Masky, Hoddie or Toby (You decide) with a hippie m reader ✨😤🫶🏻
Punk!Masky x Femboy!Hippie!Reader x Punk!Hoodie their implied demons
Guns/noncon/bottom male/degradation/feminization/cameras
The lake was welcomingly cold as you dipped your feet into it, the feeling of the flowers blowing in your hair was therapeutic. The sun was warm as you tilted your head back, eyes closed and soaking in the suns rays. Lately it seemed harder and harder to get yourself out here, despite living less then an hour away. The normalities of life always seemed to intercept your journey here lately, the last time had been two months ago.
The wind lightly blew at your skirt, the ruffled fabric rubbing against your thighs. A loud twig snapping had you spinning around, eyes searching the forest. Luckily the forrest only had black bears, at least you had a chance. However if it was a pissed off moose you considered your life already over, you had always been on the naive side of things. Convinced if you minded your business then everything else would leave you alone.
You stood up on shaky legs and quickly slid your shoes back on, making sure to keep darting your eyes around the forest. Part of you was annoyed, it was the only place you had been able to freely be yourself and now it felt like it was about to be ripped out from right under your feet. Your instincts kicked into overdrive, you felt like a tiny mouse backed into a corner.
You should’ve payed closer attention to your other side. A heavy body suddenly had you being shoved to the ground, whining as you hit the ground.
Your mind whirled when you heard the clicking of metal, ice flowing through you as the sound of a gun being cocked next to you overrode your brain. Panicked eyes turned to see the cause, the barrel of a gun filling your vision and trapping you still. Stones and broken branches dug into your thighs but you couldn’t take your eyes off of the gun. Your entire body quivered when you shakily looked up to see a masked man.
You didn’t need to stand to know the Goliath of a man was easily double your size, your breathing was shaky. Your mind was entirely frozen. The sound of a camera going off behind you felt like a bullet as you quickly flipped yourself over to see another man, his mask seemed impossibly black with red eyes and a big frown stitched on. You whimpered and pushed yourself back only to feel stone cold metal pressing against your now exposed ass.
Your eyes never left the gun as he used it to push your skirt up further. “N-no.” Was all you could choke out with a whimper, drawing a chuckle from both of the men currently standing over you. Tears dripped from your eyes as you looked up at the man with a frown, his camera set on you as his friend used his gun to dig into your ass. He intently watched as the gun made indents in your ass, biting his lip under his mask as he teased you. The sight of you shaking beneath him, so easily accessible had nasty thoughts running through Masky’s mind.
You let out a scream when Hoodie suddenly darted forward, his leather clad hands gripped your wrists tight as he yanked you up. You begged and sobbed until Masky’s gun pressed into your cheek. “It’s cute hearing you beg like a good bitch.” Masky’s voice was incredibly gruff, sending warmth to you stomach that you cursed.
Hoodie tied your hands behind your back, as Masky slipped his gun into your mouth. You whined around the metal as you sobbed openly, Masky wasted no time sliding the metal into your throat. He watched you without blinking as he fucked your mouth with his gun, you struggled against the rope Hoodie had bound your arms with.
“Well, theres no point in hiding.” Masky smirked as he pulled his mask off, dropping it to the ground. He had a few piercings and tattooes covering his face, you would’ve found him attractive if he didn’t currently have a gun lodged down your throat. You hated it but you could feel your own cock twitching under your skirt. “Look how hard she is.” Masky’s tone was mocking as he pulled your skirt up, Hoodies rough hands grabbing your biceps hard enough to bruise to keep you still.
You tried to turn away but Hoodie’s hand was quick to wrap around your throat, keeping you pinned in place. “Ple-please don’t do this.” You sobbed out, feeling petals fall from your hair and down your shirt. “But you made yourself so easy for us.” Masky chuckled, dark eyes pinning you in place. Masky’s hands carefully listed your shirt, dragging his leather clad fingers against your skin. His free hand kept the gun pointed under your jaw, giving you no option but to submit to the men currently having their way with you.
You gasped when Masky’s finger began circling your nipple, arching back into Hoodies strong chest. They both towered over you, Hoodie using one hand to keep you pinned to his chest while his other played with your other nipple. Desperate whines flew from you, your cock leaking precum. The rough leather of the gloves sent sparks running up your spine, dizziness enveloping your mind. Suddenly Masky was putting his gun back into its holster, freeing up both of his hands to grab and tug at your flesh.
Your face burned with shame as you moaned, Masky pulled your shirt over your head, leaving your arms trapped. The tight material of the shirt pulled your shoulders back, causing your chest to push out. You felt unbelievably weak completely defenceless between the two men.
You wanted to plead again for them to stop, instead biting your lip as you knew it’d only spur them on. Masky was groping your chest, his fingers squeezing and pulling your nipples. Both men relished in the moans they forced from you, Masky had to take a moment to appreciate your fucked out expression, his hands gripping your cheeks. All you could do was stare up at him with teary eyes as he examined your face. Tears dripped down your cheeks and your hair was stuck to your face, flowers that once lay neatly in your hair were now torn and you were left with petals tangled into your locks.
“Atta boy.” Hoodie praised, hand rubbing your stomach as your body finally dropped in their hold, submitting. You knew you had no use in fighting, and it’d only hurt you in the end. The feeling of fingers sliding into your hole had you tensing back up, yelping loudly as two digits began roughly slamming into your virgin hole. It burned but his long, thick fingers easily found your prostate. He was set on slamming into it, your screams echoing through the forest. “A-ah fuh-fuck!” You elled as you came, body curling into itself as Hoodie forced you through an orgasm.
