Hey, I just wanna give a psa that Kang Daniel does not work alone and he wasn’t “thinking or talking to himself” about the situation. (I get that it’s a joke, so this is for the people who think it’s serious.) Not too long ago, he posted job offerings for people experienced in managing, marketing, legal matters, etc. Konnect is not a “one man show”. There’s a small team and they probably had to contact JYP to consider damage control/get permission to let it out after being caught. It’s more thoughtful in a good way if you think about it! (e.g. JYP could’ve kept it a secret and pay it off since it’s in the early stages/could effect each other negatively but decided not to and gave his blessing, Konnect wanted to make sure there was consent to agree since it’s a 2-sided relationship and they didn’t want a JenKai, Daniel could’ve been like “I’ll take all the hate even though I just debuted” and Konnect was like “yah we ain’t rich enough to cover this up yet”, etc.) Yeah. It might seem up there, but I know it’s not as simple as Kang Daniel staring at a mirror and asking himself if he’s dating God Jihyo.

Again, I get this was a joke at first, but some people are taking it seriously and I’m like... please don’t oversimplify and make him look dumb and please don’t think he really runs how show alone. Give credit to his team!
