My short documentary film 'John' was screened last night in ICA London at the London Short Film Festival as part of the FOURWALLS London competition. It was a great experience being in a room with people laughing and enjoying the film in person, a lot of my films are online and so that physical feedback was really important and I really enjoyed the whole experience!
'John was born in 1937 in South London, he has witnessed the city's many changing faces first hand. 'John' whilst relevant to the current housing crisis, highlighting the issue of families being split up through rising house prices and the need for council housing, is a nostalgic short documentary film that tells John's personal and local story.'