You fell into Masky’s chest sobbing, wailing louder when he pulled your ass apart, spreading you open and allowong Hoodies fingers to dig deeper into you. You choked on the drool flooding your mouth, eyes rolling as your body was assaulted with pleasure. Your fingers had never gotten this deep and it wasn’t long before your overstimulated cock was back standing at attention, Masky’s thigh wedged between your legs. Your cock scrapped against his rough jeans, leaving your breath stuttered as the scratchy material ran against your balls and thighs. Hoodie slipped another finger into you, barley wasting a breath before roughly fucking you with them. Your thighs squeezed around Masky’s, high pitched keens leaving you as Hoodie fucked into you hard enough with his fingers to push you harder against Masky’s thigh.
“Fuck the slut already.” Masky growled out, Hoodie chuckled as he pulled his fingers out roughly. The squeal that left you went straight to both of their cocks, surprised either of them had managed to hold off for so long.
Their patience had worn thin though and Hoodie wasted no time in burying his cock into you. You voice caught in your throat resulting in you choking, shaking on Masky’s chest as Hoodie bottomed out. He felt impossibly large, his cock stretching more then you every thought could be done. Masky pressed his lips against yours, tongue easily sliding into your dropped mouth. He wasted no time in lapping his tongue around your mouth, the taste of you driving him insane as he swallowed every whimper Hoodie fucked out of you.
“He can’t take both of us, look at him with just my cock. Bet you like it though, right slut?” Hoodie grunted the most depraved things into your ear, arms wrapped around your waist. You could feel your drool soaking into Masky’s shirt. “Such a good little slut, letting me fuck your tight little pussy.” You tried to protest, Hoodies words embarrassing you yet twisting something deep inside.
Hoodie didn’t think he’d last longer with your ass clenched tight around his cock, every time he pulled out your body resisted, trying to pull him back in and it drove him insane. He railed into you hard, insistent on emptying hiss balls deep into your stomach. It almost felt painful, his cock brushed right against your prostate. Every drag of his cock had you crying out, arching your back.
You came again, broken sobs flying from your lips as your body turned to jello. Hoodie couldn’t take how tight you got around him, his own eyes rolling back as he shot his load straight into your stomach. You could feel it flowing into you, his cum causing your belly to bulge further. All you could do was sob as you looked at your swollen stomach, your cock twitching with pain after being dragged through multiple orgasms.
You barley had time to recover before Masky pulled you into his arms, making you wrap your legs around his waist. “You should be able to take me now.” His words left you shaking, you could barley take what you had already been given. Masky moaned when he heard your high pitched please’s to stop. “Thats it baby boy, beg nice n good for me.” You felt trapped, anytime you tried to stop him it just seemed to invigorate him.
Masky seemed even rougher then Hoodie, slamming deep into you and bouncing you on his cock. Your loud wails and moans bounced back to you, leaving you certain anyone in a hundred mile radius would hear you moaning with overstimulation. Masky grunted loudly in your ear, biting down onto your neck and drawing blood as he roughly bounced you on his cock.
Hoodie pulled his camera back out, taking pictures of Masky railing into you like a ragdoll. His muscles bulged as he bounced you restlessly on his cock. You wondered if it’d ever be over. Masky’s large hands grasped your ass, bunching your skirt up at your waist. Hoodie got some nice pictures of his dear friends cock sliding deep into your hole, your panties pulled to the side to accommodate Masky’s cock.
Your arms were wrapped around Masky’s shoulders, sobbing into the crevice of his neck as he abused your hole. Masky fucked Hoodies cum out of you, it dripped in globs from your puffy hole. Hoodie moved closer, taking pictures and using two fingers to spread you open causing more of his cum to come dripping out.
Masky suddenly slammed deep into you, his cum flowing through you. You almost felt like you were going to be sick as you felt Masky blow his load into you.
You felt practically no shame in openly crying when Masky dropped you to the floor. He used his foot to shove you onto your stomach, using his boot to press into the flesh of your ass and spread your ass cheeks. He groaned at the sight of your abused hole, dripping blood and cum. He could hear Hoodie snapping up pictures, Masky grinned as he pulled out his knife and sliced through the rope. You couldn’t help the moan that left when you were finally freed, blood quickly rushing back to your hands. “Get up.” Masky had no patience, instead grabbing you up. “Spread yourself for the camera.” You tried to plead only to end up with a harsh smack to your ass. You whimpered and quickly turned around. “Wait.” Masky mumbled, pulling your panties down to rest under your ass. He pushed to fingers into you and you sobbed loudly, the sound of Hoodie’s camera going off being blocked from your mind.

♡ ! an apology bouquet with forrest lee
note : on god i don't know how to write him he might not even be forrest anymore
the cold atmosphere made your nose sting along with the red rim around your eyes. the few tears you had previously shed from being stood up by forrest only reminding you now that tonight was – it was suppose to be you and him. but now it was just you. walking home after running errands with bags piled in your hands.
you trudged up the stairs of your building, the dim lights and the quietness all too familiar to you. your footsteps echoed in the stairwell along with your soft hummin. your key was carefully lodged between your fingers as you huffed at the end of your climb. but you were more confused than tired after the climb.
" ... forrest ? " there sat infront of your door, forrest with a bouquet in his hands and bandages on his face. you stood near the stairs conflicted on how to feel as he slowly stood up to his full height. he approached you and took all your bags, handing the flowers to you after your arms were empty.
" what's all this about ? " you asked as you held the door open for him, welcoming him into your home. he walked straight to the dining table and kept all the bags on the table just how you liked and faced you. " i missed our date " he looked upset with himself but you didn't have the heart to be mad at him, and he was always so sweet to you, you knew he wouldn't ditch you if it was upto him.
" it's alright, i was able to do a lot of errands tonight anyway, so a bunch of my work has been done ! " your smile was sweet as you closed the distance between the both of you and rested your hand on his chest, but he only frowned at you. his hand came to rest on cheek as you melted into his warmth. " but you were crying .. i'm sorry " he sighed, your smile now showed obvious embarrassment at him realizing you had cried.
