does anyone have a fire nest available... please + thank u... for fandragon breeding project. unfortunately the parents have a wide range of colours but i am cursed with the bad luck, i think, for this one.

^ in order: Mother, Ideal Fandragon Colours (Red/Swamp/Sunset), and Father. as for colours for the actual result in the fandragon I'd be happy with Strawberry-Red/Swamp-Camo/Sunset-Sunshine

hatchling's gender or breed or eye-type doesn't matter, so long as its a Fire dragon, and it's in the range of colours listed above ^

i can also provide a Boon of Fertility and pay in Gems/Treasure/both

flight risers. i come to you in my time of need. should i change my dragon's tertiary from firefly to sparkle? i'm so conflicted on which one looks better.

CRUCIAL INFO: the hatchlings are significantly more likely to have peacock regardless. and the pair has never even produced a firefly hatchling. so this honestly barely matters at all. but it matters. to me

Info for the free nests- I had a rule in place already to pick them up the day they hatched. I kept asking if they would take their dragons back. They kept saying they would but then didn't. I even asked over discord a few times.

I just got tired of feeding 20 dragons I didn't own and I kept asking to get picked up, so anyone who didn't already pick them up (longest was 5 weeks, shortest was 2 weeks)

i thought the AH would just give me what i wanted but after days of stalking it i am admitting defeat despite not wanting Exact colours, and starting to grab dragons for a project

next step is emotionally coping with the fact that i'm gonna have to experience stranger nest rentals again for the first time in years bc as far as i'm aware i've got no one in lightning to call in favours with, and despite what i promised myself about only doing projects with arcane (my flight) or ice (Kirby's flight) eyes anymore, i now will not accept anything but lightning eyes for this fucker bc i might as well do this properly

My eggs turned out ugly so I instead went to scrying workshop to figure out real pretties and made up these two. But there's not a single dragon with their respective colour combos for sale and only 13 and 41 with these combos on the whole site in total..

White/Gray/Pistachio looks so good though I don't understand why there's only 13 of them... The other one is Eggplant/Grape/Twilight.

ppl are so insane abt multis i literally can't imagine caring that much. Why should I give a shit abt the economy, i barely buy things in the AH and the dragon economy is like. Fine. Every petsite economy is inflated and fr does a good job at being stable. Hatchery and project dragons during nest rentals staying in banned accounts is indicative of a larger problem with fr and that's it's a dragon png breeding game that arbitrarily decided you can't breed whatever colors and eyes you want on your own for their awesome plot that progresses 2-4 times a year and for some reason lays the blame on the players for trusting others when you literally cannot know if the other person is cheating or not and also fuck you we don't have an official way to do nest rentals like literally any reasonable game. There is a dragon petsite from literally 2007 or some shit with studding implemented and i don't have to go "awh man my dragon is lost on a banned account" on there. is why is flight rising suddenly reasonable for this? To say to your players that it would be too much work to restore dragons and then not give an alternative method to get what they want is genuinely insane and i don't know why people get bad at multis when there is clearly a bigger issue at play. Is it actually the other person's fault or is it the moderation's for not giving you your dragons even when there's on-site proof they were yours and it was a nest rental? They could literally say "here's an exact social script that you can do to guarantee we press a button to restore your dragons if things go wrong" familiars had this same problem and they only recently added fiona and we have 0 news on nesting changes despite the repeated issues players have with their dragons being stuck on banned accounts bc of a nest rental. I'm not longstanding enough to know if fiona was shadowdropped, but if she was it only proves my point further we are chasing the dragon of changes that take a million years to become real and then in the meantime they do fuckall, twiddle their thumbs and go "too bad, it has to stay the way it is!" They are playing us for absolute fools.

Tl;dr or whatever: why do we care about multis so much when we can't know their full impact on the economy ever. It's inflated anyway. The moderation decisions that consistently refuse to revert nest rental trades without a viable and safe alternative are the problem and not individual people cheating at the game. Especially when you probably won't be able to reasonably tell someone is cheating (and shouldn't be expected to) so the fault being on you for trusting someone is a bad choice.

Imo the only weak point is economy i don't understand that shit so i can understand an disagreement there. Sorry for caring too much about petsites I'll do it again. But genuinely why do you people spend so much time thinking about these people i don't understand. I like minding my business so i can think about other things. If i lost my prized expensive dragons i would be more mad at fr staff bc of their backwards rules that i can't get my dragons back no matter what.

Still no update on the user who put a support ticket about her suspension.. if I lose my bogsneak forever I'm gonna cry, I just never considered a thing like this could happen, I knew I could TRUST the user with my dragon, and she nested them last breeding round, I just didn't think there was anything else I should be scared of...

I don't think I'll ever send permas to nest rentals ever again.. it's too scary, even if it is a fluke and her account gets reinstated.. I keep checking fr though praying for a message

Btw I'm sure official nest rental thread is really trustworthy but nothing is going to top when i did nest rentals from that thread for the first time and the first one held my dragons for a good maybe 4 ish days more than they should need for a thread that advertises asap hatching for scariest thing to experience with one of my favorite pairs.

This actually happened like 4 years ago and I still feel like a total jackass about it? BUT ANYWAY…

I used to work for a hatchery since a user wanted their hatchlings to have Light eyes. It was a freebie service; I didn’t demand any payment nor food on my part because I had enough food to feed my dragons + theirs.

Fastforward to a few weeks later, they send over an Imperial + Pearlcatcher (both G2+, no special digits) and I somehow accidentally mixed them up with fodder and exalted the pair and didn’t even catch it until the original owner DMed me. I was absolutely distraught, so I offered to bring back a dragon since I’m only allowed one unexaltation as per Support rules.

They took some time to think about it, and they accepted bringing back the Imperial. I even went ahead and I bought a new pearlcatcher to replace the other (similar genes, same colors), but they were so angry about it that they exalted the new pearlcatcher right after I sent everything and blocked me right after.

I know it’s under their discretion to block me but I can’t help but feel like maybe buying them a new dragon was salt on the wound or something. AITA?

I've said this before but I really would love it if FR introduced some kind of automated nest rental mechanic that didn't require sending CR's back and forth. Ideally where people could just put their nests up for rental at a certain price and others could browse these listings and rent nests without needing to interact directly with the lister.

I don't think this will ever happen as I feel like it's not where staff wants to go with their game, but it would make running hatcheries so much easier. x_x
