#Freezingcoldtemperatures right now in Düsseldorf (-6°C) at the start of the #mtbride this morning is a good excuse to have a #Glühwein, #CaféLatte and “#Kuchen mit #Sahne” pause at Auermühle in Rattingen. Nice session with the buddies along the single trails to Ratingen and back home discovering new paths. Also, an opportunity to test in the cold some features on my GoPro gear. Check the video in my linkin.bio 4K and sound on! Below more info on the updates done - On my GoPro 8 - I tested the Loam Ranger 4K settings. It is a game changer; the image quality is perfect with colours now a lot closer to reality. And yes, this morning, light was…grey - Sounds recommendations of Loam Ranger: this is the best improvement I have experienced over the last years. Turn the sound of the video on! Now you can finally hear exactly what I hear when I ride. And that is completely new experience. Required change: you must use a wind muff on the camera. But it is worth it. - I tested my GoPro Hero 11 for the first time. All clips after the GoPro Hero 11 text have been made with the new camera. - Again, video settings from the Loam Ranger, adapted to GoPro Hero 11. At the end of the video you will see changing lights in and out of a forest section. Light is constant and colours are true to what I have experienced. - Here also, no saturation or exaggerated colours or highlights: all images are as close as possible to the reality (again, it was really grey this morning). - And again, proper Audio settings, deactivating the wind cancellation from the camera, using High Audio rate and an additional wind muff. And here you go, the true experience starts!
