Friends turned Rivals Lovers
The camera focuses on Lando, settled in the driver’s seat, before shifting to the seat behind him. Just beside the cameraman, Max F is seen scrolling through his phone.
“Max is pouty because he usually sits in the passenger seat,” Lando quips, drawing the camera’s attention back to him. A glimpse of his cheeky grin is visible from his side profile.
Reaching over the passenger seat, Lando rests a hand on her thigh. Max chuckles softly. “Bit more legroom up front.”
The scene cuts to Lando, now sat in a studio. From behind the camera, a voice cuts in. “You’ve been a hot topic this off-season. Any updates you want to share?”
Lando leans back in his chair, fixing his hair as he readies himself for the interview segment of Drive to Survive.
"What makes you say that?" A shy smile creeps onto his face just before the screen transitions to a montage of headlines and social media posts.
"Lando Norris seen kissing mystery girl in his Ferrari" "Lando Norris and mystery girl spotted driving around Monaco" "Mystery girl identified—longtime friend Y/N L/N" "Friends to Lovers? The true identity of McLaren driver Lando Norris'new girlfriend"
Lando nods with a smile. “Y/N and I have been friends for a long time. Finally found the guts to ask her to be mine.”
“Are you the romantic type?”
He chuckles, shrugging. “You’d have to ask her.”
The scene transitions to the paddock, where Lando walks hand-in-hand with Y/N, her bag slung over his arm. Max trails beside them, hands in his pockets. The trio makes their way into McLaren’s hospitality, settling at a free table tucked away in the corner, away from the crowd.
Y/N takes a sip of her smoothie before glancing at Lando. “Excited for today? First practice of the season.”
Lando looks up from his phone, nodding. “Yeah, feeling pretty good. Car felt good during testing—hope it translates well throughout the season.”
“Think he’s more nervous about the fact that you’ll be here watching,” Max teases, a smirk playing on his lips.
Y/N laughs softly. “I’ve been to races before, you know.”
“Yeah, but not as his girlfriend. Now he’s got to win for the team and to show off for you.”
“You dick,” Lando chuckles, grabbing a straw wrapper and tossing it at Max, who dodges it with a grin.
Lando glances at his watch, letting out a soft sigh before pushing his chair back. “Alright, I gotta go get ready.”
Max leans back in his chair, nodding. “We’ll be in the garage before you head out.”
Lando grabs Y/N’s bag from the table, slinging it over his shoulder. “Let’s go, baby.”
Y/N blinks up at him, confused. “Am I not staying with Max?”
Lando shrugs, a small smirk on his lips. “You could… but I want you with me while I get ready. Your choice.”
Y/N smiles and stands up, slipping her hand into Lando’s. Max groans dramatically. “I can’t believe it. I’ve been benched. I’ve lost my WAG status.”

Air Max
Lando holds up his phone, the camera capturing the view outside Max Verstappen’s private plane. His team had arranged with Drive to Survive to give Netflix a small peek into his life outside the paddock. Now, he’s tasked with filming parts of his day—something he’s getting used to but still isn’t entirely comfortable with.
The camera shifts, panning around the cabin before zooming in on Max and his girlfriend, who sit across from each other, faces buried in their phones.
“Look at these two… they’ve been like this since we took off,” Lando murmurs, walking closer while keeping the camera focused on them. He tilts the screen toward their hands, revealing the game they’re both locked into—a racing simulator. Neither of them spares him a glance.
“We asked you to join, mate,” Max chuckles without looking up.
Lando plops down beside Y/N, setting the camera down at an angle that captures all three of them. He starts poking her cheek, then her side, trying to get her attention.
“Lan. I swear, if I lose—”
“—Of course you will. You’re racing against Max.”
“She’s actually pretty good, you know,” Max chimes in, eyes still glued to his phone.
Before Lando can tease again, Y/N suddenly shrieks, making him flinch. She drops her phone onto the table, leaning back in her seat with a dramatic groan of defeat.
“What did I say, baby?” Lando laughs, nudging her shoulder.
But Y/N is already sitting back up, snatching her phone with urgency. “One more, Max. Come on, let’s go. This is the one—I can feel it.”
Lando groans, throwing his head back. “Y/N, baby, please. Let’s watch a movie, take a nap, something.”
“In a bit, Lan, I need to beat Max.”
Max smirks, finally looking up at Lando with a teasing glint in his eye. “Sorry, mate. I win.”
"We're flying commercial next time"

I'm just here for the coffee
The Drive to Survive camera crew catches up with Lando as he wraps up media duties alongside Oscar in McLaren hospitality. He’s distracted—eyes constantly scanning the room, phone in hand, thumb hovering over the screen as he checks it every few seconds. His expression shifts between mild frustration and confusion.
Just as he exhales sharply, about to shove his phone into his pocket, a familiar voice calls out.
"Lando!"
Max F calls out, relief on his face as he finally spots his friend sitting by the doors. Lando strides towards him, but before he can even greet them, Max speaks again.
"Oh, I thought Y/N would be with you. I've been trying to reach her for hours now."
Lando’s brows furrow, holding up his phone.
"I’ve been trying to call her too. I thought she was with you."
The realization hits him like a switch flipping. His expression drops into something between disbelief and sheer irritation. He exhales, shakes his head, and lets out a knowing scoff.
"I might know where she is."
Cue the most dramatic yet comedic smash cut imaginable.
Ferrari Hospitality – Where Y/N Has Been the Entire Time.
The camera immediately cuts to Y/N, relaxed and unbothered, seated at a table inside Ferrari hospitality. The atmosphere is lively, filled with laughter as they sip espresso, surrounded by Carlos, Charles, and their girlfriends. The Ferrari logo gleams proudly in the background, almost mocking.
Y/N leans forward, grinning at something Carlos just said, stirring their coffee absentmindedly. Charles adds a comment that earns another round of laughter. It’s the picture of comfort—warm, inviting, and clearly where Y/N has been all along.
Then, in the background, the doors swing open.
The camera follows Lando as he steps inside, expression unreadable—until the dramatic zoom-in captures the very moment.
"Unbelievable."
Lando’s voice cuts through the laughter, making the entire table turn their heads toward him. The easygoing chatter dies down as he strides over, hands on his hips, phone still clutched in one hand. His brows are furrowed—confused, mildly exasperated, and very much not amused.
"Baby, Max and I have been calling you."
Y/N blinks before reaching into their bag, finally checking their phone. The screen lights up with multiple missed calls. A sheepish smile tugs at their lips as they glance back up at Lando.
"Oops? Sorry, Lan. I had my ringer off."
Charles smirks, leaning back in his chair. "She’s been having a great time with us, mate."
Lando squints at him before turning back to Y/N. "How long have you been here?"
Before Y/N can even open their mouth, Carlos chimes in.
"Actually, quite late today. She came an hour later than usual."
Lando blinks. Processes. "Later than usual?" His gaze snaps back to Y/N, his confusion shifting into shock. "How often are you here?!"
Y/N, fully caught now, shrugs, setting their coffee down.
"I mean… almost every media day? You’re busy filming, and their coffee is really good here so I just—"
Lando groans, rubbing his face. "Oh baby…"
Before he can spiral further, Rebecca—clearly enjoying the moment—leans in with a grin. "Show Lando what Carlos and Charles gave you!"
Y/N shoots her a betrayed side-eye, but it’s too late. Lando’s eyes widen slightly as he looks between them. He nods at Y/N, expectantly.
Y/N sighs, reaching back into their bag. With hesitant hands, they pull out a very red Ferrari cap and place it on the table.
Silence.
Lando stares.
Alex, grinning, decides to throw more fuel into the fire. "You could’ve at least signed it for her."
"Oh shit—yeah." Charles grabs the cap, immediately patting down his pockets for a pen. He looks around helplessly before turning to Lando.
"Do you have a Sharpie?"
Lando blinks. His eye twitches.
"Do I—" He stops himself, inhales deeply, then exhales, running a hand down his face.
"Okay. We’re leaving. Come on."
Y/N barely has time to protest before Lando takes their hand and starts walking. "But— baby no my coffee..."
"I'll get you your own coffee machine"

A victory in full bloom
It’s the moment Lando’s been dreaming of his entire career: his first-ever Formula 1 race win. The podium ceremony is over, and he’s just wrapped up celebrating with his team, taking photos and soaking in the victory. The Netflix crew trails him closely, hoping to catch a quick statement from the new race winner. But Lando’s not focused on the cameras or interviews—his mind is set on finding someone. He’s been eager to celebrate with Y/N.
As he walks towards the trailers, his eyes scan the area until they land on her. There she is, standing by his trailer with a small bouquet of flowers in hand. Lando stops dead in his tracks, his breath catching in his chest for a moment. A wide smile spreads across his face as he takes in the sight of her, the bouquet a simple yet perfect gesture for this milestone moment.
Y/N looks up and meets his gaze, a soft smile tugging at her lips. It’s clear she’s been waiting for him. "Hey champ"
Lando’s eyes light up when he sees them, his smile growing even wider. He’s still buzzing from the excitement of the win, but this moment feels different—more personal.
Lando is grinning from ear to ear "What’s this? For me?"
Y/N shyly holds the bouquet out towards him, a soft smile on her face. "Yeah... It's not the best, but it's the only one I could get my hands on at such short notice."
Lando doesn’t hesitate for a second. He sets his trophy down on the ground, his attention entirely on the flowers in her hands. He takes the bouquet from her gently, inspecting it with a look of pure joy on his face. The smile never leaves as he admires the thoughtful gesture.
Y/N flinches slightly when she hears the clink of the trophy being set down. “Oh, Lan, don’t just leave it on the floor—”
Before she can even move to pick it up, Lando pulls her into a tight, elated hug, careful not to crush the flowers between them.
“These are beautiful, my love. Thank you,” he whispers against her ear, his voice full of affection. “God, I love you. You’re the best, you know that, right?”
Y/N, caught in the warmth of the moment, smiles softly, her heart racing. Lando’s arms around her feel like the perfect celebration of everything they’ve worked for together.
"I'm so proud of you, Lan, my race winner," Y/N says softly, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek.
Lando lets out a quiet laugh, glancing over her shoulder and catching sight of one of the camera crew members standing off to the side, clearly eager to capture the intimate moment. His smile widens, but then, with a mischievous glint in his eye, he pulls away from her and takes her hand firmly in his.
"Alright, you vultures," he calls out playfully to the crew, his tone teasing as he begins to walk away with Y/N in tow. "Go film someone else now."
Lando walks off, his stride confident and relaxed, one hand holding the bouquet Y/N gave him, the other wrapped around her hand. His focus is entirely on her as they move down the paddock together, the world around them momentarily fading away.
"Lando the trophy!"

Fan Favourite
The cameras follow Lando and Y/N as they stroll hand in hand through the paddock, stopping every few meters to greet excited fans. It’s a typical moment for them, with Lando taking his time to chat and take photos with the crowd, but today, there’s a certain energy in the air that the fans—especially the ones around them—seem to feed off of.
Y/N stands to the side, watching with a smile as Lando interacts with a group of young fans. One fan, in particular, catches his attention. She’s holding a small, handmade friendship bracelet, her hands slightly trembling with excitement.
Lando’s smile widens as he notices the bracelet. He looks at the fan and gestures toward it with a raised eyebrow, "That’s really pretty. Is that for me?"
The fan's eyes go wide, her mouth opening and closing as she tries to form words. Finally, she manages a shy reply, "Oh, uh... actually, it’s for Y/N. If you could give it to her, please?"
Lando lets out a lighthearted laugh, realizing his mistake, a blush creeping up his neck. He turns over his shoulder, calling out to Y/N with a playful tone, "Love, c’mere. They wanna say hi."
Y/N steps forward, smiling warmly as she walks towards them. But before she even gets close, a few of the girls in the group let out high-pitched squeals, and Lando, hearing the reaction, pauses mid-step. He turns around to face the group, his jaw dropping in mock surprise. “Right, calm down,” he teases, raising an eyebrow. "It's almost like you're more excited to meet her than me!"
The fans giggle, some blushing, while Y/N smiles with a soft laugh, taking the bracelet from the fan’s outstretched hand. Lando, now with a playful smirk, shakes his head, clearly enjoying the teasing moment.
Y/N immediately slips the bracelet onto her wrist, admiring it with a bright smile. “This is so pretty! Thank you so much, you guys are the sweetest.”
Before she can say anything else, another fan eagerly steps forward, holding out a small crocheted cat dressed in what looks suspiciously like Lando’s helmet.
“I got you this as well!” the fan beams.
Y/N gasps, carefully taking the little plushie into her hands. “Oh my gosh! Is this supposed to be Lando?” She turns it over, inspecting the tiny details, from the pattern of the helmet to the little number on its side. “This is adorable—you guys…” Her voice softens, and she clutches the cat close to her chest, looking at the group with a touched expression, lips forming a small pout.
Lando, standing off to the side, watches with a fond smile, his heart swelling as he sees how naturally she interacts with his fans. He doesn’t even realize how long he’s been staring until Y/N turns to him, stretching out her arm with her phone in hand.
“Lan, baby, take a photo of us, please?”
Lando blinks, snapping out of his daze. He lets out a chuckle before taking the phone from her hand. “Yeah, yeah—sorry, got a bit distracted there.”
After snapping a few more photos and sharing a couple more laughs, Y/N and Lando exchanged their final goodbyes with the fans before continuing their stroll toward the McLaren garage.
Y/N glanced down at the bracelet on her wrist, still admiring the thoughtful gift, while Lando walked beside her, hands in his pockets, a playful pout forming on his lips.
"Can't believe I gotta share my girlfriend with my fans now," he muttered dramatically, shaking his head.
Y/N let out a soft laugh, bumping her shoulder against his. "Oh, come on, don’t act like you don’t love it," she teased.
Lando sighed, pretending to be exasperated. "I mean, I was the main attraction. Now they’re out here squealing over you and giving you gifts." He shot her a look, but the corners of his lips twitched, betraying his amusement.
Y/N smirked, holding up the tiny crocheted cat. "Jealous?"
Lando scoffed, but his eyes flickered down to the plushie, and he hummed in fake thought. “Depends... do I get one in return?”
Y/N grinned. "Maybe if you win the race this weekend."
Lando groaned, tilting his head back. “So now I have to earn your love? This is outrageous.”
Y/N just giggled, slipping her hand into his, swinging it slightly as they walked. “You love the challenge, Norris.”
He sighed, squeezing her hand. “Yeah... yeah, I do.”
--------------------------------------------------------
P's new favourite
Lando’s relationship with Max Verstappen’s stepdaughter, Penelope, had always been a good one. Between race weekends and off-season meetups in Monaco, he saw her often, and they had their own little bond.
But ever since he started dating Y/N, it seemed like P had a new favorite.
Just before heading to the garage, Lando stood outside McLaren hospitality, casually chatting with his mom, a few friends, Kelly, and P—who, instead of paying attention to the conversation, was entirely focused on showing Lando her collection of stickers.
Lando’s smile softens as he looks down at the little girl, carefully pressing the sticker onto his fireproofs. “For me?” he asks, feigning surprise. “Thank you, P.”
“Bye, Lando!” P grins, bouncing on her heels before giving him a high five, which quickly turns into a hug.
Lando barely has time to wrap his arms around her before she suddenly gasps dramatically, pulling away as fast as she had latched onto him. Without a second thought, she bolts in the opposite direction.
“Y/N!”
The camera follows her path, cutting to Y/N just as she arrives. A wide smile spreads across her face as she kneels down, arms open and ready for impact.
P barrels straight into her, nearly knocking her over as she wraps her tiny arms around Y/N in a tight hug.
Y/N lets out a small laugh, steadying herself. “Hi, P! I love your hair—you look so pretty!”
P quickly pulls back, twirling proudly to show off her outfit. “Lando said he liked my hair too!” she exclaims.
Y/N gasps, playing along. “Well, if Lando said it, then it must be true.”
P giggles before Y/N takes her small hands in hers. “Alright, come on then, let’s go say goodbye to Lando.”
As they make their way back toward the group, Kelly watches them with a knowing smile. “She literally pulled away from Lando’s hug just to run to you,” she muses, shaking her head with amusement.
Lando lets out a dramatic sigh, crossing his arms. “Yeah, my family does the same thing when I bring her home with me.”
Cisca, who had been standing off to the side, bursts into laughter, nodding in agreement. “It’s true.”
“Hi, baby. I’m about to head off. I’ll see you after,” Lando murmurs, stepping in close to press a soft kiss to Y/N’s lips before pulling her into a tight hug.
Before Y/N can even melt into the embrace, a small but determined voice interrupts.
“Okay, bye now, Lando.”
P, eyes set with purpose, marches forward and starts pushing Lando away with her tiny hands.
Lando lets out a laugh, barely stumbling back before crossing his arms over his chest. “Excuse me? Am I not even allowed to kiss my girlfriend goodbye now?”
“She’s mine!” P announces proudly, wrapping her arms around Y/N in a possessive hug.
Y/N laughs, running a gentle hand over the little girl’s head. “Alright, missy, I think Lando gets the message loud and clear.” She glances at Lando with a teasing smile before blowing him a kiss. “I’ll see you later, my love. Good luck and be safe.”
Lando sneaks in a quick peck to her cheek before jogging off, grinning. “I’ll be back to take my girlfriend back, P! Watch over her for me!”

