Personal thoughts (and ramblings) about Hans and “redemption”.
[Writing this because of a post another user made about this topic. Didn’t want to reply to OP directly with such a long rant because I end up talking about other stuff too and going off-track]
Personally, I like and fully accept (and love) the canon material we got for the character, the fact he did what he did on the first movie, the fact he turned out to have evil/selfish intentions all along and from the beginning... But because I feel and interpret him as a rather complex character ("more human-like" or “morally gray”, someone who can consciously and willingly choose to do good and real good, but also do bad and real bad), I still think he’s capable of getting a hypothetical "moral evolution/change" that could push him to –at least– recognize and admit his wrongdoings towards the sisters (wrongdoings that were not "simple mistakes" at all, since they were deliberate and conscious selfish actions).
Do I think he could've had a rough and sad upbringing? Yeah, absolutely, but I still think he chose to be selfish and did what he did for his own personal gain (which is what I think makes his character interesting), even if his past could "explain" and/or throw some light into why he chose this path, he knowingly still chose to do bad.
I think Hans is not the type of villain that has his core completely rotten and Evil™️ like, let's say Mother Gothel, who was totally selfish with her actions and you could tell she was happy and more than okay being that way, she couldn’t have changed no matter what. I think he falls in the middle of being like Ernesto de la Cruz –another selfish villain who did horrible stuff for his own benefit, but at the same time, also had his moments of doing good/being nice for “no reason at all” (like when he saved Miguel from drowning because, even if he did that to show off to everyone, he still acted immediately and did the right thing, although that doesn't turn him into a good person either or erases what he did to Hector and Miguel’s family, of course)– and maybe like a professor Robert Callaghan/Yokai type of villain, who also was completely selfish no matter how hurt he was or what "reasons" he though he had for doing what he did, but it’s canon that in the end he deeply regreted the pain he caused and recognizes his fault in Tadashi's death, apologizing sincerely to Hiro on the TV show (something that was done well because Hiro didn’t/couldn’t forgive him, which is something I’ll talk about later).
The only difference between Hans and these two villains is that, luckily for Hans, his plan backfired at last moment and he didn't end up murdering anyone like the other two (all thanks to Anna's sacrifice, who in some way not only saved Elsa, but also saved him from doing something like that). He has some kind of “second chance in life” to do better or reflect thanks to that (or thanks to poor Anna, to be more precise).
As many people have already pointed out about Frozen, the franchise never was about the simplistic “Good vs Evil” trope, the movie plays with the complexity of things and people, and I think that it’s fair to apply this fact about everything and everyone that made “Frozen” Frozen (including Hans). Don't know if that could count as a redemption arc in itself, but as I mentioned first, I like the idea of him going through a mentality change after reflecting (like Callaghan), even if that change doesn't grant him the sister's forgiveness in the end (which is totally fair and would make total sense).
[I'll go on a tangent here, but I'd like to get out my point of view on forgiveness]
To me forgiveness isn't something you ask for, but something you could be given to (or not) after apologizing. The people holding that power over their aggressor/abuser/bully (etc.) are not obliged to give it to them no matter the apologies they get from the person who caused them harm (and let’s be honest, I don't think anyone can easily forgive attempted/almost murder of a loved one, manipulation, lying, and all the stuff Hans willingly did to the sisters, and like I mentioned above, it was well executed with Hiro and Callaghan, it feels real and completely understandable). Apologizing is key for closure (in some cases/sometimes for the victim, but always for the perpetrator), and if you apologize to someone you’ve hurt, you do it because you’ve learnt and truly feel sorry for what you did, you do not expect absolutely anything in return, not even forgiveness, you're just sorry for what you did, that should be more than enough for you (but maybe not for the victim/s, and that's still okay and completely fair). To truly apologize you need to reflect, understand, and be willing to learn and change.
Personally, I don't usually agree with a lot of people’s ideas of redemption for Hans (after being in the fandom for years) because they usually either involve "unrelated heroic acts" that immediately grant him forgiveness (and I don't agree with that), or it involves some kind of romantic shipping that helps him "realize" what he did was wrong instead of being him the one who does the work (and personally and as someone who’s not into shipping, I'm really not into that either, specially because that shipping usually involves the people he hurt and that’s not my cup of tea, although I respect if anyone is into enemies to lovers, not trying to shame anyone here).
My main problem with this kind of redemption arcs is that they focus on the forgiveness part, making the victim/s the ones doing the work (as if Anna and Elsa owed him that or anything at all), instead of focusing on Hans’ accountability. An unrelated “New Good” doesn’t make a “Past Bad” go away. A new good action does not compensate a totally unrelated bad action done before, apologies and accountability can.
The important part of a redemption and the point/"lesson" of this trope should be the wrongdoer recognizing and feeling sincere shame for what they've done to their victim/s, the willingness to do better from now on and, at the very least (and hopefully) to apologize without expecting forgiveness or anything in return.
A story that calls itself "redemption arc" and only pushes the message of "we should learn to forgive" isn't a redemption arc, it's just a story that puts the moral responsibility on the victim/s while the aggressor doesn't learn anything (and simply gets the happy ending without putting any of the necessary effort).

I know your requests are not open. But this is for when they DO open. Sorry if this is not aloud and if it isn’t then pls do let me know so I do not make any mistakes further.
