why does commander wolffe have two f's in his name. like what the fuck is with that. was he just trying to be quirky and different? is it because all the clones went through a phase in their teenage years where they wanted to be cool badasses with super edgy names and there were so many that he had to distinguish himself somehow? is it like how if you're making a username and it's already in use so you have to make very slight changes and make the "e" a "3" or something? is it like that?? are there just 2000 other clones out there all named "wolf" but with the dumbest spellings you've ever seen??? i don't need sleep i need answers
#i love him so dearly and his dumb fucking name is driving me nuts#fox is just named fox! why is wolffe not just named wolf???#i am going to teleport myself into the middle of a fucking war so i can ask this man personally#i will break the laws of reality and the multiverse to find the truth. bring me into star wars i dont give a shit im livin la vida loca#my new life goal: investigate why the FUCK this furry squad leader doesn't have a normal goddamn name#as a bonus i can hang out with the 104th and become an honorary bro of plo which is the highest honour#star wars#the clone wars#rebels#commander wolffe#clone wars#andis thought geyser

my OCs
Sorry this took so long guys! It was long to type out and I also have a good excuse: I was at basketball and cut my big-toe-nail in half horizontally so had to clean and bandage and what not.
My puppy says hi, btw! (She sat on my lap as I typed this. She was for once not hyper and when she's like that I cuddle her as close as possible.)
@skellymom you asked to be tagged when I posted this so here you go! :D
I rlly hope y'all like this: I've had these guys for a while but never typed up all this stuff.
ALSO IF SOMEONE WANTS TO DRAW THESE GUYS (IDK WHY YOU WOULD CAUSE IM LIKE, IDK, I JUST DONT THINK PEOPLE CARE ABOUT ME AND MY STUFF) THEN GO AHEAD I WOULD LITERALLY CRY OF APPRECIATION
Enjoy!
Request things please!!!
STUFF BELOW THE CUT ITS JUST SUPER LONG!!!!!
OCs included:
Dhole
Vector
Menace
Dice
Bloodshot
Xi
Mit
Vick
Meerrt
Dhole (CT-8019)
Dhole is a member of the Coruscant Guard and has curly black hair with the ends dyed the same red as the red armour. His helmet is designed with striking resemblance to both Wolffe and Fox’s.
He has the trademark tan skin as the rest of the clones as well as dark brown eyes and two obvious scars; one on his chest and the other covering his entire left arm.
Dhole is a literal ray of sunshine and when he was a cadet, he constantly followed Wolffe and Fox around - which gave him his name. My idea is that Dholes do exist in Star Wars but they are rare and only live on one planet. Dholes look like a combination of a fox and wolf.
Everyone in the Coruscant Guard is super protective of Dhole because he’s so sweet and literally cheers up everyone. The 104th thought Wolffe was like the scariest person ever and wasn’t soft to anyone until one day they got back from a mission and their Commander was barrelled over by an energetic ray of sunshine and the entire 104th gasped when Wolffe smiled. Their reaction was priceless.
Dhole makes friends with basically everyone, even Senators he’s in charge of watching over. One time, he befriended and saved Bail Organa who then told Fox if Fox didn’t promote Dhole, Bail would join the Separatists. Fox gladly gave Dhole the rank of ARC Trooper.
Dhole befriended Ahsoka once and when he heard about how Tarkin was being sexist and racist he grabbed his pistols to go kill him without a moments hesitation. It took Fox, Thorn and Vector holding him back to stop him.
He did the same thing when he heard Palpatine denying Fox time off work, but overall loves his job. Dhole is very sweet, but also protective in a strange way. He won’t hesitate to hurt/kill someone if they’ve hurt his friends or brothers and most likely will get away with whatever he’s done.
He’s the sunshine of the Coruscant Guard and you hurt him, you die.
Vector (CT-8124)
Vector is a member of the Coruscant Guard and best buds with Dhole. They are quite similar as they are both kind and sweet except Vector is a lot shier. Vector got his name from a little boy he saved as a shiny. The boy asked what his name was and Vector had to explain he didn’t have a name. The boy almost cried before telling Vector that they could share a name - and dubbed him Vector as that was also the boy’s name.
He is the definition of ‘the poet’ from ‘soldier, poet, king’ by the oh hellos. His smart and quiet, but when he speaks up, everyone listens. No one but Dhole really knows his opinion on his work - but he really isn’t bothered by it. The only thing Vector hates doing is paperwork because whilst he’s the best out of the Guard in getting it done fast and well, he finds it boring and time-consuming.
Vector has the same tan skin as the rest of the clones and honey gold eyes. He has brown hair that's dyed blonde on the ends. He has a scar that goes from his right eye, over his nose and then down to the base of his neck. He got the scar from a piece of shrapnel during the First Battle of Geonosis - as all clones (apart from those still on Kamino) participated in the battle.
Everyone in the Guard loves Vector - although in a different way to the way they adore Dhole - and it’s well-known that wherever Dhole is, Vector will be hiding behind him quietly in the shadows.
Vector’s helmet is the same as the regular Corrie helmet except he has a little sun emblem on the forehead - whether it's a nod to Dhole’s sunny nature or not, no one really knows.
Because Vector is so quiet and introverted, he mostly just hangs around with Dhole - and their inseparable - but he also loves Cody, as his Ori’vod respects his silence and is the only other person to figure out a type of communication Vector is okay with.
Menace (CT-7874)
Menace is like Hardcase combined with Fives as a Coruscant Guard member. He’s caff addicted because he loves the energy hit and would probs do drugs if Fox didn’t yell at him so much every time he thought out-loud what it would be like to take them. He’s done deathsticks several times but isn’t addicted cause he’s smart in how he takes them.
Menace got his name because that's what he is - a menace. He’s moody and smart, daring and proud but overall he causes enough chaos that he should be a 501st trooper. He’s best friends with Dice and Bloodshot, and is the bad influence of everyone. He’s got the classic look of a clone trooper except dark brown hair instead of black hair. Menace has a scar covering his left eyebrow from being attacked by an assassin who was trying to kill a senator. Although Menace is chaotic and stupid and fun, he’s devoted to his work and does work very well. He’s kind of like the Jake Peralta (Brooklyn Nine Nine) of the Coruscant Guard. Menace is the ‘soldier’ again from ‘soldier, poet, king’ by the oh hellos. He’s strong and dedicated, and too determined to be knocked down.
Him, Hardcase and Fives get along like a house on fire and have collectively taken days of sleep from Rex and Fox. His helmet is the classic Corrie helmet although the top left side is completely painted black with licking ginger flames around it - to symbolise Menace’s first helmet which got destroyed in a bombing.
Dice (CT-6346)
Dice has short black hair, tan skin and brown eyes - like the classic clone look. He’s never bothered to change his hair or anything. He has a burn scar that covers his right eye and eyebrow, and a torso scar from his left ankle all the way up his leg and back that ends at his collarbone. Dice is also a member of the Coruscant Guard. He’s the definition of the moon personality - very private about his anxieties and such.
Captain Rex met Dice when he was a shiny and gave him his name upon witnessing the clone bargain his way out of a situation. Dice is a legend and board/card games and is incredibly smart. When dealing with a particularly hard case, Fox always turns to Dice for help. He’s smart, thoughtful and calculating, but he’s a really nice person too. He’s not introverted or extroverted and is just happy to help. Dice loves his work because he loves the challenges different cases provide and finds them interesting to explore.
Dice has the classic Corrie clone trooper helmet except a red dice simple in the middle of the forehead.
Whilst Dice is best friends with Menace and Bloodshot, he’s really close with Rex because he’s the one who gave him his name. Dice can be a little chaotic but he’s usually pretty chill - but always chill with Rex. They get along so well because Rex seems him as a combination of Fives and Echo - smart, funny, kind and everything else.
Bloodshot (CT-3496)
Bloodshot is the ‘king’ of ‘soldier, poet, king’ by the oh hellos, and he’s the most serious of the group. He and Fox get along like a house on fire because their both so tired of the Guard’s antics. He’s a sweet and kind guy and quiet but not in a shy way. Quiet in a menacing way.
Bloodshot has short light brown hair, tan skin and brown eyes, and he’s extremely fit. He has a going from his stomach up his chest, over his neck that hooks around his right ear. He got the scar when he was attacked by an assassin - crazy similar to Menace. He’s dedicated to his work because its his work and no one really knows his other thoughts on the topic.
Bloodshot’s helmet is a regular Corrie helmet with splotches of red over the eyes and a red ‘blood-drop’ on the forehead.
Bloodshot got his name because he drinks a lot of caff - religiously, like man must drink caff - and that causes his eyes to go bloodshot quite a lot. He’s humble about how talented he is as a fighter and extremely quick-witted. When Bloodshot yells ‘Shut up!’ everyone freezes. He’s not the eagerest to do things, but isn’t lazy in the slightest.
If someone is upset you can count on Bloodshot and Dhole going to hunt down and kill whoever hurt their Vod.
No one really understands why Menace, Dice and Bloodshot are so close but they click in a way that you can tell means their platonic soulmates and the truest of brothers.
Bloodshot managed to gain Plo Koon’s love when he rescued a stray-runaway-Youngling and returned her to the Kel Dor. He’s the Ori’vod of the group and is the only possible (apart from Dhole) who can convince Fox to sleep, and takes his responsibility with pride. Although, he probably needs sleep just as much as the Commander.
Xi (CT-5113)
Xi is a member of the 501st and has wavy black hair that falls to just below his ears, brown eyes, tan skin and a small Republic symbol tattooed on his nose. He also has a scar from the tip of his middle finger on his right hand that travels up to his elbow that he got from a crash-landing.
Xi is sort of a combination between the soldier and king from (yet again) ‘soldier, poet, king’ by the oh hellos. He’s funny and kind yet courageous and loyal. Rex is extremely proud of Xi because he’s done many things that have rightfully earned him his ARC Trooper status. Although many people don’t believe it at first, Xi is a strangely good mechanic - and is often the one to fix things in time-ticking situations.
He’s best friends with Mit and is absolutely obsessed with music. Like, most listen to music.
Other than Rex and Mit, Xi gets on with Jesse and Fives amazingly as they share several similar personality traits. They once had a bit too much to drink and got lost on Coruscant but that's a story for another time.
Ahsoka and Xi also get along because Xi is always by her side - no matter what. He would be crushed if anything happened to her. Like his Padawan, Anakin and Xi are friends because of their loyalty, but also love for mechanics. It’s not rare to find them ranting about mechanics together.