Hiii, I’m not sure if your requests are open, but if they are, could you write something with Lando and Reader where they have been dating for just a few weeks, haven’t had sex yet. One day they’re working out together at Lando’s house in Monaco (the room with the mirror from the video I Ate and Trained Like Lando Norris for 24 hours). Reader is doing squats with her back towards the mirror and Lando can’t help but stare at her ass and he gets hard / flustered so he stops from doing his exercise and reader asks him what’s wrong and before he answers she realises he’s horny so she teases him - this time on purpose- and then they fuck in that room on the floor

IT DOESN’T TAKE long before Lando starts to regret his decision. It would have been much easier to invite his girlfriend to have lunch together. That would have saved him from a constant dry mouth and irregular heartbeat every time he feels her eyes accidentally landing on him.
The smooth floor and sophisticated equipment in his personal gym are softly bathed in the morning sun that seeps through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Monaco’s streets are still peaceful at this hour, considering it’s the middle of the week, and the port is sparkling in the sunlight.
The room usually has a subtle scent of cedar and rubber, fresh and energized, but now it carries a sweet honey scent, borrowed from her presence.
They are already halfway through their warm-up. She’s pulling a resistance band around her thighs, stretching before they dive into the heavier part of their routine, her focus completely on the exercises he’s walked her through. But, of course, a huge part of her focuses on how Lando touches her, purposely, to guide her when her posture doesn’t match the exercise.
Even in simple gym shorts and a T-shirt, Lando somehow manages to look so effortlessly attractive, with his curly hair a little messy, face flushed just enough from their recent sets, and his labored breathing after putting in the effort. He’s all energy, fluid in his movements, though he’s clearly trying to keep his pace casual.
“Lookin’ strong,” he teases, flashing a grin as she adjusts her stance.
The girl shrugs, “I’m just that good at following instructions. Although, I think having one of the best trainers in the area helps, too.”
Lando lets a chuckle out, “I won’t go easy on you just because you kiss-ass. But it’s cute to see you trying.”
Even though they have only been dating for a few weeks, there is an undeniable spark between them two, especially in a setting where every glance and skin-to-skin contact feels amplified by the intensity of their exercises. Her sports outfit leaves no room for interpretations, hugging her curves and defining her lines, and Lando’s imagination is stimulated every time he turns his gaze towards her.
He’s now down on the floor, holding a plank, his core engaged and muscles taut as he fights to hold his body up and spine straight. She’s supposed to be timing him, but the second he shoots her a cheeky grin, she decides she can’t resist a bit of fun; in her defense, he started it. With a simple touch, the seconds freeze on the screen of his phone, then she places it on one of the boxes stored in the corner of the room.
“Hi there,” says the girl in a mellow tone once she sits down in front of him just inches apart, propping herself up on her elbows so her face is level with his.
Lando raises his eyebrows, trying not to laugh as his shoulders shake slightly from the effort of holding his body weight. “Don’t,” he warns her, breath coming in controlled puffs.
“I’m not doing anything,” she smiles innocently, kicking her feet in the air while inching a little closer until her nose almost brushes his.
He laughs at her bad acting, his arms starting to shake a bit more. “Outrageous is what you are.”
She pouts just as Lando dips his head down, managing to steal a playful kiss. Their lips meet briefly, soft and warm, before he pulls back up to maintain his form. It makes her sigh in frustration, the ghost of a kiss not nearly enough for her. If anything, it only leaves her wanting more.
Luckily, he doesn’t pull back when she cups his cheek in her palm, pressing her mouth on his once more, his giggles mixing with hers as he tries to keep his balance. Savoring the feel of his lips and the way Lando grunts softly into the kiss, she can feel that this one is more deeper and slower — much real — making her shiver. It seems as though everything else disappears, the feel of each other reminding them both why they decided to give the relationship a shot in the first place.
“And you are so fun to corrupt,” she admits, finally getting up to give Lando time to recover.
After a few sets, she finally moves on to squats, and Lando follows her positioning herself in front of the mirror. It wasn’t even supposed to be there, but he sometimes uses the gym as a storage room for random packages. This one, specifically, came in the mail a few weeks ago and he didn’t have time to hang it in the hallway, where he initially planned. So, he simply let it rest against the wall in his gym room, and it’s been there ever since, forgotten.
Giving the circumstances, he is seriously thinking of leaving it there for good.
Conveniently, Lando decides that now is the perfect time to start his Russian twists, so he bends over to collect a dumbbell off the floor, then sits down on the yoga mat. Right in front of her.
Unaware of the effect she’s having on him, he watches her go through each squat with his eyes trailing down on the reflection of her ass in the mirror, an intense warmth spreading over him as he tries to focus on his own exercise. It is quite innocent, he’s just respectfully looking, until it isn’t.
Until he feels it in his boxers.
Until he almost drops the dumbbell, which catches her attention.
Lando tries to ignore it, though, to nonchallantly brush it off, telling himself that it’s natural and that he’s just admiring her physical appearance. Anyone in his shoes would do it. However, his thoughts start to wander, images flashing uninvited as his heart rate quickens for reasons far beyond the exercise.
“Are you okay down there, hotshot? What are you fighting?” she asks curiously, raising her head just enough to catch the dazed look on Lando’s face.
Her voice pulls him back, his breath catching for a moment, “Yeah, never better.”
It’s his husky voice that gives it away. Right after, she notices a lingering gaze, and the soft pink creeping across his features as his eyes are fixed ahead. She stops, fixing her posture and straightening her back as she turns to catch his gaze in the mirror. She realizes exactly what’s going on in a matter of seconds, a little grin forming in the corner of her mouth.
“Am I too dictracting, Lando?” she purrs, her question — and the fact that he knows she caught him in act — not helping at all.
“No,” he lies, “But I think you’re killing it with those squats.”
“And if I turn around to finish my set, what then?” she whispers, a challenge glinting in her eyes as she brushes the tip of her tongue against her lower lip.
His breath is shallow the moment he decides to abandon his exercise. “Then you would be killing me,” he admits with no restraints. “So, by any means, proceed. Please.”
She glances over to see Lando lying flat on his back, one arm draped dramatically over his eyes, as if he’s in serious pain. His other hand is splayed over his stomach, fingers tapping a nervous rhythm. It’s still funny to see him like that, but then she notices the way his chest rises and falls a bit too fast, and her eyes drift lower, catching a glimpse of the growing bulge in his shorts, an unmistakable proof of what she’s actually doing to him.
Suddenly, all the amusement disappears from her face, being replaced by a warmth that wraps around her neck that’s slowly rising to her cheeks. Her heart is starting to race, small impulses between her thighs forcing her to close them together.
Swallowing hard, she crosses the small space to kneel beside him, gently pulling his arm away from his eyes. His lashes flicker open, meeting her gaze with a mix of embarrassment and desire. And so much lust.
“How can I help you?” asks Lando, his voice rougher than usual, trying to keep things light, though the hint of vulnerability shows in his eyes, and it’s not that hard to read.
She chuckles nervously, “The question is how can I help you?”
In response, Lando uses the same hand to wrap his fingers around her neck, pulling her in for a kiss. She feels his hand squeezing a little, the other one moving to her waist, hesitating before pulling her completely on top of him, without breaking the kiss. His tongue slips firmly into her mouth, just as it has done so many times before, but now it feels somehow different. Somehow, they both know that the kiss is meant to lead to something much more intense, because there’s nothing stopping them anymore.
In the intimacy of his apartment, without interruption, Lando lowers his hands to her waist, rubbing her against him. Slowly. Repeatedly. The pressure forces them to moan in unison, a brief taste of the pleasure they are about to share. His hands then drop lower, roaming over her thighs, then back down to her ass, cupping it in his large palms.
He breaks away just enough to murmur, his voice low and almost reverent, “That enough of an answer?”
“Positive,” she replies, feeling his breath hitch as she shifts on top of him, straddling his hips, her hands splaying over his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath her fingertips.
Her lips find his again, sweet and intoxicating, each kiss sending sparks to her core. The new position makes her feel him much more firmly between her legs, taking Lando by surprise when her hand lowers to cover his length, massaging him through the thin material of his shorts.
“Fucking hell,” his lips stutter against hers, while rocking his hips into her touch.
“Yeah…” she agrees, breathing hotly above him, “Did I do this to you?”
Before Lando gets a chance to even think of an answer, she slips her hand under the elastic band of his boxers, taking him in her hand, feeling him in his entirety; deliciously soft skin, warm and ready, and so painfully hard.
It makes her ache for him.
She pumps his cock in her hand a few times, enough for her to feel how he shifts under her. It takes her a lot of self-control to stop herself from taking him in her mouth the second she hears his sweet little panting, her thumb rubbing gently over his swollen tip.
The workout itself had left Lando’s muscles burning, but her touch it’s something else entirely, igniting a heat in him that burns deeper than anything he’s felt before. Five more minutes enjoying the same high and he can give up cardio completely. Guaranteed.
Slowly coming back to his senses, Lando realizes that he has free will, so he slips his hands under her sports bra, palming her hungrily until he feels her nipples hardening under his touch. He breaths heavily as he rolls them between his fingers, managing to make her respond with a soft meowl, her grip on his cock losening.
That’s his cue to take the lead, pulling her bra over her head in a quick move, and flipping their bodies over so that now he’s hovering above her, eyes filled with need while looking down at her.
“Hi there,” Lando copies her tone from earlier, feeling a little fraction of the power she had over him.
She wants to talk back so badly — one of her sarcastic little comments that she knows he loves — but all she can do is let out a pathetic whimper between her lips when his mouth finds home on her bare breast. At that, Lando feels a shiver running down his spine, looking up at how she closes her eyes in pleasure, arching her back more against his mouth.
“Driving me insane with your pretty ass, baby,” he says, breathing heavily, managing to cover her body in a thin layer of goosebumps, “And your pretty fucking nipples.”
“Lando…” she lets another cry slip out, opening her eyes to look at him.
The image that greets her makes her breath catch in her throat. The way he sucks on her nipple while playing with the other one, and the way he looks up at her through his eyelashes. It’s all too much. She ends up wrapping her legs around his waist, pulling him down with her. Then she runs her hands down his back, tugging at the edge of his shirt, tossing the useless material carelessly to the floor before pulling him closer for another kiss.
Mouth to mouth, chest to chest, skin on skin — who says heaven isn’t real?
But if that’s heaven, then what can she name the feeling she gets the moment his hand slips into her gym shorts and his fingers brush against her soaked entrance? Because it feels way too fucking good, much better than she expected, and certainly much better than her own hand whenever she pictured his face while fingering herself.
Lando starts slowly, spreading her wetness around her pussy, then fucking his fingers in and out, while cautiously watching her facial expressions changing. It’s not taking him long before finding that sweet, sweet spot that makes her roll her hips into his hand, desperation painted all over her face.
“Lan…,” she starts panting, “That’s—yes, right there.”
He hums proudly, sealing his mouth to hers, while parting her thighs with his knee so he can spread her more in front of him. Feeling herself open to his touch, so easy and wet, he no longer feels self-conscious about the way she’s so quickly tunring him boneless under her gaze. He realizes that the feeling is mutual, and it makes him want her even more.
If that’s even possible.
The sound of his fingers repeatedly fucking into her is all that anchors her in the present moment, but the second Lando feels her squeezing around them, he stops so he can silently ask for her permission to take the last piece of her clothing off.
She nods in a rush, swallowing the lump in her throat in anticipation.
Every inch of her is now bathed in the soft, golden light streaming through the window. Warm shadows are cast along her curves, the light outlining each delicate contour of her body as though the sun itself is painting her in real time. The image is so powerful yet vulnerable as she stands there, her figure glimmering with an almost unearthly serene confidence. Lando is utterly captivated by how ethereal she looks, like a goddess come to life, the kind he never imagined he would be close enough to even touch, let alone enjoy. He feels like he’s witnessing something sacred, something so incredibly rare, and the awe he feels is mixed with gratitude that she’s here with him, letting him see her in a such perfect lighting.
“You’re so fucking beautiful,” Lando finally manages to say, hoping that he hasn’t started drooling all over her in the meantime. “All of you.”
“Your turn,” she says in a muffled voice, slightly bashful at the way he stares at her like he wants to devour her. Which is not far from the truth.
He agrees that it’s a fair request, realizing that the only thing separating them now are his own shorts. Without protesting — because that would be so fucking dumb considering how hard he is — Lando gets rid of them with the speed of a perfect qualifying lap.
Matching the same pace, Lando’s hands slide around her waist, his fingers pressing gently into her hips as he guides them both to the side so they can face the window. Or that’s what she thought. Confused at first, she’s frowning at him, then follows his gaze, lost in the direction of their reflection, understanding immediately what he really wants: a show. A show just for them, in which they can lose themselves together, without limits.
She sighs at the sight of their hot, naked bodies, the way he aligns himself with her, and how he’s finally pushing inside, enough to hear her whimper. She watches as he stands above her, his hands gliding slowly over her sides, up her arms, grounding her in his touch. The image of them together, framed in the soft glow of the room, feels surreal, so intimate and vulnerable in a way that’s completely new for both of them.
Lando pauses, pulling out at her little whimper, then pressing back in, but just the tip.
“Fuck, baby,” he whispers, “You’re so fucking wet it keeps slipping out,” adds Lando in a low tone, so turned on that it makes her clench around him.
To her frustration, the speed at which Lando pushes back inside might as well be negative, causing her to explode with how needy she becomes in the meantime. But just as she’s about to encourage him to sink further, he buries himself to the hilt in one powerful thrust.
“Lando,” she says as she wraps her arms around his shoulders, “You… feels so good, shit,” she takes a moment to breath into his skin, then she turns her head to catch their reflection once again.
Lando is already looking, and when they make eye contact through the mirror, he starts fucking her slowly and gently, as if he could break her.
“See how silly you look for thinking we won’t match?” he sounds so amazed by how easily she opens up for him, over and over again, with each steady thrust of his hips, “See that? Taking all of me so well, baby.”
“Mhm,” she cries out at the way his cock throbs against her walls, because she knows it’s way too slow, even for him.
It’s simply agonizing.
“So perfect around me,” he states, “Can’t believe I lasted that long. Should’ve fucked you from the first night.”
At this point, he’s just rambling, but the thought makes her stomach tie in a knot.
“You would’ve let me, wouldn’t you?”
“Yes,” she speaks, already drunk on the way he feels inside her, “I would have let you fuck me in the plane bathroom, on the way to Imola. And back in your driver’s room, when Oscar caught us kissing. And last week, outside the club. Fuck. I wanted you to fuck me there so bad.”
His mind goes blank with all the lost opportunities, causing him to gradually increase his pace, the sound of them connecting so obscene.
“Wh—” he almost chokes on words, “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“You… stressed about work. I didn’t want to be… distraction,” she tightens her legs around him, keeping him inside her, the words losing their meaning as Lando shifts his position, wrapping his arm around her thigh to open her up even more for him. “Oh. Yes, like that!”
“Fuck, you’re so tight,” he swallows hard as he squeezes roughly at her thighs. “I’m so close.”
She knows that will leave marks on her skin, but nothing beats the pleasure of having Lando fucking himself so deep inside her, that her vision starts clouding.
All common sense went out the window the moment she stepped through his door, anyway.
She can feel his breath warm against her neck, hear the soft hitch in his breathing as he leans in, his lips brushing her shoulder, never breaking eye contact with her in the mirror. Lando’s hands are making their way to cup her ass, pulling out all the way, before fucking back in, all over again, until he finds the perfect rhythm between their bodies. He moans loudly, pressing his upper body on her, their scents blending together and sweat transferring from skin to skin. They move so in sync, completely attuned to each other, and the sight of their shared pleasure, reflected back at them, turns everything into fireworks, her mind completely empty. Except for how well she’s being fucked.
“Lan—Lando,” she’s so close to sobbing that she shuts her mouth at the sound of her voice, thinking it’s too pathetic to whine as she cums around him, her release dripping all over between their bodies.
The wet sound her pussy makes gives Lando way to fuck in deeper, taken by surprise that she finished without any warnings whatsoever. He grips her ass one more time before he stills inside her, his cock throbbing, and pulls out right before he starts leaking, resting his cock against her thigh, his entire length coated in her release. His cum drips from his tip to her inner thigh, making him groan while he fixes his gaze on the mirror at the image of them.
She buries her fingers in his curls after he finally collapses on top of her, their heavy breaths echoing throughout the room. With his head on her chest, he can feel her heart racing, gradually slowing down, and lets out a soft laugh as she shifts a little under him.
“We’re so fucking matching, baby. Let’s gooo!” exclaims Lando, exhaust evident in his voice.
She feels her cheeks warm, “I think you’re a little biased right now,” she jokes.
Lando shifts slightly so he can see her face, brushing a thumb tenderly along her side. He smiles softly, the usual spark in his eyes softened by something deeper, so gentle. “I’m just so happy for us.”
Her heart flutters, and she feels him sink even closer to her, threading his fingers through hers.
“And very sweaty,” she adds with a chuckle.
“Nah, I’m pretty sure that’s you,” he teases, letting the moment pass slowly, then calling out her name in a serious voice.
“Mhm?” she hums while turning to look in the mirror, watching him getting comfortable on top of her.
“Where do we go from here?” asks Lando.
“Your bedroom, I hope. The floor is killing my back.”