" you can help me put all this stuff away and we can eat dinner together " you offered a sheepish smile, " it's still a date then isn't it ? " his frown lightened up as you ran your fingers through his hair. his response was quiet " you're too nice y'know " you laughed, moving away and opening the bags " so you won't help ? " you teased as he trudged over and took the things put of your hands. " i didn't say that .. " he mumbled as he came behind you, draping himself over you as you placed the apology bouquet he gave you in a vase with the other flowers he had given you just days ago.
" does that mean you forgive me ? " his voice muffled against your neck. " how could i not forgive you when you sat infront of my door like that " you frowned, turning to face him. " you looked so sad .. " he chuckled at your reaction. " if it makes you forgive me i don't mind "

Echoes of our Past | January 13th 1923
Librarian Richard Forrest takes a look at news highlights published in The Echo 100 years ago this week.
Cork Dockers Meet
The Cork dockers, coal carmen and storemen’s sections of the I.T.G.W.U. (Irish Transport and General Workers Union) met last night at Connolly Hall. The proceedings were protracted and concerned the proposed reduction of one shilling per day for time workers and a pro rata reduction for tonnage workers. It was agreed that a ballot on the issue be taken today. The ballot will close at 7 o’clock this evening and the result is expected to be announced at 9 tonight.
City Robberies Continue
Alarming robberies continue in the city. Buckley’s bedding manufactory on Lavitt’s Quay was entered by armed intruders as the workmen were being paid. Mr. Buckley strongly protested to no avail. Fortunately, some of the men had already received their pay and left. A somewhat mysterious robbery occurred at the G.P.O. last night. The postal side was locked up as usual at about 11 o’clock and everything reported to be in order. But when staff arrived this morning it was found that the safe had been broken into and bundles of £1 and 10 shilling notes amounting to £300 removed. A large amount of silver was left untouched.
Cork Quarter Sessions
Before the Honourable the Recorder of Cork K.C. Cornelius O’Sullivan, 1 Coburg Street, sought to recover the upper part of his house from James O’Sullivan, 1 Coburg Street. The evidence was that both had been tenants at the address to a Mrs. Vaughan. There was some controversy over a cellar which both claimed as part of their letting. Cornelius had since bought the entire premises and sought full possession to accommodate his family. Judgement was reserved.
President’s Residence Burned
Dublin was alarmed this morning by the news that President Cosgrave’s country residence at Rathfarnham has been destroyed by fire. Fortunately, no member of the Cosgrave family was at the residence at the time. For four hours the fire brigade battled with the flames and saved the servants section, the outhouses and much of the furniture. It seems that Republicans effected an entrance into the fine old Georgian mansion in the early hours and sprinkled petrol before initiating the conflagration. They detained a witness passer-by until the fire had gotten a firm hold. A caretaker occupying the lodge sixty yards away knew nothing about the outrage until awakened by the noise of falling masonry.
Sale of Arms
Washington – It is officially announced at the White House that no arms may be sold to any nation or any individual during President Harding’s administration.
Lunatic Asylum for Road Hogs
New York – The possibility of being sent to a lunatic asylum may have the effect of deterring “road hogs” pursuing their dangerous driving. This is the opinion expressed by Judge Charles L. Bartlett of Detroit who recently set a precedent by taking drivers guilty of excessive speed to the morgue to view the bodies of motor accidents. The Judge’s plan is to remand those found guilty for a mental test to be conducted by court appointed psychiatrist.
Viewing Venus
With the sun not rising till after 8 o’clock just now it is worthwhile rising a little earlier to see the planet Venus in all its glory. Epochs of maximum brightness are fairly frequent for Venus. They happen shortly before it reaches inferior conjunction when it dominates the eastern heavens as a morning “star”. Their greatest brilliance occur when the planet and the Earth are both almost at their nearest to the sun. These conditions obtain just now, the Earth making its nearest approach last Wednesday and Venus this Saturday.
Munster vs. Leinster
Munster and Leinster played at the Mardyke this afternoon. Leinster were unchanged but Popham declared off from Munster and was replaced by O’Neill. Munster’s players were selected from Dolphin (6), Constitution (5) and U.C.C. (3). Leinster’s from Trinity College (6), Landsdowne (4), Bective (2), Wanderers (2) and Monkstown (1). Play commenced in good style with Favier making a clever dash to Leinster’s 25 before being pulled down. Cussen cleared. Midfield play followed for some time and Munster were awarded a free for offside but Daly’s kick fell short. The Leinster forwards made a few bursts. A heeled free by Murphy-O’Connor restored play to midfield. A fine passing movement by Leinster was the next feature ending in Cussen scoring. Crichton failed to add the extra points. Splendid footwork from the Munster forwards, Bradley and Sullivan, followed and ended between the posts. O’Connell failed to convert, dashing the ball against the upright. After 20 minutes the score was level at three points each. Leinster pressed hotly for some time and Munster were penalised. A magnificent Munster movement was witnessed when Murphy-O’Connor gained possession, cut through beautifully and sent out to Favier when tackled by Davies. Favier was then pulled down but let the ball loose. Wellwood saved Munster from touch and Sullivan led the forwards to the line, scoring himself from far out. Daly failed to convert. Munster 3 tries (9 points); Leinster 1 goal 1 try (8 points).
1921 All-Ireland Final
A special meeting of the G.A.A. Central Council has fixed the 1921 All-Ireland hurling final between Limerick and Dublin for March 4th at Croke Park. Mr. Walsh, Waterford, to referee. The Council also decided to inaugurate a May 21st carnival in aid of funds.
Ode to the Coal Quay
Were I sublime than the Grecian Rhymer,
Than Philostratus or bold Bonaparte,
Could I when lyrical like Moore, that miracle,
Endow my dialect with tuneful art,
I’d pen a ditty of this fine fair city,
So wise and witty t’would beget renown:
And like thrush or curlew I’d extol that purlieu –
The Coal Quay Market of my native town.
(First of ten verses by W.B. Guinee, one time Cork journalist who moved to London)

I'm suffering from writers block, so I decided this was a better time than ever to use a saved prompt in the draft section to try and free me.