Xi’s helmet is similar to Fives except he has painted a blue ‘scar’ over the right eye to match Anakin’s and the left half of the face has Ahsoka’s face markings except in blue. There are two ‘teardrops’ underneath the right eye - which Tup later copied.
Xi is slightly more extroverted then he is introverted but he hides his emotions a lot because he fears that he is being weak and that others have bigger problems than him so he shouldn’t complain. One time, he bottled his emotions up for so long he eventually shattered and Rex spent hours with him calming him down.
Mit (CT-5114)
Mit has a black buzzcut, tan skin and gold eyes with several small scars but none extremely big or noticeable. He’s a member of the 501st and was promoted to ARC Trooper at the same time as Xi for an amazing mission they completed all by themselves. His helmet is the ARC Trooper helmet - like Fives’ - but he has the visor outlined in blue - like Rex’s - and two matching teardrops to Xi’s under the right eye. He has a star personality as he is fun to be around and focuses on enjoying life. Mit’s funny, soft, gentle and brave and contrasts Xi in several ways. Mit is more of a rules-follower than Xi and gets along with Echo well because of it. He and Kix also get along for reasons they don’t really understand.
Mit’s a bit more introverted than extroverted, which contrasts well with Xi, who’s the opposite. Whilst Xi bottles up his emotions, Mit is a lot calmer than that, and very in control of his negative emotions. If he really needs to vent, he will go to Xi or Kix.
Mit really loves reading, and will basically read anything he can get his hands on. It’s not rare to find him dangling from his bed with a datapad scrolling through a book too deeply fixated to hear anything anyone else is saying.
Because he loves to read so much, Mit is the resident clone-translator, and together he and Obi-Wan have translated many things for the others. Sometimes, the two will have conversations in front of others in a different language just to annoy them, and that's where their friendship formed. Mit once saved a small Nautolan boy who only spoke Nautila and managed to get him home. Whilst Xi is good at mechanics, Mit is smart in languages and random knowledge, and the pair use those skills to help the 501st get out of a lot of difficult situations.
Vick (CT-2323)
Vick has neatly cut black hair, tan skin and brown eyes - the classic clone look, just like Dice. He has three triangular scars on his right arm and a scar covering his stomach that he earned when he was attacked by a beast during a mission. He’s a member of the 212th. Vick is the soul/heart as he is very upfront with his beliefs and heart-strong instead of head-strong. He’s sarcastic, brave and kind with everything he does and Cody adores him for it.
Vick’s helmet is the classic 212th clone trooper helmet with two yellow triangles - points facing down - on the cheeks. He’s best friends with Meerrt as they balance each other out extremely well.
Vick is close with Cody as they share the same stupid recklessness but love for the others of their troops and their General. Obi-Wan and Vick get along very well after Vick, Cody, Meerrt and Obi-Wan once got stranded together on a mission and they all discovered Vick’s strange talent in tea-brewing. Now, when they want tea, they hunt down Vick and beg him to make them the drink.
Vick hates drugs and deathsticks but likes to drink on the occasion, as it helps numb the constant reminder of the war. Cody and him sometimes barricade themselves in the barracks and drink till they can’t remember their names in sorrow, side by side for comfort.
When the 212th were on Ryloth, Vick befriended a Twi’lek boy who he constantly denies having a crush on - but most of the 212th don’t believe him. They manage to catch up occasionally and Vick always comes back grinning.
Vick absolutely adores learning about new and different cultures - not the food, as Meerrt has asked several times, no, he loves learning about their non-food-culture. Upon going to new planets, he sticks with Obi-Wan if they don’t speak the same language and asks for translations, which the General happily does.
Meerrt (CT-2361)
Meerrt looks the same as Vick although his hair is slightly longer and scruffier. There is a burn scar covering his left ear and as a result the hair around it was singed slightly so he buzzed it and also has weaker hearing in that ear.
When Vick, Obi-Wan, Cody and him were stranded and they discovered Vick’s tea-making skills, Meerrt got burned in the crash that led to his scar.
He has the classic 212th helmet with a yellow sun emblem on the forehead - similar to Vector’s - and yellow stars on the sides.
Meerrt loves astronomy deeply and endlessly, and spends hours researching it. He has a sun personality meaning he’s slightly more extroverted and bubbly, all smiles for days. He’s encouraging, sweet and funny and the kinda guy you go to for a hug.
Meerrt gets on with Cody because he can cuddle up to the Commander and not get reprimanded or teased for it. Sometimes a clone needs sleep and affection. He also gets along well with Waxer as they both met little kids they sheltered and protected for a bit.
Meerrt met a little Togrutan boy whilst on a mission - who later turned out to be Force-sensitive and was taken to the Temple - who he immediately bonded with. Meerrt had a breakdown when they were separated and stayed gloomy for weeks.
Meerrt doesn’t really like alcohol, deathsticks or anything of the sort but juice like its water. Whenever he can, Meerrt buys as much juice as possible to keep and savour.
Meerrt is a really heavy sleeper and - like most other clones - often has night terrors. He’s mostly silent during these - unlike Vick who screams and thrashes like he’s being attacked and makes everyone pity him - but often seeks comfort from either Vick or Cody afterwards and have a cup of hot chocolate.
Meerrt’s favourite planet they’ve been to is Naboo - where he first participated in the Blue Shadow Virus mission - and he’s visited several times. He once met Padme who showed him around her planet and they built a sweet friendship because of it.
*sighs* that was VERY long and I apologise to anyone who read all of that.
Thoughts on my ocs, please share?!

300 followers bingo - Fox/Wolffe | Pirates AU
(Oof this came out way longer than I thought, you’ll soon see why. Hope you like it!)
As Fox and the rest of his troops inspect the site of the wreckage, the only thing he finds are dead men. Whatever has caused the Dread Wolf to finally sink must’ve done a pretty good job at it.
He can’t help but to think that it’s a shame, despite the fact that the Dread Wolf, and especially its captain, have been a thorn to his side for years, hindering the commerce with their incursions. King Palpatine had even declared by law that any act of piracy will be punishable by death, but that never stopped the crew of the Dread Wolf.
Still, Fox won’t lie and say that he never enjoyed the thrill of the chase, that sometimes he even looked forward to the Dread Wolf’s incursions, so he’d get his chance to duel the only man who he could ever consider his rival.
And now…
That lucky son of a whore.
The man Fox has just found on the shore it’s the same man that he was talking about: here he is - alive and breathing - the master of the Dread Wolfe, captain Wolffe himself - Fox has always wondered which name came first, the ship’s of the captain’s.
How he’s still alive, this Fox doesn’t know, but in the end, it’s not like it matters: now that he’s found him, he will arrest him, and then he’ll be sentenced to death. Either that, or he’ll rot in prison if the king feels merciful - if that can be either considered a mercy.
It’s his duty to take him in custody, to make him pay for his crime… and yet, Fox still hasn’t moved a muscle.
He can’t, he just can’t…
What’s stopping him from fulfilling his duty?
It’s his damn honor, that’s what it is: last time they’ve met, he and his crew had ambushed the ship Fox was in, but he let Fox go despite the fact that he could’ve easily taken him down, only taking the goods the ship was transporting before leaving.
He could’ve easily killed him, but he didn’t, and now Fox can’t bring himself to apprehend him like he’s supposed to do.
… Damn it all!
Before he can be joined by the rest of the royal guard, he takes Wolffe’s unconscious body and drags him behind a group of rocks so that he’ll be hidden, then he goes back to the site of the wreckage, deleting every trace of something being dragged to safety.
Thankfully, both for Wolffe and himself because, if someone finds out, Fox will be hanged for betrayal, he manages to do it before everybody else arrives.
“Found anything?” Thorn, his second in command, asks him.
“Nothing of interest,” Fox replies. “Just other wrecks of the ship.” He truly hopes that Thorn will not see behind his lies; out of everyone, he’s the person who knows him the most.
Thorn nods, thoughtful. “Yeah… Most men must’ve drowned. It’ll take some time before all of them wash up to the shore, if the fish don’t eat them first.”
Fox frowns at the image, but he supposes that Thorn is correct, which makes it plausible that they wouldn’t see Wolffe’s body. And Fox didn’t even need to advance that hypothesis himself, so he’ll look less suspicious for it.
At that point he sighs, gaze moving from the wreckage to Thorn. “If we’re done here, let’s move out. The sun’s setting, we’ll get back tomorrow morning.”
At those words, they all snap to attention. “Yessir!”
--
Once he can take advantage of the cover of the night, Fox comes back to the site of the wreckage, thinking about how dead he is at each step. He shouldn’t be doing this, and yet here he is.
He finds Wolffe still unconscious, which does worry a bit, but he’s well aware that he can’t exactly bring him to a doctor, so all he can do is to find him a secure place where he can rest, and hopefully get well. If he needs to, he can bring him medicine… Wait, why is he thinking so far ahead? And also, why should he even buy stuff for him? Isn’t it enough that he’s giving him shelter?
Oh well, he can think about this later. Now he needs to take him somewhere safe, which, he regrets to admit, could be only one location: his house.
“Jesus how much do you weigh?” he mutters under his breath as he drapes one of Wolffe’s arms around his shoulders so that he can pull him up and drag him to what will be his temporary hideout.
The more he keeps going, the less he feels this is worth it, but he’s gone too far to stop now. He’s taken a decision and he’ll go along with it until the bitter end.
--
When Wolffe wakes up, the first thing that comes to mind is how much everything hurts. He doesn’t remember going into a drunken blender the previous day, so that can’t be it…
In a flash, he remembers everything: the storm, their desperate attempts to stir the ship… the wreckage.
He jolts up, or well he would’ve done it if one of his wrists wasn’t bound to the headboard of the bed he somehow finds himself laid upon. Panicked, he raises his gaze to observe what is keeping him there; it’s a simple handcuff, but he knows by the looks of it that he can’t smash it, not without some dull object.
And yet, despite the knowledge, his mind is too fuzzy with panic for him to act accordingly; he tugs on the handcuff, then he tries again, and again, but to no avail.
He begins looking around for something he can use, when a weight presses against his shoulders, forcing him down. “Don’t. Move.”
You can imagine his surprise when he sees that the man over him is Fox, commander of the king’s guard himself.
At that, he tries to shake him off, to free himself even harder than he was doing before, which ends up with Fox reacting by pinning him down by the wrists. “For fuck’s sake, Wolffe, I’m trying to help you here!”