What about a collector x reader (platonic ofc) but the reader is one of the archivists who’s trying to mend things with the collector?
Mh...fine, just bc A- i have a Soft spot for Toh and SPECIFIC the Collector and B- i think i have a concept for this.
(but btw,GUYS, THE REQUESTS ARE CLOSED, DO NOT REQUEST MORE WHILE THEY ARE CLOSED, PLEASE AND THANK YOU)
I think it depends a lot on whether Collie got along with this Archivist!Reader before the "incident" or whether he is willing to make amends with them. Obviously he wouldn't be willing to fix things with his sibilings who sent him to Earth just to get rid of him, but with Archivist! reader, there may be possibilities.
First of all, what could have been their dynamic with Collie? maybe something similar to Blue Diamond from Steven Universe and Pink Diamond (Collector), but way healthier, I mean, Archivist!reader didn't really have much time for The Collector but they tried to do what they could to keep him happy and entertained.
Maybe they were the ones who read to Collie before bed😭 and that's why he got into the habit of sleeping with a story from the book we see in the special. Perhaps even this Archivist!reader has taught The Collector how to use the spell to turn living beings into puppets (although for another purpose, of course). in general being a figure, although somewhat absent, well-intentioned compared to his other sibilings.
However, one day Collie simply... disappears and Archivist! reader does not know what happened, but as soon as they learns about his interaction with the titans and the power they have, they becomes terrified for the child's safety. so it probably helps to a greater or lesser extent in its disappearance.
imagine their reaction when The Collector simply disappeared/was trapped ☠️ similar to Blue Diamond, Archivist! reader sinks into a great depression for Thousands of Years, mourning the loss of their younger brother.
for the events of the series the other archivists are tired of Archivist reader's sad and poor performance since the incident, so they tell them to go to earth for a while to "get some fresh air" in the hope that they will change their attitude a little.
but surprise surprise, not only when wandering around the planet Archivist! reader realizes how much the world has changed (the witches, the near destruction of the world, A TITAN IS STILL ALIVE) but The Collector IS BACK.
I like to believe that Collie knows when his siblings are around, so when Archivist! reader arrives on Earth he somehow feels that he has to go and/or starts looking for them, which could lead to a pretty nice reunion and even Something sentimental, since we come, Archivist! Reader thought he would never see his little brother again.
although The Collector definitely has many doubts that he wants answered in order to forgive his favorite brother. Although I think he himself could realize that they didn't really participate in his disastrous trip to Earth, it doesn't mean that Collie didn't have fights with them. mainly because of the titans issue.
Archivist!reader may have a difficult time accepting his fault in that matter, but more than anything because his head has been quite battered by his other brothers and because unlike Collie they have not gone through a process where they understand the importance of mortality, Surprisingly, The Collector will have to be the one to guide them this time.
Collie really wants his brother to come to his senses and see the damage they did, for them to fix it together, for things to be like before but better! Even if he is partly angry with them for the incident, he still loves them by having good memories with them.
Let's say Archivist!reader comes to his senses (less traumatic than Collector, but he does it) and accepts not only the bad things he did, but REALLY tries to fix the damage he did to the Boiling Isles. I don't think to the point of fighting with the other Archivists, but he would definitely separate himself from them.
in that case, I can definitely see Collector not only forgiving them, but also welcoming them back into the archives, in the end they both have what they needed in the first place, Archivist! reader to a new point of view of things, beyond of what they can "file" and Collie has his brother :3
I can see Archivist!reader much more present not only in Collie's life in general, but also in his games, now that they are not busy, they can play whatever he wants! They wants to make up for all the lost time, although they doesn't object to just catch up while Collie show them the islands.
Imagine that Archivist!reader collapses when they tell Collector a bedtime story again after so long 😭 since they are so happy to have him again after so many years of silence (even Collie could get sentimental too) .
definitely Archivist!reader becomes quite overprotective of their little brother, almost to the point of a helicopter parent. They stop when they realize they're overstepping their boundaries, but the trauma of The Collector's disappearance is still fresh, so he can't really be that upset (although the subsequent meetings with King are definitely a bit weird).
In general, I think they could go back to being the sibilings they were before but even better, after all now they have all the time in the world to make up for what they lost.
Shares, reblogs and comments are very welcome!
again, PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR ANY MORE REQUESTS WHILE THEY ARE CLOSED, if you want a request, DO IT WHEN THEY ARE OPEN PLEASE. This is for a mere matter of MY COMFORT, thank you.

Assuming that Michael is the player for Fnaf 1/2/3/5/6 (I have no idea what's going on w/4), I doubt there is any way that the spirits (including afton kids & William here btw) knew who they were trying kill was.
So, the animatronics are old and kinda crappy right? So the missing kids wouldn't have the best vision, and (if I recall correctly) Michael looks a lot like William. Plus, we know they attacked anyone with a security uniform (rip phone guy), so they definitely didn't know. I subscribe to the headcanon that they were affected by possible murder machine programming in the animatronics from William, increasing the likelihood that they had 0 idea what they were doing, but I don't know any proof for this, so disregard it, this theory doesn't need it.
Aftons are tricker. Based on how Elizabeth talks about William, I don't think her or CC knew about how fucked up William was.
