“Tell me again why I need to come down?” You ask, exaggerating a loud sigh of annoyance.
You can practically hear the way Cole rolls his eyes over the phone. “Zane asked me to call you down since he’s busy. Wouldn’t want to leave him hanging, would you?”
The call had come before class started, just as you entered and placed your bag down in the empty seat beside you. To your surprise, Cole’s name appears on the phone screen. It’d been a couple days since you had dinner together after losing a bet, so receiving a call from him is lowkey a(n) (unwelcome) surprise.
Upon picking up, a husky voice greets you with the barest of formalities before practically ordering you to come to the monastery after your lectures. As much as you hate to admit it, you blushed a little at his voice before clearing your throat and firing back a mean remark because c’mon, who said he could use animosity against the sun as an excuse to be rude to you?
“Unfortunately for you guys, I’m not so free as to travel all the way to the other side of Ninjago City on a whim.” Someone moves in the corner of your eyes, turning to see the girl who returned your wallet to you the other day wave sheepishly.
You move away the bag, allowing her to sit down in the now-empty space. “Hey,” You greet her quietly, pulling the phone away from your ear and covering the mic while ignoring whatever Cole’s saying.
“Hi,” She whispers back shyly, “It’s me, Holly.” She adds, noticing the quiet struggle you’re having trying to remember her name. Exhaling in relief, you smile sheepishly at her. “Don’t worry about it,” she says softly, turning to take out her materials and prepare for class.
“You there? Hello?”
Whoops. He’s annoyed now.
“Yeah, I’m still here. So at a cafe then? I’ll text you the location. Okay class is starting soon see you bye!”
“WHAT THE FU-”
You end the call in a hurry, pressing the red button just as Cole’s loud cry of protest starts.
Placing it on the table, you pull out a notebook from your bag and some stationary before finally turning back to Holly who’d been minding her own business. “Sorry about that.” She tilts her head with a chuckle.
“It’s fine,” She dismisses it easily. “I’ve heard rumours about this professor though, he always gives loads of group projects. My cousin told me writing a blog is a compulsory assignment.”
Dismay sets in at the thought of having to come up with writing an entire blog by yourself, slumping back in your seat with a loud groan. “Maybe it’s not too late to drop out of the course.” Your muttered words draw an unexpected laugh, taking unbridled joy at seeing Holly dissolve into a fit of giggles.
“Mood. But hopefully, it won’t be that bad. Maybe we’ll even get partnered up!” The thought of doing the project with someone you at least know cheers you up somewhat, sitting up in your seat with mildly renewed energy.
The professor enters with prominent dark circles around her eyes, scanning the people in her class before plopping down at her desk with a steaming cup of black coffee in hand and a laptop in the other.
“I’ll get this straight. I have an attendance requirement of 75% - blame the university, not me. As long as you let me finish my lesson, I don’t really care what you do in class as long as it isn’t disruptive. Lastly, there’re extra credit assignments you can take in the course material.”
Just as she finishes speaking, you notice a couple of students open their laptops and put on muted videos of Subway Surfers with their eyes still on the professor. She doesn’t seem to care at all like she’s mentioned earlier, taking a big swig of her coffee before she continues.
“I’m not contactable outside working hours because I have a life, but I’ll get back to you when I can. Additionally,” She pauses, looking around the room with a scrutinising eye. You stare at her blankly, waiting for her to continue. The tip of your pen barely brushes against the thin paper of your notebook, mildly taken aback by how aloof she is.
“Some of your relatives who’ve attended my lessons might’ve told you about my assignments. I’d like to make it clear that I’m changing it up this year. The first project you’ll be doing is starting a business. As long as you demonstrate that you understand the basis and foundation of all the stuff I’m teaching, the business can be about anything.”
The projector flashes for a moment, showing the bright screen of her laptop where she’d already pre-assigned partners beforehand. Your name appears next to Holly’s. Both of you turn to each other with excited grins.
“Now, who’ll volunteer to be the TA?”
The utter silence that falls over everyone should’ve been the first warning sign. It’s only after Holly pokes your arm with a pencil that you realise everyone’s looking at you. The professor follows their gazes, patiently waiting for you to respond.
Just perfect.
Holly’s guilty smile suggests that she wouldn’t have volunteered on your behalf even if you are beginning to be friends. So, you lift your hand begrudgingly with a resigned sigh. “I volunteer as tribute.”
The professor nods in approval, blinking almost owlishly as a realisation of sorts dawns on her. “Have I told you guys my name yet?”
Maybe it’s not too late to drop out after all.

Musketeer [ 02:11 PM ]: we cld always not be
Cake Enthusiast [ 02:11 PM ]: thats fair
Musketeer [ 02:11 PM ]: anyw see u at 3
It’s been at least a month or so since you both found out you were soulmates, but neither of you had properly acknowledged what to do. After all, it’s awkward any time one of you brings it up even slightly as if it’s a tacit agreement to swerve around the topic.
Through the banter and snarky remarks, there’s always an underlying question of ‘What are we?’ that haunts your conversations. Even now, you’re running away from it through text. Through text, of all things. Sure, you’re a coward, but you didn’t remember it being this bad.
Are you friends? Acquaintances? Enemies?
It’s difficult to put a label on it, especially since he hasn’t revealed anything about his feelings towards the whole soulmate thing either. You’ve already made it pretty clear how you feel about it, but it’s almost unnerving how he hasn’t tried to address it either.
The closest label you can slap on the weird relationship between you is probably frenemies? You’re not entirely sure why you’re trying to define what you are even now, but the uncertainty of everything is slowly getting to you.
It’s ironic how you’d always criticise webtoons and romantic movies for never communicating, yet it’s the exact same thing you’re doing right now. Wow. You truly are pathetic.
You lift your head at the sound of your name being called. A sudden coldness presses against your cheek, shocking you out of your thoughts as you flinch away from it. Holly greets you with a warm smile, handing you the bubble tea she’s just held against your face.
“You looked kinda out of it. You didn’t even hear me call you.” Aiming the sharp tip of the straw at the cover, you swiftly poke a hole through it and take a long, slow sip.
“Sorry,” you say through chews, the rubbery texture of the brown sugar pearls giving you something to focus on. “I was thinking about our project.” You can’t have anyone find out about your situation, especially not the students in this school.