The Grump and Her Golden Retriever
Tumblr media
Word count: 467
Pairing: Carlos Sainz x reader
Summary: A grumpy Williams employee finds herself relentlessly pursued by Carlos Sainz’s golden-retriever energy as he makes it his mission to break her tough exterior and win her smile.
________________________________________________________
Carlos Sainz was insufferably cheerful.
It didn’t matter if he had just finished an exhausting race, if it was pouring rain at Silverstone, or if he was running on three hours of sleep—he was always smiling. Always.
And it drove you absolutely insane.
“You are like a cartoon character,” you muttered as he slid into the seat across from you in the Williams hospitality lounge, his blue team polo slightly damp from the drizzle outside. “No one should be this happy all the time.”
Carlos, undeterred, grinned even wider. “And you are like a grumpy cat. Always frowning. It’s cute.”
You shot him a glare that should have sent him running. Instead, he looked even more delighted, as if your irritation was his personal source of entertainment.
You and Carlos were not friends. Not really. You worked in the Williams media team, and ever since he joined, he had made it his mission to get under your skin. Why? You had no idea. Maybe because you never gave in to his effortless charm like everyone else did. Maybe because you never laughed at his bad jokes. Maybe because—despite being objectively good-looking and annoyingly nice—you found his relentless optimism exhausting.
“Why do you look at me like that?” you huffed, crossing your arms.
“Because one day, I will make you smile, and it will be the greatest victory of my life.” He reached across the table and stole a fry from your plate, popping it into his mouth before you could swat his hand away.
“Carlos!” You smacked his arm, but he just laughed, completely unfazed.
“You know, for someone who insists they don’t like me, you spend a lot of time talking to me,” he teased.
“I don’t have a choice. You follow me around like a lost puppy.”
“Golden retriever,” he corrected. “Puppy sounds too small. I am a full-size, loyal, excitable—”
“A menace,” you interrupted.
Carlos gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his chest. “Ay, that hurts, mi amor.”
You groaned. “Stop calling me that.”
“Why? You like it.”
Before you could argue, Alex Albon slid into the seat next to Carlos, glancing between the two of you with an amused smirk. “Still trying to win her over, mate?”
Carlos nodded without hesitation. “Sí. She is very stubborn.”
“I’m not stubborn,” you scoffed. “I just don’t understand why you feel the need to be so… so—”
“Charming? Handsome? Irresistible?” Carlos offered.
“I was going to say annoying.”
Alex snorted. “Yeah, that checks out.”
Carlos ignored him, still watching you with that ridiculous, infuriating grin. “I will make you laugh, you know.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Not a chance.”
“Oh, querida, that sounds like a challenge.”
And with the determined glint in his eyes, you knew you were in trouble.

THE ROYAL FAMILY OF F1 | lewis hamilton
Tumblr media
^ྀི pairing: lewis hamilton x reader, dad!lewis hamilton x mum! reader
^ྀི genre: fluff, established!relationship
^ྀི context: lewis and reader have been together for years and reader has been to almost every race until 2022 when she started showing up less and rumours occur that there trouble in paradise when in reality they’ve been hiding a huge secret
^ྀི warnings: none!
^ྀི sophie speaks!: this is so cute! when i was younger and used to watch f1 with my dad and not having a clue what the sport was about i had the fattest crush on lewis. (i still do) 💋
Tumblr media
Lewis Hamilton had always been private, but not distant. His love for Y/N had been evident since his earliest days in Formula 1. She was there from the start—quietly fierce, unwavering in her support, always just outside the limelight. By the time they married in 2016, the world had crowned them the King and Queen of the F1 paddock.
Fans adored them. Media praised them. Teammates envied the stability in their bond. Y/N became a staple of Lewis’ race weekends—always in the garage, often on the pit wall, sometimes walking hand-in-hand with Roscoe through the paddock like royalty.
But something changed in 2022.
She started appearing less and less. First, it was just the overseas races. Then it was Monaco. Then Silverstone. Then the entire season passed with barely a sighting. The whispers grew louder.
Trouble in paradise?
Is the Queen stepping away from the throne?
Has Y/N left F1… or Lewis?
But while the world speculated about a split, Lewis and Y/N were building something even more sacred—a family.
They had welcomed their son, Luca James Hamilton, quietly. No announcements. No tabloids. No social media hints. Just whispered joy between family and closest friends. They promised each other that Luca would have time to grow before the world learned his name. No cameras, no pressure—just love, crawling carpets, lullabies, and giggles.
And for three years, they kept that promise.
Until one summer morning in 2025, just a week before Silverstone, Luca toddled into their room in his space pajamas and climbed into bed between them, tugging at Lewis’ arm.
“Daddy,” he said. “I wanna see you race. At the track. Please?”
That was all it took.
RACE DAY- SILVERSTONE
The buzz of the paddock was routine—cameras flashing, team radios squawking, fans chanting behind the fences.
Then came the shift. A quiet kind of hush. And then a frenzy.
Lewis Hamilton had arrived… with Y/N Hamilton on one side, Roscoe on the other, and a curly-haired toddler walking between them in a tiny Ferrari jacket.
The paddock exploded.
It was the kind of reveal no one saw coming. No soft-launch. No teasing post. Just boom—the Hamiltons walked in as a family.
Luca held tightly to Lewis’ hand, wide-eyed and curious, completely unaware that the entire motorsport world was turning on its axis around him.
The paddock tour was chaos.
Every crew member turned their heads. Photographers scrambled. Mechanics stopped mid-task. The Ferrari team stood frozen for a moment before Fred smiled wide and bent to greet the boy who looked so much like his dad.
“Hey, little man. You must be Luca.”
“Hi,” Luca whispered, half-hiding behind Lewis’ leg. Roscoe gave him a nudge of encouragement with his nose.
Then came the drivers.
Charles did a double take mid-conversation. “No… NO WAY. Lewis?! That’s your son?!”
“Charles,” Lewis grinned, “meet Luca.”
“I’ve been on this grid with you for years! And youyou had a whole child?!”
Lewis just chuckled. “Some things are bigger than the grid, mate.”
Lando actually dropped his energy drink. “Bro. What. He has your face!”
Luca blinked up at him. “Are you the silly one from the funny videos?”
Lewis smirked. “He’s got you clocked already.”
Fernando crossed his arms, assessing. “You kept him a secret for three years?”
Lewis nodded. “Not secret. Just sacred.”
Alonso gave a respectful nod. “Good man.”
By the time Luca had fist-bumped Max, giggled at George’s jokes, and pointed at Oscar Piastri’s shoes saying they were “funny bright,” the drivers were in collective disbelief.
“How did no one know?” they asked each other.
“How did they hide a baby?”
“Why does this kid already have more paddock presence than me?!”
Social media? In flames.
“Did Lewis Hamilton just show up to Silverstone with a whole child and act like that’s normal???”
“The King, The Queen, The Prince, and Sir Roscoe. The Hamilton Royal Family has arrived.”
“We were so worried Y/N wasn’t at races anymore… SHE WAS RAISING A LEGEND.”
“3 YEARS?? We really know nothing about this man. And I love that for him.”
“Lewis in full dad mode. Holding his son’s hand and carrying Roscoe’s leash. I’m not okay.”
In the media pen, it was all anyone could ask about.
No tyre strategy. No upgrades. Just Luca.
“Lewis, the internet is collectively melting down. How did you keep your son a secret for so long?”
Lewis smiled, eyes soft. “Y/N and I just… we wanted to give him time. Time to learn to walk without cameras. To speak without microphones. We didn’t want him to be a storyline—we wanted him to be a little boy.”
“Was it hard not sharing him with the world?”
“Of course,” Lewis admitted. “There were moments I wanted to post every picture. Show off his first steps. His first word was ‘car,’ by the way,” he chuckled. “But at the end of the day, being his dad is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. And doing that in peace? With my wife by my side? That was the priority.”
One journalist asked gently, “And how does it feel… seeing him here, at your home race, walking the paddock with you?”
Lewis’s voice was thick with emotion. “It’s surreal. To see him take it all in—my world—and to do that with Y/N next to me… it’s everything. I’ve had wins, I’ve broken records, but today? Today’s special in a different way. I’m not just driving for points anymore. I’m driving for him.”
Later that night, in the quiet of their hotel room, Luca dozed between his parents with Roscoe curled at his feet. Lewis and Y/N sat in silence for a while, hand in hand, watching the rise and fall of their son’s small chest.
“You think it was too much?” Y/N whispered.
Lewis shook his head. “It was time. And he loved it.”
Y/N smiled. “He did.”
They glanced at the Lewis’s phone, at a photo Charles sent them earlier, the four of them—Lewis, Y/N, Luca, and Roscoe—standing on the track, Silverstone behind them.
A new kind of family portrait.
The paddock had crowned them long ago.
Today, they’d returned not just as royalty—but as legacy.
Tumblr media
sophie speaks!: let me know if you want a part 2 to this maybe Luca gets into karting? or Luca joins Lewis for the drivers parade? (i’m going to do it either way)