Coughing, the blonde clutches his side, leaning forwards to spit out whatever comes up. He had been hidden in the forrest, back resting against the same tree for the past, hour? He wasn't sure, but the sun was starting to set, which instilled a large panic residing within him.
Grunting, he pulls his hand away from his side, suddenly wishing he hadn't when he sees just how stained with blood it was. A newfound sickness rolls through him upon discovery of just how much he had lost.
Quietly, he's frustrated with himself. Why hadn't he brought his communicator along? He had left it back at the docks, thinking it would be what the elders called a "quick run." What had happened was that a small group of soldiers would leave the village they were stationed at for communications, food, the sorts.
Of course, living in a war zone, they would have to be careful, but it wasn't often that something would arise and send things askew. That led to now, a blonde sat bleeding out, bullet likely still lodged into his side. They had been jumped.
Attempting to stand, he uses the tree as a brace, moving to lean his uninjured sides shoulder against it. Huffing, he pushes himself off and almost instantly regrets it, stumbling while swaying and growing lightheaded instantly.
Through the fog that was his mind, the sudden recollection that night was coming spurred him on. He stumbles the way he thinks he initially came from. Adrenaline had already crashed long ago.
Eventually, he doesn't know when he hears shouts or cries from a near distance. Subconsciously, he knows that voice, so he can't help but wonder towards it. The swaying had nearly worsened as a headache settled within his temples, clawing all the way back and through his skull.
The crunching of leaves, the snap of a stick, a stuttered cry, and a hold.
Wait, he was being held?
The blonde just relaxes into the embrace, finally giving way and closing his eyes. A new, different yet welcoming kind of warmth filled him, even as he hears the familiar voice tell him almost panickedly to stay awake, instantly calling for help.
Had something bad happened? He only bled a bit.
The headache slowly lightened, complete darkness consuming him without a peep of light.
Was it night already? Okay, he can sleep for a bit, his brother always told him sleep was important anyway.
Just a little bit wouldn't hurt.
Yet, just like that, he gasps awake, newfound fear from a dream he can't quite remember grasping him. Trying to sit up, pain floods his body, and he finds it isn't worth it. He lays, sweaty and stripped down to messy and ugly brown shorts, white socks, and a gross tank top with tares and blood stains in it.
Looking around the room, he knows instinctively where he is just by the sheer number of beds. There were tables with wooden bowls, herbs, potions, and tools in them.
He gags slightly and moves his aching arm up to cover his mouth. Nausea settled in as a headache with vengeance attacks him. Somewhere to the side, he hears a door open yet not close, two different pairs of footsteps walking in.
"Tommy!" And the familiar voice near sprints (he jogs, knowing infirmary rules), to the bedside and is in an instant on his knees beside the blanket less beded boy. "What were you thinking?! Doing that! You didn't even warn me you were going on a petrol." The voice scolds, worry slipping through the firm tone.
"Mate, calm down. The boy just woke, he needs a chance to register everything. Let me give him his herbs." The by far to familiar herbalist nurse speaks, grabbing something from a nearby basket and a cup with already brewed bland tea from nearby. Sprinkling something into it, he slowly moves closer and motions to the brunette beside the blonde.
Tommy, the blonde, slowly sits up with the help. His hand is moved to hold onto the cup, shaking ever so slightly. Patiently, both stay quiet and let the boy sip on the tea. The elder in green robes took the empty cup after it was fully consumed.
"It will work, give it but a moment." He instructs before motioning to the brunette. "You may continue." He says, a hint of a smile on his face has Tommy groans, laying back down on the uncomfortable cot of a bed.
"You should have said something, first, Tommy." He scolds as the nurse moves to situate things in his own area, letting the two have a serious talk.
After some time, it goes from talking to light banter about other things. From how the Tubbo boy had proclaimed his (platonic) love for another kid named Ranboo, both of the two from different sections, to how trash every bed in the district's village was.
"It was horrible, Will! It was like a war, we were jumped and everything!" Tommy complains after his brother, Wilbur, made a snide comment about the fighting side.
The elder, Phil, pauses movement. He had been reorganizing herbs that weren't where they were meant to be. He sets them down gently, not wanting to cause damage to them.
"War?" He asks, turning to look at the two as a dark, unsettling look falls upon him. A discomfort ran throughout the infirmary. "You do not yet know war. You are a child who has tasted their first autumn frost and called it winter." He snaps at the boy, watching as silence bestows upon all three.
"Do not, speak of things you know not about." He turns just momentarily towards the herbs, ignoring the discomforting silence followed with their confused appearances. "I will be in the study if you need me." He settles with, moving hastily to leave, not wanting to stand there much longer with the unbearing feeling.
"What did he mean?" Tommy asks soon as the door is near forcibly slammed shut, his brother wincing at it.
"I'm not, entirely sure. But rumors have it, he's old as time. Why he speaks all funky." Wilbur tries to lighten the atmosphere, Tommy instantly following along.
Both ignoring the discomfort that lingers even with the familiar conversation and banter.
In the study, Phil sits, familiar bucket hat stored away in a case not to be worn. Sword decorated with another language few could decipher placed sideways in a case below it. Both along the left wall, his desk sat in the center of the room, papers all along it. A singular large window along the furthest wall.
He sighs, standing in front of the windows. Waiting, like he does any other day. Pondering, like any other day.
But this time, not about who's to be treated or where something was.
This time, it was about a man he'd been waiting to hear from for a long, long time now.
And yet, like clockwork, he turns his attention to a familiar "tap, tap, tap," against that very window.
It's time.
He opens the window and wastes no time in grabbing the bucket hat, deciding to let the sword rest for just a bit longer.
But now, at least, if he is to be dragged into yet another war, at least the opposing side will know who he's fighting for.
And it wasn't the one he stood with.
"War? You do not yet know war. You are a child who has tasted their first autumn frost and called it winter."