She brightens up at the mention, taking out her phone. “Right! I was thinking about it too! Would you like to meet up another day to brainstorm and sort it out?” She turns the screen around to face you, your name prominently displayed in a new contact.
You enter your number quickly on the screen, pressing call. The phone in your hand vibrates, her own number appearing at the top. “Sorry we can’t do it today, I’ve got an appointment.”
“That’s okay.” She seems to not mind, shrugging it off easily. “I’ve got something else on too. My mom needs me to stop by the grocery store to buy some stuff for tonight.” She stands up from the seat. “I’ll text you the details and ideas.”
“Sounds good.” You wave her off, watching her leave with a smile. Holly doesn’t seem so bad. She’s nice, and pretty friendly too. The best part is that she’s never once asked you about the ninja either, even after overhearing your phone call this morning.
You pull out your phone and save her number, adding a little smiley face next to her name. It’s been a hectic day, but knowing you’ve got a potential friend in Holly makes it a bit brighter. With a final glance at the door where she exited, you gather your things and head towards the café, feeling a bit more optimistic about your project.
The walk there is about ten minutes according to Google Maps, though navigating through the roads is tricky. Kids on bikes delivering newspapers scare you at almost every turn, barely managing to avoid getting run over if not for their bells acting as a warning signal.
At least the weather isn’t so bad today, you muse with a smile, enjoying the breeze. If not for the sudden appointment to meet, you would’ve probably gone to the park to find any stray cats or dogs to play with.
Does he like cats?
Maybe not. He seems like a dog person. But then again, he does have a vibe that would draw cats to him. You could put it to the test perhaps. Damn it. You should’ve set the park as the venue to meet.
The visual image of you picking him up and shaking him vigorously to use him as a magnet to attract cats and dogs makes you snort in pure amusement, only for your laugh to die down when you turn the corner.
A jeep is parked right outside a jewellery store, where glass shards litter the sidewalk. The sound of rambunctious laughter fills the air as masked figures shove bags filled with necklaces and bracelets lined with glittering gems into the jeep’s open back.
Your heart skips a beat, eyes widening at the sight of the chaos. One of the robbers, a hulking figure with a crowbar, leans casually against the shattered glass door, smirking as his companions continue their work.
But it’s not the robbers or the wreckage that makes your blood run cold. Among the masked figures is one that stands out—a familiar lean figure cloaked in dark clothing, a distinctive mask hiding their features. You recognize the thief instantly, the same one who’d caused a fiasco at the museum not too long ago, making off with a priceless artefact right under the noses of everyone. The memory of that night flashes through your mind—the smug glint in their eyes, the familiar gadget on their hand that caused a sinkhole….
You pause. Now that you think about it, if it wasn’t for them, you wouldn’t have figured out Cole is your soulmate. So in retrospect, every moment of turmoil you’re facing with the acknowledgement of your fear and cowardice is their fault.
Now, here they are again, caught red-handed in yet another heist. The thief moves with an effortless grace, tossing a heavy bag into the jeep before turning back to the store. Even from this distance, you can sense the arrogance, the thrill they take in outsmarting everyone around them. Your hands clench into fists at your sides, a mix of anger and determination bubbling up.
What are the odds of running into them again? And why here, of all places? Your mind races, torn between the urge to call for help and the reckless impulse to intervene right then and there.
As you edge closer, careful to avoid stepping on any glass shards and pressing your back to the wall, the thief’s head turns slightly, as if sensing your presence. You freeze, holding your breath, hoping to remain unnoticed.
The thief pauses, glancing around with narrowed eyes, but the robbers' loud banter covers any noise you might have made. Well, that is, until you get so caught up in the moment that you forget your phone isn’t on silent.
“JUMP UP KICK BACK WHIP AROUND AND SPIN-”
“Motherfucker-” You mutter, scrambling in a panic to silence Cole’s call. Your chest practically collapses from the shaky exhale after, before holding your breath in a sudden wave of panic.
A quiet crunch echoes through the street, the sound unnaturally loud in the stillness. Slowly, you look up, eyes widening at the sight of the thief standing right outside the store, the other robbers gathered around.
For a moment, you lock eyes—or at least, you think you do, through the mask. An awkward silence hangs in the air, thick and heavy. Your tongue darts out, licking your suddenly dry lips as you desperately try to find a way to escape from the situation.
“So…A great day for robbery, am I right?” The stuttered laughter that tumbles past your lips twists your insides into a nervous knot. Lifting your hand, you gesture to the group. “Carry on then, as you were.”
Silence continues to plague the next few seconds, already severely regretting even opening your mouth at all as the robbers behind the thief glance at each other with uncertainty. The thief studies you closely, their piercing gaze stopping when they widen their eyes. A spark of recognition flickers in the air, and you swear you see the thief's lips twitch into a smirk beneath the mask.
The audacity of this bitch-
Just as you decide to drop your stuff and book it, a familiar voice cuts through the air. "Hey! What’s going on here?" You whip around to see Cole rounding the corner, eyes narrowing as he takes in the scene.
Relief washes over you, knowing you’re not alone, but it’s quickly replaced by a renewed sense of urgency. The robbers have spotted him too, and you can see the tension in their stance from recognising the ninja, readying to fight or flee.
Cole, they’re armed!” you shout, moving to his side. “I think,” you add quickly, correcting yourself. The masked thief’s gaze lingers on you for a second longer, before they turn to the jeep, making a split-second decision.
He shoots you a quick glance, his voice low and steady. “Stay back,” he warns, already moving in front of you. His stance shifts, ready for a fight, his eyes locked on the thieves. “This isn't your lucky day,” he calls out to them, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips as he sizes up the situation.
“Let’s go!” the thief orders, their voice sharp and commanding through the distortion filter. The robbers scramble, abandoning the last of the loot in their haste to jump into the jeep. Engines roar to life, tyres screeching as the vehicle speeds off into the night, leaving behind the shattered jewellery store and a trail of broken glass.
“Wait, that’s not how it’s supposed to go-”
“Shut up and go after them!” He yelps, caught off guard by your forceful grab of his wrist, practically dragging him to chase after the car. “Summon your dragon or something! I don’t know,” you say desperately through rapid pants, the jeep getting further away with each passing second.
“I know what to do!” He retorts with a scoff, making the swift decision to tug you toward him, scooping you up in his arms before doing a front flip. His dragon materialises in an instant, roaring loudly as it flies after the jeep. You blink, the nausea catching up in an instant as you press yourself against his chest, his shirt gripped tightly in your hands.
