I made a family tree for Midas and Lorenzo's closest relatives. More members may be added at some point, such as kids for Redux and his wife, but I haven't decided on any yet.

Lorenzo's biological mother is at the top, and the two below her are his adoptive parents. He ends up reconnecting with his bio mom, but his bio dad will never be in the picture, so I'm not going to bother adding him. I haven't found a skin for him anyway, and it's not important.

Jules's mother passed away and is obviously no longer with Midas, which is why there's a dotted line between them.

This was fun to make! I won't be doing this with most pairings, but Midas and Lorenzo are very special to me, and I want to include their family in content.

I want to speak specifically on the third point.

Is the market actually saturated? Is it? Off the top of my head I can only think of two maybe three actual hero shooters. The first and biggest is Overwatch. The second is Paladins. And the third is Team Fortress 2. Things like Valorant, Apex Legends, and, I guess, Fortnite are battlegrounds. Smite/Smite2 and Deadlock are MOBAs.

I point this out because I was actually looking for something akin to the original Overwatch- and there's not really anything out there. The original Overwatch, at least the first year of it, was super casual and fun. But, then the sweats took it over and the game became "Who has the better sniper?"

Outside of Team Fortress 2, which has been destroyed by bots, there's really not anything "casual" out there that creates the feeling of the original Overwatch. There's Paladins, but that game is so wildly janky that it really isn't fun at all to play.

Frankly, I don't think Concord failed because it was a hero shooter- the market is not nearly as saturated as people think it is. I just don't think people cared about another bland live service competing for their time. AND, Marvel Rivals is coming out in December. A lot of people are hyped about that. Of course, it is being published by NetEase...

Concord kicks the Dustbin just 2 weeks after release

In what has to be record breaking first of what has to be the fastest a live service game has released and shut down. Sony’s failed Overwatch-clone hero shooter Concord has (long since) kicked the bucket with a whopping record of a mere 14 days (That’s 2 weeks or 336 hours, hell I have a longe playtime on SV and Animal Crossing logged than that. Not to mention some other people who have up to 1000+ hours on many other titles.)

While I myself was not actively following the whole Concord (or Conchord as some people have taken to calling it) pre-release controversies and all, there were several factors on why this title was DOA to begin with:

Poor marketing on Sony’s behalf. Why I’m I not surprised, I didn’t hear literal shart about this title until a few days before it even released.

Characters were apparently rather generic and not memorable. Always a big issue with games

And most importantly over all, it being a hero shooter/FPS in general. Like do you know how oversaturated that market is? Like we get at least 10 of these games every year that just die months later.

But yeah, in a year where many flops have dropped I’m not very surprised at this point.

Midas and Redux are officially siblings in my universe! I took the idea from NewScapePro because I've been watching their videos for awhile and have gotten really attached to that relationship.

And these are their parents who I came up with. I'm surprised I found someone who looks so much like Redux when they don't even share the same model. Very lucky! Midas obviously resembles his mother more.

The skin names are Wildstreak One and Deadlock. As with Lorenzo's parents, I'll be coming up with real names and changing the outfits, but these faces are perfect!
