You chose the hard way."

Tony shoots a blast at you.

"SPARK! NOW!"

And with that, Asher re-aims the blast back at Tony.

"Red, you aim for the spider boy, Spark, watch iron guy for blasts. I got 'em."

And with that, Sylvie throws some fireballs at Peter, burning him severely.

"Mr Stark-!" The kid calls out, in too much pain to keep fighting.

"Red. Stop, dont hurt him too bad."

Sylvie then starts aiming blasts at Steve.

While Steve is pre-occupied with those, you punch and kick him in the fave until he falls over.

"Aim for his chest, Spark!" You shout as Tony shoots another blast.

"Red, watch the kid, dont hurt him he's already weak enough."

And with that, Sylvie throws a fireball at Steve again, but Peter gets in the way and gets hit instead.

"SHIT-!" You run over to him, grabbing bandages you have in your pocket.

"Kid, I know we're on different sides of the battle, but you're way too hurt right now." You grab his arm and start bandaging it.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Tony shouts, about to blast you.

"M-mr Stark... Its fine.. They're helping me..."

You finish bandaging his arm and sit him down against a building, "You stay right there alright? You dont need to get hurt anymore. We aren't going to target you."

You then rush back to the battle.

"Phase, what the hell was that!?" Asher shouts, "That thing isn't on our team!"

"It doesn't matter, he was hurt!"

After a lot more fighting, Asher successfully hits Tony in the chest and knocks him over.

"Guys! Lets go!" You shout as you start running back to your base.

Once back, you all take off your masks and head to bed.

3:39 a.m.

You are abruptly woken up by Sylvie screaming.

"Sylv'?! What's going on?!" You shout, seeing her in a state of panic.

"They took Asher! They took him! They just broke in and grabbed him! What do we do?!"

"Who? Who is 'they'?"

"Those people we fought like three months ago! The ones with the robots! They took Ash!"

"No no no! DAMNIT!" A few months ago, your group fought a group of robots. You couldn't defeat them, you mearly had to escape.

"What do we do, Y/n?!"

"I have an idea. You might not like it."

After a lot of convincing, Sylvie agreed to your plan of trying to get help from the Avengers. You'd have to wait for the next night to get their attention, so you hope Asher could hold out till then.

The day dragged on. Everything felt slower. You knew your friend was in danger, and you couldn't do anything about it. You didn't even know where he was!

Night finally rolled around and you went out to 'patrol', aka, get the attention of the Avengers and "accidentally" lead them back to your base.

And that's what happened. It wasn't hard to figure out when they were following you. Shadowy figures on top of roofs, dark shadows moving from alley to alley.

You and Sylvie walk back to your base and wait for the inevitable moment that only took about 5 minutes to happen; a knock on the door.

Unsurprisingly, you see Captain America, Spider man, Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow.

Now to their shock, you just said, "We were expecting you." And let them inside. You take a breath, "Look, i know we haven't gotten along, but-"

"Where's the third one?" Steve speaks up.

"He isn't here." You sigh, "Part of this is about him."

You receive confused looks.

"As I was saying, i know we haven't gotten along, but our friend, who you know as Spark, was taken. Taken by a gang of robots that we unsuccessfully fought a few months back."

"Get to the point." Tony sighs.

"I was hoping you could help us find him."

Tony and Steve snicker to each other. "Why should we? You haven't helped us at all."

You take a breath, then decide to make either the smartest or dumbest decision ever. You take off your mask and reach out a hand,

renjun as we all know is just a bit short tempered so i’m not sure where he stands in his relationship with kids 눈_눈

but also he brings up his younger cousins quite often and he seems very fond of them whenever he talks about them

so let’s say you’re shopping in like one of those bigger supermarkets

and you hear cries

renjun doesn’t even have the time to blink before you’re dragging him in the direction of the noise with such precision you might as well have a radar at this point ᕕ༼✿•̀︿•́༽ᕗ

turns out a little girl was lost between the tall aisles

renjun is a lil bewildered cause what is he supposed to do? not like he’s tall enough to see other the aisles in his dreams maybe

but you seem to know EXACTLY what to do as you crouch down in front of the girl and speak to her so gently not even renjun can hear properly