Next CC. First off, "It's me." Which works if you think he knows Michael is Michael, but it works just as well if CC thinks Michael is William. Again, I have my doubts he knew how messed up William was, but he definitely knew how much Michael was - at least Michael as Foxy bro. I do believe CC said, "It's me" with no ill intent. Whether or not it was meant for Michael depends on how forgiving you think CC is. Irregardless of how forgiving CC is, he is still affected by bad robot eyes and falls into the same hole as the missing kids.
Before moving on to William, I want to touch on Michael. I don't think he knows that Elizabeth, CC, & the missing kids think he's William. From what I understand of SL, Elizabeth does talk like she knows the player. As mentioned above, SL is not a game I have learned a lot about, nor have I learned about Eilzabeth. I said I didn't think "It's me" was said with anger/hatred, but I do believe Michael interpreted it that way. He had been fending off murderous animatronics all night, and another one just showed up in his office. What else is he gonna think? I don't know if Michael knew that CC was haunting the Golden Freddy costume, but if he did, why would he think his brother would forgive the person who killed him? As for the missing kids, he knew they were attacking security guards (at least after a point), I doubt he thought they knew how he was.
I wanted to touch on Michael before William because this is a special case. I still doubt that William knew the security guard was Michael. His eyes have to be total crap, and (if I recall correctly) he can talk, so why wouldn't he talk to his son? Why would he be trying to kill him? Instead of trying to control him, find out what's happened since he was gone, etc. That's the same. However, I think Michael knows William doesn't know who he is. And wants it like that. Michael likely figured out that William is treating him as a rando. It's not hard to put together, but why wouldn't Michael say anything? Counterpoint, WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE? He knows what William has done, and he's there to burn everything down with William inside.
I am technically in my 2nd fnaf phase, but I've only really ever seen gameplay of SB & Ruin, and that's from speedrunners. I got this far bc of game theory binge watching. Fnaf 4s lore is too confusing for me to touch, I think it doesn't matter, maybe as motivation? Eh, no idea. 6 is more of the same, up till Henry's speech everyone assumes Mike's (oh fuck. Mike has a nickname. I'm a dumbass, forgive me) some rando, Henry speech alerts them their wrong, but they burn before figuring it out.
Edit: According to AO3 tags, I misspelled Mike's name. Guess I should fix that quickly. (I can't fix the misspelling in the tags here, though.) I also fixed a mistake with Elizabeth's name at one point. Elizabeth was a typo, I have no idea how I ended up spelling Mike's name wrong. (I'm American seriously, how did I do that?)

ASGARD VS VANAHEIM FASHION
(just in my headcanon)
*just woman fashion bcs the men fashion is just a hot mess.. Even more if possible
So let me talk about bullshit, because I already thought about this too much and I want my followers know what I talk about when I say that Sigyns fashion stand out because she refuses to change her clothing style.
(so following some rambles from a fashion student)
First let us talk about asgard fashion.
From ragnarok we can pretty good assume that most of the nobles wear loose robes out of lightweight fabrics, no much structures, more Accessoires to bring it to fit. I guess we could call it some Greek influence mixed with star wars if it makes sense. Especially the loose capes the most of the people wear remind us of that. I guess frigga is the exception because she is the queen and in my headcanon she's from vanaheim.. So it's OK to bring some fashion from her home country with her. In history the queen was always a role model for fashion but the asgardian doesnt seem to care. Sif is also an exception because she's a warrior.
In sight of underwear, I don't think the woman don't seem to wear something special if at all.
I think it's OK for woman to wear trousers because Noone seem to bother that sif is doing so I think it's appropriate for a woman to fight and have armor and can also pair it with her dress if there is a need to.
So let us go on to Vanaheim fashion. And this is everything my headcanon.
In short, structured tops and flowy skirts, showing legs or arms.
Vanaheim is said to have elven blood, good with magic and close to nature.
I imagined that the climate is much warmer than asgard and so it's usual to show more skin than in asgard. Funnily Sigyn thinks That the woman in asgard are way too sexy dressed because they don't wear anything under their robes while her dresses are heavily boned or she also wears stays under her dresses, while on other hand the asgardIan ladies thinks she is much too inappropriate with her deep cutouts and showing too much skin.
While asgardian wear heavier silk or linen, vanir are wearing a incredibly light woven silk which almost float in the air and light wool while the clothes are boned with metal.
While asgardian wear their hair more down in more twisted variants, vanir wear their hair in very complicated updos. (also seen on frigga) and they also have special make up for special events in their life's.
(BTW Sigyn is a rebel in this point and just wear her hair in open waves with some soft tucks or braids because she's a badass)
So this was all, but I think through my headcanon, friggas fashion throughout the movies makes more sense... Because it doesn't. Sorry costume designer of thor.. But it doesn't seem to make sense.
Forgive me any spelling mistakes English is not my first language and autocorrection is not my friend.

Spoilers for the Dragon Prince Season 4 and beyond.
My collated notes of all the hints about what is coming up in the Dragon Prince, from interviews, AMA, ComicCon panels. Updated with stuff from Through the Moon.
There will be 7 seasons of 9 episodes each total and possibly some side projects. The story will be in three arcs with a time skip between the arcs. Books 4 & 5 makes up the next arc, which may be called the Mystery of Aaravos. Book 4 is Earth.