Forrest Gump Point: A Must-Visit Spot for Movie Lovers and Adventurers
Tucked away on the iconic U.S. Route 163 in the vast, mesmerizing landscapes of Monument Valley, Forrest Gump Point has become a beloved destination for both movie enthusiasts and travelers alike. This seemingly ordinary stretch of road is famous for a pivotal scene in the 1994 film Forrest Gump, where the title character, played by Tom Hanks, abruptly stops his cross-country run after three years. The stunning backdrop of towering sandstone buttes and the infinite desert horizon has since made it a popular stop for tourists. Let’s take a closer look at why Forrest Gump Point is such a special place.
The Magic of Monument Valley
Monument Valley, which straddles the border between Arizona and Utah, is a region rich in history and cultural significance. For centuries, it has been home to the Navajo Nation, and its towering rock formations have been a source of inspiration for countless films, including western classics and, of course, Forrest Gump. The Valley’s breathtaking scenery, with its red sandstone buttes, expansive desert plains, and ever-changing light, creates a dramatic backdrop for travelers.
Forrest Gump Point is located about 13 miles north of the small town of Mexican Hat, Utah, along Highway 163. The exact location is easy to spot, as there are usually people pulled over on the side of the road taking photos of the scene. The view from this point is a stunning, unbroken panorama of Monument Valley’s buttes that seem to stretch endlessly into the distance.
A Movie-Lovers Pilgrimage
The film’s impact on pop culture has turned this unassuming stretch of road into a pilgrimage site for movie lovers. Many visitors recreate the iconic scene by running down the road, posing in mid-stride for photos, and sharing their moments on social media. It’s a spot where cinema meets reality, and visitors can experience a moment of Hollywood magic in the middle of the American desert.

Tips for Visiting Forrest Gump Point
While Forrest Gump Point is an unforgettable experience, it’s essential to plan your visit carefully:
Timing is Everything: The best times to visit are early morning or late afternoon when the light is softer, and the colors of the landscape are most vibrant. Midday can be harsh with the desert sun, making it difficult to capture the beauty of the area in photos.
Be Safe: Highway 163 is an active road, and although traffic is generally light, always be mindful of passing vehicles. There’s no official parking lot, so most visitors simply pull off to the side of the road. Be cautious when crossing or standing on the highway for photos.

BORUM UPON BORGENDEN
borum spans the uphill eastern base of wraith's peake mountain where lush evergreen woods meet empty plains for some three leagues squared. as one of the northernmost parts of the kingdom, it edges its border with neighbouring, hostile lands. the terrain is uneven, often rocky, with extreme difference in elevation and thin, moist soil. wet season is all year round in these parts, water-logging the low-lying parts of the land for months on end and fog-binding everything above. it's also, as of recent, become a barony.
as part of county borgenden - so named after its historic fortress and the first building more than ten paces tall erected on those rocky plains - borum is of a similar military origin. upheaval near the northern border long ago prompted need for a gathering of armed forces and want for lodging and protection soon dotted the land in strongholds and watchtowers. a scarcely populated region, when under attack borgenden nevertheless saw scores of its humble peoples - farmers, sheepherds, fishermen and such - flock to the forts in fear and kindle the rudiment of villages and towns around them. borum narrowly escaped that fate. at once dangerously close to the border and far too troublesome of weather and terrain to foster community - or permit the building of comfortable roads - it instead fostered battle. its pulpy plains and dangerous inclines were setting for many forward marches, clever ambushes, joyous victories, but looksouts rotted in the rains and watchermen disappeared into the fog too often, so the army fell back, content to leave the land unconquered.
few locals remained, knowledgeable of borum's secrets and nimble enough to traverse its ridges.
it's a wonder, hence, why baroness tulia chose this trecherous, terrible place in particular to declare herself paramount to. at no shortage of audacity or brazenness - nor choice for fertile, good land - she nevertheless took up residence in borum and for her keep she picked a wet-stoned, bell-towered outpost nestled close to the forest, once home to soldiers, then to passing shepherds. fashioning the house into a suitable residence for a baroness would take time and effort, oft thwarted by hills, stones, ridges, over which carts could not pass and even horses were hard-pressed to cross heavily loaded. even visitors - as one would expect a lordship seat to host many - would have trouble reaching the keep. so it had always been, for ages past. as so-called 'grazing land' borum best entertained goats and sheep and their quick-footed shepherds, well-learned in the landscape.
as if the perils of elevation, moisture and rocks aren't enough, it's said that borum also infamously plays host to the worst fog of the year. though no stranger to 'borgenden mire' during the wetter parts of autumn, borumites uniquely prepare months in advance to suffer impassable blankets of fog, even in the lowlands. throughout most of fall and winter it rolls down wraith's peake and clots atop the marshes, at its worst allowing but a pace's view from one's nose. it's hazardous conditions for all locals indeed, and yet.. not good enough reason to stay at home. a hardy people, borumites - what few hardheaded residents remain - built stone paths and hung ropes and bells from their homes to make passage possible, and, failing that, used dogs, mules and sheep to lead their way.
precautions notwithstanding, fog season in still, muted borum sees an unsurprising many incidents. unfortunate tumbles, lost herds, disappearances. the uphill inclines are most perilous, already thickly forrested and confusingly uniform enough for one to lose their path in even when visibility is high. trodden paths disappear in the fog, however, and whatever trees lumberers or shepherds marked for navigation blend in with the rest. in the end, it is noise that proves most useful in wayfinding and the borum belltower, long ago used to signal invasion, now only rings to lead the lost home.

Lived near here, just to the North in Sheridan Wyoming, during my Horseman days. You can see the Bighorn Mountains in the Northern background.. This lake sits at the western edge of the American Grass Lands. I preferred it for Night Fishing, but did water ski it. If you like a Big Sky that you can actually see the depth of the star field at night. This is the place to visit if you're in the area. You can stay in the smallish city of Buffalo, no shortage of Tourist amenities. Shops and lodging since I've never seen a crowd at the lake or Buffalo, the South Entrance to the Bighorn National Forrest/Wilderness area. Well, there can be a crowd during Rodeo Days. But, it's a fun crowd.