and then as if nothing happened she stops crying

just like that so renjun decides to try his luck too o｜◕ˇ▽ˇ◕｜ツ

“come on, let’s go find mommy and daddy”

and lemme tell ya the little girl sprung into your arms and clung to you with everything she had as she mumbled into your neck

thankfully it didn’t take long for the parents to run over and thank you for returning their child safely but there was only one problem left

he admires you so much for how you handled the situation and how you seemed to be so natural and in your element he can only think of how great of a mother you will be in the future with his beside you hopefully

one word, his greatest asset: PATIENCE

i see jeno as a man of patience which is more than just helpful when it comes to handling children ❀.(*´◡`*)❀.

he’s also volunteered in all these programs that involved children and he did really well if you ask me soooo he’s a good ally to have (︶.̮︶✽)

and you really REALLY want to volunteer together at one of those like emergency centres for children or something

and who is he to deny his love? he couldn’t have even if he wanted to, you’re too cute in his eyes so he lets you get your way anyway

so before you step inside one of the caretakers gives you some advice

warns you that the new kid, a little girl still in primary school, is still very closed off and wary of everyone

but as you step inside the kids get drawn to you like moths to a flame, swarming around you and asking you questions while dragging you in the living room to play with them

jeno just trails behind, watching the entire commotion with his soft eye smile as he understands (◍•ᴗ•◍)

he knows that you just have a way with people, he’s been in the same position mesmerized by you, it’s one of the reasons he loves you so much and seeing you so purely happy surrounded by children

and right things are all good until BABY STARTS TO CRY i’m talking about the actual baby here although chenle might cry too at this point

and chenle just PANICS when he realises that just shushing won’t work and whacking a hand over his mouth *cough* like he does to jisung *cough* isn’t an option (╬⁽⁽ ⁰ ⁾⁾ Д ⁽⁽ ⁰ ⁾⁾)

but thankfully, you’re there!!!!!!

so when you coddle the baby in your arms and just gently bounce him a little he just settles down so cutely and most important QUIETLY as he stares up at you with curious eyes, small fingers curling up around a necklace swung around your neck or just the fabric of your shirt

this chick is still a baby who barely hatched

so he’s still in CONSTANT WONDER of the world ༼ つ ◕o◕ ༽つ

and in this episode of ‘jisung the explorer’ he’s discovering... ACTUAL babies

so you were on a date at the local mall when you met with a family friend of your mom’s who was struggling with her fussy baby girl in a carrier while trying to shop for some baby products

so you offer to watch over the girl until her mom finishes up (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧

but just as you’re about to attach the baby carrier to yourself, an old woman asks for directions around the shop

so you pass the baby to jisung for literally a minute to show the lady the way └(>ω<。)┐

and jisung is HIGHKEY PANICKED

he holds the baby by the underarms at arms length and obviously she doesn’t enjoy that and just starts wailing in the middle of the shop

and people just... stare (,Ծ_Ծ,)

and jisung is all like ‘IT’S NOT MINE!!!!! AND I’M NOT STEALING OR MISTREATING IT EITHER!!!!!!’

the moment you’re back in his sight, he’s THRUSTING that tiny loud bald creature in your arms it’s a child jisung ║ * ರ Ĺ̯ ರ * ║

and he expects for you to panic too but right away

the baby quietens down as you cuddle her close to your chest and coo softly in a hushed baby voice

and she plays with your shirt while you glare at your boyfriend (눈_눈)

“y/n, you sorcerer, how did you just shut it off?”

“i didn’t ‘shut it off’, she’s a baby not a tape recorder”

“oh REALLY, i couldn’t tell the difference for a moment there”

you just might consider returning jisung and keeping the baby（ ಠωಠ）

he watches in wonder as you entertain the baby for the next few minutes until her mother comes back

and he swears his heart skips a beat when he sees your smile widen with tenderness once you get a small giggle out of the baby (*ฅ́˘ฅ̀*)

he supposes maybe she isn’t so bad since she makes you so happy

even though she was louder than even chenle which is an accomplishment at this point

and when jisung notices your slight pout once you gave the baby back and parted ways he makes sure to shower your face in kisses until you regain the same smile that made him fall so deep in love with you

Top 5 Merlin side/minor characters?