Slow, deep breaths, you chant to yourself. The moment of weightlessness when he’d suddenly grabbed you was terrifying. It wasn’t the heights or motion that had your stomach churning, but more of the loss of control of your senses in that split moment.
Either way, the musky bergamot scent on his collar mixed with the weird presence of vanilla icing helps calm your racing heart down. “Are you done sniffing me yet?” Your eyes snap open, shifting into an upright position in an instant as you shove him away.
Clearing your throat, you focus your gaze on the jeep that’s a few feet ahead. “Can you go any faster?”
It takes a second for him to respond. “Yeah.” Your clear refusal to turn around and reveal the mortifying shade of red that colours your entire face. You don’t even turn that red when you drink alcohol or exercise.
“Really though?”
His sudden question makes you turn, the offended tone in his voice making you momentarily forget about the heavy flush in your cheeks. “You just had to use that song?”
The moment when your phone rang loudly pops back into your mind, grinning widely with all embarrassment long gone at the reminder. “Can you blame me though? It was perfect. I don’t even have to tell who it is when I pick it up.”
“The band made an appreciation song once,” he sighs, shaking his head. “Whatever. What’s got you so worked up about them anyway? I can just let Kai know to take over.” He pauses at your furrowed brows and tightly drawn lips, taking the hint to fall silent and wait for your explanation.
“The one with the mask… They’re the thief I ran into at the museum. The one who stole the scroll and made a hole in the ground.” His eyes widen at your explanation, inhaling sharply through his teeth with a wince. “That’s why we have to catch them. Isn’t that your job, anyway?”
He shoots you a glance, rolling his eyes. “Yes, that is my job. One that I don’t get paid too well for, by the way.” You blink, the corner of your lips turned down into a sceptical frown.
“Don’t you get sponsorships and stuff? Zane told me about how you guys were models for this protein bar.”
“Don’t even start,” he groans, tilting his head back with an exasperated huff. “I couldn’t go anywhere without seeing the posters.” The dragon swerves to make a hard right, and you almost fall off the saddle if not for his quick reflexes.
“If you wanted to get off, you could’ve just asked,” he states in a sassy manner. You’d love to smack the smug smirk off his face, but at what feels like twenty feet in the air, you're not about to take that risk. Instead, you settle for a grumpy scowl, letting his arm act as your seat belt.
Cole’s dragon swoops lower, bringing you both closer to the ground as the jeep speeds away with the stolen goods. You grip the dragon’s saddle tighter, frustration and determination swirling within you.
“Honestly, it’s like these guys want to get caught,” you mutter under your breath, your eyes locked on the jeep. The thief with the mask is leaning out of the vehicle, seemingly unfazed by the height of the dragon above them.
“They're probably professionals,” Cole replies, his tone light but focused. “But that’s what makes catching them all the more fun.”
“Fun?” you scoff, shooting him a look. “You call this fun?”
He grins, the wind tousling his hair as he manoeuvres the dragon with practised ease. “C’mon, you’ve gotta admit, there’s a thrill to it. Besides, you’re not exactly sitting back and watching.”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t deny the adrenaline pumping through your veins. “Fine, maybe a little,” you admit begrudgingly, though your mind is still on the thief.
As the jeep turns sharply down an alley, Cole’s gaze hardens. “C’mon Rocky,” he urges, the dragon barely acknowledging him with a soft growl. His arm tightens around your waist, pulling you closer as it descends.
Unfortunately, he fails to mention one tiny detail—his plan to dematerialize the dragon upon landing. So, when you both hit the ground and the dragon vanishes, your hands flail, searching desperately for anything to grab onto. Fortunately, his arm is still securely around you.
Well, now it’s more like he’s carrying you by the waist, your legs and arms flailing helplessly in midair. You’re left with an expression of pure, unfiltered defeat as you dangle from his grasp like an oversized sack of potatoes.
“For your information, I’m not enjoying this ninja process.”
He barely acknowledges you with a hum, gently setting you back down onto solid ground. He takes a step back, the earlier warmth of his body heat gone in an instant. You dust yourself off, trying to play off the utter ridiculousness felt from earlier.
The jeep is heading down the alley toward you both. He readies his stance, eyes narrowed from under his gi (when did he even put on the hood, anyway?). You copy him unsurely, knees bent and arms held up in a defensive stance. “Won’t they run us over?”
He snorts. “They wouldn’t dare. I’m the Earth Ninja! They know better than to do that!”
The jeep doesn’t slow down.
“You might know that,” the loud purring of its engine doesn’t decrease. In fact, it does the exact opposite as it speeds up. “But do they??”
With each millisecond that passes, the confidence in his eyes begins to waver. You take a deep breath, blood rushing through your veins in a roaring symphony. At the very last second, you push him out of the way and crash to the ground, landing squarely on top of him.
As you land on top of him, the thief at the wheel locks eyes with you through the open window. Their smug gaze practically beamed through their mask, even honking a couple times as they stick a gloved hand out the window in a mocking farewell.
Frustration bubbles up inside you, and before you can stop yourself, your fist connects with whatever’s beneath you. Unfortunately, that happens to be Cole’s abdomen. His pained hiss snaps you out of it, and you turn to see his grimace. Deciding not to give him an apology after almost getting the both of you run over, you ignore his outstretched hand in a request for help.
“You said they wouldn’t run us over!!”
He takes a deep breath. “Well,” he starts, looking from you to the jeep, “I was wrong.”
You’ve gotta be kidding me.
He groans as he sits up, the sting of your punch still lingering. “But in my defence, who actually tries to run over a ninja?” He gives you a lopsided grin, though you can sense the irritation bubbling beneath its surface.
You don’t give him a moment to recover. “Them, apparently.” Jittery annoyance fuels your pacing. “Can’t we go after them again? Where’s Rocky?”
“I’d love to, but,” he finally manages to stand. “Someone decided to punch me and leave me winded.”
"Don’t blame me for saving your life," you snap. The adrenaline is still thrumming through your veins, making your hands shake as you shove them into your pockets. "Besides, you’re the one who said they wouldn’t dare."
Cole rolls his eyes, his expression softening when he spots the slightest tremble that you try to hide. "Okay, fair point. But we’ve gotta figure out our next move before they get too far."
You stop pacing, turning to face him. "Right, so where’s Rocky? Or are we gonna jog after them like idiots?"
