Forts has vasovagal syncope, so a really bad crisis scenario he’s just going to faint, ESPECIALLY if there’s blood involved.

In a crisis scenario that’s bad but not bad enough to trigger a fainting spell, he’ll usually try to run away. He’s not good at fighting, so his instinct is to just run. The only time he won’t run is if someone else is in danger, but he’s not very useful in most situations so he’ll usually just blindly panic and/or faint.

okay so I have a lot of ocs so I’m just going to talk about the most recent ones/the ones taking up the most brain matter.

these two actually started out as bloodborne ocs, hence why they don’t have a story title. they’re the ones I’m currently most insane about.

Franz “Forts” Sandforts (his name is derived from “sfortzando”) is the owner of a shop called “Forts’s Miscellanetorium” which basically sells various baubles and curios. The shop has a physical location but forts also has a big ol cart that he runs with around the city:

Forts is a fast runner and is also very good at sewing, but his greatest strength is his kindness and resilience. He’s able to find beauty in a cruel world, and wants to show that same beauty to other people too, especially the ones he loves. Unfortunately he’s sort of a Mercutio figure in the lore my friends and I have for our bloodborne ocs, and his death is the reason the relationship between my friend’s ocs completely falls apart. Forts never became a hunter because he tends to faint at the sight of blood, but his blood is very strange and unique and contracting the beast plague would transform him into a pronghorn-like creature if he didn’t ask to be killed before that happens.

Lysander Glisst (his name is derived from “glissando”) is much less ingrained with bloodborne lore (and honestly both characters can fully be taken out of the context of the game) and he dies before the events of the game. Lysander was Forts’s roommate, and unlike Forts, Lysander comes from high society and thus is extremely repressed.

Lysander is a hunter, but only really because that’s what his father expected of him. He doesn’t really think to disobey his father and choose any other path than the one set out for him until he meets Forts and subsequently falls in love with him. Lysander struggles a lot with gender and societal expectations, but he loves Forts and Forts loves him. He feels very torn between staying with Forts or leaving him in order to live up to his father’s expectations. And speaking of…

Elias Glisst is Lysander’s father, and he could not know less about his son. Lysander’s mother died soon after Lysander was born, and Elias was so heartbroken that he could never find it in himself to remarry. Because of this, he worries that their family will be negatively judged, so he puts pressure on his son to conform. He also heavily pushes the idea of finding a woman for his son to marry, since he wants his son to be happy but is also (unconsciously) trying to relive the days when his wife was alive. Elias is awful at communicating this, though, so Lysander assumes that Elias is so intense because of something he did wrong, so he’s constantly trying to win his father’s approval, mostly by trying to hide the parts of himself that he thinks his father will dislike, further straining their relationship. Oops! Elias isn’t a fool though, he can tell that Lysander’s hiding something, he just doesn’t know what. At first he ignores it, but as time passes and Lysander grows more distant Elias becomes bitter towards him and begins to think that his son must be hiding some outrageous scandal for the sole sake of rebelling against him. Really though, if he did find out, he would eventually come to terms with it because he really does just want his son to be happy.
