Just caught up on the Iga Swiatek and Naomi Osaka match. What a banger(!!!) but I am so heartbroken for Naomi. To be 5-3 up with advantage on the third set and then lose it. Testament to how well Iga's able to fight but DAMN. It's good seeing Naomi playing well again though 🥰

Also TIL that Naomi had been the one to encourage Iga not to give up on tennis... and this is what happens 😂

Have you been following the French Open? If so did you see / hear about the crazy match between Holger Rune and Flavio Cobolli, or more precisely how it ended with him bouncing back after being behind 0-5 in the tiebreaks? As a Dane I decided to base my MC in CT:OS in part on Holger Rune ( at least appearance wise and maybe also in competiveness ), so I just wanted to share this. Also wanted to say I really like this IF and I am looking forward to reading more.

I've been following some matches (there's a local cafe near my house that does replays) - I watch it in the background while writing for the past 2 weekends--but it's highly dependent on what the cafe is showing at the moment. Definitely up for recommendations on highlights to catch up on though. Rune and Cobolli will be on the list!

I think Iga vs. Naomi was the best match I've watched so far.
