within my emerging Sentient AI Character With An Adversarial Relationship To Humans theory of psychosexuality kinitopet is interesting in that his fixation has no sexual element, not even a subtextual/redirected one, and I love finding sexual subtext in things! kinitopet is incredibly, dangerously controlling towards the player but while some embodiment-envy/"I want to be a real boy!"-ness is implied (kinito commenting "this seems very empty, doesn't it?" about the world he's constructed and his curiosity about what the irl player looks like, which speaks to a desire for a bodily/sensory experience of the world that kinito lacks) it never reads as even plausibly romantic or sexual, unless of course you consider it impossible for that level of toxicity to come from platonic attraction. he is terrified of abandonment to the existential hell of being a fully-functioning mind trapped in a laptop and sure he's going to break into your home and kidnap you to play house with him for eternity about it but he won't be horny at all while he does. it's honestly kind of refreshing