He glances around the alley, his brow furrowing. "Rocky needs time to recharge after dematerializing, so we’re on foot for now." He catches the look on your face and quickly adds, "But I’ve got an idea. There’s a shortcut through the market district. If we hustle, we might catch up before they get too far."
You let out an exasperated sigh, but you nod, already mentally preparing for the sprint. "Fine, lead the way. But if we end up lost, I’m blaming you."
Cole chuckles, already starting down the alley at a fast jog. "Trust me, you’re gonna love my shortcuts."
As you follow him, the banter between you eases some of the tension. Despite the annoyance simmering beneath the surface, there’s a strange comfort in the rhythm of your bickering. You might not be thrilled about this whole soulmate business, but in moments like this, you can almost see why fate would pair you two together.
Almost.
The roar of the jeep’s engine is familiar to your ears, practically sensing it coming down the last of the twists and turns he’s led you through. “C’mon!” You urge him quickly, sprinting the last few metres to see the jeep turn the corner.
You glare through the windshield at the thief whose eyes widen in pure shock, not having expected you to get there so quickly. Satisfaction makes your heart calm, spotting Cole’s narrowed eyes filled with determination.
He skids to a stop beside you, lifting his arms and slamming them into the ground. The earth rumbles, responding to his will. A crater forms instantly in the jeep’s path. The driver has no time to react, plummeting into it. The jeep flips violently, crashing into the far side.
A plume of smoke is sent up from the impact, and you begin to approach it before flinching when it explodes right in front of your eyes. Instinctively shielding yourself from the debris, you turn to look at Cole in disbelief.
“That wasn’t me!” He denies vehemently, holding his hands up innocently and shaking his head as the jeep behind you is engulfed in flames. The smell of burnt rubber and gasoline fills the air, onlookers whispering to each other and taking out phones to record the scene.
You take a tentative step forward, sharing a glance with him as you approach the wreckage. You squint through the haze, expecting to see the robbers either unconscious or scrambling to escape.
The embers die down, someone having grabbed a fire extinguisher and extinguished the flames until all that’s left is smoke. But when it clears, you find the jeep completely empty, save for the stolen jewellery scattered in the backseat. The robbers have vanished, leaving behind only the glittering spoils of their heist.
“They’re gone,” you mutter, half in disbelief. Cole steps closer, examining the wreckage with a frown.
“Must’ve bailed right before the crash somehow,” he says, his tone laced with frustration. He turns to you, the remnants of the battle still lingering in his tense posture. “At least we got the jewellery back.”
You nod, though your eyes linger on the destroyed jeep, wondering just how close you were to catching them. The tension in the air slowly dissipates as the reality of the situation sinks in, but the mystery of the robbers’ disappearance only adds to the unease.
The aftermath of it all is pretty straightforward. The jewellery is returned to the store owner, though Cole gives you a stern glare when he catches you discreetly trying to negotiate for a reward. Frowning in defeat, you give up when he threatens to tell Master Wu.
“You’re still a snitch, y’know.” He takes a sip from the bubble tea in his hands. Your bubble tea, in fact. The ice had already melted a long time ago so the drink was already horribly diluted, but he still insisted on finishing it instead of throwing it away.
“Even if I am,” he exhales slowly, his slow strides matching your lazy walking pace. “At least we kind of got a look at them. Maybe Zane can draw a composite sketch. I’ll let Jay know to update the police stations, and for Kai to keep a lookout during his patrol.”
“Teamwork really does make the dream work.”
“Yeah, I guess we do make a good team.” Your playful grin falters at his response, looking away from him to the buildings opposite. The words held no ulterior hidden meaning, yet the thrumming of your heartbeat distracts you from properly focusing on the conversation.
A moment of hesitation is all he needs to grab your wrist, steps slowing to a halt. Your eyes flit from his hand to his concerned eyes, barely able to breathe. He watches you carefully, lips parting and closing as he tries to organise his thoughts. Finally, he formulates a proper sentence, uttering the exact one you’ve been dreading to hear.
“I think we need to talk. About us.”
Shit.

How to Refund a Game on Steam: A Comprehensive Guide
Are you a Steam user who’s purchased a game only to realize it’s not quite what you expected? Don’t worry; Steam offers a refund policy that allows you to return games under certain conditions. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps of how to refund a game on Steam so that you can make more informed gaming decisions and ensure your money is well-spent.
Understanding Steam’s Refund Policy
Before we dive into the process of requesting a refund, let’s understand Steam’s refund policy:
Time Limit: You can request a refund for a game on Steam within 14 days of purchase, as long as you’ve played the game for less than two hours. This time frame and playtime limit are crucial to keep in mind.
Reasons for Refund: Steam allows refunds for various reasons, including if the game doesn’t work properly on your system, if it was purchased by mistake, or if you simply didn’t enjoy it.
Payment Method: Refunds will typically be returned to the same payment method you used for the purchase. However, if this isn’t possible, it might be credited to your Steam Wallet.
Now that you know the basics, let’s proceed with the steps to refund a game on Steam:
Step 1: Accessing Steam Support
Open your Steam client on your computer.
Go to the “Help” menu and select “Steam Support.”
Step 2: Finding the Game to Refund
In the Steam Support window, click on “Games, Software, etc.”
Find the game you want to refund and select it from the list.
Step 3: Initiating the Refund Request
After selecting the game, you’ll see several options. Choose “I would like a refund” from the dropdown menu.
Steam will ask you to confirm your request, and you’ll need to select a reason for the refund. Be honest in your explanation; Steam considers this when processing refunds.
Click on “Submit Request.”
Step 4: Waiting for Approval
Steam will review your request, taking into account the reason and playtime. If your request meets the criteria, it will be approved.
You will receive an email notification confirming the refund has been approved.
Step 5: Receiving the Refund
Once your refund is approved, the funds will be returned to your original payment method. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
Additional Tips and Considerations
Steam Wallet: If you used your Steam Wallet to make the purchase, the refund will be credited to your Steam Wallet, which you can use for future Steam purchases.
In-Game Purchases: Refunds for in-game purchases work similarly. You can request a refund for in-game items or currency, as long as it meets Steam’s refund policy criteria.
DLC and Bundles: You can also request refunds for downloadable content (DLC) and game bundles. However, if you’ve played any game from a bundle for more than two hours, you may not be eligible for a refund.