Side projects have been confirmed to all be part of canon and include a video game set in Xadia, an tabletop RPG game called Tales of Xadia, a possible feature film of the Orphan Queen and a possible side story set during the reign of Sol Regem featuring Sir Phineas the Cursed and his travelling companion an elf professor Delilah Geel (Who wrote the Secrets of Xadia book).
The video game was in play testing in October 2020, and Wonderstorm was still hiring staff to work on it. After S3 came out they said there was going to be an announcement about the game in 2020, but things may have been delayed due to Corvid.
Through the Moon graphic novel is set between seasons 3 and 4. It feature’s Rayla, Callum and Ezran having returned to Katolis and receiving a request from Lujanne to go the Moon Nexus for a ritual at new moon and bring Phoe-Phoe’s ghost feather. While there Rayla seizes the opportunity to use the lake’s power as a portal between life and death to try an answer the questions that have been plaguing her about the fate of her parents, Runaan and whether Viren is truly dead.
There will also be a second graphic novel set between seasons 4 & 5.
Reminder - stuff said in interviews, AMA & so forth is subject to the team changing their mind when it comes to actually putting stuff in the show or books. They’re still planning things out. So take things as “the current idea is this, but we’ll see how it pans out”
There’s no word on how long the time skip between season 3 and 4 will be, however, Through the Moon starts 3 days before new moon and S3 ended 2 days after full moon, which is only 11 days. About 17 days pass in TTM. The Tales of Xadia TRPG is also going to fit in between these season too. AE said a vague ‘lots of weeks.’
Season 4 will include the hero trio trying to address how to heal and start to change things in the world, however there are scars history has left that will impede them. Aaravos will bring those scars to bear, though the creator did say that Aaravos himself didn’t cause those scars, he ‘brought it out’ in the people who did.
There’s a big theme of understanding what’s happened in the past and how it affects what’s happening now. Questioning what their fore-bearers have done, admitting fault and forgiving mistakes. (BTW, this is on both human and Xadian sides).
“Ezran is the key to everything.” Ezran’s empathic ability will allow him to play a role in the world no other can as he can connect to non-human beings. Though the circumstances of S1-3, who his parents are and his strong compassion, Ezran is in a unique position to cause real change.
Callum will learn more Sky magic spells well as obsessing to work a connection to another arcanum - he is dedicated to being the best mage he can be. Callum will always have a conflict between what do you want to do with magic and what will you do for magic. One hint given is that Callum cannot perform healing with his Sky magic. On an Instragram Live AE admitted he was trolling a bit, but said a betting person would pick Callum being the first human archmage. On an AMA there was a hint that historically there may have been elves that learned a second arcanum. (However, interview stated Aaravos’ mastery of all the primals is just him - he’s special).
Callum’s ‘destiny’ is tied in with the Key of Aaravos Rune Cube. It will be very important coming up. The Key is being pulled towards a location in Xadia. The closer it is to the location, the stronger the pull. (Reminder - it previously belonged to Aaravos and unlocks a great power in Xadia). In Callum’s Spellbook it says that once Zym has been returned Callum intends to find out what the Key does and make Harrow proud.
Writers have been very cagey about whether Callum being able to learn an arcanum means other humans can. “Callum learning Primal magic means that Callum learned Primal Magic.”
They’ve referred to him as the first human to learn an arcanum. However, another interview indicates that humans may have been able to connect to the primal sources in the past - thus Callum relearned something that has been forgotten for over a thousand years
Are non-magical species able to evolve into one that can use magic?
JR: There have been humans long in the past that could have AE: Yeah, right JR: They’re like [waves hand], but modern day he’s a phenomena. Like nothing is done like this no longer. AE: Yeah, I mean if Callum is developing the ability to do Primal magic do you believe that Callum is special because he’s the only human who’s able to do it or do you believe that that Callum is special because he’s the first human in forever to realise it is possible for humans. You know that kind of a little bit the question - I mean he’s special either way and right, but is he special because he’s realising that that maybe those limitations weren’t true or is he an exception to to this limitation.
Cartoon Universe interview
Though they did point out there’s not been much incentive in the last 1000 years for humans to learn Primal magic, given that Dark magic is both easier to use and more powerful.
Rayla will have an inner conflict about her future as a Moonshadow elf that she needs to figure out. Including how being friends with humans and wanting to be a protector rather than the assassin she was raised to be will affect her relationships with her people. (Plus, the whole being ghosted and ghosted parents issue needs to be addressed). Update info from TTM: Rayla ends TTM by going on a quest by herself to locate Viren. Her clues are the Storm Spire, a cave and... a giant cocoon.
There is an unspecified but important storyline involving Runaan. But the coins will get addressed at some point. The coins would require very powerful magic to release the trapped elves and it may not be possible for Primal magic. However, Viren is capable of releasing people he has coined. Also, Rayla knows something happened to her parents, but doesn’t specifically know about the coins. Viren showed Rayla a pouch and mentioned adding her to his collection. AMA answer suggests Callum didn’t see what Viren did in the history spell - he just know Viren did something to Rayla’s parents. TtM seems to confirm Callum’s spell didn’t show that part. Whether Gren saw Runaan in the coin seems up to debate - in the novel he knew Viren used magic on Runaan came out holding something small, like a button or coin. (PS. They also confirmed Runaan slew Harrow, and Harrow is dead dead).
Soren has a complicated future ahead of him as he’s lost the only support system he’s known his whole life. He has a lot to learn and many places to go.