LOL THIS QUESTION IS UNFAIR I LOVE ALL OF THEM.  LIKE - sometimes I see criticism of Merlin’s “filler” episodes and I never ever understand that, like - those are…some of the best episodes of the show???  They?  Are some of the best stories???  Those are what gives this show so much of its charm?????  Idk, to each their own, but I aDORE those episodes and all the characters in them.

For the purposes of this question, I’m going to define side/minor Merlin characters as anybody who isn’t Uther, Gaius, Kilgharrah, the Core 4, or any of the knights.  If I were working on different definitions, I would definitely put Mordred on the following list of faves, because I LOVE him, but I think for these purposes he counts as a major character.

1) Not that this needs to be said, but…my absolute favorite is WILL!  Everybody who’s been on my blog at least once in the past year knows that Will is my number one most beloved side character.  I post about him incessantly, and if you want to understand why I love him so much, my tag for him is ‘no kings no masters.’

(The rest of these are not ranked in any particular order, because I love all the other minor characters the same.)

2) ELENA!  I adored her.  I loved how she just…in that opening scene, she’s just chowing down on an apple and checking her teeth in the mirror and farting in her room and I’m like “YES!  THAT IS A NORMAL HUMAN GIRL!  WE ALL DO THAT SHIT OK WE ARE JUST REGULAR PEOPLE’ it was like that feeling of what girls don’t get to be because somebody is always watching, but when we are home alone we stay in our pajamas and don’t look nice and just EXIST.  i just loved her.  And her dad was great, too; I liked him a lot.  And Grunhilda is in this episode, too - just a perfect, goofy side character.  Just delightful.

3) CATRINA OMG.  The troll arc is the funniest gotdam thing I’ve ever seen and the actress playing Catrina just went for it.  She just threw everything she had into that fucking role and it kills me every time.  

4) Mary the barkeep from Gwaine’s episode.  Lol I fuckin loved her.  Anybody who deflates Arthur’s ego in the process of praising Merlin is automatically my favorite person.

5) Annis.  That actress had a real presence, too, and I loved her character.  I was so happy she reappeared in S5, however briefly.  

Others because this is an unfair question and 5 is too small of a number.

GEOFFREY OMG.  How could I not mention geoffrey.  I was SO upset not to catch a glimpse of him in Season 5.

Mithian was frickin great.  I loved Finna and Alator.  I loved Freya and Gilli and Daegal.  I thought Myror the assassin was a badass, and I loved the fake knight from that same episode (Sir William) - he was so chill and like…just having a grand old time getting mixed up in all this silliness XD  I thought the Witchfinder was a GREAT villain, and his actor was fantastic.  I loved all the druids we met, including Kara.  I loved all the villains-of-the-week.  I loved the Fisher King and the Cailleach.  I loved Hunith and Balinor.  I loved Tom :’(  I liked Morgause a LOT in her first episode (though I feel like her development/motivations fell off later, personally).  I thought Nimueh was fascinating.  I even had a soft spot for Vivian - like, she was fucking rude to Gwen, okay, and that is a big no-no for me, but I loved how she legit did not give a shit for Arthur and slammed the door on him, and I LOVED how when her dad discovers her and Arthur together and he’s being all shouty and aggressive she’s not bothered at all and just makes a face like, “Father…” like she’s seen it all before and she thinks he’s being a little dumb and overdramatic lol.  

Honestly, the answer to this question is that there isn’t actually a side character on this show that I DIDN’T like.  Even the “bad” guys were entertaining and interesting to me.  I just…Merlin is a show that is almost entirely delightful to me, and I’m really happy that I had that kind of experience with it.

i dont really have an answer for this. i think i just automatically think about any song ive been listening to recently or any song that has been stuck in my head. 

