I think lord death and spirit have a very underrated relationship (the bit they did with medusa was so funny) it’s my favorite thing to think about. Even funnier to think about is spirit, by virtue of being the only mortal LD spends a significant amount of time with, is the grim reapers benchmark for what a normal human person is nowadays, which is very unfortunate because spirit is not normal. At all. I think the question of “why in gods name does lord death act like that” (goofy as hell) can be answered with “because he probably just assumed the cringe fail 18 year old death scythe under his payroll was a good person to emulate wrt talking to people.” I don’t want to intimidate the students of my school and my employees -> nobody finds spirit intimidating -> I should just act like this guy. Firm believer that “wazzup” was spirits fault.