Claudia is going to get a lot worse and there’s a long way to go for her, though they did hint that there’s hope for her in the end. Her motivation is love and family, not power. However, she is willing to go to great sacrifices for her family... Also, her hair will get whiter.
“When we get back to her in Season 4, there is some amazing stuff, just in the first few episodes, which by the way are also funny and quirky and all the things we’ve come to love about the character, but she becomes a very critically important driving force of the narrative in Season 4.”
Inverse interview.
It will be explained in S4 how Claudia was able to perform the resurrection spell. It hasn’t been used previously because she either a) didn’t know it - as in Aaravos taught her it - or b) didn’t have what was necessary to cast the spell.
The story about how Claudia managed to find a supposedly extinct for a 1000 years unicorn and capture it will be addressed in S6.
According to Claudia’s VA - Racquel Belmonte - Claudia will likely have a protege dynamic with Aaravos. She will change her mind a bit on disliking all elves and open up a bit on seeing Viren’s connection to Aaravos.
They have a backstory about why Viren treats Soren so harshly compared to Claudia (though he’s manipulative of both), though it’s not indicated when this backstory will be shown. New info from the book said that Viren used dark magic to save Soren from dying of an illness. This ravished his appearance and whatever he did scared his wife, Lissa, into leaving him. Also Viren wanted a son who would carry on his path and is disappointed Soren isn’t like him. Viren feels some resentment towards Soren that he refuses to acknowledge.
AMA confirmed that Lissa will not be making an appearance in S4 or 5. There is a possibility she may be included in S6, but it’s just a potential idea. Early mage fam life involving Lissa will come up in the novels. (BTW she currently lives in Del Bar and was in no danger from the smoky assassin as she has nothing to do with the leadership of Del Bar)
Viren became a bit of a card carrying villain in season 3, however in season 4 & 5 some of the complexities behind his actions will be revealed. (His VA said that Viren had understandable reasons in S1 & 2, but was a villain in S3, however, he’s happy with how S4 & 5 will develop Viren. Also he gave a strong hint that Viren will have a kind of “fresh start” thing going on, and “do a 180″, and his story is apparently kinda wild).
Viren and Aaravos: Viren didn’t take Runaan’s warning that “you found something worse than death” seriously enough. Viren is ‘in hot water’ in his dealings with Aaravos. The question over time would be - “Wait, am I making my own choices or am I being led to choices you wanted me to make, Aaravos?”
This current era will be known as the Return of Aaravos. Apparently in S4 & 5 Aaravos is going to be very... mysterious. In fact the arc could be called The Mystery of Aaravos.
“The next two seasons are about understanding who Aaravos was, who they thought Aaravos was, how they realized what was happening, and imprisoned him.”
This is tied into the Orphan Queen storyline, for more info see this post. Parts of this storyline will feature in flashbacks S4 onwards.
A lot of Aaravos’ motivation comes from a relationship he had with a character whose name is featured on the map from the novel. (Candidates are Skall’s Hook, Ruins of Elarion, Mount Kalik and Eboreus. They said on a Q&A that Elarion wasn’t referring to a person, just the city).
Aaravos has a speech coming up in S5 that explains about the history of magic and why he’s interested in humans. Summed up - Over 5000 years ago there was only one kind of magic, deep magic, and it was very difficult to wield, then something happened that split magic into the 6 Primals Source and gave every creature and plant a connection to one of the 6 Primal Sources, which were much more practical magics. Except humans.
When asked what was coming out of the cocoon an interviewer gave “Aaravos’ physical form” and some jokes options. Ehasz replied, “I’m gonna say none of the… well, I’m not gonna say.” TtM update: In the world between life and death the cocoon held a corrupted version of Viren - a month after Viren was resurrected at the end of S3. Rayla says Viren is caught between life and death, but in the living world.
Janai is Queen Khessa’s heir, so she should be the next Sunfire Queen. Janai also has a brother. (Sunfire elves also have a Light Being form with healing powers that’s even rarer than the beserker Heat Being form. This fact has come up a couple of times so they’re likely going to introduce a character with this form - could be Janai’s brother).
Janai will find out that Aaravos whispered something in Khessa’s ear before he killed her.
Also on Amaya and Janai:
Also, they did a reveal page for Janai's mount, a Twin-Tailed Inferno-Toothed Tiger, with some interesting info. These flying firecats are believed to only tolerate those of pure-heart and aggressive to those of ill-intent. You can't give a factoid like that and not use it somewhere.
Tales of Xadia will feature storyline content that bridges the gap between Season 3 and the newly-announced Season 4 of The Dragon Prince,” according to Fandom’s press release. “Players can explore the ruins of Lux Aurea, try to restore the corrupted Sunforge, and fight to stop the spread of the evil monstrosities it radiates. This off-screen story will come alive in game supplements—as well as in organized play events—prior to Season 4’s release.
Forbes
Sol Regem will be in season 4. (No character makes me think of “scars of the past” more than this character. He is not going to be interested in reconciliation between Xadia and humanity).
There will be a new elf character - Terry the Earthblood elf. Has similar powers to Toph from Avatar tLA and is said to be very funny. For reference this Earthblood elf is from Callum’s Spellbook;
Also a new dragon in season 4 - Rex Igneous (Fire King) the Earth Archdragon, who lives underground but comes up every hundred years. He’s appeased by food he hasn’t tried before (looking at Ezran and his jelly tart habit here);
They mentioned that both Earthblood and Tidebound elves will be introduced in seasons 4 & 5.
