This was the a collage one that i started working. I instantly wasn’t really feeling it so i abandon it. But i thought it may be good just to add  to show another approach to things. It was gonna be a collage about me but i think rerouting to go with the jar was the better idea. Which in itself was also a rerouting because my photoshop crashed and not working. Otherwise i would of done some photomanatage.

This is the process work of one of my illustrations that i forgot to put it up on here. The bottom part is the analogy part which has been done using black indian inks and the top one is the photograph that i was using as reference to do this illustration.

interesting photo-real like illustration, nice repetition, nice bright colours, great use of mixed media and lighting. Hand-drawn working really well.

Think contining on i will definitly focus on doing vector illstration as that seems to be what was responded more postivaly too. As i thought the first on last where the better one. So the plan is too continue on with the bright fun colours of first illstration and then in the style of the the last. Im not sure if i will turn it into type again as i dont know how well it comes across. But i will continue on with vector realistic with working on lighting too.

These are my first two page I have mostly done for the assessment. They are not all the way there but they give a good idea of layout and i have tried to balance it so the side descriptions match the astheic of the illatration but have keeped they type faces the same to create unit across the pages

these are just some more notes but I though that i would post them. They show a bit more into my own process of making which to be completey honest is a bunch of planning and then making one or two different versions. Which my type as image one i dont think there will be two many iterations fully made as i have been mainly doing plans like this for it. Orignally i was going to do it anology but i think i will switch to digtal as it is easier.

This is one of my illstration i may mix it up a bit. But its a type as a image. I love this piece. Its meant to show as still life with pistically saying still life.

After deciding to switch to the orignally compostion again, i tried it out with people. As much as it is a cool image i dont think it quite convays what i want. So i think I might still to the first one and this might be a prefect example where i should proply stop.

This is a link to an illstrator on instgram. I was sent this page the other day and fell in love with the illstrations and was think about taking the same idea they use with there letter form and changing it to make it apart of this illstartion formative.

This was my iteration of the soapy vector image. This compostion didnt work out as good as i would of hoped but that alright. It did give me another cahnce to do some more soap drawing which was fun. This might be a matter of playing with it a bit more but i personally think in terms of compostion and flow of the illstration that the first idtion might be the one to go with but will try out my other idea berore committing.

This is a contiation of my one soap image. So today we found out that the theme for this progect is still life, which I was very glad to hear as still life is one of my areas to work in with illstration and just so happens to be what most of my old painting where. I was also quite glad as it ment that i was able to use the soap! I love the soap illstration, cant tell you why but i do. I think its because the style is a bit of a remanist one for me. 

This illstration inparticlur is one i thinking of using for the finial booklet. There is one or two more testers of this image i would like to try. Would like to try add some vector people to see how that goes and then to try it as the soap are at different angles.         With this illstration i decide to repeat the image to create a better compostion, which worked out so well. This was one of the ideas that was suggested during the feedback session which was a fanatic idea.

This is a couple illstration that i was working under the theme of connection. In which I wanted to look at the night sky which is just an intersting thing. The bottom image is what i first started looking at but there was something that wasnt sitting quite right and i could work it out. So I started looking at it in a different which is when i started to really focus in on the sky. This is how i got to the top image. However with this I was still facing problem like when i layering darker colours it was going a bit funny. With that i decide to leave it like this for now and was thinking it might be a something i might come back to later. But will see, just need to find a better approch

This is a bar of soap. Its a vector image that I did on illstrator. I was looking back on the face mask idea and was thing it was a fun topic but it wasnt quite working so i was thinking about the in which i could play with similar ideas to create and image. This is when i started thinking about doing a block of soap and switching it from collage to vector (which is a more familiar techinque for me). This was such a cool idea and the bright popy colour are so fun and are very different to what i have been doing more recently. This illstration is in portrait but could easily be changed into a portait image in which i could use later on down the road

I came up with this idea on a collage piece the other day and i have just started to work on it so i want to show my thinking a little. I have just been looking into doing a connection theme. And i made this strangle realisation that pretty much that im 98% sure that each generation of my family has faced a pandemic or edpiemic in one way or another. I really wanted to bring the idea of the face mask into as that is the way we live at the moment. So this is a few ways i cut up and started to play around and work in composition. I am going to take this to digital and do drawing most likely online and do some of different gerneration style or something havent decided yet but its a start.

So these are just some planning work of some image i would like to do. So have have some more ideas on collages and type as image. I am working across to themes in this is connection and celebration. This is because it was something David mention in class which is that type as image is about breaking down the words and celebrating the letterform. Which is something i would like to do, as i just thought that it was partially interesting point
