As someone who can walk into a place and automatically get a job, I wonder what Karen’s is in San Fran. My go to is she’s helping out Jennifer, since she could transfer and do exactly what she’s doing at N&M&K (also the connection of Lawyer Matt as a reference, as much as he didn’t want her to go). Since they are furthering She-Hulk and Matt was in the show, I can really see that being an easy connection.

I was hoping they’d drop a line or two about what she was going out there in the finale, but I think they might mention it in season 2. I can see Matt saying “you dropped your job at _____ to help me and NYC” to which Karen will say “yes, because it’s home.” 🏙️ 🍎 😈

La pintura, ese arte eterno que nos acompaña desde las cavernas hasta nuestros días, se divide en dos grandes vertientes: la pintura concreta y la pintura abstracta 🎨. Cada una con sus características y sus infinitos matices, nos invita a explorar realidades, emociones y conceptos de formas tan diversas como fascinantes.

La pintura concreta tiene como objetivo plasmar elementos reconocibles del mundo que nos rodea, desde paisajes naturales hasta escenas urbanas o figuras humanas. Su fuerza reside en capturar lo tangible y lo visible de una forma que conecta con nuestras experiencias cotidianas y culturales.

El Paisaje Natural 🌳: Desde las montañas imponentes hasta ríos serpenteantes, el paisaje natural ha sido un motivo recurrente en la pintura. Durante el Romanticismo, artistas como Caspar David Friedrich usaron el paisaje para evocar emociones profundas, mientras que los impresionistas como Claude Monet revolucionaron la forma de representarlo con el plenairismo: pintar al aire libre para captar los efectos de la luz y el color en tiempo real.

El Bodegón y la Naturaleza Muerta 🍎: Este género, que se centra en objetos cotidianos (frutas, flores, vajillas, etc.), floreció en el siglo XVII. En los Países Bajos, artistas como Willem Claesz Heda fusionaron la belleza estética con lecciones filosóficas al incorporar símbolos de la fugacidad de la vida, conocidos como vanitas. Más adelante, artistas como Paul Cézanne usaron el bodegón para explorar las relaciones espaciales y las formas, transformando este género en una plataforma para la innovación artística.

La Naturaleza Viva 🦌: Al representar animales, ya sea en entornos. naturales o como protagonistas, este motivo combina arte, ciencia y simbolismo. Desde las representaciones dramáticas de cacerías en obras de Frans Snyders, hasta los expresivos caballos coloridos de Franz Marc, los animales han sido un tema que conecta con lo ancestral y lo contemporáneo.

A inicios del siglo XX, la abstracción irrumpió en el panorama artístico, rompiendo con la necesidad de representar lo real. Aquí, las formas, colores y líneas adquieren vida propia, liberándose de la función mimética 🔵🟡.

Pioneros como Wassily Kandinsky comenzaron a explorar cómo los elementos visuales podían expresar emociones tan poderosamente como la música. Aunque a menudo se consideran opuestas, ambas corrientes han dialogado a lo largo de la historia. Muchos artistas, como Willem de Kooning, combinaron concreto y abstracto en sus obras. Al mismo tiempo, los movimientos concretos del siglo XX, como el Pop Art o el Hiperrealismo, incorporaron ideas tomadas de la abstracción, creando obras híbridas llenas de innovación.

En la pintura contemporánea, estas distinciones se han desdibujado, y artistas modernos fusionan estilos para crear obras únicas que trascienden cualquier etiqueta 📷✨.

La pintura concreta y la abstracta son polos de un mismo continuo, donde la creatividad encuentra refugio. OOH OOH OOH!! I got a couple Layton OCs(NOT self shipping related!)I'm hyperfixating on atm that I haven't posted about yet so THIS IS MY CHANCE!!

This girlie is an OC I made for this Flora story concept I'm working on! Her name is Francesca Wong, but she prefers to be called Fran!

Fran is an ace lesbian on the autism spectrum! In this story, Flora attends university and meets Fran, who attends the same robotics class as Flora and is often her lab partner in class projects. The girls quickly bond over their shared passion for robotics, and soon become an unstoppable duo(who may or may not develop feelings for each other in the future.👀) Electronics are Fran's passion, specifically electronic toys are her favorite thing to make and tinker with. Fran has her own toy boombox music player that she regularly upgrades so that she can add more songs to the music player's system at her leisure.(She also loves music btw😊) Fran isn't very skilled at conveying her emotions and always speaks in a deadpan, almost sarcastic tone, so she'll often come of as standoffish, reserved or even cold. Not many people at uni dare to approach her, as she always seems to have this upturned sneer on her face, but that's just her resting face. She may not know how to outwardly express it, but Fran loves what she does and she loves sharing what she loves with others.

To a majority of people, Fran is very hard to read most of the time due to her minimal facial expressions. In the beginning, Flora had trouble holding a conversation with the other girl since Fran isn't really one for small talk(or talk in general, especially when she focused hard on a task lol💀😅) and often times, Flora couldn't really tell if Fran was being sarcastic or if her words were sincere. But once they got to know each other a bit better, it got easier for Flora to understand what Fran was feeling. If she was excited, frustrated, nervous, disappointed, she would automatically pick up on it. Overall, they enjoy spending time with each other as they trek through their academic journey together. Flora is glad to have a friend who appreciates her and makes her feel wanted, and Fran is glad to finally have someone who actually listens to her and at least tries to understand her without being condescending about it.

That's most of the info I have on Fran so far! This story idea is still a WIP and I'd love to write it out and flesh out Fran and her relationship with Flora further someday!❤🍎🎀💜⚙👒