2.  Do you have some snacks nearby when you write?

well i live in a two story house so the kitchen is downstairs and im usually lazy busy so since i have a mini fridge upstairs i just usually get water to drink while im writing. its kinda hard to eat and write cuz i loose focus really easily so when i am writing i am writing! i am in the zone! but if i am a little hungry ill usually snack on candy like chocolate kinder joys i love them but they r so expensive or snack on chips but i get like salt on my fingers or i like cheetos so cheetos dust and that just gets everywhere and later my hands and keyboard kinda smell like fart. 3. What do you do to combat creative burnout?

so burnout happens to me a lot so to get inspiration i either read other stories or fanfics which gets my head gears turning or i admire a piece of art or photography or a song. whats so unique and satisfying with writing you can explore and go anywhere with it, hehehe erotic if you know what i mean lol jk there are no barriers with writing just your imagination. there is inspiration any where you go and id advise to never stop writing. even if its a few short sentences or paragraphs about anything even bird poop its still progression and your mind is working and your searching for words like its all good for you bby.  4. 5. What is your favorite place to write?

lol boring, i know but my room. my room is really bright in the mornings and comfortable and chill and i have a candle of the pandora ride in disney that smells like the ride so its all good and relaxing and super peaceful plus i have a picture of myself the age of like 9 on my desk idk why but it encourages me and makes me focus to make sure i never get that cringy again. 

6. What is a hobby or yous that you usually don’t talk about?

well i like working out HAHAHAHAHA jk that was a joke...get it...cuz i much rather be eatingokillstop. but i really like to draw which i have a art page you can see it if you click here pls look at my failed attempts to be hip and cool with the cool kids and being artsy fartsy. another hobby is i really like to do makeup and nail art, nail art is really tough guys no joke if you do it like you got wizard powers are something. maybe its bc my nails are shorter than pete davidson and ariana grande’s relationship, alright im trying to stop i swear!

7. Do you play an instrument? Which one?

no i wish though. i always wanted to learn to either play the piano or electric guitar cuz H.E.R looks so cool doing it. 

8. How do you feel about your handwriting?

it sucks dont even try me. my sister can barely read it like no wonder nobody wants to steal my signature heck they can’t even read it!

9. Can you tell us of a story that marked your development as a person? As a writer?

ok sit back guys, sniff a nice amount of crack and get ready for the most cringy moment of my life but also a time when i knew i was meant to be *inhale* a fanfic writer. 

so it was elementary school, i think 3rd grade and for my writing assignment we were given a prompt of idk what the heck tbh i think it was like be outside the box and im like ok imma nail this cuz im a weird child and yeah so i got my papers and pencil and i went TO TOWN on this paper. so i wrote two stories. one short story with a picture to go with it and one long story that yeah i buried years ago. so my first story was about a farmer was about that farming life. he had chickens and dairy. so i cant remember if the cheese was spoiled but doesnt matter. anywho these cheese and a chicken were alive like they could talk in the story and i gave them faces, yikes. but the whole story was the farmer was a b*tch and he was trying to eat the chicken and cheese so they hatched a plan to get away from the farmer. they did it successfully and they ran away. yay happy ending my teacher actually liked that one me too and my school mates were thinking what they heck is this girl on i made a story about how me and justin bieber made cookies for Christmas you know. so then my other story i was more proud of this one cuz it was a tone of paper, sorry trees, and this story was about how a female hippo (girl i was all about plus size and thicker girls and no body shaming) and an male ostrich were kidnapped from their own habitats and taken to become circus animals. failed version of Madagascar hey mine was before the circus movie OK THEY STOLE IT FROM MEEEEE. so they get taken and are treated to harsh punishment and the animals can talk and i think its in the point of view of the male ostrich guy thing. they are in the circus and they start to have this relationship happening. love starts blossoming its all good. im happy with this cuz i believed in love at age of 8. they find a way thru a kick butt scene of the animals escaping and the hippo and ostrich are so in love that they run away together and they have half hippo half ostrich babies and i think i named the species  hipstrich or like ostppo idk but i was so proud of this story and when my teacher read it she was worried about me lol i think she thought i might like mate these two animals like secretly idk but she was like it was ok and i was like what this is frickin William Shakespeare writing or like F. Scott Fitzgerald writing. nevertheless it taught me a lesson that nobody else needs to like what im writing the main point and only thing that matters is if your proud of it and you like it and i really did. i will remember that story forever and thats what made me want to be a writer. lol sorry that was a lot.