There’s another archdragon who has been mentioned at SDCC and in the novel, Luna Tenebris, who reigned between Sol Regem and Avizandum.. Ehasz said that the end of her reign is being explored in S4, but no current intentions to explore the beginning.
JR mentioned that the territory of the Skywing elves will be visited at some point, and how having a small portion of the population that has wings, and a even smaller population that can magically manifest wings, has an affect on their culture. (The three types apparently have different outlooks - with winged elves being known for moving on when they don’t care to deal with things).
They’ve mentioned a character that will be introduced in the video game will make it into the show. AE & JR were talking about how they were currently writing stuff for S5 and how this character just got their moment, so I think this character is due in S5.
Core novel Book 2: Sky will introduce a very important Dark Mage character not yet featured on the show.
Also, as a tidbit from AE - there’s a scene in S5 where someone makes a sacred promise to Bait.
Sarai will feature in the show again. AMA confirmed Callum’s father is “fully human.” His father may come up in the novels.
In the novel new lore about unicorns was introduced. This lore will be incorporated into the show at some point.
The reactions to elf/human romantic relationships will be a thing.
Aanya will be featured again. Ezran and Aanya will be friends.
Queen Fareeda of Evenere actually survived the smokey assassin’s attack - she just went missing for a bit. Her story may come up later on.
Captain Villads and Berto are likely to be featured again, but not confirmed.
They do have some stories about Callum’s father they want to tell, but it’s likely to be in books rather than making it into the show.
Crow Master has scenes coming up. The Crow Lord is real but that’s all they’re gonna say.
Some very epic beings will eat jelly tarts in the show.
And a finishing note to put the fear in you - possible major character death.
PS. It has been confirmed that Rayla, Callum, Zym (and Bait) are the main characters for all seven seasons, so this leaves... Soren, Claudia, Viren and Amaya.

Next chapter will be postponed
I really thought I had more time, but plot inconsistencies are catching up. I knew for a while that I had to do some revisions of the earlier chapters, but I had hoped to get more chapters done before that. I had planned to finish the early game first, before I did some bigger changes. Well, it can’t wait any longer.
Let me explain my troubles to you by going a lil deeper into Lulu’s character and chapter 18. Spoilers are waiting ahead.
Lulu, oh Lulu, my child of sorrow. She’s been the character with the most inconsistencies. That is stemming from me going into this story with little thought to her character. I began with this widely accepted fanon of her being childish, naive, a little stupid and basically annoying, but as you know... the widely accepted fanon isn’t always a good idea.
I knew Veigar was to be the tiny master of bullshittery, trying to get through life as smoothly as possible and constantly being caught up by plot. Teemo has revenge written on his plate and he also tries to get his girl. Tristana has to overcome what has happened to her when she was younger and learn that Lulu is not the helpless girl she got to know her as. Rumble is there to cause trouble, Ziggs is causing trouble, as do Corki and Heimer, latter providing an important plot point later on.
Although all of them go through changes and have character development, Lulu has no clear starting point. My initial idea was “Lulu smart” & “Lulu tricks people for funsies”. Which is where the problem lies. Lulu is too smart to be doing a mistake as gravely as giving out Veigar’s phone number and she is not resentful enough to do so as payback. I had tried to fix this by having Lulu being angry at Veigar for something that happened before the story starts.
Which doesn’t work.
Right now, Lulu has shown much empathy for everyone, lots of love for her friends and some mischief. I want her to be this really emotionally intelligent person, who could be less intelligent on other aspects, but she isn’t dumb. The plot catalyst of tmob doesn’t work.
Which now brings me to chapter 18. It is called “Black is the complementary colour to purple, right?” and I believe that tells enough about its content. It was meant to be their condonation moment, they say sorry and love each other again. Well. The first draft from months ago intended Lulu as the one asking for forgiveness, but Veigar has done just as much shit and even if Lulu doesn’t know about all of it, he needs to apologize as well.
So far, so good, but how should this chapter go then? Lulu apologizes for giving out his personal data (which I’m planning to redact because implausible) and Veigar apologizes for... cursing Tristana without possibility to help? For possibly aiming Ziggs’ revenge on her? For forcing Lulu to pick a side? There is a lot that is going on. Both sides aren’t completely honest.
Another problem, I don’t know how much initial knowledge I should give Lulu about Veigar’s past. She knows about the mothership, does she know about Tristana? No, because Veigar doesn’t view it as meaningful and will be majorly baffled when he finds out that he’s the cause for her trauma. Does Lulu know about Teemo? Some stories, nothing wild. Does Lulu know about Veigar’s trauma? No, she senses it, but he doesn’t talk about it.
Does it make sense for Lulu to forgive him? I... don’t know. I think they’ve been divided for long enough. I want them to make up in chapter 18 and do mischief together or whatever, but does it make sense? A reminder: love and nonsensical hormones aren’t involved yet. They’re friends and while that is also blending, it’s not that blending.
Veigar is not able to help with the curse. There is no way. And that pisses Lulu off majorly, rightfully so.