“And how exactly are you helping me?” Wolffe growls back. “Looks like you took me prisoner!”
“Yeah, because I didn’t know what you would’ve done when you woke up!” Fox retorts. “I wasn’t going to leave you unguarded and alone…”
Silence falls between the two, tense at first, but then Wolffe - and consequently Fox - begins to relax, until Fox speaks again. “I found you in the midst of what remained of your ship, and since you spared me once, I’m returning the favor. If you promise me you’re not going to make a mess, I’m going to uncuff you.”
Oh.
This is unexpected. Did Fox really do it?
No, it’s impossible, he must be lying!
… Right?
And yet, for some reason, he finds himself inclined to believe him, because he knows that, unlike many of his companions, Fox keeps his word. It’s one of the reasons why he enjoys dueling with him and why he respects him despite the fact that he’s the king’s dog.
Despite everything, he nods, then. “I promise,” he tells Fox, intending not to betray his trust. If it’s true that he saved him, it’s the least he can do.
Fox looks at him for a moment, probably pondering if he should trust him or not, but in the end he decides to free him, so he slowly goes to unlock the handcuff that is keeping Wolffe to his bed with the key he was keeping in his pocket.
Once he’s free, Wolffe pushes him off, but otherwise he doesn’t seem to do anything else except sit and massage his sore wrist. Just how long has he been like this? He’s afraid to ask.
Silence falls between them, even as Fox sits beside him. In normal circumstances, they would have nothing to do with each other, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t be exactly inclined to talk to each other, and yet, Wolffe has to ask…
“Was there any other survivor?”
Fox sighs. He was expecting this question. “Not that I know of,” he replies, then, figuring that for this kind of stuff, sugarcoating it would’ve been useless.
Wolffe lowers his gaze as a heavy silence settles between them. He looks so miserable but unwilling to show it that Fox almost feels the urge to try to reassure him, but he doesn’t, knowing that no matter what he says, it wouldn’t make it all better like some kind of magic.
Eventually, the atmosphere is so heavy that Fox can’t stomach staying there anymore. “I-I’m going to bring you something to eat,” he mutters. “Stay here.”
With that, he gets up and leaves the room, towards the kitchen. Watching the state Wolffe is in now makes him wonder if it wouldn’t have been more merciful to just kill him, but it’s not like he can go back on his decision now; it’s way too late for that.
--
With time Wolffe’s body begins to heal, and he finds himself with more and more energy. The same can’t be said about his mind, however, not when this all still feels like a nightmare to him.
Did he really lose all his men? No, it can’t be, and yet he knows that Fox is not lying - what reason would he have to do that when he’s gone all the way to rescue him and not send him to prison immediately?
What should he do, now? What even is he anymore? A captain without neither a ship, nor a crew.
Why did he even survive? Why did Fox take pity on him?
He should’ve just let him die…
--
Fox is… surprisingly cordial to him.
At first Wolffe found it weird, unnatural even - they’re supposed to be enemies, not this - and yet he can’t help but to be appreciative of the effort Fox is doing not to antagonize him, just as much as Wolffe tries to do the same, knowing that if he crosses him, he risks losing this safe harbor.
Once he heals more, he’s even allowed to explore Fox’s house, though of course he’s confined to his room whenever the commander has guests; it’s in their best interest that he remains hidden.
He still thinks Fox is a fucking dog, but… he’s not so bad, after all.
Living in such close quarters has made him discover parts of him that he wouldn’t even have known about otherwise, like that he hates sweets except from honeyed stuff, that he’s very particular about what to wear - he has to appear perfect always - and that he has a secret soft spot for cats - he must’ve forgotten that Wolffe was inside when he took a weak stray inside to feed him and then let it go outside once it was strong enough to move again.
He supposes that Fox has found out some things about him as well, like the fact that he snores in his sleep, something that he complains about quite often, that he likes meat and that he’s unexpectedly good at flower arrangement, demonstrated when Fox didn’t know what to do for the guard’s doctor’s birthday; he suggested he could give her a bouquet that she could keep in her study, and even helped him arrange some flowers.
“Where did you learn?” Fox asks, dumbfounded by this. It makes him wonder why he didn’t open a flowers shop instead of becoming a pirate; at least he would’ve had an honest work.
“That’s a secret,” Wolffe replies, winking.
They both freeze, at that. Did Wolffe just…
This easy camaraderie shouldn’t be possible between them, and yet here they are, acting like a pair of friends.
It’s weird, just… yes, weird.
Maybe they shouldn’t get so close to each other.
--
Fox has lost count of how many nights he’s spent without being able to fall asleep because of Wolffe.
To be fair, he can’t exactly blame him for something that, after all, isn’t in his control, but this nightmare business hurts both of them.
He should do something about it, but what? He’s no expert in this matter, and he doubts he has what it gets to calm him down.
A sigh escapes his lips as he gets up from his bed.
Before he can change his mind, he makes it to the guest room.
He finds Wolffe twisting and turning in his bed without any hope of stopping soon.
Fox’s gaze is sad as he looks at him. If he lost his entire battalion, would he be the same? Would he be able to pull through? He doesn’t know…
He’s always had the feeling that Wolffe was pretty close to his crew, definitely closer than he is with the king’s guard, but it would still hurt, even though not as much.
He almost reaches for Wolffe, before having a last minute hesitation; they say that you shouldn’t wake up people who are having a nightmare, so shouldn’t he just let it pass? But he feels bad not doing anything!
In the end he decides to put an end to his suffering, and he shakes him.
He was expecting Wolffe to jolt awake in a violent manner, but he wasn’t expecting him to actually attack him, though in hindsight he should’ve known this was going to happen - he would’ve probably done the same. Wolffe punches him, then he even tries to choke him, but Fox grabs his hands, keeping him still.
“Wolffe…” he says, voice weirdly soft, as he tries his best to keep the other at bay. “It’s me… Wolffe… Stop!”
At that, Wolffe freezes and let’s Fox go. “Fox…”
“It’s fine,” Fox hurries to say, trying to be reassuring. “It’s fine…”
He doesn’t know how it happens exactly - he must’ve been so shocked that he barely registered it - but here they are with Wolffe held in Fox’s arms as he sobs quietly - or at least he tries to do it - while Fox caresses his hair in a silent attempt to bring him some comfort. He’d say something, but first of all he’s afraid of ruining things by running his mouth and potentially saying something that would turn out to be the wrong thing, secondly, he doesn’t even know what to say.
Saying something like “it’s fine” feels disingenuous at best, outright insulting at worst. No, it’s not fine, and who knows if it’ll ever be; he won’t lie to Wolffe like that, so he just keeps holding it, wondering if there even is a point to this, if this is actually helping.
He wasn’t expecting Wolffe to drag him down for a kiss.
These last few weeks have been full of stuff he wasn’t expecting, but this has to take the cake. Most unexpected of all, though, it’s the fact that he finds himself returning the kiss, that when Wolffe falls down on the bed, taking him with him, he goes along without batting an eye.
He feels his hands on his body and he doesn’t push him away, doesn’t try to stop him. Actually, he welcomes every move.
Weirdly enough, he feels like he’s been waiting for this to happen, but he has not, hasn’t he?
--
It’s not the first night they spend like this. After the first, it’s like something has changed inside them, a burning desire for the other that can be hardly satisfied.
In a way it’s not that different from when they’d constantly seek each other out in battle, only that now their duels are of a very different kind.
With this, however, a feeling of dread keeps hanging over Fox’s shoulders: he’s aware of what would happen to him - and Wolffe too - if they get caught, and the more Wolffe stays with him, the more likely it’s to happen.
Eventually, he’ll have to let him go, and Wolffe, well, he’ll go back to what he used to do, he supposes. If he managed to make a name for himself out there, he can do it again - besides, it’s not like he doesn’t have allies in the pirating business that would surely help him out.
Despite this, however, he finds himself unwilling to let Wolffe leave. For once, he wants to be selfish…
--
Things change on one night, a night that Fox has no intention of spending at home. He has too much to think about, and feels the need for some fresh air.
Besides, it’s been a while since he let himself be seen outside beside his duties; he wouldn’t want people to think that something’s up…
It’s weird, in a way, being so far from Wolffe…
Eh, look at him. Some shitty king’s guard he makes.
Before he has the time to react, he’s pulled into a dark alleyway, showed against the wall by two men that, on a more attentive exam, are two people that Fox didn’t even think were alive: Wolffe’s right-hand men, Boost and Sinker.
“Good evening, Foxie…” Sinker greets him with a grin, using the nickname that he knows makes Fox growl in fury, which in fact he does. He hates being called like that.
Boost, on the other hand, doesn’t share Sinker’s playful behavior. “Tell us where you’re keeping Wolffe locked up and we might not gut you like the dog you are,” he growls, pushing a knife against Fox’s throat, though Fox looks unimpressed.
“Very classy, like always,” he replies in fact, but that’s not all he has to say, even though he doubts it’ll help. “And, for your information, Wolffe is with me, and not locked in a cell.”
Boost and Sinker look at each other, and Fox knows already that this is going to be a looooong night.
--
Somehow he’s convinced them to come with him and see with their eyes, though they’re still wary of him, enough that, if he makes the wrong move, they’re going to gut him. It’s fair, he would do the same in their situation, he supposes.
He can’t lie: he’s surprised to see that there have been other survivors, considering what they have found. It makes him wonder how exactly they managed to hide from them, but when he tried to ask they shut him down immediately. It’s fine, he doesn’t care about it that much - liar and hypocrite.
At least Wolffe will be happy to see them…
--
Just as he thought, as soon as Wolffe sees Sinker and Boost with Fox, he runs towards them, just like the other two as soon as they see their captain alive and well. They meet halfway, almost colliding into each other for the excessive speed.
“I can’t believe it…” Wolffe mutters, drawing the two into a tight hug. “You’re alive!”
“We are!” Sinker tearfully replies. “And you! You are…!”
“So he wasn’t lying after all,” Boost mutters, turning towards Fox, who sagely doesn’t say anything despite how much he wants to retort to that, since he doesn’t want to ruin the moment. Actually, maybe he should leave, let them have a moment.
Before he can do that, though, he hears Wolffe scold Boost. “Don’t say that! He… He helped me quite a lot. He saved me, in fact.”
Yes, they’re all surprised at that admission, even Fox, despite the fact that he’s gotten used to the idea that yes, he did save him. Still, it’s weird to hear it directly from Wolffe’s ears.