Contacting Steam Support: If you encounter any issues during the refund process or have unique circumstances, don’t hesitate to reach out to Steam Support for assistance. They are generally responsive and helpful in resolving refund-related inquiries.
In conclusion, Steam’s refund policy provides gamers with a reasonable safety net, allowing you to explore new titles with confidence. Just remember to adhere to the time and playtime limits, and always provide honest and accurate reasons when requesting a refund. With this guide, you can navigate the process of how to refund a game on Steam and make more informed gaming choices.

d4u || no such thing as free coffee
Tumblr media
dec. 2018. i’ve been working as a barista now for a few months, and i actually quite like my job. jungkook likes to visit every once in a while to bother me while i work. he came in this morning too.
pairing: best friend!jungkook x reader
genre: slice of life, humor
word count: 1.1k
warnings: n/a
You never thought that coffee could be your saving grace in so many ways. Ever since you started university, caffeine became a reliable way to feel awake in the mornings. The campus coffee shop was also well-known for its affordable prices for students, easily fostering your growing reliance on it. Right when you decided to take a bit of a caffeine cleanse for the sake of your mental and physical health, your credit card bills decided to bring out a fresh batch of nightmares for your enjoyment. Given the price of rent in a popular college town, the fact that you had a hard time refraining from purchasing random knick-knacks, and the expensive textbooks your professors demanded for courses…you really shouldn’t have expected your bank account to stay above water. Coincidentally, or perhaps all according to the nefarious plans of the coffee bean, the coffee shop at your school was hiring at this exact time. The location made it convenient for you to head to classes right after, the pay and accompanying tips could definitely more than ease the weight on your credit card, and baristas had access to all drinks and pastries on their shifts. What’s not to love?
Early mornings signaled the start of rush hour, as cold weather plus a half-awake student made hot coffee the answer to a simple problem. As you push through the door, a familiar tinkle sounds and your co-worker turns to look towards you. You give her a small shy smile, still feeling a little awkward at your new job.
“Y/N!” Luce waves you over excitedly as soon as her customer grabs their drink and trudges out the door.
“You’re working this shift too?” you ask as you head to the back to drop off your backpack and find your apron. The simple navy blue design with your name stitched in golden thread was definitely another bonus of working at Deja Brew. As you begin tying the straps behind your back, Luce rushes in behind you with a skip in her step.
“You bet,” she winks, “Let me know if you have any questions at all! I know you’ve been here for a few weeks but…remembering all the recipes can be a bit tough.”
After promising her you’d do so, you look at your wrists for a hair tie, to which your ever-observant coworker hands you one of her own without a word. You give her a grateful smile before following her outside to meet the incoming throng of zombies demanding caffeine.
The last hour passed like a blur before your eyes with you deadly focused on remembering the number of shots each drink required and whether espresso or milk came first. Luce was definitely the most helpful shift lead you’ve worked with so far, and you were grateful for her patience and uncanny way of assisting at the exact moments you were starting to grow anxious. You always took things seriously, especially when you knew it reflected poorly on yourself and others by association when you slipped up. You’ve learned that an angry customer was not a fun one, so you did your best to pay absolute attention to details lest you wanted to feel like jumping off the face of the Earth.
Speaking of mistakes causing you to jump off the face of the Earth, you withheld the sigh that threatened to escape you when you heard a familiar voice call your name out from the entrance of the cafĂŠ. Wiping down the ceramic mug in your hands, you stopped to admire the pretty Evergreen trees painted on it while Jungkook bounded over to the register with a backpack slung haphazardly across his shoulder.
“To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing your face at 8 AM in the morning?” you tease, turning to set the mug back on its place on the shelf.
He grins widely, before leaning in as if he wanted to tell you a secret. Instead, you crossed your arms in front of you with an unamused look on your face. It was way too early for any of his antics, and if he barged into your workplace to tell you what rank he was in Overwatch now after grinding all of last night, you’re pretty sure you’d fireman carry his ass outside the premises immediately. Try to, at least.
“Can her majesty bless her fool with banana bread on this fine winter morning?” his brown eyes widen with hope as he continues with a cheeky smile, “There is a possibility that I may have overslept and didn’t have time to make breakfast.”
As great as Deja Brew’s banana bread was, you knew that it was on the pricey end of breakfast pastries. Given the fact that Jungkook refused to get a part-time job and relied exclusively on donations from his 25 Twitch followers to sustain his lifestyle, better judgement told you that he should probably save the $4.50 on the next pack of Jin ramen he’s buying this weekend.
Extending your hand, you give him an expectant look which he matches with a dumbfounded one of his own.
“Trying to hold my hand or something?”
“No, you single-celled organism. Give me your card,” you state back at his teasing question. He seems to briefly consider all the unicellular organisms of the world you just insulted before shoving his hand into his pocket to search for his wallet.
Once his ragged card is in your hands (surely this thing has seen better days), you make a show of pressing random things on the cash register monitor. Afterwards, you slide his card just outside of the chip reader’s sensor for a few seconds before slipping the card into the chest pocket of his t-shirt. As you pull the right side of his jacket closer to the center of his chest-- he never did worry about catching a cold in mid-December did he, you happen a glance into his eyes to find him looking at you with amusement.
As the thickest piece of chocolate chip banana bread spins around in the cafĂŠ microwave, you pull out some skim milk from the fridge and steam it for a bit with the espresso machine. Jungkook never really enjoyed coffee, instead getting hyped for banana milk and other drinks most children averaging 7 years of age would enjoy. The milk pitcher grew warm to the touch in a matter of seconds, to which you pulled out a small to-go coffee cup so he could carry the beverage to class with him.
“Here”, you hand him the warm banana bread and milk after affixing a lid to the top of the cup, “I warmed up some milk for you as well since you’re the biggest baby I’ve ever met.”
“Did you just call me baby?”
“Please perish.”
He laughs before loudly announcing to every human being in the vicinity, “Thanks sugar momma.”
Dashing out of the building with his long legs and a half-hearted wave, Jungkook leaves you with a room full of giggling whispers and wide-eyed stares.
You make a mental reminder to start a campfire tonight and use the pages of his weeb comics as fuel.

Hot Coffee ÂŤ Choi San (RW)
Tumblr media
original warnings: none word count: 3359
You look up from the ground in front of you and smile as you notice the little black corner shop quickly coming into your view with every step you take. Your hand grabs the metal door handle, the palm of you hand instantly freezing due to the lowering temperatures of the fast approaching winter. You’re just waiting for the snow fall to come, so you can enjoy the pretty white scene of what the city becomes, especially overnight.
