hiii!! i've always been an avid fan of your blog, i feel blessed every time i scroll through your page - it's like a warm hug. i also love aftg!!

in return i'll give you an aftg fanfic that will change your life: it's on ao3 called 'we destroy everything we need' - it's absolutely stunning and rich and intoxicating, it reads like poetry and although it's unfinished the characters are explored so thoroughly and the depiction of mental illnesses is breathtaking in its accuracy. would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Hej hej. Some time ago you wrote something like you don’t even know if you want to Andrew and Neil to be endgame in Hello world because Andrew treated Neil so badly. Now I am curious if you were able to finish reading the fic and if you changed your opinion? Just if you don’t mind sharing your thoughts. I just like the way you talk about fics and I am very curious. Hihi Have a lovely evening! : )

Hej hej indeed. Goodness you have a GREAT memory. Yes, I was VeRy vErY VERY upset w/Andrew in hello world (37k, completed...for those who have not read it yet) + wasn’t sure I did want he + Neil to be endgame. But, well, @lolainslackss is a pro + she made it A L L happen in that last chapter, didn’t she? Andrew got a talking to from his brother, did his work w/Bee, then a nudge from his coach + got on a bus to say those six words to Neil.

So, yes, I changed my opinion.  

Is there anything better than seeing a human, say like Andrew Minyard, who has navigated recovery to a certain point, tells themselves where they are is “all good, really” (which is just another version of “I’m fine”, isn’t it?!). Only to realise they want more out of their relationships + maybe they could move through that invisible barrier keeping them where they are because it turns out what they want is more important than what they fear. Ya, I’m a sucker for that story line + will read 104 fics just like this one to satisfy that craving.  

Guess what? Your question prompted me to re-read Ch 10 w/all its twists + turns and I realised I still haven’t commented on it yet!!! I do that often w/stories I love, tricking my mind into thinking “If I don’t comment, it won’t be over, will it?”  It’s a silly thing. But at any rate, I’ll re-read it again before I comment + thank the story and author for being such a lovely adventure + place to snuggle into for a bit.

Wow. I’m. a bit speechless. Thank you so much for this kind + very well-timed message. Isn’t it interesting that often when we are having a hard time, some lovely counterpoint happens? This time around it’s is your message. My family is coming up to the anniversary of my Mama’s death in a few weeks + oof I’ve been awash w/grief again. She lived a long, full life, had what can best be described as a good death...and I miss her...a lot.

So... THANK YOU AGAIN for dropping some love into my inbox. I will continue to be me, even when sometimes it feels a bit much. I hope YOU are safe + well + encouraged + experiencing a bit of joy these days.

Hi! I've been binge listening the podficast these past 2 days because it is so wonderful! I wish I had taken notes now because there was a lot I wanted to say about how great it is but I've forgotten most of it. Everything about the fandom's culture and generations and timelines was so fascinating. I only joined tumblr late last year, but I've been an aftg fan for ~3yrs so it's cool to hear a little about the history!! I also love the way you read!! I don't have enough space but basically