“I… I should go. Give you some time alone,” he’s able to mutter, before retreating to the kitchen.
Coward…
--
When he hears the sounds of steps, he pokes out to see Boost and Sinker on their way to the main door.
“Where are you going?” he asks.
“None of your business,” Boost states, and after that, he walks out of Fox’s room, leaving Sinker lingering on the exit, but he still hasn’t moved.
He looks at Fox and he seems… hesitant, for some reason?
“Hey,” he begins, “… Thank you, for saving Wolffe.”
Fox’s old instincts push to retort that he hasn’t done it for them, but what would that accomplish? Nothing at all. If anything, it would be detrimental.
“It’s nothing…” he mutters, barely loud enough to be understood. Sinker looks at him, expression hard to read, then he leaves as well.
--
He doesn’t go to Wolffe immediately, afraid of what he’d see in him once he lays his gaze upon him: the happiness he must be feeling for having found some of his old crewmates and… the desire to leave.
Here he is again, being a selfish fuck. He shouldn’t be like this, and he knows that eventually he will have to let him go - he can’t continue this charade forever, and it’s important for both their lives that Wolffe leaves - but he can’t deny that it will hurt having to do that.
To think that that feared day might come soon…
He shakes his head, trying to get a hold of himself.
In the end, he got attached to Wolffe, something that he shouldn’t have done, something that is dangerous.
A sigh escapes his lips. Well, it’s not like he can do anything about it now, can’t he?
--
When he goes to Wolffe, he does indeed look the happiest Fox has seen him since he’s saved him.
When Fox steps into the bedroom, he finds him sitting on his bed, but as soon as Wolffe notices his presence he walks up to him and he kisses him with a fervor that he never used before. Fox, although surprised by such an initiative, especially now, can only submit to the attentions, and so doesn’t object when Wolffe walks him to the bed and pushes him onto him, following suit.
He keeps him close and he kisses him and kisses him and kisses him and takes him until Fox feels like he’s drowning, but eh, if he has to be honest, this wouldn’t be a bad way to go…
--
“So… Are you leaving?” Fox asks. He’s waited until he and Wolffe were done, and what better way to ask than now, while they’re both still recovering lying one beside the other? Sure, he might sour the mood, but Fox needs to know.
“… Yes,” Wolffe replies, suspiciously cautious. Is he hiding something?
There are many things Fox would like to say, so many that it creates such a mess in his mind that he just nods without actually uttering a thing. He has much to think about after all.
Apparently, Wolffe is of the same vein, because he keeps quiet as well. It’s like all the enthusiasm from before has vanished, leaving space to quiet contemplation.
Fox would do anything to know what he’s thinking about; he could ask, but he feels like if he does, he’d only make Wolffe less willing to share. No, he’s got to wait, admitting that Wolffe will share the conclusions he’ll reach after this moment.
He’s lucky, because soon, after a long sigh that doesn’t preannounce anything good, he turns toward Fox, a determined and serious look in his eyes.
“Come with me.”
Fox, taken off guard by such a request, can only reply with a “Where?” before mentally slapping himself. As if it’s not obvious where he wants him to go. “I can’t,” he quickly adds then, shaking his head.
“Why?” Wolffe asks.
Fox doesn’t know what to say; wouldn’t it be too easy to just leave his life behind, and for what even, exactly? No, he can’t do it, no matter how much he’d want to. “I…”
He wants to leave.
The realization hits him like a punch in the gut.
This is his life, what he worked hard to obtain. He has friends, here, people he cares about… and yet, he wants to leave them all behind.
He can’t deny how tired he’s got of everything. The kingdom’s falling into pieces and he seems to be the only one who has noticed it. Is this why he wants to leave?
Yes, but also not entirely: these weeks spent with Wolffe have been special for Fox. He’s never felt more alive than in the company of the same man who’s lying down with him, at his side.
To be able to leave with him… It would be a dream…
“What’s stopping you?”
Fear, Fox realizes. Fear is what’s stopping him.
Leaving with Wolffe would be such a drastic change from his usual life that he can’t help but to feel paralyzed at the prospect. How could he even get used to it? And if he regrets the change?
On the other hand, however, wouldn’t he regret not leaving? Wouldn’t he regret not following Wolffe? Yes, he would.
He can’t lie: he feels a certain thrill at the idea of living a criminal life with his beloved, but could it really become more than just a fantasy? Could they make it work?
He wants to make it work.
Yes, Fox wants this to work, he wants to be free and happy with Wolffe, and that won’t happen until they leave.
He takes Wolffe’s face between his hands and he kisses him, then he kisses him again and again, but when they pull away, he seems to be talking more to himself than to the other.
“Yes… Nothing’s stopping me.” He can leave if he wants - and he wants it. Nothing’s stopping him…
He looks back at Wolffe and every shadow of doubt is gone from his face. If he lets this occasion slip through his fingers, he’ll never forgive himself, he knows it.
Wolffe looks at him expectantly. “So that means…”
“Yes,” Fox says, “let’s do it.”
--
If you told Fox that one day he was going to find himself running away from the kingdom he’s served since he has memory, following his archnemesis turned lover, he would’ve laughed at you and then thrown you into jail. Funny how some things change, huh?
Here he is now, looking at his house one last time, before leaving it - and his previous life - forever behind.
There’s still some space - a very tiny one - for doubt in his head, but he’s made up his mind: he’s going to live his life to the fullest, and in order to do that, he needs to leave. Wolffe will surely show him a new side of life that he didn’t even know existed, Fox is certain of it.
He turns around, looking at Wolffe, who’s standing behind him, waiting for him to say goodbye to his old life.
When he notices Fox’s gaze on him, he sends him an interrogative gaze. “Ready?” he asks.
Fox stays silent. He walks up to Wolffe, taking his hand once he’s close enough and raising it to his lips, kissing his knuckles.
“Yes, let’s leave this place.”
He’s made up his mind, and nothing can stop him.

Clonetober #25 99 Growing Up
In this Story, I’m going to tell you an AU Story about 99 who has his SONS and their families over for Christmas Eve. 99 tells his Grandchildren about one of his ARMY stories and how helped train “His SONS” so they can be ready to JOIN the ARMY. I’m going to tell you who’s 99’s Sons and his Son's Kids. 99’s Sons are Wolffe, Fox, Cody, Rex, Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, and Wrecker. (Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, and Wrecker were adopted. They are around the same age as Wolffe, Fox, Cody, and Rex.) Since it this story is an AU Story, I came up with names for them.
Wolffe, Fox, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Dogma that will help you in this story later when see why I chose names for them. Also, I wrote it in a notebook then transferred it into my computer. So that’s why this STORY has taken me a long time to write. Here are the names I chose.
Wolffe: Wolfe Wilbert Fett
Fox: Fox Fredrick Fett
Wrecker: Winston Robert Fett
Tech: Theodore Tyle Fett
Crosshair: Christopher Henry Harry Fett
Dogma: Dominic Mateo Fett
I didn’t give Cody, Rex, or Hunter because they are real names but if I did come up with names for them, this is what they would be.
Cody: Cody Caleb Fett
Rex: Rex Ryker Fett
Hunter: Hunter Harvey Fett
Here are 99’s Grandkids.
Wolffe: Sinker (19 yrs), Boost (4 yrs), and Comet (2 yrs)
Fox: Rys & Jek (twins 13 yrs), Ponds & Stone (twins 12 yrs), Thire & Thorn (7), and Hound (3). Those were from Fox’s first Wife before they DIVORCE then Fox married Riyo. Kyle, Fox Jr., Lily (triplets 13 months old)
Cody: Waxer & Boil (twins 13 yrs) and Wooley (8 yrs). Cody DIVORCE his first Wife then he married Obi Wan who they adopted Numa (18 months old). Later Obi Wan will tell Cody that he is….that another story for another time.
Rex: Fives (18 yrs), Kix (17 yrs), Jesse (14 yrs), Hardcase & Dogma (13 yrs), Echo (12 yrs), and Tup (4 yrs). Rex got DIVORCE and then Married Ahsoka and had Jasmine & Jasper (twins 11 months old).
Now for Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, and Wrecker well…..let’s just say that Crosshair got a woman pregnant when he was drunk. The woman came to drop off a baby at his apartment where he and his Brothers are living at when it happened. His Brothers helped him take care of Baby Omega (7 days old). This was a SURPRISE for his other Brothers and their adopted PARENTS when they came to the Christmas Eve Dinner with Omega. Also, Omega’s Mom dropped her off at their apartment YESTERDAY. Yep. What a GREAT GIFT that Crosshair got! They weren’t going to take her to an ORPHANAGE because: 1. It was Crosshair’s Kid and was HIS responsibility. And 2. Omega was SO CUTE that they couldn’t give her away. Plus, she won Crosshair’s HEART when he was cooing at her as he was bottle feeding her in his arms. Crosshair didn’t really like kids but when Omega came, he was a TOTALLY NEW person. He slowly started to LIKE KIDS which TOTALLY shocked his Brothers and HIS ADOPTED PARENTS.
Anyway, as 99’s SONS were helping their Mom (except for Hunter who was talking to his Brothers’ Wifes and Obi Wan on how to raise a baby) with Dinner, 99 took his Grandchildren and Wrecker (so he wouldn’t eat ANY FOOD) to the Living Room. As the kids were following 99 into the Living Room, Wrecker tried handing Omega over to Hunter but she wanted to be with her Uncle Wrecker. Wrecker wanted to give Omega to Crosshair but he was helping with Dinner.
Once 99 took his Grandchildren, Wrecker with Omega into the Living Room, 99 sat in a chair next to the fireplace as his Grandchildren and Wrecker were sitting on the floor or on the couches to listen to 99’s ARMY stories and some stories about their parents.
I’m going to write it as if he is telling it to you. I will have “ to tell you that he is speaking to the kids and Wrecker.
“OK Kids. Come sit down. I’m going to tell you an ARMY story and a story about your DADS.”
All of his Grandchildren and Wrecker sat down either on the floor or on the couches to listen to his stories. Wrecker sat on the floor with Omega on his lap.
“Alright. Is everyone ready?”
They all nodded.
“Good. Have I ever told you why people call me “99” ?”
They all shook their heads except for Wrecker because 99 aka his DAD told Wrecker when he was little. Before 99 could say anything, Dogma raised his hand.
“Yes Dogma?”
Dogma asked if it’s because of how old he is. 99 just chuckles.