1. What is your favorite book?

fifty shades of grey hahaha naw my favorite book is obv you all know this is series of unfortunate events but i never usually cry period and i never cry for books ever so when i read mrs. tom thumb by melanie benjamin, its the part when her sister minnie dies i cried so hard idk it was just emotional the wording the way she described her pain it was so beautiful written yet so sad and that was just amazing to me cuz im like this book made me feel things and im like wow i would love to write a book one day and make someone feel something whether it be sadness anger happiness annoyance anything they are having an emotion and that is super powerful to do that with just words. pls go check out that book its a good read. also im a fan of the greatest showman so i really enjoyed it. there are many other books tho that i thoroughly enjoy so much. 

2. What piece that you’ve written are you most proud of?

oh my god ive always wanted to be asked this question hands down i am always proud of my platonic gender neutral tony stark fic called in·con·sol·a·ble window to me i wrote it so sad and i was feeling like depressed lol when i saw peter die in infinity war like i didnt know what to do with my life tbh but im so glad that @impetrichorny requested it tysm i just like how its not based on romance or fluff or happiness it is based on when you lose someone the nightmares and sadness you go through and that there is nothing nobody can do about it except just be there for that person so i really like writing angst and something that was out of the box. ive been thinking tho of doing a part two since the fate of all the characters has changed after endgame. who knows tho. 

3. What is the last song that inspired you? 

well for art it would have to good news by mac miller when i did that kobe bryant memorial on my art page. i dont want to give it away though but ill just say some very powerful womens music inspired my oc writing and making. 

4. How do you feel about letting people read what you write?

at first i was scared cuz i thought i wrote like trash which that feeling kinda doesnt go away like some days i feel that way others i feel confident or it depends on the request it just depends but anyways i was always insecure about my writing so when i started writing it was more like lets see how this goes if not ill delete the whole page. im glad to say it went great but in the begging it was hard cuz i kept putting myself down but i learned to accept or just understand that you keep learning with writing you always learn knew things with writing how you can explain something better or you words get more intricate and people see the improvement and you do too thats why i applaud those who dont speak english that english isnt their first language. you are doing a tremendous job and keep practicing cuz you’re gonna make it to the top. ive also learned that some days are not my days and you can take time off when youre not feeling it when you have writers block. just recollect your juices sip some tea go to the beach relax your mind a little and take as long as you need to come back and give it your all. also comments and reblogs and likes a follows those meant so much to me and encouraged me. thats why i cant express it enough how much all those mean to writers, artist, photographers, anybody who is truly trying their hard in this area of social media. its makes a person happy smile and confident in their writing but first train your mind into loving what you make not what others thing. you have to be happy with the outcome that is what truly matters and what makes your writing the best. look at me getting philosophical. 

5. Do you get distracted easily? If yes with what?

yes and with porn haha i get distracted easily like very easily homeschooling was really tough for me. music distracts me, netflix, the urge to watch david dobrik or unus annus or buzzfeed unsolved on youtube, heck my farts distract me. i gotta be like troy bolton i gotta get my HEAD IN THE GAME!

second half of 3: this north face windbreaker/nice ass jacket?? it was put in the men’s section for some reason and i copped so fast? it’s so nice y’all like.. a light jacket but also thick enough to protect you from life.. love that. $15 buckaroos.. like i’ve paid more than that for a garbage bag of a jacket before

4: L2R: ann taylor polka dot shirt. i love the neckline on this! i couldn’t not cop. and it’s polka dotted?? for like $6 i think? then the blue calvin klein shirt. v simple but blue is one of ‘my’ colors $7.. then banana republic tank that has a flowy white piece that comes out from the bottom and the neck on this is cute too.. $6 i think. but it does have a zipper in the back so uh.. that’s not ideal when i don’t have someone to help but i still love it. the leopard print is just a tank from old navy it was $3 but it reminded me of the wild thornberries and i love it. the inner spots are like a blush pink irl.. love it.

5.YALL I GOT A FRICKIN POTTERY BARN ROBE BRAND NEW FOR $6.. this bitch literally retails new for $130.. i didn’t even realize it was PB until it was in the basket because i just like saw it and the quality of it was so good i was like??? this literally hasn’t even been worn it’s in mint condition honestly.. and i’ve wanted a good robe. then i saw it was PB and was like ok bitch yes absolutely tysm... honestly? the steal of the haul.