Now, if I’m to change the phone thing, make Teemo’s and Veigar’s feud the catalyst - which it is supposed to be - then Veigar screws over Lulu and has to fight for their friendship. How in the world is he gonna make up for that? Well, it is nothing personal to Lulu. It is Veigar’s and Tristana’s business. I know better than to mess with my friends’ business unless they ask/allow me to. So, Lulu learning that resolves it..? I don’t know.
Lulu’s initial burden to overcome is her childishness, her disregarding the consequences of her actions, but I don’t want that development to be her character arc. She’s 21 or 23 in the story. She entered the current timeline at age 14 and was thrust into a situation too heavy for a child, dealing with the nowadays world, providing for herself, her magical abilities being frowned upon, etc. It would make sense that she doesn’t want to grow up, because her childhood was stolen, but would it result in this?
Ugh.
Meanwhile, she still wants to play matchmaker because Tristana and Teemo are stupid, and involves Rumble - but how?
Oh, and btw Poppy’s hatred for Veigar makes no sense anymore either. I couldn’t come up with a plausible idea, so I might just spoil what I had initially planned: Poppy is Lulu’s first matchmaking victim. Lulu convinces Veigar to help her and gets caught by Poppy in their scheme, perhaps through a counterfeited letter, and gets his collarbone broken in the process. Poppy is hurt and aims her anger for her failed relationship at Veigar, because she thinks he did everyone for a laugh. And who did they set up for Poppy?
Kennen. Which explains their behaviour in chapter 2.
So, I need a new reason for that too. Oh well, so much work lies ahead of me. My brother (a highly emotionally intelligent person) once told me how easy it is for him to read people and to move their feelings into the direction that could benefit him, the only difference between him and a psychopath is that he chooses to not abuse it. I wanted to model Lulu after this description. She successfully manipulated the Piltovian police officer and Rumble with her puppy eyes, it’s implied that she’s done that with Tristana before. Chapter 18 would have revealed that she could do the same with Veigar. At some point I thought maybe it’s a spell, she can see aura, why not manipulate that. That’s less realistic and less scary, right? It’s such a spicy idea, but it’s also so evil and what is the consequence of it?
As you can see, it’s Lulu’s fault. Ahahahaha. In all seriousness, I need to rebuild her character. The inconsistencies are driving me crazy.
Check the schedule for info. I’m too lazy to post about update dates.

What Do You See? | Ben Hardy x Reader
A/n I haven’t wrote decently in forever so forgive me for any spelling, grammar, or punctuation mistakes. This is also kind of a vent because I’ve been going through it recently.. enjoy!! This character also uses she/her pronouns but if you guys would like for me to write something besides that, I’m all for it.
⚠️ Warnings: very angsty but fluff towards the end :)) very short btw sorry about that.
Ben looked at you like you were a work of art, worthy to be seen. He always believed that you were the most eye-catching and beautiful person in the entire world. There was something about the way you act and the way you look that drives him up the wall. Even though Ben sees a lot in you, you never seem to notice, too busy admiring the gorgeous women that he works with, thinking about what it would be like the look like them.
Ever since Paris Fashion week, you’ve been extremely self conscious, checking the mirror every few to see if you’ve become thinner and prettier, but no, you remained the same. The thoughts of him leaving you for a ‘better’ person scrambled your mind, making you burst out in tears.
Ben would be home any minute now, you need to get yourself together before he catches you being hard on yourself over nothing. You lay back on the white bedsheets, your head was dizzy and throbbing from the crying you had been doing. Every time you look in the mirror, you see a person with flaws, not one trait to redeem them. What if he leaves you? What if he’s only with you because he feels bad?
Your thoughts came to a close as you heard the front door of the house open. You hurry to place the puffy sheets over your head and act like nothing is wrong.. everything is wrong. You turn over the face the wall away from the door so he couldn’t see your face just Incase worst come to worst.
You could hear his deep voice coming from outside the bedroom door, your body shakes nervously as he opens the door. He was tired and you didn’t want to make him worry even more about you than he already does.
“Y/n?” Ben called out, looking around the room.
“Yes?” You said in a deep sigh, your voice wobbly from the nerves.
Ben frowned, he knew something was wrong. Ben walked over to the bed and sat down on the corner.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, fidgeting with his hands, waiting for the worst possible answer.
“Ben, what do you see? What do you see when you look at someone like me?” You whimpered, holding back the tears.
Ben turned around the lifted the covers to see your tear-filled eyes looking back at him.
“I see everything. You might not see that but I sure do. Everything you do is just amazing to me,” Ben explained, caressing your face.
“I’m sorry for worrying, it’s just that I look around at all these girls your around and I feel like I’ll never to be able to compare to them.”
Ben smiled, “You don’t need to worry. I’ve been yours since the beginning and I’ll forever be yours, I’m not going anywhere.”
You felt a small grin creeping up on your lips. You loved Ben more than words could ever explain, and he loved you just as much. You left a small kiss on his cheek before laying back down and cuddling against the covers.
“I mean, I would join you but you look too comfortable so..” Ben teased.
You groaned, “Stop being suck a dick and just join me already.”
Ben laid down and wrapped his arms around your waist, at this moment, you felt like the luckiest and most special girl in the world.

“You are trying to kill us both or what?”
Jazminne’s voice only made Ben angrier; he didn’t want to speak to her at all. All the words she had said before made him furious. Jazminne made him feel enraged; he didn’t quite know why. Was it because she behaved as a horrible friend towards Jane? Or maybe he felt this way because he didn’t want to acknowledge the truth?