“No. I got the nickname 99 when I was in the ARMY. My ARMY Buddies and my Brother…..”
Before 99 could finish, Dogma yelled out saying, “YOU HAD A BROTHER!” (that was Dogma who said that even though I said that “ is when 99 is speaking.) After he said that, all his Brothers and Cousins (even Wrecker) turned to Dogma with angry faces and shhht at him. 99 sighed.
“Rex!”
Rex: Yes?
“Dogma is going to help you with dinner!”
Dogma: WAIT! NO! I don’t wan….
Now if you get in trouble….than you’ll know why I gave some of the Clones names.
Rex: (grabs Dogma) Sorry Dad. I’ll make sure that he helps with Dinner. Come here Mr. Dominic Mateo Fett!
Dogma: (being dragged and whales out) But I want to HEAR Grandpa’s Stories!
Rex: You will after you LEARN HOW to RESPECT OTHERS when they are SPEAKING! You are going to help Uncle Cody PEEL POTATOES!
Dogma: NO! I DON’T WANT TO! (whines)
After Rex took Dogma out of the room, 99 started to tell his Story.
“OK. Now where was I….OH YES! I remember. I was telling you kids how my Brother and I got our nicknames. When I was training at Camp “Kamino” with my Brother, our ARMY Buddies gave everyone in our SQUAD nicknames. My Brother Alfred got the nickname “Alpha-17” because he was older than me and the MAJORS chose him to be our SQUAD’S Lieutenant. Though, he only got 17% on his training but he was stronger than me and that the MAJORS chose him as a ROLE MODEL for our SQUAD.”
After 99 said that, he saw that his Grandkids and Wrecker were trying not to LAUGH but they couldn’t help it and just laughed.
“It’s OK, kids. You can laugh.” (as he chuckled)
Once he said that, the kids and Wrecker started to laugh. After 5 minutes of laughing, 99 got their attention in a soft voice.
“Alright. Alright settle down. Now that you know what my Brother’s nickname is, I’m now going to tell you how I got my nickname but you can’t tell anyone else. OK.”
They all nodded. Even Wrecker nodded his head.
“Good. I’m going to tell you my REAL NAME.”
The Kids and WRECKER looked at 99 with their big eyes.
“OK. My REAL NAME is Nathan Nicholas but even though 9 is SPELLED N.I.N.E and that I have 2 N in my name, I didn’t get it by that. Now when I told you that my Brother got his nickname from his training Right?!. Well I got my nickname the same way he got his. Now when my SQUAD were practicing our training, I got 99% passed on my training. The 1% I didn’t get was shooting. Yep. I couldn’t shoot a DARN Blasted thing. No Sir. I couldn’t even shoot that DARN BLASTED TARGET during TARGET PRACTICE! Well….Now that I think about it, I DID hit something.”
The kids and Wrecker had their eyes wide open.
Fives: What Did You Shoot Grandpa? Please tell us!
All the kids and Wrecker said the words (not the swear words) that you would ask someone to tell you more about it.
“OK. OK. I’ll tell you. I shot one of the MAJORS’S Butt. (chuckles) BOY! Was he mad as CRAP (he had to say that when he was telling them).”
99 laughs after he said that.
“Sorry…(laughs) Whew! OK. OK. (clears throat) Here’s what happened. When my ARMY Buddies, my Brother, and I were doing target practice, I was able to shoot the target but the TARGET I shot at was made out of metal. Yep! As I shot the TARGET, the bullet RICOCHET or y’all would say BOUNCE OFF the target and HIT the MAJOR in the BUTT.” 99 laughs. “Whew! I was on Bathroom Duty for 2 weeks!” Everyone (except Echo) laughed. While everyone was laughing, Echo raised his hand. 99 chuckles “YeS…(coughs then gets his voice back) Umm…Yes Echo? What is it?
Echo: I don’t mean to be rude but…umm…..I….umm…
“Let me guess. You want to know how Your Dad learned how to shoot so well yet I can’t shoot a Darn Blasting Thing. Am I right?”
Echo lowered his head and nodded as he was about to cry.
99 said in a soft voice (remember. Echo is 12 years old.)
“Oh Echo. It’s OK. Come here. (Echo walks towards 99 aka his Grandpa. 99 hugs him and puts him on his lap.) Let me tell you how your Dads learned how to shoot. Your Grandma taught your Dads how to shoot.”
All the kids (the ones that could speak) were so shocked that they started talking to each other in confusement.
Fives: (turns to Wrecker) Is that true?
Everyone turned to Wrecker.
Wrecker: Yep. Your Grandma aka my Mom taught us though she still doesn’t let me get a gun! Isn’t that right Dad.
Everyone turned to see 99.
“Your Darn Blasting Right she did and good thing she did too after you hit your Mother’s Brand New 1963 ASTON MARTIN DB5.”
Wrecker: HEY! It wasn’t my FAULT! We were practicing shooting while Mom was inside making Dinner. Crosshair scared me and…
Before Wrecker could finish what he was saying, they heard Grandma Shaak aka the Kid’s Dads/Uncles Mom (Grandma for the kids) yelling.
Shaak: Christopher Henry Harry Fett! (then hits Crosshair on the head when he said Yes?)
Crosshair: Yes? OUCH! What Did I Do?
Shaak: You told me that your Brother Winston Robert Fett (Wrecker’s REAL NAME I gave him) was trying to shoot that DARN **** BLASTED **** NO GOOD **** SQUIRREL THAT BURIES IT’S **** ACORNS IN MY **** GARDEN!
Hunter: MOM! PLEASE! You told us NOT to use that ***** Language……*******!
Shaak: Hunter Harvey Fett!! How DARE you us that ***** Language while there’s PRECIOUS ANGELS…OH *****! (yells) Sorry Kids. Grandma just lost her temporary!
Everyone who was in the Living Room just started laughing.
Crosshair: Sorry Mom but Wolffe dared me….
Shaak: Wolfe Wilbert Fett! (hits Wolffe)
Wolffe: OUCH! WHAT? What Did I….
Staak: Why Did You **** Tell Christopher A **** Dare?!
Wolffe: OUCH! But Mom…!
Shaak: Don’t You But ME! (sees Fox trying to leave the room and yells to Fox) Fox Frederick Fett! (yes. Fox is also a REAL NAME that I found on the internet)
Fox: OUCH!! HEY! I wasn’t involved when it happened even though Cody and Rex….
Shaak turned to Cody and Rex.
Cody: OH NO. NO WAY ARE YOU THROWING ME UNDER THE BUS! (means blaming someone else) Rex told me that Tech was a SCARED CA….
Rex: HEY! I wasn’t even there when it happened. I was helping Mom with Dinner! Tech wasn’t there with you either when it happened! He and Dad were visiting Grandma Yuri (Yaddle) and Grandpa Yael (Yoda).
Tech: It was true what Rex said about me being with….. WAIT! Did you say that I’m a SCARED CAT?! I’m not a SCARED CAT! (yells) Right Dad?!
“Don’t bring me into this Mr. Theodore Tyle Fett.”
Everyone in the Living Room laughed/giggled/chuckled.
Shaak closes her eyes and takes a deep breath in and out. After she does that, she looks at Dogma who was hiding behind Rex.
Shaak: (says in a soft voice) Don’t worry SWEETY. I’m not going to hit you. Grandma was saying something that happened before you were born. (then turns to her sons) We will talk about this more LATER! Cody! Go tell the others to wash their hands please.
After she said that, Cody left the room and went to the Living Room to tell everyone to wash up but he couldn’t finish his sentence because everyone in the room heard Shaak SCREAM.
Shaak doesn’t hear the timer go off because of the argument that happened.
Shaak: Looks like it’s time to take out……(smells something burning) MY PIE! (pulls out pie out of the OVEN)
After Shaak says that, Fox opens the oven with smoke and fire coming out of it. Fox and Wolffe do their BEST to put out the fire. As they are doing that, the smoke detectors go off and the Fire Sprinklers (Tech put them up one day but only in the Kitchen) go off making all the food get wet. Rex and Hunter did their best to take the food of the Kitchen Containers and on to the Dining Table. Crosshair runs into the Living Room and picks up Omega then runs out of the room and runs outside holding Omega closed to his chess.
“I'd better check on your Grandma. Wrecker. Go outside and get your Brother. I don’t want to see my NEW Granddaughter sick from the cold.”
99 takes Echo off his lap then reaches over to the right side of his chair and pulls out an ARMY Helmet. 99 gets up and starts walking out the Living Room.
Hardcase: Grandpa? Why are you wearing a helmet and why are you smiling?
“You’ll see. Follow me.”
99 started to walk out of the room but stopped in the doorway. He put the Hand Sign that you use in the ARMY. When they saw him do that sign, they saw Tech was running down the hall then down the stairs towards the basement to turn off the sprinklers. If he didn’t do that sign, Tech could’ve run over 99. After Tech went downstairs, 99 put his Hand Sign down then walked down the hall. He put his Hand Sign up again as they were about to enter the Kitchen.
“Stay here kids. You too, Sons.”
After he said that, the sprinklers were finally turned off. 99 saw his Shaak aka his Wife standing in shock as she was looking at everything that happened. Her SONS were going to calm her down but 99 put his Hand Sign up again, making them stop as he stood in front of Shaak where most of them could see her. As Shaak was turning around, she didn’t know that 99 was standing right in front of her and hit him. When Shaak hit 99’s helmet, her wooden spoon broke into pieces that went everywhere. As this was happening, 99 just kept on smiling as if he was LOVESTRUCK before she hit him on the head.
“You know you look beautiful even when you're angry.”
After he said that, he gave Shaak a kiss on her forehead. After he did that, Shaak hugged him and started to cry.
“It’s OK.”
Shaak: NO…(cries) No it’s….it’s not! (sobs)
“I’ve got a surprise for you. Cody! I need you to go out the backdoor and then go to the front door. And knock on it. When I count down to 3, I want you to open the door.”
Cody was confused but he did what his Dad said. Once Cody left out the back door, 99 told his Grandkids to go back into the Living Room so their Grandma and Grandpa could get to the door. 99 puts Shaak in front of the door but he moves her in a spot where the door wouldn’t hit her. Once she is in place, he then tells her to close her eyes. As she closes her eyes, 99 puts his hands over her eyes just in case she peeks. After he does that, they hear Cody knock on the door.
“OK. 3….2….1! Now Cody!”