A small little bell chimes as you open the door and enter, causing a pool of black hair with a strong silver streak to pop up, stoping his spot in the book he’s so engrossed in. The barista brightly smiles at you, his dimples caving deep into his cheeks.
“Y/N! You’re here much earlier than usual,” he slightly giggles as he calls for you barely containing his excitement. Some times you wonder what goes on in his head or if he’s mentally five.
“My last class got canceled last minute today, again,” you lie. Well you’re not entirely lying. Your class did actually get canceled today last minute, but you’ve ditched this class two other times now and you’ve told San that the class has been canceled. Truth be told you’re trying to avoid a couple of girls who have been harassing you for the past two months, and you just need a break.
“Do you want your usual?” San asks, already grabbing one of the large black cups. You nod you head and mumble a please. San smiles your way before moving towards the coffee station and begins to make your favorite drink. It’s not even a drink you can order on the menu, but because you come here so often San would make you new drinks all the time till you decided a favorite. You discovered this place in the beginning of the school year. San worked most days since he’s enrolled in mostly online classes. You like to come to the small coffee shop to work mostly on your graphic design assignments. You tend to find inspiration in little places that you are most comfortable in. The shop has only a handful of tables, but your favorite seat is on the bar attached to San’s entire work space. Most of the walls are windowed from top to bottom with black framing. San had recently even been hanging up plants around the shop to give it another spark of life. The shop isn’t much but it’s comfortable to you, and you can freely work in the environment.
San gently slides the drink across the countertop towards you, a small little trail of steam coming from the hole in the lid. You go to reach for your wallet in your bag, but San stops you.
“You know you don’t have to pay for you drinks,” San tells you.
“San,” you whine, “that’s not fair to everyone else. You need to stop giving me drinks for free.”
“Not everyone is like you,” San winks before walking off to go wipe down the equipment he just used. You feel a little bit of heat rise to your cheeks, and you take your drink and move to the bar on the side of San’s work station. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t have a crush on San. He’s one of the sweetest people you’ve ever met. You both were a little quiet at first but you two quickly grew comfortable with each other due to you coming everyday to the coffee shop. Your conversations grew from just “hey how are you?” to “if you’re going to put that much cinnamon power into my drink I might as well snort it.” And to add a cherry on top, you’ve developed a small, little, tiny winy….. okay maybe it’s not small- BUT you have a crush on the cute, flirty barista who is also one of your friends. For all you know you could be friend zoned, so there is a little dilemma. You don’t really plan on telling San about your feelings, you’d rather deal with them until they go away than risk what you have now- because what you have now is really nice.
You set your drink on the counter and pull yourself into one of the high standing chairs. You then pull out your tablet and pull up your newest project you’ve been working on for a past couple days.
“What are you working on now?” San walks over to his side of the station connected to the bar where you are sitting at and rests his arms on top of the coffee machines.
“We have to create logo’s,” you tell him, “they can be for real companies or just made up.” You turn your tablet to show San the three different logo designs you’ve started. Each different logo representing a different company. One of them happens to be a design for the coffee shop you’re at- the other two are for made up companies.
“Is that one for here?” San asks, lighting up even more pointing to a small floral design, “look how detailed it is. All the flowers. They’re so pretty. Especially the big one in the middle.” You look over at your design and your eyes land on the giant water lily. “Are you about to color it all in?”
“I will when I’m finished with the other two designs. Why do you have suggestions?” You asks looking back at San with a smile and a small laugh at his deep interest in your assignment.
“No, no, no,” San laughs as he stands back up straight, “just curious. I think it’s going to be pretty no matter what you do with it.” You feel the blush quickly return to your cheeks but quickly push away the butterflies.
“I hope it turns out good. Maybe you’ll be able to use it for the shop,” You tell San as you pick up your stylus and begin working on one of the other designs.
“You know I’d love to,” San winks at you, “I’ll have to show my boss. Doubt he’ll say no, you’re talented.”
“Ah, thank you, San,” you laugh shyly, “I’m no professional. I still have a long way before I’m considered good.”
“Stop beating yourself up, Y/N,” San laughs, “you’re really talented. I hope someday you’ll see that.” You smile and look away from San, trying to cover you cheeks from another wave of pink. Why can’t you just seem to maintain your cool today? You look back at your designs and enlarge the image of one of the unfinished designs and begin working away. San begins to clean down his counter but looks over his shoulder your way. He loves the way you engross yourself into your work and the way your eyes light up when you finally get the look you’re wanting for your design. He knows you take pride in what you do and how much you love it. He just doesn’t understand why you’re so hard on yourself all the time. You never seem proud of any work you do. Yeah everyone can beat themselves up because they don’t think they did the best job they could, but you just never seem to be proud of anything you make. But little does San know the reason why you’re so hard on yourself is because of the girls that harass you. They always find a way to point out flaws to your professor when presenting or whisper about how anything you do isn’t as nice as everyone else’s, things like that. It’s created this unhealthy mental mindset in you, and you can’t seem to shake it.
You realize time has passed when San refills your cup for a third time, which means you are most definitely not sleeping tonight unless you manage to get all this energy out of you. The sun has begin to reach it’s spot on the horizon.
“Have you started coloring yet?” San asks as he fills up your cup.
“A little,” you tell him as you zoom out from the first logo, the one San really likes, “I’m just messing around with colors to see what I like.” San leans past your shoulder to get a closer look at your tablet. His face just inches away from yours looking at the design. You watch as his eyes jump around looking at the little elements and the colors you have picked out at the moment. The corner of his eyes crinkle and his little dimples pop onto his cheeks along with a smile. He begins to speak but his words don’t reach your ears. You trying to remember to breathe and to not make a fool of yourse-
“Y/N?” San asks waving his hand in front of your face. His face turned towards yours and a slight look of worry replaced his smile. You blink a couple times and focus on San who breaks out of his worry and back into a smile. “You’re so cute. I’ll be back I think I have customers. I want to see the other designs!” You nod your head and the boy hurries back to get behind the counter. You put your head down and your hands cover your mad red cheeks. Seriously what is up with you today? At this rate San will definitely figure out you like him. You close your eyes and take a few deep breaths before looking back up at your tablet, and get back to work. You zoom back into your logo and begin coloring in another petal of the water lily.
