YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH! I know people like the whole “Danny & Nocturn equivalent of Undergrowth!Sam” thing, but this is free real estate, an undertapped opportunity, to take Sam’s “Why can’t they accept me the way I am?!” angst and fan the flames so high they devour the heavens themselves! 

Like, Jack and Maddie? Canon!Danny has good reason to fear them because of the whole ghost hunting thing, but while neglectful and embarrassing they love their son dearly and consistently embrace him when given the chance. But Pamela and Jeremy? Even when she’s fully human they reject her and pick fights with her and clash with her. It’s seemingly their fault that Sam so often treats what otherwise are normal conversations as battles to be won. And now she’s something they’re sworn to painfully annihilate? It’d be a miracle if she doesn’t mount at least one serious runaway attempt by the end of month one!

Give me halfa!sam angst or give me death!

(Also, I think kikiaz went with Spectra as Sam’s archfoe but I personally feel inspired by what others have suggested about Halfa!Sam and would go with Freakshow as a nemesis. A rebellious goth who identifies as being divergent from the norm and with severe mommy and daddy issues (like Sam) that actively seeks to control others and restrict their freedom (everything Sam is against ideologically, even if her youthful attempts at getting others to do the Right Thing can blur the line), a useful foil to her.

if Astronerd Danny is supposedly some unholy combination of canon Danny and canon Tucker, wouldnt he be the sassiest lil fuck ever? i mean sure danny with glasses and being extra nerdy, would lead everyone to put him in angsty situations and thus triggering the fandom’s instinct to protect him but… i imagine he’d use those awful space pun pickup lines to pickup girls. i guess he can still be kinda shy but, where’s the space sass

do Vlad and Spectra switch roles? i’d be down for that. they both have that weird updo hairstyle 

I was thinking “who’s gonna take Jazz’s role in this AU to secretly support Sam, since Sam’s an only child??” And THEN I REMEMBERED Sam canonically has a really sweet grandma who lives her!! imagine THIS LIL OLD LADY SECRETLY SUPPORTING HER SUPERHERO GRANDDAUGHTER. Her limelight episode would be called “My Granddaughter’s keeper”

can we call her.. Sammy… in this AU… just bc that would be kinda cute and it’d fit. then her evil TUE version would just be Sam and shitpost name would be Sammo. it’d be samantha, sammy, sam, her halfa clone would be samuel. (like how its daniel, danny, dan, and danielle). idk i just really like that. sammy manson—> sammy manes.