After Cody opened the door, 99 took his hands off. Shaak then opens her eyes to see a truck with a trailer hooked up to it. Shaak was confused and asked 99 why this was in front of their house. He walks her to the trailer and knocks on the door. As the door opens, she gets ANOTHER SURPRISE. Shaak sees her other sons Gree and Gregor.
Shaak: Gabriel Forrest Fett! Gregory Grant Fett!
Gree: Hey Mom! Merry Christmas Eve.
Gregor: Hey Cody! How’s our Baby Brother doing?
Cody starts to blush with embarrassment.
Gregor: Hey Dad! We’re almost done.
“Good. Where’s…..”
Gregor: They’re in the other one.
Shaak: What is going on?
“You’ll see.”
99 takes Shaak around the truck and takes her to a HUGE RV. (almost the size of a tour bus) 99 knocks on the door. As the door opens, Shaak sees 99’s Brother Alpha-17. She also sees 99’s SQUAD Buddies in there as well. Colt, Blitz, and Havoc.
Alpha-17: Hey Little Brother! How are you doing?
Shaak turns to 99 and asks him what is going on.
99 just smiles at her then tells her this.
“I told them to come here to help with Dinner after we went to Skywalkers Christmas Eve Dinner last year. I didn’t want it to happen again so that’s why I called them. Plus…..This RV is ours.”
Shaak: You planned this didn’t you.
99 nods his head.
Shaak: I don’t know if I should kiss you or hit you again…..
“I think a kiss is your only option. Also, I bought you a new wooden spoon but it will come a few days after Christmas. Hope you are OK with the wait.
Shaak takes off 99’s helmet and gives him a kiss on the forehead. After she did that, told her Sons who were in the house to come out and help bring the food from the RV and Trailer into the house. Everyone had a great Christmas Eve Dinner. After Dinner, Dogma wanted his Grandpa to tell him the Stories that he told the others in the Living Room earlier. 99 was about to tell him but Cody stopped him and showed 99 that he had put a tape recorder in the Living Room before 99 entered the room to tell the kids his story. 99 was grateful to have great Sons and a Wonderful Wife. Plus, I don’t think 99 could be able to finish a story if Dogma kept on interrupting him as he told his story.
Thank you for reading my story. Sorry it took so long. It’s been crazy since it’s close to CHRISTMAS! Please let me know how you like it and if you want me to tag you in any of my stories. Hope you like it.

thoughts on loki ep 2: the variant (spoilers)
under cut to not disturb your scrolling
Overall I enjoyed so that's good
Uh frick my mind blanked so sorry if things are completely out of order
I don't know, I expected the renaissance fair to be 2012 or 2021 or 2024 (Loki's time, our time, current time in the "sacred timeline"). So I was genuinely surprised when it was in 1985.
Ok, i really like the title card thing. And how the year scrolls around. It's a nice aesthetic touch there.
I wonder why the female Loki variant chooses her locations? Does she have a thing for renaissance fairs, French cathedrals, and Oklahoma?
1985 is when Back to the Future came out. And it's y'know, one of the most popular time travel movies ever. So I think they chose that year as a reference.
Again, not liking that the minutemen only have numbers, not names. It is giving me lots of Clone Wars vibes. If you don't know anything about Clone Wars, the clones are given number identifiers by the Kaminoans. Things like CT-7567. The clones would give themselves names (CT-7567, for example, names himself Rex). A really good sign throughout the series that someone is a sketchy person is if they call the clones by their numbers. The clones don't want to be known as numbers. They are people too, they deserve names, so they come up with all sorts of creative names (Rex, Fives, Cody, Tup, Hevy, Hardcase, Echo, Waxer, Boil, Wolffe, Jesse, Kix, Fox, Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, Omega, Tech, Matchstick, etc). The jedi respect this, and the only jedi that i can think of that called clones by their numbers is Krell, who fell to the dark side. the Kaminoans and other sketchy people all call them by their numbers and the clones don't like it. A big focus of the show is on the clone's agency (at the end, they all have brain chips that take away their agency and force them to kill jedi), and how the clones need to be respected. So for me to see in another series that people are only given numbers is bad. What's worse is that the minutemen are fine with this. They don't see it as dehumanizing or belittling. They are brainwashed into being okay with it. Which says a thing or two about the Time Keepers.
did. did the renaissance fair really have Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero" for their renaissance themed fight? Is this normal? Was it normal in the '80's? We saw later that the female Loki can do electronic stuff. Did she rig it to play it? For the vibes?
Also the stuff before the song was about fighting for a princess, and in the end she kidnaps C-20.
Okay, btw, I'm just gonna say Lady Loki for a while because no one has explicitly said Sylvie yet, so I'm going to refer to di Martino as Loki until she or another calls her Sylvie. Cool? Cool.
I was thinking the "Holding Out for a Hero" fight would be the roomba fight or something. It is such a good song that has huge potential for this genre. Why did they use it in a lame fight as that one?
When Lady Loki did the spell on C-20, it looked similar to what Wanda and Agatha can do. As in, it had similar visuals.
Loki reading a random magazine he finds while sitting with his feet on the desk bored out of his mind because he has to learn sh*t is a MOOD.
What is Miss Minutes? She can jump around anywhere, and pop into computers. But she can't be just a projection. She took the effort to dodge Loki swatting at her, so that may mean she was corporeal. She also could be something similar to the Kree's Supreme Intelligence?
So, did Mobius give Loki the shirt, tie, and slacks, but really didn't give him the jacket until they had to call him in? What? That makes no sense? Did the TVA not have any jackets with the variant label? Did someone have to custom design a jacket for Loki?
What is up with this show giving me things I wanted to see only in holographic form? First we saw Coulson's death, and now Loki in his Jotun form in a holograph of another variant.
Okay, Loki being someone the TVA has to constantly deal with is very on brand. Loki is a creature of chaos, of course he's going to unknowingly rebel against the sacred timeline.
Also, headcanon that the Jotun Loki we see is king of Jotunheim because that would be epic.
Also, for personal reasons I choose to believe there is a Loki variant that defeated the Avengers and immediately went queer rights.
Loki's reaction to there being many Loki variants. He's seen what his life is supposed to be. I think he is even more upset that the TVA often deals with him, that there are so many things that could have been instead if it weren't for the TVA and the "sacred timeline."
Also, I totally think Mobius was waiting for another Loki to show up to help him defeat Lady Loki. They get them so often, it makes sense.
Loki explaining the difference between illusion projection and duplication was great. And very helpful to me personally understanding lore. Also, Mobius, get your crap together. If you're a Loki expert, figure this stuff out.
Loki calling the TVA out on propaganda, we love that.
The wolf quote is actually very nice, I quite like it.
Okay, the TVA doesn't even bury or cremate or do any sort of ritual for their fallen minutemen, they just reset the timeline. Which to me seems like another way to show how little the TVA actually care for their workers.
There are statues of the Time Keepers in Ravonna's office. The camera pays extra attention to it. Keep reading for more about Time Keepers and cinematography choices.
What. What sort of relationship does Ravonna and Mobius have? What is going on there? I am really confused.
Who is this "analyst on the side?" What is going on there?
Ravonna is MEGA SUS. Along with that, the Time Keepers are mega sus.
She signs R. Slayer. Yeah. Slayer. Not at all subtle, Marvel. Letting us know that she'll do the deed if needed.
Mobius you are sending me mixed signals. What do you want?
Okay, Mobius saying Loki was a "cold, scared boy" and an "ice runt" and stuff was totally a jab at Loki being Jotun.
Mobius saying Loki is insecure because of Lady Loki is...probably true.
With the elevator, the camera stops and focuses on the Time Keepers.
The Creation of the TVA, the beginning of time, the end of time, all classified. That is sus.
Loki almost crying over Ragnarok was good. Let him cry over the destruction of his home.
Loki being the one to discover something the TVA had no idea about after a day is on brand for Loki. And it shows how the TVA really are vulnerable.
Mobius: Really? In front of my salad?
No but the object lesson was well done and actually did help me understand what Loki was talking about.
Casey! Casey drinks grape juice! Imagine how confusing this is for Casey though. Loki is captured, threatens to gut you like a fish (whatever that means), and now he's dressed like an analysist, stealing your juice box. Does Loki get Casey more juice?
Honestly, Loki looking at everything logically and scientifically is fantastic. Adds to the science = magic thing Marvel's got going on, since Loki is a sorcerer.
Loki saying volcanoes are cool is fun. I agree. Volcanoes mean the planet is geologically active, which means we won't die. Also, there is a volcano named Loki on one of Jupiter's moons. I wonder if the creators knew that and put Loki in Pompeii because he is already linked with volcanoes.
Mobius telling Loki to start off small and Loki completely disregarding that felt very personal to me.
Loki being absolutely chaotic and telling everyone they were going to die while speaking perfect Latin was iconic. I want more of that content. Let the man be buckwild.
Again, Loki finding something out after a day that the TVA never knew about is on brand.
"Be free, my horned friends, be free!" I love that way too much.
Mobius being obsessed with jet skis wasn't something I expected, but I'm down for it. Heck, even Loki admitted they were cool.
The discussion on beliefs is going to lead to saying the Time Keepers are bullcrap. Hopefully.
Grapes and nuts are "candy" on Asgard. So, when Loki was eating grapes in Ragnarok, we can interpret that as him eating M&Ms. Second, this might add to something I've seen around here. I've seen things about a book somewhere with Loki saying chocolate fountains are mythical (which is really funny to me). So, I guess Asgard really doesn't have chocolate.
Oh my gosh, so many apocalypses between 2047 and 2051...hopefully none of those happen in real life.
Roxxcart is probably part of Roxxon, something that has been around in Iron Man movies.
Lady Loki got the shovel thing from Roxxcart that she left in Oklahoma! The minutemen said it was from the early third millenia, which is where we are now! 2050 also fits that category!
I saw something about the file saying Class 8 hurricane...there are only 5 classes...which means this is a crazy storm.
Does B-15 want Loki dead? This is a legitimate question, because I think she does. Dead or pruned.
Loki looking around at the storm, I love it. This could be him loving science, or him missing Thor, since Thor creates storms. Also, at this point Loki probably things Thor dies shortly after him in the sacred timeline, so Loki would be particularly sentimental about Thor.
I love Loki drying himself off and not anyone else. And B-15 yelling about his magic. And Loki's motions are so fluid, it's so aesthetically pleasing, I love it.
Dudes, I thought B-15 was going to try to prune Loki when they were alone.
