Finally found a picture for @farrah.shamma’s #2017YearinBookReview #booktag: favorite female protagonist. Lila Bard. I struggled a bit with this one, Hermione Granger was my first female book role model, (Buffy being my TV one), and then there’s the awesome Lyra from the Golden Compass. There was a time that Celaena Sardothien was the baddassest of all assassins (and then SJM made me loath her). Honestly, I read so much YA that I (thankfully) have a plethora of awesome females to rally behind. But, I think I will have to go for Delilah Bard this time.