stuck - Charles Leclerc
Tumblr media
Y/N x Charles Leclerc Theme: Smut~ish Charles has a little suit malfunction and needs your help x' word count: 2250+ taglist: @cloud-55 @game-set-canet thanks to @pitstopreality-f1 for the idea <3 open for requests :)
As you scroll through your phone, the faint sound of Charles zipping up his racing suit fills the quiet of the motorhome. The atmosphere is calm, the scent of fresh coffee lingering from earlier, but there's a tension in the air—subtle, yet undeniable.
You hear a low mutter from behind, something too soft to make out, but his tone is slightly higher than usual, carrying a note of frustration.
Curious, you turn your head, and there he stands. His red racing suit clings to him like a second skin, tailored around the waist, tight, the upper half slightly unzipped, pulled down enough for you to catch a glimpse of the red Nomex shirt underneath.
Breathtaking.
His brows knitted together, lips slightly parted, and there's an unmistakable flicker of discomfort in his beautiful eyes. But what really catches your attention is his hand-tugging just below the waist, right where the fabric stretches tight over his hips.
You blink, feigning innocence. "Something wrong?" You ask, tilting your head as if you have no idea what's going on.
Charles exhales sharply through his nose, his jaw tensing. He doesn't answer with words; he only shifts his weight slightly and flicks his gaze downward before meeting yours again.
It's a silent plea, subtle but clear.
There is a not-so-subtle strain underneath his hand, and Charles is trying to fix it.
You bite your lip, suppressing a smirk. Oh, you know exactly what happened.
Charles likes his suit snug—he says it makes him feel more secure, more in control. But sometimes, well... sometimes it backfires.
You hum thoughtfully, standing up and taking a slow step toward him. "Is it too loose?" You tease, watching as his expression shifts—annoyance flashing briefly before he rolls his eyes, shaking his head.
"You know, it's not," he grumbles, attempting to adjust himself again, but the material refuses to give.
You let the silence stretch between you for a moment, letting the amusement simmer before finally deciding to help him out. After all, the first practice session is in an hour, and you don't want your dear Charles distracted on track, do you?
Still, there is so much fun in teasing him a little more.
You take your time, letting your amusement settle into something softer, something playful. Charles watches you carefully, his frustration flickering between impatience and something else entirely.
His hand is still gripping the fabric just below his waist, but you pretend not to notice. Instead, you step in closer, lifting a hand to his stomach, running your fingertips lightly over the firm muscles beneath the layers of his racing suit.
His breath hitches—just barely—but you catch it.
"Are you sure something's wrong?" You ask, tilting your head, voice dripping with mock innocence as your fingers trail higher, brushing over his ribs before sliding up his arm.
His muscles tense beneath your touch.
"Babé..." His voice is low, a warning, but there is no real bite to it.
You smile, letting your fingers drift along the curve of his bicep before traveling to his shoulder, tracing lazy patterns over the fabric of his suit.
He shifts his weight, his frustration mounting, but you're not done yet.
You lift your other hand, trailing it up to his neck, letting your fingertips brush over the sensitive skin just beneath his jaw.
You know exactly what you're doing.
Charles exhales sharply through his nose again, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly as he swallows. His eyes flicker with something between impatience and surrender as your fingers move higher, tracing the line of his jaw through the short stubble of his goatee.
"You're acting like you need my help." You murmur, pretending to study his face as if you're still unaware of his predicament. "But you haven't told me what's wrong."
Charles huffs, eyes narrowing slightly. His fingers twitch where they're still gripping his suit, but he refuses to spell it out.
You grin, enjoying this far too much.
"Come on, babé," you tease, leaning in just enough for your breath to brush against his skin. "Use your words."
His jaw tightens, his patience wearing thin, and you know you've got him right where you want him.
His voice is quieter this time, almost reluctant. "It's... stuck."
You blink at him innocently. "Hm?"
He exhales deeply, shifting his stance, clearly fighting the urge to roll his eyes. "It's stuck," he repeats, his voice slightly strained now.
"Oh," you say, drawing out the word as if you've only just realized. "That's what's up."
Charles doesn't respond—just stares at you with that same mix of frustration and expectation. His fingers are still gripping the fabric tightly, but you pretend not to notice.
Instead, you let your fingertips ghost just next to his, barely brushing against the edge of the material.
His breath hitches.
You drag your fingers lightly over the taut fabric, tracing along the seam but not actually fixing the problem just yet. Instead, you tilt your head, studying him.
"You know," you murmur, your voice teasing, "this only happens because you order your suits so tight."
Charles lets out a sharp breath, shifting again as his hands twitch. "I like them that way," he mutters, but his voice is thinner now, a little more impatient.
You hum, your fingers brushing featherlight over the area again. "Mhm," you say, feigning deep thought. "But sometimes I think you forget just how tight they actually are."
His jaw clenches. "Chérie..."
You bite back a grin.
Charles exhales through his nose, his frustration nearly tipping over as he shifts his stance once more, a subtle squirm that doesn't go unnoticed.
Oh, he's trying to be patient, but you can see the way his fingers flex, his whole body just barely holding back from snapping at you to stop teasing.
"You're making it worse," he grumbles, voice lower now, edged with something between exasperation and restraint.
You feign surprise, letting your fingertips ghost over the fabric again, featherlight. "Am I?" You murmur.
Charles lets out a slow, controlled breath as you finally stop teasing and actually help him. His racing suit is snug—too snug—and it's obvious now why he's so uncomfortable. The tight fabric trapped his length awkwardly, pressing it against his hip in a way that's impossible to ignore.
His eyes drop, flickering down to your hand—watching the way your fingers trace along the seam, teasing the stuck, sensitive skin without actually fixing it. When his gaze lifts back to yours, it's a look.
A warning.
A plea.
You move deliberately, your fingers brushing over the smooth fabric as you adjust it, making sure it's positioned more comfortably. Charles shifts slightly, his muscles tensing beneath your touch, but he stays still, letting you work.
His breath hitches when you press a little too firmly, and you glance up at him, suppressing a smirk. His jaw is clenched, his gaze fixed somewhere past you, as if he's trying to focus on anything but what's happening.
With a final tug, he's free, and the fabric shifts just barely, giving him more room, more comfort.
He rolls his shoulders as he adjusts his stance, finally freed from the uncomfortable tightness. His gaze flickers downward for the briefest moment, feeling the difference—his length now resting naturally between his thighs instead of being awkwardly trapped beneath the fabric.
A slow breath escapes him, the tension in his posture easing as relief settles in. His fingers flex at his sides before he runs a hand over his lower stomach, as if confirming that everything is in place.
You watch him, the way his brows unknit, his jaw loosens, and that familiar look of quiet satisfaction takes over. He's enjoying the freedom now, appreciating the small but very necessary adjustment.
"Better?" You tease, knowing full well the answer.
He doesn't look at you immediately, just tilts his head slightly as he tests a small shift of his legs, ensuring the fabric moves with him instead of against him. Then, finally, his gaze meets yours, and there's something softer there—amusement, maybe even something a little smug.
Charles exhales through his nose, his Adam's apple bobbing again as he swallows. "Mhm." His voice is rough, strained. "Much better." He admits, looking down at himself again.
You pat his hip lightly, smoothing out the last of the fabric. "See? That wasn't too hard."
His eyes snap to yours, a flicker of something unreadable in them, and you just grin. "Well," you amend, "not anymore."
Charles lets out a sharp sigh, running a hand down his face before zipping up his suit fully.
"You enjoy this way too much," he mutters.
You shrug, completely unapologetic. "Maybe."
He exhales, rolling his shoulders once again as he adjusts to the way his suit fits now—snug, secure, exactly how he likes it. But there's something else in his expression now, a shift from frustration to something more playful. His lips twitch, and then, to your surprise, he giggles—quiet at first, then a little more freely, his amusement bubbling up as he rocks on his heels.
You raise an eyebrow. "What?"
He grins, shifting his weight slightly, his eyes flickering down for just a second before meeting yours again. "It's just..." He exhales through his nose, still smiling. "Feels good now."
You narrow your eyes at him. "Oh?"
Charles tilts his head, mischief dancing in his beautiful eyes. "Mhm," he hums, puffing out his chest as if testing the way his suit molds to him. "Very tight this year."
You smirk, crossing your arms. "I told you."
But before you can tease him further, he takes a step toward you. Close. His posture relaxed, his confidence back in full force.
You tilt your chin up slightly, refusing to back away, but he notices—of course he does—and his smirk deepens.
"You know," he murmurs, lifting an eyebrow, "I think you enjoy it just as much as I do."
You scoff, but you can't stop the way your lips twitch. "I was just helping."
Charles hums, unconvinced, his eyes flickering over your face like he's reading every little reaction you try to hide. "Mhm," he muses. "And yet... you took your time."
You open your mouth to argue, but before you can, he leans in just a fraction, his voice lower now. "Don't worry, chérie, he murmurs, his smirk turning almost smug. "I don't mind."
You roll your eyes, pushing lightly at his chest, but all it does is make him laugh—light and easy, that boyish, carefree sound that always manages to get to you.
Charles steps back, turning slightly to face the mirror mounted on the wall. His gaze flickers over his own reflection, assessing, but you're the one who gets caught staring.
And how can you not?
The red racing suit clings to him perfectly, molded to every sharp line of his body. The snug fit accentuates everything—his broad chest, the way the fabric stretches over his strong thighs, the curve of his arms, and even the undeniable definition of his ass and crotch. It's a sight you'll never get tired of.
His hair is tousled from getting dressed, just messy enough to look effortlessly good, and the trimmed beard only adds to the look.
There is something about him like this—polished yet still raw, every part of him exuding confidence. And then there's the faintest trace of his cologne hanging in the air, subtle yet completely overwhelming, making it impossible to focus on anything else.
He smooths his hands down the front of his suit, adjusting the fabric across his chest, then over his arms before his palms skim lower—over his thighs, pressing out any creases before he squeezes himself gently, just making sure it sits perfectly.
Your breath catches slightly, but you move before he notices, grabbing his cap from the sideboard.
Without a word, you step up to him and place it on his head, adjusting it so it sits just right.
"There," you say, tilting your head to admire your work.
Charles watches you through the mirror, lips twitching slightly. He reaches up, fingers brushing over the edge of the cap as if testing it before his smirk deepens.
"Perfect?" he asks, teasing.
You hum, letting your gaze sweep over him once more before meeting his eyes in the reflection. "Almost."
He chuckles, shaking his head slightly, but you catch the flicker of something else in his expression—something smug, knowing.
He saw you staring.
He knows.
Charles watches you for a moment longer in the mirror, his smirk softening just slightly. Then, without a word, he turns to you, tilting his head down just enough to press a warm, lingering kiss to your cheek.
His touch is light at first—just the brush of his lips against your skin—but then his hand follows, fingers grazing down your arm, over your waist, slow and deliberate. There's something restrained about it, the way his fingers hesitate, how his thumb just barely traces over your hip before he pulls back.
You exhale, heartbeat quickening, because you know that hesitation isn't hesitation at all—it's control.
You need to leave.
Charles knows it. You know it. And yet, for a second too long, you don't move.
His eyes flicker over your face, something unreadable in them, before he exhales and straightens up, adjusting his cap like he's resetting himself.
"Come on," he murmurs, voice lower than before. "We'll be late."
You nod, swallowing down the warmth spreading through your chest.
But as he turns to the door, you don't miss the way his fingers flex at his side—like he's already regretting letting go.

Learning Curve
Tumblr media
Kimi Antonelli x Reader
Summary: You were hired to manage his image, not fall for him.
Tumblr media
It was your second day as the new PR assistant for Mercedes, and you already felt like you were drowning in emails, social media alerts, and sponsor updates.
But the real challenge hadn’t even started yet.
Your first task?
Help Kimi Antonelli ease into the media spotlight.
They warned you he was quiet. Reserved. Intense.
What they didn’t tell you was that he had the kind of eyes that held a thousand thoughts but gave away nothing.
And when you first met him in the corner of the hospitality suite, tucked between a sleek espresso machine and his unopened media guide, he looked more like a student in detention than a future F1 star.
“You’re the new PR person?” he asked, tilting his head slightly, curious but guarded.
“That’s me,” you smiled, clutching your iPad a little tighter. “And you’re my new challenge, apparently.”
He raised an eyebrow at that but didn’t say anything. Just took a sip of water, and nodded toward the paddock entrance.
“Let’s get it over with.”
The first few weeks were a blur of interviews, sponsor shoots, fan meet-and-greets, and endless attempts to get Kimi to say more than five words on camera.
He wasn’t rude, not at all. Just careful. Thoughtful. Private.
But there were moments when you saw the person underneath the calm, media-trained surface.
Like the time he held the door open for an elderly cameraman carrying a tripod, waited until he was well through, and even helped him down the stairs.
No cameras, no one around. Just Kimi being kind.
Or the time you caught him reading through a fan letter someone had dropped at the media centre. It was a child’s drawing of his karting days, misspelt words and all. He stared at it for minutes, like it meant the world.
“Do you keep those?” you asked gently.
He folded it carefully and slid it into his bag. “Only the good ones.”
It became a quiet ritual between you.
After every media day, you’d sit side by side in the team trailer, debriefing with a cup of tea or whatever weird energy drink he was testing that week.
“I said too much, didn’t I?” he’d ask after a particularly chatty interview.
“You said two full sentences,” you teased. “I'm proud of you.”
He rolled his eyes, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward.
You didn’t know when it started feeling like more.
Maybe it was the time he started checking your schedule to see if you’d be free for lunch.
Or when he started saving you a seat beside him during meetings. Or when he noticed your cough during a back-to-back triple-header weekend and quietly left a lemon and ginger tea in your cubby the next morning.
But you really knew when he called you at half past ten, the night before his home race in Monza.
“You okay?” you asked, already worried.
There was a long pause.
“I know you’re supposed to help me handle pressure,” he said quietly. “But sometimes... I think you’re the only reason I’m handling any of this at all.”
Your breath caught.
“Kimi...”
“I don’t know if this is allowed. Or if it’s a terrible idea. But I like you. Not just as my PR lifeline." He laughed softly, nervous for the first time. “I just thought you should know.”
The team found out a month later when Toto caught Kimi stealing a kiss behind the garage after qualifying P3 in Japan.
“Be smart,” he said to both of you, but there was no stern warning, just a faint smile.
The gossip lasted all of two days before another race scandal buried it, but your life didn’t go back to normal.
Now Kimi reached for your hand under the table during press dinners. Now he texted you song lyrics when he missed you on travel days. Now he gave you his hoodie during long media shoots even though it messed with his ‘brand aesthetic’.
He was still quiet, still fiercely focused but now he let you in.
Let you see the nerves before a race, the joy after a win, the frustration after a DNF.
And you? You stopped hiding behind your clipboard.
You learned that sometimes, the best stories weren’t on the track. They were in the small moments. The almosts, the glances, the late-night calls that turned into early-morning laughs.
The day he won his first podium, you stood just off-stage, trying not to cry while cameras flashed around him. Kimi found you in the crowd anyway.
He ignored the media scrum completely, walking straight to you, helmet under his arm, champagne still dripping from his suit.
“Still proud of me?” he asked, voice low.
You reached up and cupped his cheek.
“More than ever.”
And this time, it was you who kissed him first.

kink-o-ween - day nine
fernando alonso - semi-public sex
cw: smut/pwp, semi-public sex, age gap (20s/40s), assistant!reader, chauvinistic!fernando, age gap (20s/40s)
kink-o-ween: formula one edition - call of duty edition
Tumblr media
"fernando? fernando?" lance's voice sounded a million miles away. fernando alonso was not paying attention. not while you were a shivering mess now under the protection of the roof of the garage.
you held onto your shoulders and shivered. you were standing there in a soaked white blouse (he could see your nipples), a pencil skirt that somehow hugged more of your curves, and high heels.
you looked delicious. a meal served up to fernando
fernando got up, ignoring his teammate as he headed towards you. the driver beamed as he took off his jacket and put it over your shoulders, "well, if it isn't my lovely assistant. what were you doing out there?"
you were pulled to his side, and let him rub your bicep, "i was out with the rest of the team and it started to pour. i should've brought a rain coat."
"ah well, next time. right? you'll remember." he chuckled as he brought you further into the garage. you needed to dry off, the team will be fine without their favourite assistant for some time.
while you thought you'd be with the rest of the staff before the race. instead you ended up in fernando's driver's room. but before he got you into the room, he kissed you up against the door of the place. he held onto your wet shoulders.
"you look good like this. all wet for me, everyone can see everything. i don't like that very much. you should be for my eyes only. right? you're not that dumb to think that i would let you whore yourself out like that." he got you up onto the couch in the driver's room. your clothes were restrictive so fernando did you a favour and got you out of them.
too bad he didn't leave them out to dry, rather in a wet heap. after he was done with you, you could wear some of his clothes. you'd look nicer anyway. he loved the sight of you down to your underwear, out of those restrictive clothes.
"they shouldn't be putting you in such tight things. you'd draw too much attention to yourself. i think something softer for someone like you. a woman." he chuckled as he invaded your space on the couch.
the walls of the driver's rooms were thin and the door to fernando's barely locked. it was risky, especially given your connections. you didn't want a scandal. but all caution was thrown to the wind when he got his cock out of his jeans.
there was a noticeable age gap between you and him. but you didn't care, you were an adult. and could do what you pleased. but still, the sight of a younger naked woman on top of a well known formula was driver would cause a scandal. but fernando didn't care, not when your heavy breasts were in his face, tempting him.
"you make me want to do bad things to you." he said, "things that would make a whore blush." he groped at your blush, "and you'd let me do it all, you'd let me pick you apart." his voice was hot in your ear and it made you shudder.
you were in his lap, your breasts so close to his face. his large hands groped your skin. you knew rationally it was wrong. that you should've high-tailed it out of there. but, you couldn't help yourself. not when his cock stood upright. you took a hold of his cock and sank yourself onto it before you started to ride him.
"oh perfect." he said softly, he couldn't be too loud. not while you were both on the clock. you also had to be quick as well, as you were also on the clock.
you whimpered a little but placed a hand over your mouth as you rode him. your other hand was on his shoulder for support as you rubbed yourself up against him. fernando loved the sight of you, you were so close to him. all naked on his cock, you bounced on him as you worked his cock so pretty.
"you always take care of me." he said as he kissed your neck, he could feel the sweat on your neck. his cock twitched inside of you with an insatiable need to fuck you harder.
he wanted to feel you inside and out, he wanted to drag his hands across your body. he wanted to feel the jump in your pulse as he dragged his fingers across you. he wanted to feel your nipples grow hard and your pulse jump. he wanted it all, he was greedy that way. why would he deny himself such a beautiful woman? you pranced around, all smiles, around the paddock. fernando knew that others stared at you, but you always ended up in his bed. with him. alone.
he wasn't sharing, he didn't care what gen-z did in their sexual activities. if he was going to fuck you, then it was you two together, rutting like rabbits. the idea of someone else's lips on you made him scowl without a second thought.
but you kissed away the look from his thinking as you continued to ride him. this position was perfect for a quick fuck, fernando loved you on top. it was the only time he'd allow you to be on top. since he was the man, he was always a little more ahead of you. and you were the innocent little angel that took him perfectly.
he gripped onto your hips tighter and started to control the pace more. you clung onto him with both hands as you bit your bottom lip to keep quiet. you could feel the rattle of your heartbeat in your chest. the rapid thump excited you as you moved faster.
"you're so pretty. better at this than being my assistant." he kissed at your breasts and felt good inside of you. you felt like a dream as he licked his lips and looked at you.
you replied, "i very much like my job, fernando." you clung onto him tightly. you moaned a little louder and it made you feel hot all over. the risk grew the longer you took to cum.
"i know, i know. it's perfect, even for a silly girl like you. you don't know how many men wish to eat you alive. but only i get to devour you." he groaned as he worked your hips faster. his large hands on your hips as he pushed you up and down onto his cock.
the kisses continued once more, you whimpered into it as you moved as quickly as you could. your sweat was combined with the leftover rainwater on your skin. when you pulled away, you had a blissed out expression on your face.
you looked beautiful, so, so beautiful on top of him. as your body moved against him. fernando gazed at your body and clutched onto you. he continued to move you onto his cock. it didn't take long before orgasm washed over you. you clutched onto him tightly.
he loved the feeling of you climaxing around him. he took you by the face and pulled you into a tight kiss before he continued to rut against you. it was alright, you did enough for him (for now). he let you rest against him as he fucked up into you.
you gasped and whined softly against his shoulder as you worked his hips. he was surprised that you didn't make some snide comment about how he could still fuck as good as he did at his age.
"so pretty." he said, "and so small. i could easily break you in half. you look prettiest like this. against me, letting me fuck you as i please. you're such a dirty girl." you whimpered softly in response.
it didn't take long for him to finish himself. he came inside of you, and left a red mark on your collarbone. it wouldn't be shown with any shirt you wore, but he'd know it was there.
he slowed his thrusts to a stop, but kept his cock inside of you for a moment longer to kiss you on lips. the kiss was deep, but there wasn't enough time for round two.
you pulled away from the kiss and pushed hair out of your eyes, "will you let me borrow some clothes."
fernando could never say no to you. he looked at your pile of wet clothes and said, "well, i don't have any extra bras." he chuckled, "so i guess you'll have to go without." he licked his lips.
he knew the sight of you bra-less in his clothes was going to drive him wild. at least you wouldn't complain when he tore them off of you later. <3

