A wading bird at Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. I need a little help on this one. I think it's a young great blue heron, but its colors seemed much more brown than gray or slate blue like on the adults. There were several of these around the reserve. I saw one catch a turtle, but it must have decided it was too big to eat, because it dropped it and kept looking. #birds #birdsofinstagram #edwinbforsythenationalwildliferefuge #forsythenwr #wildlifephotography #wildnewjersey (at Edwin B.