He and Jane both felt it. The constant electricity between them wasn’t something uncommon, but it only became stronger within this month. Ben couldn’t keep up with it anymore, it was clear he was fed up. He wanted to stop lying and pretending; he wanted to tell Jane the truth about his feelings. And since Jane felt this way as well, it wouldn’t be that hard.
“Jones, can you hear me?” Jazminne’s voice was getting louder. “Slow down, for God’s sake!”
“Just trying to get you home as soon as possible”, he mumbled but Jaz heard him. She sneered at his words and unfastened her seatbelt; then she moved a bit forward and put her mouth exactly near Ben’s ear.
“Cut the bullshit, Jones. You just want to get rid of me as fast as you can”.
Ben didn’t like the shivers that went down his spine while Jaz was whispering in his ear;g he moved his head a bit, so that his body wouldn’t react weirdly on Jazminne’s future actions.
She didn’t notice his movements and continued speaking. “When you get me home, you’ll come back to your house. You will sit on your soft bed, put on your headphones and will start jacking off to the picture of Jane that stands on your bedside table”.
Ben hit the brakes sharply, which caused the car stopping at the middle of the road. As his face was red and sweaty, he was breathing heavily; he clenched the wheel tightly as Jaz was talking now clearly trying to get a reaction from him. “Of course I could help you with your frustration, just like I did three months ago. You won’t be even thinking about Jane”, her hand was now on his shoulder, “trust me”, and she was whispering in his ear, “I’m really good at it”.
“Get the fuck out”.
Jazminne didn’t expect to get this type of reaction from him. She frowned for a moment. “What?” she asked stupidly.
“Get the fuck out of my car, Gardner”. Ben said through his gritted teeth. He was clenching the wheel so strongly that his knuckles whitened and he couldn’t feel his hands at all.
“But we’re not even at my house…”
“You live on the next street”, he almost hissed. “You can walk yourself home”.
“It’s one A.M! It’s too late for me to walk alone, Ben!” she screamed from the backseat.
Ben turned to see her; he was angry, so angry that he almost couldn’t breathe. But he could speak somehow. “I don’t give a fuck, Gardner. I honestly fucking don’t. Get out before I make you do it”.
She rolled her eyes; Jazminne quickly grabbed her purse and before storming out of the car she stopped for a moment. “She’ll never tell you about her feelings. You won’t do that too. You’re just two cowards. Don’t have enough balls to do that”.
Jazminne slammed the door of Ben’s car and shouted, “Asshole!”, while showing him a middle finger. Ben was driving fast again so just he could get as far away from Jaz as possible.
He was at his house’s doorway in mere seconds. Slamming the car door angrily, Ben ran up the steps only to be greeted by his younger sister at the front door. “You said you’ll come back at eleven!”
“Cate”. Ben sighed. “Can we do that later? I’m really not in the mood”.
“What?” the girl was completely taken aback. “I do not care if you are not in the mood; I’m trying to tell you off here!”
He looked at her from head to toe. “You’re only twelve, Cate. You can’t reprimand me. You’re too young for that”.
“You’re too young for that”, she mocked him. “I’m not too young to tell grandma, y’know”, Cate crossed her arms.
“Oh, go on. Be a snitch. I’m gonna tell grandma that you were kissing a boy in your room”.
Cate gasped. “You can’t do that! She’ll tell mum!”
A sly grin was now on Ben’s face. “That’s the point, pumpkin”. He had forgotten about his anger already; his sister was able to cheer him up in mere seconds.
“You are the worst brother”, she sighed.
“Can I come in now?”
“If I say ‘no’, you’ll do it anyway”.
“Of course I will. I live here”.
“That’s to be proved, you know”.
Ben made sure his sister went to bed and fell asleep; after that he came back to his room. It was cold and empty – as usual. Ben’s brother, Tom, the one he shared the room with, was in the boarding school in Scotland and was only coming back home in July; so Ben got quite used to the coldness and sadness of their room.
He sat down on his bed and sighed deeply; what the fuck happened today? Ben knew Jazminne wasn’t quite herself when she was drunk, but today she crossed all the lines. She wasn’t wrong about everything, though.
Ben looked at his bedside table where a picture in the frame of him and Jane was standing. It was taken on Ben’s seventeenth birthday earlier that year; he was happily chatting with Aiken and Eugene when he saw her walking in. She was wearing black jeans and a green blouse, and her red hair was let down. She looked gorgeous. Ben was staring at her for at least a minute before he could stupidly mutter, “You’re fifteen minutes late”. She laughed then and gave him his present; “I didn’t have the money to buy you something decent so I knitted you a sweater”. It was bright red, almost like her hair, with green deer on the front and back. It smelled like her perfume. “It’s ugly”, he said then. “That’s the point, Ben”, she smiled and pulled him in a tight hug. That was the moment when he felt his heart beating crazily as he put his hands around her waist.
Holy shit.
It didn’t last just for this month. It had been the longest process possible.
Maybe Ben had loved her for four months already. Since he saw that pretty sweater she gave him and inhaled her favorite floral perfume as if it were the oxygen he terribly needed – since that moment Ben had been head over heels in love with her.
Maybe not even since then. Maybe it went back way early. Maybe it went back to the day they met.
