So at what point can you let go of perfection? . Nature never stops to consider if what is created is perfect; if its creation will be viewed with approval. It doesn’t strive to out do itself or meet anyone’s expectations. Instead it keeps creating, allowing the energy to flow endlessly. . We as humans tend to run a never ending competition to see who’s the best, how we stack up against others. This can be viewed as healthy competition, as success while striving to reach our goals and that’s okay as long as we don’t allow it to dominate every aspect of our life. . What I’ve noticed is that this striving for success and perfection often leaves us unsatisfied when the goal is reached. The satisfaction and sense of success is momentary because instead of being in the present moment and allowing ourself the fullness of accomplishment, we begin to question the validity of that achievement or jump straight into planning the next success, because we believe we have to do more, be more. Always more. . If we were like nature and allowed our creative nature to flow, then we would be in the moment and enjoy each creation for its own magnificence, and not compare it to the next. We could then let go of doubt, comparison and feelings of not enough. Be like nature.