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Saturday at the Red Bull Ring.
The Red Bull Ring—man, it’s gorgeous in that “might kill you if you blink” kind of way. All those rolling green hills and sneaky dips, blind corners just waiting to ruin someone’s afternoon. It’s the sort of place that keeps everyone’s nerves jangling, mechanics and dads alike.
Lando Norris stood there on the pit wall, arms tight across his chest, McLaren hoodie on, but he wasn't looking at the scenery. Not even glancing at the track, really. His eyes were glued to Car #17. His kid.
Y/N had been on it all weekend. Quick as hell in practice. Didn’t flinch in the rain. Nailed qualifying. But something felt off this morning. Not just the car—him, too. Different edge.
“Still got the Red Bull kid rattling around in your head?” Lando threw it out there, eyes still locked on the timing screen.
Y/N’s voice came over the radio, dry as toast. “No.”
Yeah, right. Lando knew a fib from his kid a mile off.
Friday – The Day Before
FP2 was a mess.
Turn 3—classic. Y/N dived for the inside. Elias Voss, the Red Bull Academy’s newest wonderboy, tried to hang it round the outside. Neither of them lifted. So, naturally, Y/N’s front wing went bye-bye, and Voss got a face full of gravel.
Cue drama. Voss’s team was fuming. “Reckless!” “Entitled!” All the greatest hits.
Stewards called it just a racing thing, but the paddock loved to gossip.
“Bet Norris thinks he’s untouchable now.”
“Silver spoon, gets away with anything.”
Y/N heard every word. Pretended he didn’t.
Back to Saturday
Lap 14.
Everything goes sideways.
Happens in a blink, as usual.
Voss is right there again, lining him up into Turn 3. Déjà vu.
Lando leans in, practically chewing his nails. “Don’t fight it too hard,” he mutters. “Let him screw up.”
But Y/N? He’s not backing out.
Tires touch. That sound—metal, rubber, chaos. Smoke. Debris everywhere.
Car #17 launches, spins, smacks the barriers so hard you could feel it in your teeth. Even the engineers stagger back, pale.
The whole world just… stops.
“Red flag. Red flag. Medical team dispatched.”
Lando’s off like a shot. Doesn’t care about credentials or radios or anyone yelling at him. He’s running, pure dad mode.
The Wreck
Marshals’ve already swarmed the mess. Wheel over here. Halo’s got a nasty crack. The car’s twisted in ways it shouldn’t be.
Lando shoves through the crowd and finds him.
Y/N’s slumped over, helmet askew, not moving.
“Y/N!” Lando drops, knees on tarmac. “Hey, buddy, c’mon. Open your eyes, look at me.”
Medic grabs him, pulls him back. “We need space, possible spinal.”
Lando stumbles away, can’t breathe, just staring at the kid in the mangled car.
Time crawls.
Then—was that a twitch? A noise? Yeah. Y/N’s alive.
Hospital – Graz University Clinic
Broken arm, cracked ribs, concussion, bruises everywhere, a bit of a spinal scare—but he’s gonna make it.
He’s out cold, though.
Lando sits there, holding his son’s hand, mumbling stuff he should’ve said ages ago.
“You don’t have to prove a damn thing. Not to them. Not to me. Especially not to me.”
Wipes his eyes, trying to play it cool.
“You’re already everything I hoped you’d be.”
Sunday Night
Y/N wakes up just as the sun’s ducking out.
Eyes flutter, sharp breath, groan.
Lando’s right there.
“Hey, hey. I got you, I’m here.”
Y/N blinks up, groggy. “Did I crash?”
Lando nods, smiling through tears. “Oh yeah. Massive one. Gave your old man a few grey hairs.”
“Voss?”
“He’s fine. You will be too. Just not today.”
Y/N glances at his cast, then his chest, and his face kind of crumples.
“I thought I was better than that. I thought I could—”
“Stop.” Lando’s suddenly all business. “You don’t get to do that. Not when you’re the one in the hospital bed.”
Silence.
Finally: “I was scared.”
Lando squeezes his hand. “Me too. But you’re here. That’s what counts.”
Three Weeks Later – Home
Recovery sucks.
Y/N’s hating every minute. The quiet, the ache, the way every tiny thing feels like screwing up.
But Lando’s there. Every physio, every stretch, every crap night when the pain comes roaring back.
He never says it, but Y/N knows:
I’d take the crash for you if I could.
But this time, all he can do is stick around and help him through it.
One Month Later – Back at the Track
No racing yet. Just walking the paddock, getting his bearings.
People look. Whisper.
Voss walks by, eyes flickering, maybe a little sorry.
Y/N stares him down. Doesn’t even flinch.
Lando, hiding behind his shades, grins.
“You scared the hell outta me, you know.”
Y/N bumps him with his shoulder. “You already said that.”
“Still true.”
They stand there together in the shadow of the Red Bull Ring—the same place that broke him, and the same place he’s back again.
Not a ghost.
A survivor.

McLaren hat / OP81
Summary: Oscar x girlfriend!reader - You never realised how much pressure would come from simply being a Formula 1 WAG, and start to go a little bonkers with all the PR.
Warnings: I don't remember if Abu Dhabi was hot this season (probably like wasn't at all) but just pretend it was okay?, stress, kind of low self image, anxiety, taking great lengths just to feel accepted
Requested?: No
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Hey Y/n- whoa." As soon as Oscar looks up from his phone at you, his eyes widen and his eyebrows shoot up.
You watch as he looks you over, and immediately say, "Does it look alright?"
"Does it look alright?!" Oscar asks, standing up right away to be in front of you. "Y/n, you look gorgeous." He steps closer, taking your hands, looking at your tight, short black dress, leather boots, and (of course) the McLaren hat upon your head.
"You sure?"
"What do you mean, 'you sure?'?! Of course I'm sure!" he says with a little smile, his eyes returning back to your gaze. "But what made you decide to dress like a model today, anyway?"
You smile softly, glancing away, feeling comforted by his validation, before saying with a little shrug, "I don't know. Just felt like it." Most of the time, you just wear casual clothes: a McLaren shirt and hat, white jeans, and maybe sunglasses. So you can get how Oscar would be so shocked. You suppose you just weren't expecting this much of a reaction.
He brushes your cheek, saying, "You did your makeup differently, too, didn't you?"
"Yeah... is it too much?"
"Not at all. It's bold, but I like it."
You nod with a little relieved sigh. "You sure?"
He nods confidently. "Positive."
"Oh, good," another little smile creeps up on your face. "That's good to hear. Well, I guess I should leave you to your duties now, Oscar. See you later!" you begin to turn around to leave, but he suddenly grabs your hand to pull you back.
He gives you a quick kiss on your cheek and mutters, "Have fun, beautiful," before letting go of your hand again and letting you walk off.
"Oh! Oscar! Don't you think I would look pretty in this...?" you ask excitedly, tugging his hand, holding up a top on a clothes hanger. It's been two hours already of you dragging Oscar from store to store, buying and trying on clothes, simply because you wanted to apparently 'get more nice clothes to wear to F1 races,' and Oscar hasn't had the heart yet to suggest finishing up.
"Hm? Oh, yeah, I think you would..." he says, a bit distant, before snapping back into it and saying, "But red's not really your color. Not that you don't look good in it. You look good in everything you wear. I'm just saying-"
"No, no, I get it... I just remember Alex wearing something like this..."
"Alex?" Oscar asks, confused. "Alex who?"
"Oh, you know. Alexandra," when he just proceeds to look even more confused, you add, "Charles's girlfriend?"
"Oh..." Oscar nods as he realizes who you're even talking about, and shrugs, before saying after a few seconds, a bit confused, "Well, of course she'd be wearing red. She's Ferrari."
You crinkle your nose. "Do you really expect me to wear bright orange, Oscar?"
He snorts and says, "No. All I'm saying is that maybe she just wears red for Ferrari. I don't know, I'm not paying attention to her. I only pay attention to you, and though I think you look beautiful in red or not, either way, all I'm saying is that it's just not your color. Besides, you told me to be honest at the beginning of all this. I'm just trying to do what you want me to do. But in then end, I don't really care what you wear; you look amazing either way."
You frown, and suddenly groan, "I wish I looked good in red!"
Oscar smiles, still a bit confused at this complaint. "Why?" he asks earnestly.
You shrug, glancing back down at the shirt. "I dunno. Because Alex looks so good in red."
Oscar cocks his head a bit, apparently still not really understanding. "Who cares what Alexandra looks good in? Because I certainly don't."
You sigh, getting a bit exasperated. "I don't know! I guess I'm just trying to look pretty on the paddock, but I look sucky in all the lovely styles that everyone else always wears!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Oscar says, his hand immediately going to your shoulder. "First of all, you never, ever look sucky, no matter what you're wearing. Second of all, in my opinion, you're always the prettiest in the paddock, no matter who's there. And third of all, who says you have to wear the styles everybody else is wearing? I think your current style is perfectly lovely and fine and beautiful, but even if you do want to change it up, you can find your own. Or invent your own. You don't have to copy Alexandra, or whoever else."
But you only hear half of what he's really saying, and register nearly none of it, and the moment he stops talking, you hold up yet another red top (that honestly doesn't really look that different to Oscar), and say, "How about this one? It's a different shade," holding it up to yourself.
Realizing that this really isn't a battle he's going to win, Oscar just sighs, smiles, and nods, saying, "Actually, yeah. I like the fit would be good. And this color suits you a bit more, too." To him, it looks like the exact same color.
You grin, seeming much more pleased, "Oh, good! Can I go try it on?"
Oscar sigh a bit, smiling and shaking his head, murmuring, "M-hm, sounds good. Can't wait to see it on you, beautiful."
As you walk off to the changing room, Oscar thinks he hears you murmur something about how 'maybe you should just go more for Carmen's style.' Oscar's eyebrows just scrunch together at that, and as he sits down outside the changing rooms to wait for you to come show him, all he can think is, Maybe that's just the way girls are, and I really don't understand them after all.
The excitement of having some of the prettiest girls in the paddock complimenting your outfits is almost too much. The girls that you admire so much.
The ones that handle the fame and attention so well.
You feel like you're already doing better with all that stuff. Once you're convinced you look good, which usually takes at least a half hour of switching outfits, at least twenty reassurances from Oscar, and at least one outside person complimenting your appearance, you feel like a different person.
Like you could conquer the world!
Well, Oscar's not a very sensitive person, nor overly perceptive. It doesn't bother him that you seem to be a bit preoccupied. Not really. Sure, there are some times he wishes you were around when you're not, like you used to be, but he doesn't take it personally. He wants the best for you. And if the best of you is to distance yourself a bit in order to find yourself, or whatever you're doing, he trusts you. As long as you keep saying there's nothing wrong, and you're all good, he'll keep being the first person to believe it.
He just keeps sort of ignoring his intuition telling him that something is just off. Because you're not just growing. It's almost as if you're changing into a new person. Not the girl he asked out years ago. Not the girl he's fallen in love with. On the outside, on the paddock, in public, with all the cameras on you, you seem like the bubbly, friendly perfect type of girl with everything all right. You've never really been that type. Of course, you've always been happy, and to him, you're just perfect. But you've never been so camera hungry and extroverted like you seem to be now. You seem so confident in yourself, it almost seems fake. Though Oscar would never dare consider that thought anymore. It's just that in private, you seem to be the polar opposite of that: tired, quiet, let down. It's like the balanced girl he knew that was consistent nearly all the time has just switched to opposite extremes in different situations. And, well, Oscar has no idea why. He'd be lying if he were to say he wasn't concerned.
But he also can't see any way it'd be right to bring it up.
He just kind of misses the way it used to be. The way you used to be.
"Oscar!" his thoughts are suddenly interrupted by your voice and your footsteps entering the room. It's the early morning before he has to head to the paddock to begin the last race weekend of the season, and he's been laying in bed on his phone for a few minutes, waiting for you to get out of the hotel bathroom so he can have a quick shower.
"Yes?" Oscar asks, setting his phone down as you enter the room. You enter the room to show him your clothes, feeling slightly nervous, and unsure, like countless times before.
You twirl in your outfit, which consists of a white strapless top, dress pants, and black high heels. "How do I look?"
This has been going on for months, now. Probably about half the season. And in that moment, it just kind of snaps in Oscar's brain, and without thinking, and without being supportive like he always is, he decides that today, he's going to be honest. "Well, you look gorgeous. As always, of course, Y/n." He sits up and slips off the bed, before continuing practically, "But how thick are those pants? It's supposed to be killer hot today, and I'd hate for you to cook in those. I mean, they do make you look killer hot. They do look nice. And the high heels are lovely, but you always talk about how much your feet hurt after wearing those. Especially out on the paddock? And," he adds, reaching you, so he's nice and close to you, before picking up his McLaren cap off the hotel nightstand and sticking it on your head, "When did you stop wearing this hat, hm? I always thought you looked adorable in it."
You stare at each other for a few seconds, as if neither of you were expecting all that to come out of Oscar's mouth.
But what happens next is about the last thing Oscar would expect.
You take the hat off your head, throw it at his feet, turn on your heel, and walk straight out of that hotel room.
It all happens so fast, Oscar doesn't even have a moment to register what just happened and call you back before the door shuts behind you.
Ten unread messages from Oscar, and you don't even know why you're so mad, but the last thing you want to do right now is see him.
The first thing you want to do is think through it. Convince yourself he's wrong, and you're right.
He wants me to be a certain way for some reason, and it bothers him that I'm becoming who I want to be? So he just likes an ordinary girl with ordinary looks and ordinary fashion and an ordinary personality?
The truth is, you have no idea why he'd want that more than what you're trying to be.
Maybe he's just controlling? He just wants control over what you wear and how you act? But for the years you've dated him, he's never displayed qualities like those.
Then what is it? your brain screams, and for some reason, tears begin to fill your eyes.
And that's when a whisper of a thought dares to say, Doesn't Oscar want the best for you?
Is doing all this really the best for you?
But all the PR and popularity with fans it's brought you... it's so... validating.
But also so exhausting.
And when you come home at the end of the day, don't you want nothing more than to just take that mask off and destroy it?
You know how fake it is. It's like you work every day to make your mask become your face, but that will never happen, and that's painful.
You were happier before, but your outward 'success' was, like, close to nothing.
Do you really want this?
Can you even give up now?
With all the validation from the fans and media?
Maybe Oscar was a bit much today in the hotel. He was. But maybe he had a point, too...
It's like you can't stop. You keep it up for the rest of the weekend, even to Oscar, now, pretending everything is okay, and it's too much.
But you can't stop.
At the end of the weekend, though, after it's all said and done and you've had enough and all you want is to go to sleep and let your dreams sweep you away, everything in you wants to break down.
You need to be alone.
You need to be alone so you can finally be real.
And, of course, when you walk into the hotel room, there Oscar is, sitting by the window.
Just looking out of it.
"What are you doing?" you demand in slight confusion.
You see him look at you in the reflection of the glass. He doesn't even turn around.
Is this all I am now? Merely a reflection in the glass of the person I was to him?
"Looking out the window, and you?"
"That's all?"
He nods, before finally glancing back at you. Showing you his real, handsome face.
It's late, so late.
He just won his driver's championship, and all you want to do is fall apart.
Why isn't he more happy?
Probably just tired.
And here you are, with your nerve, saying, "Oscar, would you mind leaving?"
You see his eyes flash in confusion in the glass. Fear, even, maybe for just a second. He stands up and faces you, his hands going to your shoulders. "Leaving?"
"Just for... a bit."
"Why?" he demands.
"I need some alone time."
He stares, his eyes softening further, before murmuring, "Since when have you ever asked me for that? How many times have we been alone together?"
"Aren't I allowed some privacy, Oscar?"
"Isn't your whole life privacy, by now, Y/n?" It's not an accusation. It's a desperate question, that you have no answer to.
Because you don't want to say yes, but you can't say no. "Please, Osc..." you murmur, trying to keep it together. "I need this time."
"Darling..." he whispers, like a silent prayer.
Your stomach lurches. Why is he calling me that?
Doesn't he only talk like that when he needs me?
"Oscar, listen..."
"Please..." he whispers. "Let it go. At least for me. Don't you see this isn't good for you?"
"Oscar, I-" your voice cracks.
He sighs. "We don't have to talk. We don't have to lay together, or sit together, or be next to each other. We could be on completely opposite sides of the room as each other." He gulps, before adding, "Just let us be alone together. Like we used to always be, when it hurt, and we needed alone time, but we knew we'd both always be there when the other needed it. It's starting to feel so lonely out here without you, darling..." he stroke your cheek gently.
You gulp, fighting back tears.
"Take off those shoes, go put on your pajamas. Just relax, beautiful. Let your cover fall. I don't ever want to forget the you you are without it."
"Do you want me to cry?"
"Never."
"Then why-"
"Because I'd rather you cry if you need to than hold it in and let it rot the inside of you, love."
Love.
"That's the first time you've ever called me that..." you murmur as you slowly lean against the bed to slip off your shoes.
He smiles softly, which surprises you.
You quickly slip on pajamas, before crawling into bed, and murmuring, despite yourself, "Can you come over?"
And in seconds, Oscar's crawling into bed next to you, tucking the two of you in.
"Hold me."
"It's my pleasure," he responds softly, gently pulling you into his chest.
You lay there like that for a while, before whispering, your voice so weak, "Oh, God, Oscar... I'm so, so tired."
"I know you are, darling. I know." He kisses the tops of your head.
Your voice cracks a bit, and this time, you let the tear fall. "I just... I just felt like maybe I should've... been more like them. I'll admit it, I got jealous."
Oscar strokes your hair.
You swallow. More tears fall. "I just guess I felt like I wasn't good enough, but they all were."
"Good enough for what?"
You stare, the question lingering like a germ in the air. "For the media. For the fans. For every single person watching me every single race weekend."
He kisses your nose. "Pressure got to you. Did you ever feel like you weren't good enough for yourself?"
You swallow, shrugging. Nod a bit.
He sighs softly, nodding. Takes your hand and begins whispering, "I want you to know. You're worthy of every single kiss, every single hug, every single sigh, every single tear. You're worthy of every single star in the sky, every single drop in the ocean. You're worthy of laughter and sunshine and so, so much love. You're worthy of..." Oscar trails off, suddenly feeling an unexpected wave of emotion hit himself, before he gains his grip once more again and continues with, in merely a soft whisper, "You're worthy of all the joy and goodness in with world. And you'd know that if you knew how much joy and goodness you project into the world, without even trying, without even thinking about it." He swallows to keep his voice from cracking, and finishes with, "Please know, no matter what happens, or whatever anyone says, I'll always love you for who you are. I'll always be here to be your home. I want you for everything you are, and nothing that you feel you've ought to be. Because to me, you're perfect just the way you are. That is the kind of worth you have, and I wish you could see that, too."
The moment the last beautiful whisper of a word exits his mouth, you break down, fall into him, and cry. And he whispers about wiping away every single one of your tears, because you deserve none of the pain you're going through.
The fact that you've done all this, and brought it on yourself, and hurt him, and he stills says this.
Once your tears have subsided, Oscar smiles a bit, looking into your eyes like you're the most beautiful sunrise, or sparkling dew fresh in the morning, or the glimmer of the sun on the ocean, or any other beautiful thing that could fascinate even the coldest of people. And he whispers, wiping away the last of your stray tears, "Dress for no one but yourself, love. Be who you are. Because whatever you want to wear, you'll stun me. And I love you for exactly the person you are, nt the person you feel you ought to be. Whether you're in an evening gown with the most beautifully done makeup, or in your pajamas with tangled up hair, to me, you'll always, no matter what, be the most gorgeous, amazing, beautiful, perfect woman I have ever set my eyes upon."
Your breath catches in your throat. "Oscar, you..." You're utterly speechless.
He holds you close, and for the first time in months, you feel a certain peace envelop you.
You feel like you're home again.
Maybe all you needed was a good cry and the most perfect boyfriend any girl could ask for.
As your exhausted body gives itself away to slumber you hear Oscar murmur after gently kissing your scalp, "Can't wait to see you in my McLaren hat again, darling."
And you fall asleep with a smile on your face.

