Eintritt frei, spektakuläre Tricks und jede Menge Spaß!

Zum 16. Mal findet am Samstag, den 16. September 2023 der “BRETTBEWERB” Skateboard-Contest im Regionalpark Rhein-Main in Nauheim statt. Unter freiem Himmel und bei freiem Eintritt erwartet die Brettsportbegeisterten ein geselliges Sportevent mit erstklassigem Street- und Bowlstyle-Skateboarding, fachkundiger Moderation und heißen Beats von DJ Wäxs und Kapin.

Contest

Sowohl Profis als auch Anfänger haben die Möglichkeit, ihre Fähigkeiten zu präsentieren und in verschiedenen Wettbewerben ihr Können unter Beweis zu stellen. Skateboarder*innen aus Nah und Fern messen sich ab 13.00 Uhr in A- (Sponsored), B- (Unsponsored) und C-Gruppen (Unsponsored) im Streetstyle- und Best-Trick-Contest. Bewertet werden neben Trick-Level und Gesamtnutzung von Park und Bowl, die Kriterien Kreativität, Konsistenz, Style und Flow. Vor der Siegerehrung können sich alle Anwesenden auf den Bowl-Contest im neuen Betonpool freuen. Bewertet wird die Best Line und der Best Trick. Die Jury, bestehend aus erfahrenen Skateboardern und und Experten kürt die Gewinner am Abend.

Schnupperkurs für Einsteiger

Auch die jüngeren Skateboard-Fans sind auf dem Brettbewerb herzlich willkommen. Neben dem Brettverleih der Jugendförderung, bietet ab 14.30 Uhr das Team von B´Skateboarding e.V. einen offenen Schnupperkurs für Einsteiger an. Unter fachkundiger Anleitung kann jeder der auf einem Brett stehen kann seine ersten Rollanläufe probieren und sich von erfahrenen Skateboardern inspirieren lassen. Am späten Nachmittag kann der Nachwuchs seine Tricks präsentieren.

Hunger und Durst

Für alle Durstigen und Hungrigen gibt es Süßes, Snacks und Getränke zu fairen Preisen. An den Ständen rund um den Skatepark gibt es Allerlei zum Probieren und Mitnehmen.

Eintritt und Anmeldung

Der Eintritt für Besucher ist frei! Wer am Skateboard-Contest teilnehmen möchte, sollte sich ab 11.00 Uhr vor Ort im Park anmelden. Das Startgeld für Fahrer beträgt 3,- Euro.

An- und Abreise

Der Skatepark an der Berzallee in Nauheim liegt im Herzen des Rhein-Main-Gebiets unweit von Mainz, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt und Frankfurt Airport entfernt. Er ist mit dem Bus (RMV Linie 61 - Neue Ortsmitte) und Bahn (RB 75 - Bahnhof Nauheim) erreichbar. Ganz in der Nähe befinden sich zwei Campingplätze am See.

Organisation

Veranstaltet wird das Skateboarding Event von der Jugendförderung Nauheim und der "Brettbewerb” Skateboarding-Initiative mit Unterstützung von TITUS-Wiesbaden, B´Skateboarding, Jugendkulturbahnhof X-Presso und dem Sanitätsdienst des DRK-Nauheim.

Okay, so I guess this is *technically* the last #newtricksundae post of 2019, and also my first YouTube video in months. Get ready for a wall of text: So, this year I had a new year's resolution - I made a list of 25 tricks or so that I thought I could learn, relearn, or get consistent. Simple stuff. What I didn't expect was that it would snowball into #newtricksundae, and that for nearly 52 consecutive weeks I would be posting tricks on Instagram that, only a year prior, I'd thought I'd never do, or at least never do again. I didn't get all the tricks on that initial list, but I amassed far more total than I ever expected. Not all of them were great, but the fact that I have five minutes of footage here with clips to spare is something I am abundantly proud of. 💔R.I.P 💔@matthewmcgeachan Another heavy loss... Matt the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back, such a heart warming soul, if it wasn’t for him I would have never skated transitions or freestyle he really opened my mind to so manny more possibilities, I’m so thankful he got me to enter the @theworldroundup because of that I met so new amazing friends out there, and actually got to meet @rodneymullen the first year I entered, who is my all time favourite skateboarder and role model. All thanks to Matt cause if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have ever met Rodney, he also was the guy that got me on @smartrdevice skateboards witch Which lead it to way more opportunities than I can even imagine I am very thankful for that❤️ ❤️ Matt was like a #MikeTernasky if you don’t know who this is, it was the guy who got Rodney to skate street, But for me it was the opposite. He got me to skate freestyle, and if you know me I’m a very stubborn so the fact he could open my mind to freestyle skateboarding is crazy. freestyle skateboarding is quite frowned upon in the street skating world which is sad because skateboarding skateboarding, if you’re having fun that’s all that matters, if it makes you feel good that’s all that matters, if you love it that’s all that matters. Zum 12. Mal findet am Samstag, den 14. September 2019 der BRETTBEWERB-SKATEBOARD-CONTEST im Regionalpark Rhein-Main statt.

Unter freiem Himmel und bei freiem Eintritt erwartet die Brettsportbegeisterten ein geselliges Sportevent mit hochkarätigem Street- und Freestyle-Skateboarding, fachkundiger Moderation und fetten Beats von DJ Sapiko.

Skateboarder aus Nah und Fern messen sich ab 13.00 Uhr in A- (Sponsored), B- (Unsponsored) und C-Gruppen (Unsponsored) im Streetstyle- und Best-Trick-Contest. Gegen 15.00 Uhr präsentieren Skateboard-Legenden und Freestyle-Meister (“YOYO” Schulz, “Frankenblitz” Kümpel, Stefan Albert u.a.) in einer Freestyle-Show außergewöhnliche Tricks, die jenseits von Halfpipe und Rampe möglich sind.  

Auch für die ganz Kleinen ist gesorgt: Neben dem Brettverleih der Jugendförderung bietet das Team von B´Skateboarding einen Schnupperkurs für Einsteiger an. Unter fachkundiger Anleitung kann jeder der auf einem Brett stehen kann seine ersten Rollanläufe probieren. Zum Abschluss des Tages wird es einen Mini-Cup für den Nachwuchs geben.

Wer am Skateboard-Contest teilnehmen möchte, kann sich ab 11 Uhr vor Ort anmelden. Bewertet wird neben Trick-Level und Gesamtnutzung des Parks die Kriterien Kreativität, Konsistenz, Style und Flow. Für alle Teilnehmer beträgt das Startgeld 3,- Euro.