“I’m going to head into the back to grab more coffee grounds. Yell if anyone walks in,” San tells you hand resting on your shoulder to grab your attention. You nod your head and watch the boy disappear into the back before turning back to your work.
“Well, well, well. Look what we found,” an all too familiar venomous voice breaks your train of thought. Your breath hitches slightly and you look up at the two girls standing in front of you.
“Is there something you need? Or no?” You ask, almost deadpan. This is the last place you want to see them, especially since it’s your one safe happy place.
“No,” she answers then looks around the shop, “figures you would come here. Must be where you get all your ridiculous ideas from. Makes sense; there is no inspiration. But…. you got a cute barista, so I’ll give you some credit.”
“Leave him alone,” you warn her with a flat tone. The last thing you need is for San to be brought into whatever beef you have with these girls.
“What’s with the attitude? We’re trying to be nice,” the other girl growls.
“Nice? You’re joking, right?” You ask, “you come in here, insult a place I like to be at, and my designs in one sentence.”
“You need to learn to keep your mouth shut,” the first girl tells you, voice low and threatening. You can feel your heart beat against your shirt. You know you can’t give up, not this time. You take in a deep slow breath to clam your nerves and the two girls stand there watching you, unsure of what you are going to do or say.
“Apologize,” the first girl demands.
“No,” you immediately answer her.
“No?” She asks almost taken aback with your sudden boldness she or her friend have never seen before. You go to open your mouth again to repeat yourself but your stopped when you feel a burning hot splash against your skin. A sudden high pitches scream escapes your lungs in reaction. You hear something heavy hit the floor and you and the two other girls look behind you at San who’s eyes widen. At his feet most of the coffee grounds have spilt out of bags and spread across the floor. The girls instantly make their way for the exit and you pull your coffee soaked shirt away from your body, but it doesn’t stop the burning sensation that’s already on your skin.
“Y/N,” San hurries up to you and quickly looks over your shirt and parts of your blistering skin that’s already exposed.
“It burns,” you tell him, your voice wavering just above a whisper. You breathing is shaky and a couple tears fall down your cheeks.
“We’re going to get you cleaned up, come on,” San helps you off your chair and guides you into the backroom and towards the break room. He clears off a section of a desk and has you sit on it while he heads to the other side of the room and he grabs the first aid kit from a cabinet. He opens the small box and looks around at what he has to work with. He takes another look at you and see’s that the skin on your color bones and neck have been to shrivel up.
“You’re going to need to take off your shirt for me to clean up the burns,” San quietly tells you. You’re slightly hesitant but you nod your head since you 1) don’t want to argue about it 2) want to get the burning shirt off of you. As you begin to take the shirt off San turns away and heads to his locker pulling out another shirt.
“Here, you can hold this up,” San holds out the shirt without looking your direction just so you’re not uncomfortable. You take the shirt and wrap it around your chest and even take off your bra after since it’s also soaks but most of the hot liquid was absorbed in the padding and so it just felt warm and you don’t think there are any burns. You whisper you’re good and San turns to face you again. He gives you a comforting smile before pulling out antiseptic wipes from the first aid kit. You make a small hissing noise when he first touches your irritated skin and you even slightly flinch away.
“I know it’s going to hurt,” San tells you, feeling slightly guilty that he’s going to hurt you just to make sure you get better, “squeeze my hand when it really hurts.” San takes your free hand. He begins cleaning your burns once again and you sit through the stinging feeling, but when he reaches your collar bone you squeeze his hand and he stops for a moment. He gives you a minute before he begins to lightly touch your collar bone again. San then tosses out the wipe and pulls out two small packets of an antibiotic lotion and dabs it onto your skin lightly but making sure it was being rubbed into your skin well enough. The lotion feels cool to your skin and you can almost relax. You watch San as he focus’s on making sure every burn is taken care of. You almost forget you’re still holding his hand.
“All done,” San lightly smiles at you as he closes the top of the first aid kit and tosses out the antibiotic packets he used, “you can put that shirt on.” As San goes to put the kit away you quickly pull the shirt over your head and push your arms through the sleeves. San’s unmistakable cologne fills your nose and you look down at the giant sweater. The lilac sweater is already giant on San, so it easily swallows you.
You slide of the desk, and when the sound of your shoes hitting the floor reaches San’s ears he knows it’s safe to turn around. He smiles sweetly seeing you in his sweater, you look like a little puppy in it.
“Had I known you looked this cute in my clothes I would of let you wear them sooner,” San teases as he walks back up to you, His head pushed further out from his body as he leans forward, and his hands are behind his back. When he reaches you, though, he stands up straight and his smile drops as he looks at you. He raises his hand and gently trucks some hair behind your ear.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” San asks, he feels like he’s been stabbed and it’s evident in his voice.
“San,” you start as you look down at your hands, which you pick at your fingers, “you shouldn’t have to worry about me.”
“Hey,” San states as he gently grabs your face and lifts it up to face him, “I will always worry about you.” Your heart immediately flutters just at the simple idea that San wonders about you even when you’re not with him. The two of you stare at each other for a moment before San moves his hand to the side of your face and begins to lean towards you. You close your eyes and feel his lips meet yours for a moment before he pulls away.
“How lon-“
“I’ve liked you for a while. I’m surprised you didn’t pick up on it,” San slightly giggles, “ever since you did that little doodle of me.” You think back a couple months ago when you had come to the coffee shop with no assignments to do so you sat and doodles San as he worked through his shift.
“I didn’t know you saw that drawing,” you whisper looking away and awkward scratching the side of your head. San laughs and wraps his arms around you, holding you close to his chest. You can feel his chest vibrating from the laugh.
“Come on,” San pulls away as he stops laughing, “I’ll walk you back to your apartment. I can close the shop for today once I clean up the coffee I dropped.”
“You don’t have you,” you quickly tell him, shaking your hands out in front of him, “I don’t want to be a bother.”
“A bother? Y/N,” San lightly laughs and grabs your hands, “you could never be a bother. Why can’t you see that? You mean a lot to me, and I don’t want anything to happen to you. Not anymore. So, please, let me walk you home.”
“Okay,” you whisper and nod your head. San smiles with your response and the two of you head back out into the coffee shop. Most customers had already left and San gave a heads up to those who remained. He flipped the open sign and grabs a broom and begins to sweep up all the coffee grounds on the floor. You sit patiently in one of the other bar chairs with your things all packed up.