MAX DIDN’T EXPECT her to actually leave.
In his stubbornness, he hoped that he’d find her back in his apartment once he returned from work a week later, when her mind would clear up and the adrenaline of the breakup would be long gone. But when that didn’t happen, and he came back to an empty place, he slowly began to panic. On the inside, of course. Because Max is the kind of person who rarely ever displays his feelings out in the open, and when he does it, it’s usually his ruthless side that comes out. He would never admit in front of anyone that he has weaknesses. The only time he’s ever done it was in front of the mirror, in those mornings when everything became too heavy to carry for a pair of shoulders already weighed by the burdens of the past.
He did not expect her to leave.
Not after everything they’d said to each other, not after the way she’d touched his face the night she walked out, and the way her lips lingered on his cheek like a goodbye she didn’t want to make real. Not after she whispered that he knew where to find her. That she was still willing to give them a chance, but this time, they as a whole had a price. And he needed to cover it in its entirety.
When her absence has finally caught up to him, Max got angry.
Not at her, but at the hole she left behind. At himself for not begging her to stay, even though that goes against everything he is as a person. At the way grief still had its claws in his chest even when he thought he’d buried it deep enough to allow himself to love again.
She said she understood. She acted like she did for so long. But then she left. She promised she wasn’t asking for more than he could give, and then she still walked away when he couldn’t give it fast enough. It felt like betrayal to Max, twisted and misplaced, but real.
After that, he threw himself into work like he always did: training, simulation, back-to-back race weekends. Late nights at the gym, longer ones behind the wheel. But no matter how many laps he ran, no matter how fast he drove, he couldn’t outpace the noise inside his own head. At times, it felt as if it tried to deafen him completely. And sometimes, there were so many voices in there that they overlapped and he had the impression that he could go mad.
It got worse when doubts started creeping in.
What if he’d ruined something good once again?
What if she was right, and he never actually moved on, not from grief, not from guilt, not from his dead wife?
He couldn’t trust himself anymore. The same instincts that made him a four-time World Champion now betrayed him on track. He second-guessed overtakes, overcorrected in turns, and crashed into his rivals on purpose.
The paddock noticed it, so did the press. Max Verstappen didn’t make mistakes, until he did. And the worst part of all: he stopped caring.
His despair was subtle at first. It bled in during the long flights, in the lonely hotel rooms, and in the silence after a shitty race. He tried texting her a couple of times, but it was always short, dry, and empty. She responded kindly, as usual, but never let it go further. Though Max hated it, he respected that, because he respected her, even if he thought it was bullshit. All of it.
It wasn’t until one particularly sleepless night, many months after she left, that the loneliness finally did what the anger couldn’t: it made his mind quiet. It made him sit with himself and be brutally honest. Realistically, he realized that no trauma will ever completely heal. A shadow of guilt will always follow him, no matter who he ends up becoming, what he achieves in his career and who’s going to be there with him.
That night, Max stood in front of the mirror, the ring on his finger slightly sparkling in the bathroom light. It somehow looked dull, like it, too, got tired from being worn by a man who didn’t know how to let go. Only this time, he didn’t see his wife. Instead, he saw the woman who stayed even when he didn’t have the words to explain himself, the one who kissed him like she was pouring pieces of herself into the cracks of him, the one who left not to hurt him out of spite, but to save them both. Or at least try.
And he understood that the ring didn’t remind him of grief anymore. It reminded him of who managed to give it a whole another meaning. It reminded him of what he stood to lose if he didn’t start choosing life instead of loss. And just like that, still panicking on the inside, he figured a new way of feeling the pain and owning it without hurting so much.
Max’s fingers trembled, but he took it off. He took. The damn ring. Off.
And something about the silence cracked open the moment he did it. At first, it was a strange numbness, like his skin and limbs and even his thoughts didn’t belong to him. Then the trembling turned into tremors. His hands shook so badly that the ring slipped from his palm, clinking against the sink like a warning. He had a tiny impulse to put it back, but he didn’t. His breath hitched, chest rising in short bursts that couldn’t catch enough air. The walls of the room seemed to press in, tighter and tighter, so he gripped the edge of the sink until his knuckles turned white. His heart thudded violently between his lungs, and he could hear it.
Then his knees gave out, and he collapsed to the cold tile floor, curled onto his side, eyes wide and unfocused as his mind raced with fear — am I dying? Is this how it ends? All alone…
He didn’t call anyone. He didn’t move, because he couldn’t. He just lay there, whispering to himself that he deserved this. That maybe this was part of it: the punishment, the penance, the cost of finally letting go. But he’d chosen grief so long, it felt wrong to be free of it. And, ultimately, he ended up convincing himself it was better that way, but every time he looked at the empty space on his finger, he wondered how long she’d wait. If she was still waiting at all.
He couldn’t stand the thought of her saying no after that, so he never texted her again.

IT’S A RANDOM Tuesday when Max is in the pet aisle, squinting at a row of identical cat food cans, wearing an old Red Bull hoodie from the early 2010s. The hood is up, casting a shadow over his face, a subtle shield against the world.
He isn’t expecting anything. Maybe a fan or two who may recognize him. But not her. However, the second she walks through the automatic doors, pushing her cart slowly, head tilted like she’s scanning the shelves for something specific, he sees her. Her hair is a little shorter now. Her coat swings open as she walks, and she’s humming softly to herself, unaware.
Until she turns, and her eyes meet his. Time doesn’t stop, but it does slow, just enough for Max’s chest to go tight. And they both realize it at the same time: they’re going to have to choose. Quickly. A nod and a half-smile, play it off like strangers passing in the middle of something ordinary.
Or talk.
Max does it before she gets the chance to. He doesn’t even glance at the shelves again. His hand reaches out and grabs two random cans of cat food, the labels facing the wrong way, something he wouldn’t normally touch. But it’s not about the cat food anymore.
It’s about how she notices the way Max squeezes the cans in his hands, and how his left hand, in particular, molds around the circular container, making her heart stop for a beat.
“Your hand’s all naked,” her mouth talks without her permission the moment he gets close enough for him to hear her; the fact that it’s the first thing she tells him doesn’t come as a suprise for either of them.
Max smiles a little, the kind that doesn’t reach his eyes. “Uh, yeah,” he says quietly, looking down at it like he hadn’t realized it himself until now. “It’s been for a while.”
They stand there, hands full of domestic normalcy, bodies not quite knowing what to do next.
“Hi,” her lips curl slightly into something that isn’t quite a smile, but not quite neutral either.
“Hi,” he echoes, voice a little raspier than he’d like. “Didn’t expect to see you here,” adds Max, glancing around like maybe the store has changed since he last looked.
“Yeah, well,” she shrugs, looking anywhere but at him.
There’s too much unsaid between them to make small talk feel right. Too many memories that exist in kitchens and beds and mornings with whispers and kisses. And yet they try.
“You look good,” Max says, his eyes flicking up and down, unsure of where to land. “Shorter hair suits you.”
She nods. “Thanks. You look…,” her voice trails off, checking him out from head to toe in order to find something nice to connect with, but when she can’t do that, she chooses to be honest instead. “Tired.”
Max smiles, but looks defeated as he does. “Not sleeping much.”
“Work?”
He hesitates. “And everything else.”
They both look like they want to leave but can’t quite make their feet move. It feels like there’s too much air between them, and yet, too many things have already been said, cried out, and broken open like bones that never healed right. Max can feel it rising in his throat. It’s bitter and sweet all at once. The fucking guilt. The longing. It’s her, actually. Right here, in front of him again, after eleven months and three days of not seeing her. Of only surviving her through old texts and ghost limbs.
His fingers twitch around the cans.
She’s standing like she’s braced for impact, but her eyes finally land all over him: his face, the hoodie she actually wore a few times before when she was waiting for him to come back home, his hand, his left hand. His bare left hand.
“This is weird, right?” Max finally asks, his voice sounding like he hasn’t spoken a single word for weeks.
She lets out a sigh. “A little, yeah,” she agrees, nodding.
And still, neither of them moves.
“You know, I almost didn’t come in,” she admits, fingers curling tighter around her cart. “I was parked outside for, like, ten minutes just sitting there. Because I realized this is your neighborhood and I’d risk seeing you,” she adds quickly.
Max feels his heart racing again before he even understands it. His throat goes dry, and when he speaks, he sounds hurt. “You didn’t want to see me?”
She blinks, startled, like she hadn’t expected the question to come out that way. “No,” she breathes. “No, Max, that’s not what I meant.”
He holds her gaze, and this close, he can see the sheen of emotion swimming in her eyes. There’s no anger in there anymore. Just, maybe, a little ache.
“It’s nice to see you,” she says. “I did want to see you so badly that I almost turned the car around, because I wasn’t sure if I could handle it.”
Max’s chest caves inward, his brows drawn together like the weight of all those lost months just landed right between his ribs. “Well, I think you’re handling it very well,” he jokes, but she doesn’t laugh, which makes his smile fade a little, not knowing if he crossed a line he shouldn’t have.
She looks down for a moment, biting at her kower lip, then back up. “I think you do, too.”
They both go quiet again, surrounded by fluorescent lights and grocery store music and the quiet chatter of other people, but none of it registers. The world has narrowed down to just them in the shortest time, like it always did. Knowing someone so intimately does that to a space, no matter how big or small.
Max rubs the back of his neck, like he’s trying to release the tension lodged there. “Listen, I don’t want to do this here. In front of the cat food and the Goldfish treats.”
His words earn the smallest smile from her, just for a second. “And what is this, exactly?”
He stops, looking around in order to get his thoughts together. “If you’re not busy, I was about to order a pizza for dinner,” Max hesitates, then adds quickly, “I swear, I just want to talk. I just…” he runs a hand over his jaw. “I haven’t been able to say anything that matters in a long time, and I want to. I owe you.”
She swallows, wary. “You don’t owe me anything, Max. Not anymore.”
He shakes his head. “I owe you my time.”
He sees the way her brow furrows, confusion flickering across her face, and Max knows she doesn’t understand what he means by that. And he can’t quite tell her that he means all the months he spent with her while only giving her a fraction of himself, because the most part was still buried in grief, clinging to a past he couldn’t change. He means the smiles she gave him that he didn’t return fast enough, the quiet ways she showed up for him while he kept one foot in a world that no longer existed. He means every second he spent being afraid to choose them, and every moment he let that fear win. What he owes her is his precious time, the kind that’s undivided, intentional, and fully present.
The time he should’ve been spending loving her without hesitation. Without conditions.
The time he still hopes to give, if she’ll let him.

