It is 1920, and in a sleepy Sussex village, an elderly beekeeper (who is definitely not the world’s greatest detective… any more) is  trying to arrange a very important picnic for his dear friend Watson. The only problem is that a series of pesky mysteries keep  getting in the way!

So I've been trying to make one game a month. I have really been enjoying making games in pico-8 before which I was developing a lot of game projects in love2d so the switch wasn't that difficult since they are both Lua. And Lua is an extremely simple language by comparison to many out there now. Pico-8 provides a very succinct and simple but wide range of primitive functions for making games.

So here is a screen cap of development what was intended to be November's game. Development will probably go into December, we will see if there is a separate December game or not.

And it's available for you to play for free right now. Feedback welcome if you have trouble figuring things out let me know I think I need to add some training areas or early start up rounds to get an idea of how to play.

I have not been good about teaching and easing the player into things in my games. I usually start you at level 2 because I design at that level so not really the best way to get you used to things. I'll try to be better. Though I have <15 days to make my next game.