6. fabletics leggings.. nothing special but i liked the waist on them.. $6 then some victorias secret pajama bottoms that are like crinkly velvet ish?? idk they’re like a peachy pink color and i fell in love with them immediately. they’re so soft and comfy i love.. and they were like $7 so i had to do it to em.

7.. the last photo: idk the brand but it’s like a blush/peachy pink flowy button up and it was like $5 and it fit perfectly and it’s so pretty!! the next shirt is just a casual hang out shirt.. it’s so fucking soft y’all.. $6 and then the white long sleeve is just a gap long sleeve but who doesn’t need a white long sleeved shirt? gewd quality and literally like it’s never been worn $6. 

idk if the prices are exact but that’s about what it was. i spent like $110 total on everything and literally the pieces i bought was like they’ve never been worn. everything is clean, no rips, tears, stains, anything. i don’t know what i did to deserve such good finds this weekend but god i am blessed. my fav takeaways are the shoes, the jacket and the robe 100%. i wore the blue floral vince camuto shirt today and i’m in love with it!!! where i live currently, all the goodwills/thrift stores are absolute ass but austin truly treated me right.. if anyone actually read through this.. thank you ily. i just wanted to share my finds!!

Honestly, I’ve pretty much enjoyed them all about the same. Some a little more than others. To be honest, I’m gonna put this out there. I’ve honestly had so much fun writing pretty much all the fake fic titles that like... I haven’t really given thought to much else oops rip?

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year

Oh god, hands down, it’s the smut fake fic title ask Stuffed Like A Turkey for Mox. I felt like that was actually better than any kind of smut I’ve ever written -before or since.

5. most popular fic this year

TBH... I don’t know. I know that anything I wrote for Roman Reigns went upwards of 20 notes (not much but i think last check at least one of them was a little over that, idk.. I try not to check stuff like that often anymore bc if I do it’ll be frustrating / give me anxiety) . Everything else struggles to reach that, so I guess my Roman Reigns fake fic title asks or the one I just did for Kevin Owens, one or two I’ve done for Adam Page? Which is honestly kinda sad because like... I personally think that they’re all good in their own way. But hey, it is what it is and frankly, I’m content to have anyone reading my garbage at all. Honestly, I’ve just enjoyed playing around with different ones, even though I feel like I don’t do well at writing any of them at all, it’s fun to try. I have to say that I’m really enjoying writing Mox.

Do you have regrets? boy oh boy, do I: taking so long to forgive my abuser (thx for destroying my childhood @ my biological father), procrastinating, not having enough self-love/worth/confidence, being complacent with so many of the friends I used to have, focusing so much on socializing in hs rather than my sports and my schoolwork, being so afraid to just be myself bc I knew most people don’t want to be friends with a weirdo, the list goes on, all I can do now is move past it though so... ohwell.

Dream job? oh SIS get ready for this: sooo I want to own my own business, known as LEAD Revitalization (L for Love, E for Equity, A for Advocacy, D for Diplomacy - these are the core values of my business), which aims to help revitalize underdeveloped and underserved ethnic communities in the US and around the world and fight against gentrification through implementing art of all mediums in or near historic locations in that community that is representative of the demographic living there (so if the area is a primarily black neighborhood, you’re gonna see art depicting black history and culture, and if the area is primarily Asian you’d see Asian history and culture). I won’t get too into it just bc that would make this post way too long, but if anyone’s interested or wants to hear more you can bml ;) like literally bc I’m passionate af about it so I will talk your head off for days on end if given the chance

How many? two or three of my own (I’m hoping for a girl and a boy) just so I can have the experience of having kids, but once they’re grown and out of the house I would like to adopt more if I have the resources to. my cousin’s adopted, so like, idk. I think that if you can adopt a kid, you should, bc there’s so many of them just stuck in the foster system and that’s complete bs

Do you like shopping? yes but I usually don’t like getting myself things (unless if we’re talking groceries or something I actually need), I love to buy things for other ppl tho if I can

What countries have you visited? canada for like 3 days technically, I just went to Mt. Whistler for spring snowboarding (that shit hurted) with my aunt bc she paid for the whole thing and my passport

Scariest nightmare you have ever had? TRIGGER WARNING: DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE - I had a nightmare awhile ago that this guy I used to be involved with raped me, I also used to have recurring nightmares after I stopped going to my biological father’s house for visitation where he would come searching for me trying to kill me and my older brother (he’s tried to kill me 3+ times sooo... it makes sense). so like. fun.