Okay, was Lady Loki bsing about the azalea sale, or does Roxxcart actually do that? I want to know.
Wunmi Mosaku did a really good job as Lady Loki, I loved it.
Loki being annoyed at Lady Loki and saying he understood how Thor felt, does that insinuate Loki can do what Lady Loki was doing?
B-15 and C-20 were both very shaken after being possessed by Lady Loki. I wonder how that felt for them? We've had different explanations of mind control/brainwashing/similar from Clint, Bucky, Daisy, Mack, Fitz, and Monica in the MCU (including AoS). I wonder what is specific to Lady Loki's possession.
C-20 kept going on about something being real. What was that about?
C-20 revealed the location of the Time Keepers to Lady Loki!
Lady Loki not wanting to be called Loki could be a sign she is Sylvie.
There's something weird where Loki's voice echoed around while the camera focused on Lady Loki. Maybe she's telepathic?
Someone needs to keep a tracker on people telling Loki this isn't his story in a show literally about him.
But, that does add to themes for his life, and how everything was always about someone else in his life. He was always a supporting character for Thor, for Odin, for Thanos. Now, even in his own story, everyone insists he doesn't matter.
I was wondering what the reset charges would be used for. I wasn't expecting a massive bombing of the sacred timeline! Wow! That was unexpected and I loved it!
Okay, this isn't from me, this is from New Rockstars. But to list all the places mentioned on chronomonitors, either bombed or not: Knowhere, Barcelona, Niflheim, Dartford, Phong Nha, Lisbon, Vormir, Thorton, Cookeville, Asgard, Rome, Sakaar, Barichara, Porvoo, Ego, Titan, New York City, Tokyo, Hala, Kingsport, Xandar, Beijing, Madrid, Portland, Jotunheim. Bolded are other planets. Those are almost all the planets visited in the MCU. So fun easter eggs there!
I like Lady Loki's aesthetic. The fingerless gloves, the cloak, I love it. And YES SHE ISN'T SEXUALIZED. So many genderbent characters are excuses to sexualize women. But Lady Loki is just as covered as the male Lokis.
Lady Loki just...left the time door open for Loki to follow...for a really long time...I'm worried he's running into a trap.
What is Loki going to do now?
Theory time y'alls: Lady Loki bombed the sacred timeline to flush the minutemen out of the TVA, leaving it defenseless. And she's gonna go after the Time Keepers themselves. We know she gets into the TVA from trailer footage, and that's what I think we're gonna see next episode. I think she (like the Loki we are following) is upset over the lack of free will, and she plans to change that. That's why she wasn't interested in helping Loki "take over" the TVA, because she doesn't want to become the leader of a new TVA, she wants it destroyed.
Alright, back to the Time Keepers stuff. They keep focusing on the middle Time Keeper. Even in the end credits they have a weird cut to focus directly on his face. I'm not 100% on this, but I like this theory. That face is similar to Jonathan Major's, the actor confirmed to be Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Kang is a well known time travelling villain in Marvel. Maybe he is Kang, and is using variant versions of himself (that's a Kang thing in the comics) to mess with the timeline, and no one expects that from him. Also, Renslayer was his S/O for a bit in the comics, and they keep framing her in front of that one Time Keeper's face. I feel like this would be a good way to set up Quantumania and to show how sus the Time Keepers are.
Also, Loki was absolutely adorable the entire episode. And he got to sleep! Yay for him!
Again, I enjoyed, and can't wait for next week!

If you give a Plo a Trooper 3/?
He might just want some more. Plo Koon decides that he can't just leave Boba to rot in prison after the number of times the child has been failed by the Republic and Jedi order already. Especially after Wolffe comes to him with some new information.
Fox reminisces on his past before going to check on his oldest and littlest batchmate.
Chapter 1 // Chapter 2 // AO3
CC-1010 was part of a six clone batch. They were part of a larger grouping of clones all destined for command positions but his batch in particular was set to be the best of the best. He was the second clone to be decanted. The first was gone by the time he came to blinking as his awake mind processed all the information that had been loaded into it as he had been growing. He knew his name and rank, knew how to understand spoken basic. He had... memories that he knew weren't really his of something called a Buir that was warm and safe and told him "Jate ad'ika! So good." As the not-him pointed out colors and creatures and matched them to pictures in a book on the floor. He wished the memories belonging to not-him actually belonged to him. Instead his first memories were of detached eyes and cold calculating gazes in an even colder room.
"Cee cee one zero one zero, are you functional?" A voice from one of the beings that had woken him asked and he nodded.
"Elek." He answered certain that was the right word but he received a frown as the being input something into a datapad.
"We will have to adjust the language centers for future batches. But it's likely a side effect of having the prime's memories injected into their mind. They will likely have some of the habits he also had that will need to be corrected." One of the long necked beings said and the other nodded.
"If it doesn't effect their performance negatively then we will allow it. It was specifically requested we keep the higher ranking clones as close to the prime sample as possible." The second replied and turned back to him.
"Do you understand us? Answer in yes or no." It demanded.
"Yes." He replied this time though his eyes had wondered to the tank next to him as they started preparing to decant the next child.
"This one is mentally aware and seems calm. Take him to have the medical scans done." The second long neck ordered, clearly higher ranking than the first which grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him away just as his batch mate sucked in their first breath and their eyes fluttered open. But the doors closed before Fox could see anymore.
He was given a full medical exam, put through several scans and then dressed and sent to his batch's dorm room. It was separated from the common clone barracks and held only 5 beds. He wondered why there were only five beds when there had been 6 tubes in the room but he had decided that if he needed to know he would be told. The clone that had been decanted after him was soon left in the room as well.
"Is it just you? I saw two empty tanks." He asked and 1010 shrugged.
"Never saw him. Was empty when I woke. Now we're here." He said as more memories and information settled in his mind. It was weird that it was all there for him to latch onto if needed but only slowly settling into his brain otherwise. He supposed it was to keep them from going crazy. Having prime's memories inserted but in a way where you had to search for them to see them.
Their third and fourth batchmate were brought in together and the fifth and final stepped in alone. They were given directions on when to arrive for their first classes and that they would meet their trainer soon before they were left alone.
"We're already missing one?" Asked the last one to enter the room, 2224 he thought their number was.
"I guess they didn't survive. We're all lucky we did. I think." The one who had come after him spoke. They all settled into their beds.
"Actually-" Another voice interrupted them and they all looked towards the door where a man in sliver and blue Mandalorian armor stood without his helmet on so they could all see his face. Prime.
"Your batchmate was chosen for a special purpose. But he is alive. His name is Boba." Prime told them and they all hurried to stand.
"I've decided to train your batch myself. Which means you need names. I'm not listing off a bunch of numbers every time I want to address one of you. You- first word that comes to your mind?" He pointed at 1010 and he jumped a little.
"Cunning." He said automatically hoping that was the correct answer to whatever Prime had wanted.
"Cunning... You'll be Fox then. You now cadet, give me a word." He pointed to the boy next to him.
"Fierce." He said looking proud of himself but he had gotten more time to think of his word.
"Hmmm. You'll be Wolf then." Prime decided and went through the three others the same way. The boy saying steady was named Stone and the boy who said thunder was named Thire. The youngest of the batch was quiet for a moment before meeting Prime's eyes with conviction.
"Kote. I want my name to be Kote." He decided and Prime raised a brow but nodded.
"Fine. Kote. Fox, Wolf, Stone, Thire and Kote. You are Command Squad 01 however that's also a pain to say I'm calling you Ka'ra Squad for now. You will train with me or whoever I assign to train you in my absence. You will be the best warriors in this army and soon you will learn to train others. For tonight, you need to get some rest. You wake with the sun." He told them before leaving.
Fox fought down the disappointment that he didn't tuck them in like the Buir in not-him's memories but the non-memory related information in his brain told him that training needed sleep and he wasn't going to wait around and wait valuable sleep time.
Boba, they would later find out, had been chosen to be prime's son and didn't age at double the speed like they did, so he was still just a baby when Prime got him. He was so much smaller than them it was hard to think they all were from the same original batch. Fox thought he was a spoiled brat who needed to be taught a lesson. Kote had reminded Fox that he was Prime's son and that if they didn't want to be decommissioned, they had to be nice.
That was all what felt like a lifetime ago now, as he sat in front of a monitor staring at his brother, his batchmate, sobbing as another brother shaved off his hair. Boba had always had pretty wavy hair. He looked wrong sporting a buzz. Looked even more wrong with the fact he was chained to his chair and blood was dripping from where his cuffs had cut into his skin in his efforts to avoid the clippers. Fox felt sick watching his vod'ika being treated this way.
"He got Ponds killed." Stone's voice brought him back and Fox turned away from the screen.
"The fact he took down an entire cruiser alone would be impressive if it had belonged to the seppies." Fox said thoughtfully.
"It wasn't so hard to watch when it was Slick." Stone murmured and Fox nodded.
"Slick wanted to hurt others. He wanted to make a statement. Boba just wanted justice and... I don't blame him." Fox said honestly. "Prime raised us too. We weren't Boba but..."
"He was still the closest thing we had to a dad. Yeah. I know. Were you there? Geonosis?" Stone asked. They had all long been split up at that point. Fox nodded.
"Nastiest sithspit I've been part of. How Boba survived that at all is a miracle. I... Does he really deserve this?" Fox asked looking back to the camera where Boba's cell had been cleaned out and he had been lightly sedated before his cuffs were removed and he was left on his cot.
"It's not our choice. He got vode killed and he threatened the lives at least 3 Jedi plus Padawan Ahsoka. The fact they aren't decommissioning him is only because Master Windu stepped in on his behalf. Although... I heard Master Plo might be trying to arrange something." Stone told him and Fox's shoulders fell in relief.
"Well in that case I have a little brother to bother. Can't let Wolffe get all the fun with him." He said and Stone rolled his eyes tossing him a baggy of cookies.
"Don't tell him those are from me. I'll go stop Thire from planning to bust him out." He chuckled and Fox snorted.
"That's probably for the best." He said before making his way down to Boba's cell thoughts on rainy nights on Kamino and a little brother who was older than him sneaking into their rooms to tuck their blankets tighter around their shoulders and press kisses to their foreheads.
Maybe he never had a Buir, but he always had an ori'vod and he couldn't fail him now that Boba needed him. If Wolffe's Jedi didn't come through then Fox was taking him himself and the Chancellor would just have to suck it.

