Hoeveel mensen passen er op een schilderij? Bij Léon Frédéric een heleboel. Zijn drieluik Les Âges de l’ouvrier is zo’n werk waar, naarmate je langer kijkt, je steeds meer gaat zien. Frédéric is een Belgische kunstenaar. Na 1882 heeft zijn werk een sterk sociale en christelijke inslag. Zo zijn er in dit werk een aantal typisch christelijke symbolen terug te vinden. De vorm van het schilderij, een drieluik, verwijst op zich al naar de christelijke kunstgeschiedenis, waarin drieluiken vaak boven altaren te vinden waren. Het meisje met de rode jurk vooraan, de enige die de toeschouwer aankijkt, draagt een brood. Een ander meisje draagt een kruik. Symbolen voor brood en wijn van de eucharistie. De gravende mannen op het linker paneel verwijzen naar de kruisoprichting en rechts zien we een aantal moderne eigentijdse representaties van Madonna met Kind. Ook aan de kaartspelende jongens kan een religieuze uitleg worden gegeven. Deze bezigheid staat voor een ondeugd, maar één van de jongens onttrekt zich aan het spel. De zak boven zijn hoofd vormt een halo.

Guys I just had the WEIRDEST dreams EVER

First dream was That they remade RE4R to be a live action tv show and Leon was Welcome To Raccoon City Leon but Luis was?? Frederic Chan????? The YouTuber?????????? But he had his same curly hair n everything and whatnot anyways they somehow made that scene where Leon first finds him even more homoerotic by having Leon untie him and pick him up as well and then they were?? Trapped in the cabin????? Like the door locked from outside I think??????? And also Ashley was British but I never actually heard her spoke

SECOND dream was they remade Code Veronica and I was in Claire’s pov but we were in the castle in re4r for some reason????? And I kept getting lost in the hallways and stuff and Steve was there to hype me up but Steve didn’t look like Steve he had these super colourful braces and cornrows on one side of his head with his Afro on the other so it kinda looked like his og Karen cut and he was wearing these low-rise early 2000’s jeans

Clopin for the themed ask?

Oh, I was hoping someone would ask for this! He's one of my favourite Disney guys.

Okay, so Clopin doesn't have any bio kids himself. He likes romance well enough, but he doesn't often pursue it very hard himself.

However, sometimes children from the court of miracles are orphaned. Most of them have other family or family friends who take care of them, but some of them aren't so lucky. Clopin takes them in, as he once did Esmeralda so many years ago. The current ones are young enough that Auradon is all they know. They're safe and they're happy and they don't know what it's like to have to hide in a sewer because if the law finds you, they'll kill you all.

They're a big reason he decreed Frollo would be shot on sight if he dared show his face in Paris again once the barrier went down.