The End: (Spoiler Free!)

I promise! NO SPOILERS! Though, I must say, if you're trying to avoid spoilers, you're currently doing a terrible job of it.

Plus, you havent seen it yet? What's wrong with you?! Quit fooling around with me and go now!

But, I digress.

"Part of the journey is the end"

We never want anything good to end. We never want anything to end badly.

I would say that this movie is about how we journey more so than how we end, but I'll get to that later.

Let's start off by paying homage to the beginning:

RDJ (Tony Stark)

- This dude had fallen off the map (at the time) - he had fallen off the wagon, the wall, the chain, the train, the mountain... if one could fall off of it, he was doing so , but Marvel put their confidence in him. No one knew how successful this whole thing was going to be. Not only were they trying to sell us a previously precarious actor, but a character who's a self-centered asshole... who profited off of war.

But, BOOM, Iron Man showed us that being an asshole could look good and make a lot of money.

CAPT AMERICA

- played by Chris Evans who had already failed as a superhero. 

But, more than that, just look at Capt

He looks ridiculous. He's corny. A lil self-righteous. And who fights with a frickin shield? He was a military man, so he has access to all kinds of weapons (not to mention all that I'm sure Tony Stark would make for him), but nope! - he says "Gimme me a shield; that's all I need!" In fact, that's a lil cocky now that I think about it. Plus, they had just showed us that being rich asshole was the way to go, now this (the opposite)?

BUT, America is short on solid leadership. We're crying out for someone to consistently believe in; not perfection, but someone who's at least all in. Marvel gave us that in Capt. Over time, we grew to love this man. Not to mention, that beard he rocked, 

and the ass of America (you’ll get that later).

Idk about y'all, but I'd follow Capt anywhere. If Chris Evans were to dress up like Capt America, and recruit people for a war (any war), I'd legit go! He IS Captain America to me.

SCARJO as Black Widow... how do I put this?

In the beginning, she was simply a pair of boobs in tight black. 

Now, I don't mean that's actualy what she was, but that's how many saw her. Black Widow carried with her the power to be objectified, and not just by men. I can remember when there were rumors that women in the industry were jealous of Scarjo, saying she's only getting quality roles cuz she's a pretty face.

She proved the doubters wrong though. She is and has been a great actress! Black Widow is seen now with the respect that she has always deserved. Honestly, if I can't have Capt lead me, my second choice is Widow.

We can go on and on, right??

HULK - we had two Hulk failures before Mark Ruffalo, but he has played him perfectly, and they finally got the Hulk right.

Hawkeye... 

Well, I kinda feel like his superpower is being lame, so that's ok :) There's one in every group. And can we all agree that bow and arrows as a main weapon is just stupid? Dude, there are people shooting guns at you! You've gotta take the time to pick out the correct arrow, aim, and... you know what?? never mind. He's Black Widow's boy, so he's alright with me. And it adds to my point that no one knew this would work.

And who knew that Chris Hemsworth would end up being their comedy anchor??

I never thought the Thor movies would work. I never thought that The Avengers movie would work (no way they could make all of the characters work together in a movie), but I have never been so wrong:)

We've laughed with them and cried with them, and were brought to the end by Thanos' snap with them. 

I can still remember what the theatre felt like after leaving "Infinity War" - people felt lost, confused, and kinda angry Not me of course, I was that jerk rooting for Thanos:) In "Infinity War" we got to see Thanos' side of the war. He doesn't see himself as a villain. I agree with his philosophy of balance.

Now, I would never choose him over The Avengers. I feel like the Avengers would make good bosses. They'd have bonuses, allow for a union (maybe), and definitely have pizza parties. Thanos might appreciate my loyalty and sacrifice me (literally) for higher production in the same breath.

One might say "Why not use the stones to create more resources?" I'd reply "But, then we don't learn anything."

The team definitely learned some hard lessons here. But, that brings us to this part of the journey "The End" -

Who do you blame? Do we just look at Thanos as the villain? Do we go with "Shit Happens"? A will of a higher power? Or are the Avengers culpable in anyway? It's all up for debate.