ーーーーーーーーーー
01. Feather of peace
In the opening scene, a white bird's feather swings down from the sky.
Slowly and slowly.
We don't know where it will fall.
In response to the resistance of the wind and air, it moves freely to the right, to the left, and then rises again.
That single feather sways happily as it rests on chance.
A very gentle piano is played along with the rhythm of the beautiful swirling of a feather.
The background changes all the time, and we feel like we're being invited into a mysterious world.
"Come here. I'll show you something interesting. This is what a human being is, look."
That's what the feather seems to be saying.
At one point, the feather almost rests on the shoulder of a passerby, but then it rides the wind again and moves, caressing the front of the car.
The feather then lodged itself in one man's worn-out Nike sneakers.
Like it resonated with this man somehow.
A bus stop surrounded by a Forest that is calm and soothing.
A place where people gather, part ways, and reunite.
It is a place where joy, anger, sadness, and happiness are born naturally.
It's like a microcosm of life.
The man picked up the beautiful feather and tucked it into his favorite picture book.
A female nurse came next to the bench where the man was sitting.
The nurse starts reading a magazine.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest:
"Hello. My name's Forrest. Forrest Gump."
"Do you want a chocolate?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest hands the nurse a box of chocolates.
The nurse shook her head.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest:
"I could eat about a million and a half of these."
"My mama always said life was like a box of chocolates."
"You never know what you're going to get."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest said pointing to the nurse's shoes.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest:
"Those must be comfortable shoes."
"I bet you could walk all day in shoes like that and not feel a thing."
"I wish I had shoes like that."
Nurse: "My feet hurt."
Forrest:
"Mama always said you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes.''
"Where they're going,where they've been."
"I also wore many shoes."
"I've worn lots of shoes."
"I bet if I think about it real hard, I could remember my first pair of shoes."
"Mama said they'd take me anywhere."
ーーーーーーーーーー
02. Leg brace
With that, Forrest closes his eyes and travels back to Forrest's childhood.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest narration: "She said they was my magic shoes."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest was born with a crooked spine that prevented him from walking straight.
So doctors placed leg braces on Forrest's legs.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Doctor:
"All right, Forrest, open your eyes now."
"Let's take a little walk around."
"How do those feel?"
"His legs are strong, Mrs Gump, as strong as I've ever seen."
"But his back's as crocked as a politician."
"But we'll straighten him right up, aren't we"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest stumbled and suddenly fell down.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother: "Forrest?"
Forrest's narration:
"When I was a baby, Mama named me after the great Civil War hero General Nathan Bedford Forrest."
"She said we was related to him in some way."
"What he did was he started up this club called the Ku Klux Klan."
"They'd all dress up in their robes and their bed sheets and act like a bunch of ghosts or spooks or something."
"They'd even put bed sheets on their horses and ride around."
"And anyway, that's how I got my name, Forrest Gump.''
"Mama said the Forrest part was to remind me that sometimes we all do things that, well, just don't make no sense."
ーーーーーーーーーー
While crossing the road with his mother, Forrest's leg brace got caught on a metal fence and he became stuck.
The people around him strangely pay attention to Forrest.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother:
"This way. Hold on. All right."
"What are y'all staring at?"
"Haven't you ever seen a little boy with braces on his legs before?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
My mother warns onlookers menacingly.
She once again warns Forrest.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother:
"Don't ever let anybody tell you they're better than you, Forrest."
"If God wanted everybody to be the same he'd have given us all brace on our legs."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Her mother ran an inn, so she met a lot of people and was good at observing people.
And she is a 'person of love'.
Forrest's source of good fortune comes from his mother's love.
03. Unconditional love
As the story progresses, I think everyone will come to understand the importance of Forrest's mother's role.
She is a mother who embodies the 'unconditional love' and 'free love' of mothers in this world.
She is a loving person who accepts Forrest's existence, even though he has physical disabilities and low intelligence.
On the contrary, there are many parents in the world who give 'conditional love'.
Compare themselves to other children and blame them for what they can't do.
Social norms are strictly applied without respecting the will of the person.
These are the parents who say, "If you can't do this, I won't like you.''
Children try to get closer to their parents' ideals in order to get their parents to love them, but they are unable to catch up.
Eventually, they become adults who hate themselves and deny themselves because they are different from their ideal self.
They see everyone around them as competition and even enemies.
Because of their inferiority complex, they continue to make fruitless efforts, and people become distant and lonely.
'Unconditional love' gives children a sense of security, confidence, self-affirmation, unwavering will, and a chain of happiness that invites them to self-actualization.
This "unconditional love'' from childhood will make a person's life happier than billions of dollars.
04. Borderline intelligence
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's narration:
"Mama always had a way of explaining things so I could understand them."
"We lived about a quarter mile off Route 17 about a half mile from the town of Greenbow, Alabama."
"800 meters walk from the town of Greenbow, Alabama"
"That's in the county of Greenbow."
"Our house had been in Mama's family since her grandpa's grandpa's grandpa had come across the ocean about a thousand years ago.''
"Since it was just me and Mama and we had all these empty rooms, Mama decided to let those rooms out, mostly to people passing through like from Mobile, Montgomery, places like that."
"That’s how me and Mama got money."
"Mama was a real smart lady."
Forrest's mother:
"Remember what I told you, Forrest."
"You're no different than anybody else is."
"Did you hear what I said, Forrest?"
"You're the same as everybody else."
"You are no different."
Elementary school principal:
"Your boy's different, Mrs Gump."
"His I.Q. is 75."
Forrest's mother:
"Well, we're all different, Mr Hancock."
Forrest's narration: "She wanted me to have the finest education, so she took me to the Greenbow County Central School."
"I met the principal and all."
Elementary school principal: "I want to show you something, Mrs Gump."