THE MOMENT HE turns the key in the lock and nudges the door open, the apartment comes alive with a flurry of soft meows and pattering paws. Jimmy is the first to appear, coming out from the hallway with the usual cheeky air, followed by Sassy, who practically chirps in recognition when she sees that her owner is not alone.
The girl barely has time to step out of her shoes before the cats are circling her feet, tails high, meowing as if they’ve been abandoned for weeks. They don’t hesitate, don’t even sniff to confirm, yet the purring starts instantly, the kind of sound they only made when she used to come home late and curl up with them on the couch. Both cats cling to her like she’s their mother, like home walked back through the door after years of waiting.
Max watches it all unfold, frozen, with the cans stacked on top of the other still in hand.
“Fuckin’ assholes,” he complains under his breath, shutting the door behind him. “The only reason I even left the apartment was because they wouldn’t shut up about being hungry. And now they won’t even look at me,” adds Max, a little irritated.
She looks up with a smirk and gently takes the cans from his hand. “Allow me,” she says with a mock bow, brushing past him on her way to the kitchen with the ease of someone who still remembers exactly where everything is.
Max leans against the wall, arms crossed, watching her open the cabinets to pull out the tiny cat dishes they once picked together at a pet store in Italy. Her movements are fluid, the muscle memory guiding her every gesture; the clink of the spoon against the dish, and the way she splits the food evenly, as if it still matters that Sassy used to pout when Jimmy got more.
The remembering. That’s what gets to him every single time. The way it all looks like she wasn’t away for months. The way his own pets remember her scent and presence — more than that, they crave it. And they’re not the only ones, he figures.
Eventually, Max leaves her to it and goes to order the food he promised, knowing that he will be ignored anyway, at least until the cats eat and get bored of playing. The pizza arrives just as she finishes washing her hands, and they settle on the couch like they’ve done a hundred times before, the box open between them, the cats finally dozing at their feet.
For a moment, the quiet sets peacefully around them and it almost feels like they never fell apart at all. Their legs don’t touch, but the distance isn’t as wide as it used to be. Between bites, their eyes meet, without causing unnecessary tension, just a bittersweet quiet wrapped in intimacy. He watches the way she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, and she catches the way he still wipes his fingers on his thighs, like always.
Finishing his second slice, Max finally decides to disturb the peace. “Thanks for giving them some attention,” he says, pointing at the cats that are now back in their donut beds. “They’ve been such jerks lately.”
She glances at the cats, her gaze softening. “You know they treat you like you treat them.”
He rolls his eyes, but the corners of his mouth lift. “I’ve been nothing but an endless fountain of joy around them since you left, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Her smile falters the second his sarcasm slips out. And suddenly, the guilt wraps around her ribs like a vice, because she had no idea just how lonely it must have been. She tried to imagine it a few times, sure, but the truth is always harsher.
“Back at the store,” she begins, a little hesitant, “You said it’s been a while since you took it off.”
Max takes a moment before he nods, not immediately meeting her gaze. “Yeah, I did.”
“Why didn’t you tell me when you… you know,” she says, gesturing at his hand. “I thought that was our agreement.”
He swallows, running his fingers over his jaw, which he often does when he’s struggling to think of the right thing to say. “And say what? Thank you for waiting, I’m ready to finally offer you more than the bare minimum?” he says in a sarcastic tone, shaded by a trace of anger. “You deserve better.”
She doesn’t speak right away. Just watches him with those eyes that always made him feel seen. Like she could read the gaps between his words, without needing anything else but him.
The girl shrugs. “That would’ve been a start,” she says casually, taking the pizza box and putting it on the coffee table in front of them.
Max almost flinches at the thought. It tastes so wrong in his mouth, because he doesn’t want to act as if the time they spent together was just a draft. He wants what they had and what they were. The laughter in the kitchen. Her voice humming in the bathroom. The weight of her body curling toward his in the middle of the night when she thought he was asleep. The way she used to look at him like he wasn’t broken beyond repair.
“I don’t want a start,” he insists. “I want what we left behind.”
Her brows lift slightly, her expression unreadable, but her lips part like she’s about to speak. He beats her to it.
“It’s been fucking awful,” the words come out unfiltered. “Missing you, I mean,” he explains, like the thought has been sitting on his brain for months, maybe since the second she walked out of his life. “Not just in passing. Every day.”
His hand moves without thinking, crossing a distance far greater than the space between them, and when his calloused fingers curl gently around hers, all those months of pain fade somewhere into a distant past. Her skin is just as he remembers, warm and soft like silk. The touch is tender, Max’s thumb brushing the back of her hand like he’s reminding himself that she’s real, and not just a figment of his twisted imagination.
He doesn’t want to go beyond the invisible line they’ve both drawn, but when she squeezes him gently, it’s more than a confirmation. It’s her equally strong desire to return to their own normalcy. And after that, it takes almost nothing, maybe just a look and the smallest shift in the air, and he pulls her in his lap.
Her legs straddle him, fitting there with maddening ease. Her hands wrap around the back of his neck, fingertips threading into his hair, playing with it absentmindedly like it’s second nature.
The sudden closeness forces him to breathe in sharply, inhaling her scent that fans across his lips.
“Max...” she whispers, her face tilting toward his, eyes dropping to his mouth as if kissing him is inevitable.
But he can’t have that. What good thing has ever come so easily in his life? Twice.
Max’s hand presses against her waist to push her away, and his head turns as a response. At that, she stills in his arms, eyes searching his face.
“Liefje?” she whispers again, hurt and confused.
He shakes his head, still avoiding to look at her. “I can’t.”
She frowns. “Why?”
Finally, Max’s eyes flick to hers as he swallows the lump in his throat. The blue in them is dark and faded, and it scares her a little. They’re glassy, full of things he’s never been good at saying out loud. “Because I don’t... I don’t deserve it,” he says, quiet like a confession passed through gritted teeth.
Her hands slide from his neck to either side of his face, forcing him to keep his gaze on her.
“Look at me,” she demands when he tries to look away again, but it sounds almost pleading. She can feel the way his muscles are tense beneath her, how hard he’s trying to stay composed. “You think I’d be here if I didn’t want to?” she asks.
His mouth opens, shuts, then opens again, “How could you possibly still want this?”
Her thumbs brush along his cheekbones, pressing closer, her nose brushing his. “Because you want this,” she replies simply. “I left because I thought you didn’t want us, and that hurt the most.”
Max flinches, “I did,” he nods, “Want us.”
“The ring on your finger told a different story at the time,” she smiles, a trace of sadness shadowing her face.
“I’m sorry,” it’s all he says.
She tilts his chin slightly, kissing the corner of his mouth, careful. She understands that, after all, this is their dynamic. She’ll always have to wait for him, one way or another. Do everything at Max’s pace. It may not be ideal, but it has worked in the past, when the tallest walls separated them.
He lets out a trembling breath, arms circling her waist to bring her closer.
“Please,” she whispers, “Let me kiss you.”
This time, his lips crash into hers with a desperate need. Her attempt was soft, but there’s nothing gentle in the way needs her. It’s heat and hunger and all the months of silence and aching compressed into one kiss. His fingers move to cup her face, and he groans against her mouth, finally letting go.
She shifts as the kiss deepens, slowing down until it becomes worshipful.
“I missed you,” he says again.
She smiles through the ache in her chest. “Yeah, I can tell.”
Her hips move unconsciously, but it’s enough for Max to catch her meaning. The girl slides forward and presses down right where he’s already hard beneath her. The friction hits hard between them, and they both still for a moment. Max breathes in through his teeth, and a silent gasp stutters out, all distance suddenly dissolved.
She traces down the curve of his neck, over his collarbones and lower, palms gliding across the fabric of his hoodie. It’s soft and worn, but it hides too much for her liking. So she hooks her fingers underneath it, pushing up, and Max doesn’t stop her. He lifts his arms, helps her peel it off, and the warmth of his skin underneath makes her breath catch in her throat. The muscles of his torso flex as he breathes, tight and lean, built by years of control and discipline.
But right now, he’s giving her none of that control. He just looks at her like he’s ready to rip his heart out and give it to her on a silver platter. With a smile on his face.
Her blouse is next, coming off in a smooth motion. And then, before she can say anything more, he shifts quickly underneath her. In a blink of an eye, he has her on her back, stretched out along the couch, his body poised above hers.
She barely has time to register the change in position before his mouth is back on hers, as possessive as it used to be, like the last kiss wasn’t nearly enough. Max’s lips trail down over her jaw and neck, leaving heat in his wake. Patient, he kisses along the edge of her bra, then he looks up at her. His pupils are blown wide, but there’s still that sliver of restraint behind them.
“Can I?” he asks, a tiny smile blooming in the corner of his mouth, because he already knows the answer.
She nods. “Yes.”
Swiftly, he unclasps her bra and slips it away, tossing it somewhere behind him. His hands slide down her sides as his mouth drops to her chest, breathing her in deeply. The first touch of his tongue on her nipple makes her inhale sharply, her hands flying to his back, gripping and squeezing. Max groans quietly against her skin when she arches up into him, and his hands weld themselves to her thighs to encourage her to wrap her legs around his waist. After that, he changes his position just slightly and grinds down into her, swallowing her whimpers with his mouth still latched onto her breast.
She closes her eyes, allowing herself to feel everything, all at once. His mouth moves from one nipple to the other, teasing, sucking, and she pulls him closer and closer by the shoulders, as if she can’t get enough of his weight. His presence. Him.
“Can you stay like this for a sec?” she asks in a trembling voice, the emotion evident in every word. She keeps him pressed down against her with her arms locked around his shoulders before Max can even process. “Just stay here, please.”
He lifts his head to search for her eyes, but doesn’t say anything. Then, he kisses between her breasts, and rests his forehead there, listening to her heartbeat decrease in intensity with each passing second. His weight is warm and secure around her, his breathing slowing, too. She brushes his hair back with one hand, and the other strokes his spine.
“I missed you, too,” she finally says. “So much it started making me sick.”
Max’s eyes flutter closed, but he’s content to just listen, offering her the space to speak her mind.
“I had to buy a weighted blanket,” she chuckles shyly. “I couldn’t sleep, either. My anxiety was so bad I felt like I was floating out of my skin.”
Max blinks, then slowly pushes up on his forearms to look at her fully. There’s concern etched into every inch of his face, and he sounds stern when he speaks again, “You never told me it got that bad.”
She shrugs, trying to brush it off. “Didn’t want to make you feel worse. You already blame yourself for everything else.”
His jaw tightens, fingers twitching against her ribs. “That’s for me to worry, right? You should’ve told me.”
With a small sigh, she shakes her head as if it doesn’t even matter anymore. “I’m telling you now.”
Her words settle into the air between them like a sudden change in gravity, and it makes Max still completely. It takes him a second to process what she’s said, and not just the meaning, but the weight of it. That she hurt too. That while he was spiraling in silence, buried in self-loathing and racing to outrun emotions he couldn’t face, she was also falling apart as quietly.
His forehead presses against hers, but this time, the tension in his shoulders give away the war he carries in his mind, the guilt and regret in his soul, the anger, and the fear that he might still mess this up. He chokes on a breath, the kind of harsh inhale you take before something breaks and can’t be stopped.
She can feel him slowly but surely detaching, so she doesn’t hesitate to bring him back to the present moment with her. She kisses him all over, not just his lips. A sweet series of soft, scattered kisses along his cheek, his temple, his nose. His shoulders. His collarbones. She kisses him as if that would cure him of all his guilt, insecurities and self-hatred.
Max lets out a broken laugh, unexpected yet warm, as she keeps going, clumsier now. “That’s how you used to kiss Sassy when you stepped on her paws,” he reminds her. “You didn’t break me, baby,” he assures her. “It’s not your fault.”
The words hang there, heavy with understanding, because he can see she feels guilty, as if his pain is somehow hers to fix. Even now. His heart cracks at the thought of her carrying that weight, but it also warms at her tenderness and the quiet way she’s trying to make everything stop hurting. For both of them.
He sighs. “Maybe we should just finish the food, hm?” Max offers, his tone laced with hesitation, trying to give her an out, without putting too much pressure.
She shakes her head instead, then stares at him for a second. While continuing to maintain eye contact, her hand moves down between them with purpose. The metallic sound of his zipper being undone slices through the air like a whip in an empty room, and Max’s body responds instantly, looking like he’s suddenly struggling to breathe, as she pushes his pants lower over his hips.
“I’m hungry for something else,” she says, smirking at him.
The last of their clothes disappear in a blur of heat and touch, the space between them closing until it’s completely gone, and not a speck of dust can seep in. Their bodies press together, skin on skin, making Max curse under his breath, his hands roaming her waist, thighs, and ribs, remembering the shape of her all over again. After taking the ring off, he convinced himself that being alone and deprived of her entirely was the new punishment. But now, he’s surprised to find out that no amount of penance could ever be worth losing her again.
She gasps when his lips catch her off guard, kissing her deeply, hand sliding south, slipping between silk folds already wet with want.
“Shit,” he whispers through gritted teeth, barely able to contain himself. “I forgot how soaked you get from a little nipple play.”
She moans faintly into his mouth, hips lifting with ease toward his touch. His fingers stroke through her slowly, savoring her sounds, while his middle finger presses in. Just the tip, to test her patience and give her all the time in the world to open up for him.
As if he’s under a spell, Max watches her face, completely transfixed. “I swear you’re trying to kill me,” he praises her deliriously, pushing his finger deeper. “You missed this, didn’t you?”
“Mhm,” she hums, her nails digging lightly into his back, leaving faint love scratches behind.
At that, he smiles a little smug, and starts pumping his finger with much purpose. He’s on a mission now, intending to relearn every twitch and tiny flinch, because for some reason, making her come like this has become his new life’s purpose. And the fact that she’s obscenely wet, encourages him to keep going, gliding his finger in effortlessly, the slick noises echoing between them like he’s already halfway inside her with his cock instead.
“I fucking missed it, too,” he admits, voice cracking at the way he feels her clenching around him. Every time his finger strokes against that soft, spongy spot inside, her thighs lock around his wrist like Max is her puppeteer, hips canting up, chasing more. “There it is,” he says with satisfaction.
Without pulling away, he eases in another finger, curling them with surgical precision, dragging against that same spot until she’s shaking. Her tiny gasps turns into broken moans, high and breathless, her palms squeezing his shoulders harder. Max starts scissoring them in the way he knows it’ll make her see stars, stretching her open, happy to watch her squirm and melt because of him.
“Want me to keep going until you can’t think straight?”
She tries to answer, but all that comes out is just another pathetic whimper. Her slick coats his knuckles, dripping down his palm, earning a low hum from Max while driving his fingers faster.
“So tight and desperate,” he says mostly to himself. “Let me see you,” his thumb finds her clit, rubbing delicious circles as his fingers keep fucking up into her, stretching her sweetly.
Her reaction is immediate: her whole body jerks, thighs quivering as her pussy fights to hold him in, harder than before.
“Max,” she tries to warn him in a shaky voice.
He doesn’t even hesitate. Instead, he pulls his fingers out and dives in on instinct, burying his face between her thighs like a man starved. His tongue replaces where his fingers had just been, fucking into her with messy, greedy strokes. Max grips her thighs, making sure to groan loudly into her, wanting her to hear exactly how much he’s enjoying this. She keens, hands flying to his hair as he eats her out with a kind of reckless devotion that leaves her gasping for air.
Her orgasm crashes over her with an unexpected loud cry. Her hips arch off the couch, body convulsing as she soaks his face, a warm flood dripping down his chin and onto the cushion beneath him. Max agrees satisfied, like he lives for this, licking her through it until she’s shuddering and whimpering and very much not thinking straight, trying to push him away from overstimulation.
He pulls back with a glossy mouth, chin dripping, and eyes blown wide. That clear blue has finally returned, contrasting beautifully against the bright pink of his flushed face. His hair is a mess, and he’s breathing hard like he just came. She wishes she could paint him like that, but she knows that no brush would ever do justice to the beauty she sees in him.
“My god, Max,” she laughs, still breathless, reaching up to pull him toward her. She wipes his chin with her palm, eyes half-lidded, before tugging him in for a kiss, tasting herself on his tongue. “You’re such a show-off.”
He smirks, resting his forehead to hers. “Well, I am a professional.”
“Oh yeah?” she teases, brushing her fingers through his hair. “Did they add that as part of your pre-race routine?”
Max shrugs with a deceptively serious expression on his face. “Helps with focus. And finger control.”
The girl chuckles. “You’re disgusting.”
“You’re perfect,” he replies quickly, leaning in to finish their kiss.
His lips are soft and plumped, and they give her the second she needs to breathe before the air shifts. Max’s hand cups her cheek, and when he looks at her, his voice drops, eyes filled with a tamed concern.
“You okay?” he asks, the kind of okay that means are you still with me?
It’s the care behind his voice that gets to her. The one that she only saw a couple of times in him, when Max really let her see the purest version of him. The version that’s not on any screen, nor the version that walks out the door everyday to go to work. This Max is too soft, afraid, and weak. Or so people would say if they’d know.
She finds it hard to speak, instead, she reaches down, fingers curling around his cock. She nudges the thick head through her folds, dragging it up and down in maddening passes, not letting him in, just coating it in the mess he made of her. It’s a sweet tease, a challenge, and a bit of revenge from her side, that gets the expected reaction out of him: Max whines, and his hips twitch in anticipation.
But before she can do it again, he bucks forward just enough to slip between her lips. Not inside. Just there. Nestled. Pressed. Bothering.
“Shit,” she gasps at the drag of his cock against her folds. Is too much already, yet not enough, her body betraying her before she can play it cool.
Max laughs at her failed attempt, dragging himself up her slit again, slow and sticky. “What do you think you’re doing, schatje?”
She moans, frustrated. “Nothing.”
He keeps going, rubbing himself through her wetness, teasing her entrance, but never pushing in. After all, she just showed him how to, didn’t she? It’s punishment for both of them, his cock is throbbing, coated in her, and every pass just winds them tighter.
“You feel that?” asks Max in a quiet whisper. “That’s how much you want me,” he continues, finally pushing in. The stretch is sweet, tight and wet and warm, and the moment he’s fully inside, everything goes still. He lets out a relieved sigh, his head dropping to her shoulder, “And this is how much I want you.”
Perfection in just the right amount. Being inside her like this shuts his brain off and, soon enough, the silence inside his skull becomes addictive.
The first thrust feels like coming home.
The second thrust brings all the memories back.
The third thrust makes her eyes roll, her hands clutching at his arms, hips trying to chase every retreat he makes.
Max has to grip her tighter to keep her in place, and gently pushes her thighs apart wider. He watches the way she spreads, how easily she welcomes him, and it lights something heavy in him, but also devastatingly tender. It pushes him to slide in again and again, deeper and deeper, and the sound she lets out has the power to knock the breath out of his lungs.
It’s not difficult to find their rhythm. That perfect pace that makes it feel less like fucking and more like a love language only they understand. Every push and pull is a new promise. Every moan, a certainty that they will keep those promises this time. As the pleasure builds, they understand it’s more than that. It’s healing. With every stroke and every breathless sound between them, they’re stitching something back together. Something they thorned and fractured because they didn’t know better, now is slowly mending, making them stronger than they’ve ever been.
Max fucks her like he’s never going to get another chance to be this whole again. Like this is the last time it’ll ever hurt, and the first time they’re finally allowed to live. Their bodies slap together, the sounds echoing like music against the walls; it’s hot, thirsty, a song made by them, just for them. He keeps her open, holding her thighs in place because he wants to see all of it. The way she takes him. The way she glistens for him. The way she gives herself so fully, without flinching. And if she can do that — if she can give him this —, then maybe he’s not broken beyond repair.
He fucks into her harder, hips slamming and claiming. It’s like his darkest side cracked open and poured out all the ugly through need, hope, love, all tangled in sweat and skin and moans and and and.
“Fuck, Max. Yes, you feel so good,” her praise makes him sob, hips jerking like he’s being praised for something holy.
He leans down to kiss her, but they’re both too far gone. It ends up being just open mouths, shared breath, moans between lips that can’t quite meet, not with how their bodies are still colliding, over and over.
“Mine,” Max spits out breathless, as he feels her start to tighten around his cock, fluttering repeatedly like her body is begging to fall apart with him.
Her hands curl around his biceps in order to be able to meet his thrusts halfway, nails digging in. “All yours,” she wails.
He shifts her legs higher around his waist, his hand sliding beneath her knee to angle her just right, and when he thrusts again, her whole body jolts. “Right there?” he asks, watching her eyes closing shut, her mouth falling open. “Ja, that’s it. That’s how my baby needs it.”
Her entire body shakes with pleasure, panting with every thrust as he drives into her with a need that’s no longer just physical. It’s every moment he missed her, every second he hated himself for letting her walk away, instead of ripping that ring off his hand, finger and all.
Max’s voice breaks against her skin, “You have any idea what you did to me for eleven months?”
She nods, arms wrapping around his neck.
“Of course you do,” Max smiles into her neck, maintaining the pace, sweat dripping from his brow as her walls spasm around him, pulling him deeper. “You know I jerked off to the thought of you every night,” he continues, the confession nearly unraveling him. “Couldn’t touch anyone else because your pretty face was everywhere I looked.”
Her fingers slide into his hair, pulling gently. “My good boy,” she purrs, and the sound he makes in response is feral, like it strips him down to his most basic instinct.
Max cries out, thrusts faltering for a second before he slams into her harder. “Say that again,” he demands in a pleading voice.
“You’re my good boy,” she whispers, then kisses his cheek, smiling as he loses himself a little more. “You always were.”
The words wreck him. He breathes wetly into her neck, almost embarrassed by how much he needs to hear it, and how much he actually craves being her good boy. Beneath his though exterior, there’s always been a constant need to belong to someone entirely. Not out of weakness, but out of a desire to be seen and chosen. To be loved, treasured, and protected like he mattered. Because as a kid, those things came rarely, if ever. And though Max learned to survive without them, part of him never stopped longing for that kind of love. The kind he once found and lost, the kind he almost recklessly pushed away. The kind she gave him, without asking for anything but his love in return.
“I didn’t let anyone else touch me, either,” she continues, breathless but determined to let him know, her fingers now tracing down his spine. “Told every guy that hit on me I had a boyfriend waiting for me at home. Did I lie, Maxie?”
He moans louder, his body surging forward like something inside him just snapped. His thrusts grow rougher, driven by the need to prove her right. To remind her that she is, indeed, his, and no one else can ever make her feel this way.
“No,” replies Max. “You’re mine,” he pants, “My little kitten, ja?”
She laughs, half-sob, half-moan, body shaking as she clings to him.
Somehow, his lips find her breast again, latching onto her nipple like it’s instinct. He sucks on it a little rough, making her head bury further into the couch cushion with a soft whimper. She’s obsessed with The Feel of Max — his weight, the way he pushes into her and how his skin presses into hers, the sound of his breath against her chest. Every cell in her body burns for him, a deep fire that’s been waiting to reignite since the moment she did one of the hardest things: removing herself from her heart, because she had to choose herself for once.
His left hand reaches for hers blindly, pulling her out of the dreamy state she’s fell into. Max threads their fingers together and pins them above her head against the cushions. Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she clutches his hand tighter, her stomach flipping with emotion. Her eyes fly open, not from surprise but from the intensity of it and how light it is. It’s impossible not to feel the difference; that tiny missing weight that used to sit there like a wall between them.
Max notices the shift in how she exhales, in the way her body clings to his. He doesn’t ask, but he knows.
“I see you,” he says. “I fucking see you, baby.”
She sobs out a sigh, something between a moan and an overwhelmed yes.
“You feel so good. So good, my love,” repeats Max again and again, like he can’t say it enough. “I’m never letting anything come between us, I swear.”
His honesty is poured into every thrust, every kiss against her jaw, her mouth, her neck and shoulder. Everything she needed to hear, he’s saying now, as if he finally realizes that she’s been waiting. And he knows she believes him. He feels it. Feels it in the way her walls flutter around his length faster, needier. Sees how her hips lift to meet his and how her chest expandes rapidly.
Her stomach coils tight, pleasure rising sharp inside her, “Max, if you don’t shut up,” she cries, “I’m gonna fucking come all ov—”
He laughs softly against her lips, silencing her, but he doesn’t stop. “Make a mess for me then,” he encourages her, thumb brushing her cheek. “I’ve got you.”
He does. He always did.
With Max’s name on her tongue, his hand in hers, and every part of her clinging to him like gravity isn’t ever going to be enough again, she lets go. Her climax sends him spiraling, soaking everything, from the couch to his thighs and cock, with the kind of release that leaves no question how much she needed him. He wraps one arm around her waist in order to keep himself present as he shoves in deep one last time and stills, body shaking.
“Fuuuck,” Max chokes, forehead falling to her collarbone.
His cock throbs as he empties himself into her, her body welcoming every drop from him. His heart is hammering against her ribs, and he needs to breathe her in a few times before lifting his head, eyes glazed as they drop to where their bodies are still connected.
The sight nearly makes him come again.
Her thighs are trembling, spread wide, their slick mixed with his cum, smeared across her skin and his cock and the ruined couch. It’s absolute chaos, and he’s never seen anything more beautiful.
Satisfied, he collapses onto her fully, letting his weight sink into her just like he knows she needs. The girl sighs, breath tickling his temple, her hands finding his arms, scratching soft patterns along his skin. Goosebumps rise in waves, but Max doesn’t move. He just melts into her, letting her touch soothe him.
Her body acts before her brain has time to process. Gently, she lifts his hand and presses her lips to each knuckle. One by one. Then soft pad beneath his thumb. His palm, and the faint scar across it. She remembers how he caught the knife by the blade that night, and all the blood that spilled into the sink.
“Come home,” he whispers, voice cracking from the effort of saying it aloud. “Please.”
When there’s no answer, Max’s hands grip her waist, but he can’t find the strength to get up and look at her.
“Please,” he repeats. “I want to cook for you. Fight with you over stupid shit. Watch you fall asleep on this couch again. Just… let me love you right, baby.”
She closes her eyes, breathing in deeply. Max’s scent clings to her skin, to her hair, to the air around them, and that mix of sweat and sex drives her insane. It’s in the crook of her neck, on the inside of her thighs, behind her knees, soaked into her very inhale and exhale. It’s impossible to tell where she ends and he begins.
“What did you do with the ring?”
Max stills. Not the soft kind of stillness that comes from rest after sex, but the rigid kind, where his muscles lock and his breath stops short, like her words caught him mid-step somewhere deep inside himself. And unfortunately, she feels it in the way his touch pauses, not pulling away, but no longer moving forward either.
Her heart sinks into her stomach.
She hadn’t meant it to feel like an ambush, or a test she didn’t even want the answer to in the first place. But the silence stretches just long enough that fear creeps in. And her mind is relentless, thoughts flying around, mean and uninvited: It still means something to him. Maybe more than you ever will.
But then Max’s voice cuts through all that, pushing all the dark clouds aside.
“I gave it back to her,” he says. “Took it to her grave and—”
“I’m sorry,” she cuts him off, fighting the tears in her eyes. She reaches to cradles his face in her hand, thumb sweeping gently across his cheek. His skin is warm beneath her touch, his stubble coarse. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t—”
It’s his turn to interrupt her this time. “It’s okay,” Max assures her. “You were right. I needed to let it go if I wanted to be here. With you. It’s just… I am sorry it took so long.”
“No,” the girl shakes her head. “We can’t get mad at time for doing its thing,” she says gently.
Max’s jaw clenches. He doesn’t realize how badly he needed to hear that until it lands in him, like puzzle pieces falling into place. His eyes drift, settling on the digital clock glowing faintly on the wall. At the same time yesterday, he was lying in a cold bed, silence drilling through his ears louder than anything else. Swallowed whole by a grief so dark it didn’t even feel like sadness anymore. It was just a big hole of nothing.
A day later, he’s pressed against her, inside her, held by her. Breathing the same air as her.
Even though she didn’t say yes yet, even though he still has troubles sleeping, he’s content with the fact that the clock has reset itself for him. And for the first time since he got that call, he’s at peace.

