Some people from my uni department are trying to have me have my master's seminar on the same friday I'm going to a con abd a friend suggested as a joke that I just do the seminar in cosplay and then leave.

My current but also future boss will be there to see it and it would be kind of humiliating (although I think he would understand if I just said that I lost a bet or something) but. It would be so funny. I'm cosplaying sigma (from bsd) which means I could say that I was the sigma male of that seminar session and I think it would be funny. I just don't know if it would ruin my chances at an academic carreer and I'm not sure I want to risk it.