Once San had finished, he grabs his bag, and stops you from putting yours on your shoulders. Something along the lines of him not wanting you to irritate the burns any further or getting them infected. You let San take your bag knowing he’ll whine if you don’t and the two of you make your way to your apartment. You invite San inside and he’s surprised with the style of your apartment and how you chose to decorate it. It’s not the last thing he thought it would be, but it definitely wasn’t his first. None-the-less San’s more than impressed with your style and even suggests you be an interior designer. The two of you enjoy the rest of the day watching tv and even cook a simple dinner together. Half-way through one of the movies you guys decided to turn on you fall asleep, your head resting against San’s chest as he has one arm wrapped around you. He only notices you fell asleep when he hears your light snores. He smiles and pulls you a little closer and makes sure the blanket you have is completely on you. San also takes the time to grab your tablet from the coffee table and begins an email to your design professors letting them know about what had happen today. He doesn’t specifically know which class you have with those two girls but he’s just playing safe and contacting all the professors anyway. He isn’t going to let anything or one else hurt you.

Last First Date Jitters (1/?)
Synopsis:  Men are pigs. Josef will tell you that with confidence. When he tells you some men are wolves, you have to wonder which he is. Warnings: None (yet) Pt 2 Ao3 Link:  https://archiveofourown.org/works/25568362/chapters/62046643
Ping
You lift your phone screen and glance at the notification out of the corner of your eye. More often than you’d care to admit, you would browse Tinder after work as a way to blow off steam. Something about the swiping was pleasing. Though that was usually as fun as it would get for you.
With every passing day, you were becoming convinced that there wasn’t a single person worth talking to on there. So was it even worth it to check tonight?
You drop your phone again and lie flat on your back. You were still in your work clothes but your bed was just so inviting…
You jolt awake, realizing you’d started to doze off for a moment. With a drawn out sigh, you force yourself to sit up and get undressed. After tossing the dirty clothes into a hamper, you slip into some worn out sweats and a t-shirt that had been banished to the pajama drawer.
Perfect, now you’re awake. Now you had an excuse to needlessly judge strangers for half an hour before you inevitably succumbed to exhaustion. Once again you get comfortable, before opening the standard notification letting you know your profile had gotten likes.
After only a few minutes you’re starting to feel bored with it though. Maybe it was just starting to lose it’s novelty. You swipe a few more times absentmindedly, but snap out of your trance as you land on “Josef”.
He isn’t half bad looking, and his bio is simple if not a little cheesy. It says he’s looking for an adventure, and lists a few of his likes and dislikes. To his credit, this is the first profile you’d seen that mentioned Interview With The Vampire to any capacity.
There wasn’t any harm in swiping on him, it certainly wasn’t hard to block people when things went poorly over text.
You swipe right, and you have to admit you’re a little surprised to see you’d matched. There wasn’t anything about your profile that really screamed “adventure”, you didn’t think.
As you look through his photos again, just to get a better idea of what you’re dealing with, you get a message. It’s from him. Had he using the app at the same time? You glance at the clock, which reads 2:30 AM, before opening the new message.
“Hey, Y/N!”
The typing bubble is still on the screen so you don’t bother responding right away.
“You can probably tell I’ve never done this, so I’ll be blunt. I’m looking for a partner in crime, a real adventurous soul.”
This time you do start to try to piece together a reply, but before you know it he’s typing again, so you delete it without a second thought.
“Or were you just looking for a hookup?”
You snort and quirk your eyebrow, staring at the screen in confusion. It wasn’t exactly the most polite opener you’d ever gotten but it was far from the worst.
This time you get a moment to think of something to say, and you feel like he’s just watching his own screen eagerly.
“I’m just going with the flow.”
After you’ve sent it, you can’t help but physically cringe. What a lame fucking response.
But he’s already typing, he’d started almost as soon as you’d hit send.
“That’s the spirit! Would you like to meet up some time? I know a great local spot.”
Immediately your mind is throwing excuses to bail at you. It seems your time chatting with other users had made you somewhat jaded. It would be nice to go out for coffee though, even if he wasn’t a good date, what’s the worst that could happen?
“Sure, where and when?”
“Free tomorrow?”
“I can be.”
He sends you the address, it’s not a place you recognize but it isn’t out of the way. When you thank him, and dismiss yourself for the night, he doesn’t respond. Maybe he’d passed out himself.
————————
In the morning you struggled to find the motivation to get up and ready for your date. It had been so long since you’d even been on one at all, let alone a good one. When your phone buzzes you perk up a little.
Come on, Josef. Give me something.
It isn’t him though, it’s someone else on the app. They open with “Hey”, and you decide you’d rather take the risk by going on a date instead of subjecting yourself to 10 dead-end conversations a day.
Getting into the morning routine helps a little. Once you’ve had a nice, hot shower you feel more energized. Time was passing a little faster than you’d like though, you’d spent so much of it trying to decide on what to wear, you were going to have to leave shortly after getting dressed.
Much to your own surprise, you make it there right on time. Now… did you order first or look around for him? Assuming he’d already arrived.
“Y/N?”
When you first glance around, you don’t see anyone even looking in your direction. You assume you were just hearing things. Until you turn back around and jolt back. There stood Josef, beaming down at you. You hold your chest and sigh, chuckling a little to yourself.
“Nice to meet you too.”
“I didn’t mean to startle you,” he says with an infectious smile.
“You weren’t waiting here long, were you?”
“Just a minute or two, don’t worry.”
He takes a few slow steps forward, leading the way to the line. Is it rude to assume he’ll pay? You brought your wallet anyway, but usually when the other person asked you out-
“What can I get started for you?”
The cashier’s words interrupt your needlessly frantic train of thought. Now you had something else to panic about.
“Just a coffee; cream and sugar, please.”
Maybe it’s just your brain trying to torment you but you feel as though Josef’s eyes are boring into you. Judging or admiring, who could say.
“Same for me, thanks.”
He does thankfully foot the bill, and doesn’t seem to think twice about it.
“Where do you want to sit? Or, and I know this is crazy but hear me out, we could walk around the park for a little bit.”
You can’t help but smile when that silly grin spreads across his face. It was nice enough out, and you weren’t completely lost in the area. Plus, it’s a park, there would be plenty of people around.
“A walk sounds nice.”