"Now, this is normal Forrest is right here."
"The state requires a minimum I.Q.of 80 to attend public school."
"He's going to have to go to a special school."
"He'll be just fine."
Forrest's mother:
"What does normal mean anyway?"
"He's not going to some special school to learn how to retread tires."
"We're talking about five little points here."
"There must be something can be done."
Elementary school principal:
"We’re a progressive school system."
"We don't want to see anybody left behind."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The principal's face takes on a sinister look.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Elementary school principal: "Then, is there a Mr Gump, Mrs Gump?"
Forrest's mother: "He's on vacation."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It's borderline intelligence.
ーーーーーーーーーー
The principal allows Forrest to enroll because of his relationship with his mother.
This is the scene where the principal and his mother do the 'act' while Forrest waits outside his house at night.
There's nothing classy about the principal's moaning voice.
In American movies, these kinds of 'misrepresentations' are often punished.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Elementary school principal:
"Ee, ee, ee, ee."
"Act'' Later, the sweaty principal comes out of the house.
ーーーーーーーーーー
He said to Forrest.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Elementary school principal:
"Your mama sure does care about your schooling, son."
"You don't say much, do you?"
Forrest: "Ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The principal left in a hurry.
It's a very cynical and humorous scene.
In typical director Robert Zemeckis' style, he does not show any strange sympathy for the weak, but expresses them with plenty of humor.
I think this is a humorous expression that can only be achieved because there is love for the weak.
I think it's a forgivable malice.
Scenes like this will appear frequently from now on, but I would like you to believe that he's not making fun of them.
He sees people as equals.
The same goes for black people.
Many black people are involved in Forrest's life.
I think humor comes from people living desperately, sometimes focusing too much on one point, and showing weakness.
People are lovely and endearing beings, aren't they?
Forrest's mother is reading to him.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest: "Mama, what's vacation mean?"
Forrest's mother: "Vacation?"
Forrest: "Where Daddy went"
Forrest's mother: "Vacation's when you go somewhere...and you don't ever come back."
Forrest's narration:
"Anyway, I guess you could say me and Mama was on our own."
"But we didn't mind. Our house was never empty.''
"There was always folks coming and going."
ーーーーーーーーーー
05. Elvis Presley
This is a landscape scene of an inn.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother: "Supper! It's supper, everyone! !"
Forrest's narration:
"That sure looks special."
"Sometimes, we had so many people staying with us that every room was filled, with travelers, you know, folks living out of their suitcases and hat cases and sample cases."
"One time, a young man was staying with us, and he had a guitar case.''
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's narration, which has some misunderstandings, stubbornness, attachments, and doubts, is interesting.
We're impressed by the spirit of entertainment that entertains the audience even in places like this.
Forrest's mother opens the door in fear as she hears the sound of a guitar coming from the room.
That's a young Elvis Presley.
The song "Hound Dog'' by Elvis Presley is played here.
It's an interesting scene where Elvis' sexy hip-swinging style of singing was born from the movement of Forrest's leg brace.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother: "Forrest, I told you not to bother this nice young man."
Elvis Presley:
"No, that's all right, ma'am."
"I was showing him a thing or two on the guitar."
Forrest's mother: "All right. Supper's ready if y'all want to eat."
Elvis Presley:
"Yeah, that sounds good."
"Thank you, ma'am."
"Say, show me that crazy little walk you did there.Slow it down some."
Forrest's narration:
"I liked that guitar. It sounded good."
"I started moving around to the music, swinging my hips."
"This one night, me and Mama was out shopping, and we walked by Vincy's furniture and appliance store, and guess what?."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Elvis was on TV performing the song.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother: "This is not for children's eyes."
Forrest's narration:
"Some years later, that handsome young man who they called The King, well, he sung too many songs.''
"Had himself a heart attack or something."
"It must be hard being a king."
ーーーーーーーーーー
This Forrest's narration is set up as a conversation with people who come to the bus stop.
The nurse gradually becomes interested in Forrest's story and stops reading the magazine.
06. Beloved, Jenny
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's narration: "It's funny how you remember some things..."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Eventually, Forrest becomes an elementary school student and goes to school by bus for the first time.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's mother: "You do your very best now, Forrest."
Forrest: "I sure will, Mama."
Forrest's narration: "I remember the bus ride on the first day of school very well."
Bus driver: "Are you coming along?"
Forrest: "Mama said not to take rides from strangers."
Bus driver: "This is the bus to school."
Forrest: "I'm Forrest, Forrest Gump."
Bus driver: "I'm Dorothy Harris."
Forrest: "Well, now we ain't strangers anymore."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The bus driver greets Forrest with a smile.
The driver is a woman, but she seems funky with a cigarette in her mouth.
Forrest tries to take a seat, but no one will vacate his seat.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Boy A: "This seat's taken."
Boy B: "It's taken."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The girl shakes her head.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Boy C: "You can't sit here."
Forrest's narration:
"You know, it's funny what a young man recollects, 'cause I don't remember being born."
"I don't recall what I got for my first Christmas, and I don't know when I went on my first outdoor picnic but I do remember the first time I heard the sweetest voice in the wide world."
"But I remember when I heard the sweetest voice in the world."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest was not given a seat and stood on the bus for a while.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny: "You can sit here if you want."
Forrest narration:
"I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life."
"She was like an angel."
Jenny: "Well, are you going to sit down or aren't you?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest sits next to Jenny.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny: "What's wrong with your legs?"
Forrest: "Nothing at all, thank you. My legs are just fine and dandy."
Forrest's narration: "I just sat next to her on that bus and had a conversation all the way to school."
Forrest: "My back's crocked like a question mark..."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It's scoliosis.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest: "Next to Mama, no one ever talked to me or asked me questions."
Jenny: "Are you stupid or something?"
Forrest: "Mama says, 'Stupid is as stupid does.''
Jenny: "I'm Jenny."
