I already made a short comic about Stanley and Ford’s reactions after Bill returned their memories ( this one here ) but here’s how it happened exactly

No Axolotl (although i love the idea of a huge intergalactic being coming to earth just to remind two random men that they were friends with a triangle once), no memory gun, just depressed Bill, who just escaped Theraprism, feels alone af and is desperately in a need of redemption and friends

all the memories just came back all at once. like finally having all the puzzle pieces in their places, everything finally made sense. every memory where they felt like something was missing were now complete.

thanks god i did all those sketches from their childhood ahfhvjbjx they are finally useful /hj