Toto’s Guard Dog – Part 5
Tumblr media
Part 1 Parte 2 Part 3 Part 4
Word count: 636
Pairing: Toto Wolff x reader
Summary: Y/n finally kisses Toto, but when Christian Horner catches them and starts running his mouth, she unleashes hell.
________________________________________________________
Y/n had Toto Wolff right where she wanted him.
For weeks, he’d been smirking, teasing, playing his little power games. But now? Now she was in control.
And Toto hated it.
Well, hated might be the wrong word.
Because every time she leaned in just a little too close—every time she touched his tie, ran her fingers down his arm, or murmured something suggestive just for him—his restraint cracked just a little more.
She was winning.
Until, of course, he decided to ruin her life.
It happened in the Mercedes motorhome.
The paddock had been hot, sticky, exhausting. Y/n had been up since sunrise, running around, dealing with logistics, making fun of Horner three times before breakfast—the usual.
By the time she made it back to the hospitality lounge, she was done.
Toto, of course, looked perfectly fine. No sweat, no exhaustion—just standing there in his crisp white shirt, sleeves rolled up, arms crossed, watching her like he knew things.
She scowled. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
His smirk deepened. “Like what?”
“Like you’re thinking.”
Toto chuckled, stepping closer—too close, really. “I was just wondering…” He tilted his head. “How far are you willing to push this, schatzi?”
Her breath caught. “Push what?”
Toto leaned in, so close she could feel his breath. “This game of yours.”
For the first time in her life, Y/n was speechless.
And Toto?
Toto knew it.
He chuckled, so smug, and started to pull away.
Absolutely not.
Before he could move, Y/n grabbed his collar and kissed him.
Hard.
It wasn’t sweet. It wasn’t slow. It was a collision—weeks of tension snapping like a rubber band, lips crashing, hands tangling in fabric and hair.
Toto made a sound deep in his throat—half surprise, half something much darker—and then his arms were around her, one hand gripping her waist, the other cupping her face as he devoured her.
God, he kissed like he did everything else—completely, overwhelmingly, like he owned her.
Y/n felt dizzy. Drunk. Gone.
And then—
“Ohhhhhh, well isn’t this adorable?”
Y/n and Toto ripped apart.
And there, standing in the doorway, looking way too smug—
Was Christian Horner.
Y/n was going to jail.
She could already see the headlines: Mercedes Strategist Murders Red Bull Team Principal in Broad Daylight.
Horner was grinning. “I knew there was something going on with you two.” He wagged a finger between them. “You know, Toto, for all your talk about professionalism, this seems very—”
“Get out.” Y/n’s voice was deadly.
Horner ignored her. “Honestly, this explains so much. The guard dog routine? The constant defending?” He smirked. “Tell me, Y/n, is it loyalty or are you just whipped?”
Toto tensed.
Y/n saw red.
“Oh, that’s rich,” she snapped. “You want to talk about being whipped? You’re the one whose wife has to publicly defend you every other week because you can’t keep your mouth shut.”
Horner’s smirk faltered.
Y/n wasn’t done.
“You have the audacity to call me Toto’s guard dog when you’re literally running around begging for scraps of validation from a team that doesn’t even like you? How embarrassing.” She took a step closer. “You think I’m obsessed with him? Sweetheart, you’re obsessed with beating him. And you never will.”
Horner opened his mouth—then shut it.
And for the first time ever, Christian Horner had nothing to say.
Y/n smiled sweetly. “Now. Get out.”
Horner turned on his heel and left.
The second the door shut, Toto let out a long whistle. “Mein Gott.”
Y/n turned to him, still fuming. “I hate him.”
Toto grinned. “I know.”
She crossed her arms. “I—”
Before she could finish, Toto grabbed her face and kissed her again.
Hard.
Possessive.
Like he owned her.
Like he was saying, Mine.
And Y/n?
She kissed him back.

if you expect a driver to be world champion material (ruthless, ravenously ambitious, selfish, psychologically manipulative, killer instinct, able to be cold hearted to hypothermic extremes, competitive to the point of aggression, values winning more than anything and anyone in their lives) and also be a completely likeable person that is entirely a you problem