How do you think the (command) clones each got their names?
Good Question....
Well, uh leeme just do research and all the jazz. Okay, so I looked up the meaning and each clones' personality. I was gonna do Bacara but I need to give character to this boy first.
◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
Cody- cushion/helpful;
Cody got his name some time after the first battle of Geonosis. He had several nicknames, the most popular was 'Prince of Kamino.' When growing up he was a hard worker and was their version of a teacher's pet. He would help out in the medbay, help 99 clean and anything the Kamionions said he could. He became very dependable and a 'cushion' to land on. He got his name after he survived the impossible gun ship crash in which he was the only survivor, they saw he was a dependable soldier and even while he was bleeding out, he always put his duty and his brothers first, able to let them fall on him. Cody's dependable even in a time of crisis.
Fox- sly/dishonest;
I actually do have a fic on this lol- so Fox and Colt were batchmates and Fox had listened to Colt blabber on for weeks about Cody's record that he wanted to break. Colt told Fox everything, while he trained during the day, Fox trained at night. The day Colt's name was to replace Cody's, he found Fox's name. He'd gone behind Colt's back, using his strategy and the two got in a fight, Colt called him a Fox because he'd promised to let Colt have this honor, and maybe Fox was, but he wanted the glory. So he lied and stole it right under Colt's nose.
Colt- young horse;
Okay, Colt got his name at a younger age because he was known to be really athletic, especially in running and hurdles, he excelled physically and pushed himself to the brink. His name came from his ability to just keep going and his incredible sportsmanship. So much that it reminded everyone of a horse, along with his skill, he had the muscle, Colt's a certified beefcake. He was still very young when he was named, but he liked the idea of a noble creature that people honor in battle. He's a bit reckless and wild, harder to get him to listen to someone, but once he trusts someone, he will tell them everything and trust them with his life. He expected the same until Fox.
Bly- gentle and happy;
Bly was always a quiet one growing up, and rather sleepy too. His brothers would call him 'sleepy' from time to time, but he hated that. He was a lot more interesting than a sleeper. As he got older, his closest brothers watched how passionately he watched the sunset or him smiling in the rain. They saw Cody had gotten him to volunteer in the medbay and everyone noticed how gentle he was with his younger brothers, everyone could tell he would have been an excellent father in another life because he was so happy caring for his little brothers. He never stopped smiling and always got them to laugh. So his name, Bly, was presented to him because he deserved a name that honored him and his compassion and love for others.
Ponds- love of water;
Ponds is pretty self-explanatory, he loves water. Really, whenever it rained in Kamino and he could sneak out, he'd be splashing in the puddles with Bly and laughing and dancing like no tomorrow. Whenever it rains while on a mission or leave, he's out there acting like a child. His name was chosen because he was sitting at the edge of a pond skipping rocks once, Mace had found him and they skipped rocks for several hours and at the end when the sun was setting, Mace asked why he'd never chosen a name, and Ponds had said there wasn't a name in the Galaxy he liked enough as he liked water. Mace then said, "Well, for now, how about Ponds?" Mace then took him to the Jedi Temple to research every term for water but by the end, Ponds admitted his name had more meaning than any of those they'd written down because Mace had chosen it.
Gree-
Officially, the boy loves alien species, which is how he got his name. Gree advanced in studying Kamionions and they gave him access to the archives of all other species on Kamino. Eventually, he became sort of a vet, treating the injured animals and Gree had a real bond for them, he really loved the animals and releasing them after they were healed, if they didn't make it, he mourned their deaths with every fiber of his being. Inevitably, he got access to studying other species and even learned several languages. He was in the vet area and a Kamionion had called him Gree, she had then admitted she and her fellow Kamionions had been calling him that due to his love of different species, and he instantly adopted the name.
Wolffe- it really is just an alternative way to spell Wolf. So I went off the meaning of a wolf.
Wolffe is a natural leader, a fighter. Even when he's injured he keeps fighting, if he ain't bleeding on the ground dying, he is shooting and holding his own. He makes sure no one gets left behind, when there's a retreat or something, he's the last one back. He'll protect his men with his whole life and get vicious when someone tries to hurt them or tell them they're not enough, he will attack you and will hurt you. He's smart and plans his moves carefully but he doesn't hesitate becoming a bit 'Savage' if needed. Which is why he started calling himself Wolffe, because he is quiet and watching until he can no longer remain peaceful

Snowing peace
Pairing: Wolffe x reader
Warnings: some angst in the beginning due to post war but just soft wolffe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was the first day of winter on Coruscant. And winter means Christmas and snow. And a Christmas market full of happiness and cozyness. But it also was the second month of peace. With the Seperatists and and thh Sith lord gone, there is finally peace and freedom. The new chancellor made sure of that.
But what they also made sure of was rights. Rights and equality for the clones. It was a hard fight against some senators and the kaminoans, but the chancellor never rested. Some Jedi also didn’t. Demanding justice for the men and soldiers that lost more than anyone. That sacrificed more than anyone. And hurt the most physically and emotionally. It was a hard progress but in the end justice succeeded.
And clones became citizens. Some even left for new worlds to start new with their brothers at their side and the support of the republic. Some stayed, not sure what to do yet. Many didn’t leave their armour behind or destroyed it, it holding far too many stories and memory’s of fallen brothers and Stories of bravery and Courage. You saw the struggle in them. All of them. The way Echo looked at the leftover armour parts of Fives’ that Rex still had when they decided to destroy them.
But also the pride in the eyes of the 501st when Fives got declared a War hero. Standing up for something he knew was right, knew could cost him everything but still fought with everything. A lot was later discovered, for example the whereabouts of the medic kix and the evidence needed for clearing up the name of Commander Fox in regards of Fives. Poor man was manipulated from the start and a broken soul, but now finally at peace with himself.
And the Wolfpack? No one was surprised when they all declared themselves part of the Koon family, making Plo Koon their honorary father. Almost all of them. Why it’s said almost all of them? Because the oldest son, the lone wolf of the pack, still felt responsible about what happened. And oh so guilty. No one was able to completely stop Order 66 from happening.
So here you stand at the clone barracks, everything decorated with Christmas things like small Christmas tree decorations and mistletoes, a mug of hot chocolate in your hands with scarf and a beanie on. Everywhere were clones, running or standing around in civilian clothes with different hairstyles and some with their brothers or with their partners, enjoying the time.
Standing before you was former Commander Wolffe of the 104th battalion, in a dark grey coat and and dark blue jeans, with a black turtleneck peeking out from the coat. “It’s kriffing cold.” Were his annoyed words as he stuffed his hands further into his coat and slightly stepped closer to you. Smiling up at him you realised how relaxed he looked. Peace looked good on him and it suits him well.
Snickering you took a sip from your hot chocolate. “I told you to wear the scarf Boost made you. It’s too cold, even for you.”
Glaring at you, he huffed and turned away from you and let his gaze wander around while sporting red cheeks and a red nose due to the cold. Sadly it wasn’t that prominent due to his melanin but doesn’t mean he still didn’t look cute with it. Smiling, you went back to drinking your hot chocolate when you spotted Jedi Master Plo Koon. Waving at him, you beckoned him over while not missing the way Wolffe stiffened next to you.
“I was wondering where I would find you two. I haven’t seen you two in a long time.” Were the kind words of the Jedi. It was true. You and Wolffe did spend a lot of time alone in your apartment, redecorating and just spending time together. You are glad you did it. It gave Wolffe the time and space he needed to come to terms with everything. The last thing you two did was build the Cupboard with the glass doors, which now showcases Wolffe’s armour in all it’s glory. You didn’t ask why, knowing the armour meant a lot to him with the colours and every mark being another survived mission and step closer to peace.
Nodding you moved to interwind your fingers with Wolffe’s “Yes we spent a lot of time together taking care of someone’s soul and mind.” Squeezing Wolffe’s Hand you let it go and stepped back “I’ll be back in a second, my cup is empty” winking at wolffe you turned around and left, ignoring the panicked look he shot you. It was time for him to face this.
“Wolffe.” No response. “Wolffe.” Nothing. “Son”
“Don’t call me that” was the sharp response of the former soldier. “I lost the right for that name when I was close to-“ god he couldn’t even say it. He never will be able to. Schooling his facade, he backen the stoic man everyone knew back when he was still commander.
Letting out a sigh Plo shakes his head. “You never lost the right and never will.” Shocked eyes looked back at the Kel Dor. “You had no influence on your actions but still tried your best to keep everyone save. You will always be my son.” Moving forward the Jedi places both hands on the shoulders of the still shocked young man. “I will lay my life down I to your hands any day again my son. I trust you. So now I ask do you: please trust yourself again.” With that, the Kel Dor pulled Wolffe into his arms, holding him tight.
Standing a good distance away we’re you with Boost and Sinker, all careful watching the exchange and letting out a breathe they didn’t knew they held when Wolffe finally moved his arms and slowly hugged the Jedi back. “Finally, I’m sorry but seeing Plo sad is always awful. Can’t believe it took them this long” snorting Sinker lightly punched Boost’s arm.
“You know we would have had to wait longer if it wasn’t for them taking care of him. You know how stubborn he is.” Talking amongst themselves, you slowly made your way back to the father son duo, who are slowly letting each other go.
“Never think like that about yourself again my son, okay?” Despite still not looking the Jedi Into his eyes, the young man nodded his head a few times. Smiling softly, Plo gave his shoulders one last squeeze, said goodbye with an “I’ll see you around” and left.
Stepping next to your partner, you slowly extent your hand and hold a cup of sweetened tea under his nose. “Drink, I know you are cold and your nerves can use it.” You couldn’t stop the smile form forming on your face when he moved his hands to slowly take the cup while he still stared at his fathers back.
“He said I- that I-“ he stammered.
“I know.”
Chuckling he slowly moved his hand to correct the way the beanie sits on your head. “Of course u do” rolling his eyes he kissed your forehead gently while pulling you closer. You were shocked by the openly physical show of affection but enjoyed it anyways. “You were right. He... he never was mad at me.”
Taking a sip you simply shrugged your shoulders. “I know. You know I am often right about the things I say.”
“Let me be the judge of that okay? Just bc u were right once...” rolling his eyes again, he continued to sip his tea.
Smiling at the banter, you further leaned into his side, bathing in the presence that is your partner and enjoying the cozy feeling.
Everything will be better from now on. You know it. And with the first falling snowflakes, you give yourself the promise to do everything in your power to make this man happy.
Forever