Forrest: "I'm Forrest, Forrest Gump"
Forrest Narration:
"From that day on, we was always together."
"Jenny and me was like peas and carrots."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest grows up with a lot of love and encouragement from his mother.
He doesn't have a twisted personality at all.
He directly believes his mother's words.
Everyone gradually becomes aware of their own weaknesses.
But children who are loved and loved can bounce back.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's narration: "She taught me how to climb."
Jenny: "Come on, Forrest, you can do it."
Forrest's narration:
"I showed her how to dangle."
"She helped me learn how to read, and I showed her how to swing."
"Sometimes, we'd just sit out and wait for the stars."
Forrest: "Mama's going to worry about me."
Jenny: "Just stay a little longer ."
Forrest's narration: "For some reason, Jenny never wanted to go home."
Forrest: "OK, Jenny, I'll stay."
Forrest Narration:
"She was my most special friend."
"My only friend."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny is one of the main characters in this work.
Jenny's mother died early and she was sexually abused by her father while growing up.
Parents whose children ask for love but don't receive it in return.
Jenny has always been criticized and has lived her life feeling responsible.
As a result, she begins to live hating even herself.
She's not satisfied. She doesn't have confidence. Self-denial, feelings of worthlessness, and emptiness.
She grew up with all kinds of negative emotions.
Such people are constantly starving for love, seeking love from everything, and are forced to live as if they are wandering through reality.
She is the complete opposite of Forest.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest narration:
"My Mama always told me that miracles happen every day.'"
"Some people don't think so, but they do."
ーーーーーーーーーー
07.Awakening
It's childhood again.
Forrest is pelted with rocks by his classmates and runs away.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Classmate A: "Hey, dummy!"
Classmate B: "Are you retarded, or just plain stupid?"
Classmate C: "Look, I'm Forrest Gump."
Jenny:
"Just run away, Forrest."
"Run, Forrest! Run away! Hurry!"
Classmate A: "Get the bikes!"
Classmate B: "Let's get him! Come on!"
Classmate C: "Look out, dummy! We're going to get you!"
Jenny:
"Run, Forrest, run! Run Forrest!"
"Run, Forrest, run! Run Forrest!"
Classmate A: "Come back here, you!"
Jenny: "Run, Forrest, run!
ーーーーーーーーーー
A special echo effect is applied to Jenny's voice.
This is where the entertainment begins.
Forrest is chased on bicycles by classmates.
Forrest's leg braces came off like a 'Transformer', allowing Forrest to run at incredible speeds.
Forrest ran forever, emitting a cloud of sand just like in the anime.
Continue running across the meadow and over the bridge.
Along the way, about 30 men are cutting grass with sickles.
It's a scene I don't really understand, but the rhythm of the sickle's swing and Forrest's kicking pitch match perfectly in the idyllic countryside of the southern United States, and it makes us smile.
It's funny how the leg brace breaks down.
An old man says, looking a little confused as Forrest runs through town.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Grandpa: "That boy sure is a running fool."
ーーーーーーーーーー
This relaxing and laid-back atmosphere is peaceful and nice.
It's a very fun performance.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest Narration:
"You wouldn't believe it if I told you, but I can run like the wind blows."
"From that day on, if I was going somewhere, I was running."
ーーーーーーーーーー
We all loved running until we were in the lower grades of elementary school.
Before you know it, we'll start playing sports that use our brain, such as ball games, but it's fun to watch and run again.
It's a shame that running at sports events and other sports tests becomes a competition.
'Running' was something Forrest had never been able to do until now.
Forrest runs a lot, as if to relieve his patience.
His heart beats faster, he feels like he's floating, and the scenery changes rapidly. It's like the scenery comes to him.
08.Jenny's home environment
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest's narration:
"Remember how I told you that Jenny never seemed to want to go home?"
"She lived in a house that was as old as Alabama."
"Her mama had gone to heaven when she was five, and her daddy was some kind of a farmer."
"He was a very loving man."
"He was always kissing and touching her and her sisters.''
"And then this one time, Jenny wasn't on the bus to go to school."
Forrest: "Jenny, why didn't you come to school today?"
Jenny: "Daddy's taking a nap."
Jenny's father:
"Jenny!"
"Jenny! Where'd you run to?"
"You better get back here, girl!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny's father chases her through the cornfield, bottle in hand.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny:
"Pray with me, Forrest. Pray with me."
"Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far, far, far away from here."
"Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far, far, far away from here."
Forrest's narration:
"Mama always said God is mysterious.'"
"He didn't turn Jenny into a bird that day.''
"Instead, he had the police say Jenny didn't have to stay in that house no more."
"She was to live with her grandma, just over on Creekmore Avenue, which made me happy, 'cause she was so close."
"Some nights, Jenny'd sneak out and come on over to my house, just 'cause she said she was scared.''
"Scared of what, I don't know."
"But I think it was her grandma's dog."
"He was a mean dog."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Jenny was constantly being chased by the afterimage of her father and by Jenny herself, who denied herself, and never had a day to rest.
Without realizing it, Jenny probably found Forrest to be a very calming 'safe place'.
I think Forrest, who was raised in an environment of 'unconditional love', has that kind of peace.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Forrest narration: "Anyway, Jenny and me was best friends all the way up through high school."

Forrest Of Mendip 8019 Masonic Lodge, who meet in the Yatton Temple here in the Province of Somerset.
Last night I attended this awesome masonic lodge to see a first degree ceramony that was masterfully lead by my dear friend DP the WM, all his officers followed his example and set the bar high.
I was there wearing several hats representing Gordano Lodge 6024 and Wraxall Lodge 9011 as both I am a member of and both my WMs were there too, I was also there with a visiting team if The Adair Club with my good friend and chairman MN.
The ceremony was first class, the festive board jolly with great food and wine, the company exemplary, I was truly honoured and humbled to be amongst such great Men and Masons, you always have a wonderful night at The Forest of Mendip Masonic Lodge.