Anyway,

I break down this movie into four acts -

1 - ? (something I won't share:) 2 - Dealing with loss 3 - Hope 4 - Action (most of it is saved for the end - this is mainly a drama)

FIRST, the act I won't be talking about. Instead... many had theories and wishes going into this film, allow me to share some of mine.

I was hoping for a revelation that Thanos has been Stan Lee the whole time.

He rips off his mask in Mission Impossible fashion. We find out that he did the snap to get rid of characters that he really didn't care for. The Avengers respect Stan so much that they don't try to fight him, instead they simply move on. In doing so, Tony and Capt America realize their love for one another. Tony decides he'd rather marry Capt over Potts (his current fiance). This makes Potts furious and she storms off.

They have a big wedding with a shawarma reception. The ants from Ant Man perform at the wedding. 

Meanwhile, Potts teams up with Thanos aka Stan Lee, they gather all of characters forgotten in each series:

Natalie Portman, Jennifer Connelly (not her fault that old Hulk movie sucked), Terrance Howard... so on and so forth.

Stan Lee, Potts, and the scorned attack The Avengers, and there's an epic battle to bg music by Drake. 

PERFECTION RIGHT?!! I'm not saying that any of that happens, but I'm not saying that it doesn't.

2nd Act - Loss

Like I said, this is mainly a drama. They do a really good job (as always) at pulling out the humanity in these characters. All of the team are dealing with loss. Some remain strong on the outside, some move on, some move on poorly, some become self-destructive, etc.

The humanity in that is something we can all relate to. Loss is something that we all continue to experience and learn how to cope with every day. They're painting this real picture with a comic book series. Crazy, right??

Big help from great actors though.

RDJ always brings it; no surprise there. But, for me, Chris Evans and Scarjo shine the brightest as far as bringing the drama. Seriously, when Scarjo cries we cry.

Act 3 is about hope.

... even if that hope may be false. Again the humanity brought out in the characters here is what makes it work. Hope is an interesting thing -  Some deny it, some embrace it, some don't want it, some twist it, etc.

And again the acting and writing in this area is superb. I include the writing as well, cuz they know how to blend in humor with all of this tragedy. Chris Hemsworth is the man here! He is the rock of comedy in this movie. And I can't say enough about Mark Ruffalo - in fact I've knighted him as one of my dads. He's perfect for the role, but don't you also just want to play catch with him?

I just want to go to a ball game with Mark Ruffalo; am I alone in that? - probably:)

Lastly, we have act 4 - ACTION

And while this is mostly a drama, they make up for it at the end. Now, Marvel has that formula, and they stick to it here. They find everyone they can (who's still alive), CG them up to the max, and toss them in the ring. - And I don't say this in a bad way. Sometimes, the big CG ending in these types of movies ends up being a lil overwhleming or not well thought out, but not here - the writing and the choreography and the CG continue to hold up through the end.

The funny thing about all of the people that they throw in is some of them you probably won't even remember. Some of them don't have any lines - you just see them fighting in the background. Some people only show up to stand there in silence (what an easy day of work).

Everything leading up to a fitting poetic end.

Grade: A

The end was dope, but it's all about the journey, baby! We don't have too much control over when or how the story is going to end. You never know what could happen: sickness, drivers who simultaneously text, aliens (honestly, that's how I wanna go... battling aliens), our doppelgangers eliminating us and stealing our identities (a growing concern for most), ghosts...

- THAT is a sexy ass ghost. Cheer up, fellah, I think she digs you! If ghost start killing people by means of paranormal sexiness, perhaps I'd sign up. If only we got to decide how we go.

But, no one talks about the end of our lives, people reflect on the life journeyed  - unless you die in some hilarious manner

Some of us will be like Iron Man - starting out an asshole, but becoming a hero.

Some like Groot - your life gets blown up and you get to start fresh

Some will become something a bit mutated due to the sins of others

Some will get tagged on to the adventures of others cuz they shine so brightly :)

Still others will start lame, get lamer, and die lame :)

Hell of a movie. It's been a hell of a journey. Thanks, Avengers peeps!
