Mostly cuz Legend showed up to be protective over his brothers 💖 (and generally just showed up he lifts up my mood and my headcanon since 4ever was him being protective so now finally having a proof adds to the mood)

Also the bunny joke on the second page made me laugh so hard and now every now and then i do the same and my family always looks at me like im a psychopath lol and I just say "oh, it's a joke in the comic" and it is i didn't lie

So yeah, i would say these two pages :)

putting this here more for myself than anything. i wanna be able to look back at it in a year and see how its changed. explanations for each section under the cut

ship i loved at first sight: tara x piper. i don't know what the ship name is. taper? pira? pira seems nicer lol. anyway, tara used to be my favourite brawler (and is still up there in my top 5) and i think the first time i saw tara x piper fanart was on reddit. it was by Xpyray and i swear to god ive never fallen in love with a ship faster. their art is so fucking good and they dont rlly draw brawl stuff anymore but i still follow them cuz their art is so so so pretty (please go follow them if youre reading this). anyway so yeah thats how tara x piper became my fav ship.

ships i initially didn't like: rico x piper, shelly x colt imma be fr at the start i didn't really Get these ships. but after watching some of the official animations and learning more of the lore, i started to appreciate these ships more. i don't love them or anything but they can be cute

ships i don't like anymore: sandy x nita, leon x jessie, sandy x leon there is no real reason for this other than the fact that i simply stopped liking them as i grew up. as i was making this i realised that when i was younger i used to like the ships with the kids/teens more, but now i'm 17 and i'm just not interested in them anymore. i guess thats what happens when you grow up lol. these ships are still cute, but i just don't engage with them anymore

favourite popular ships: mandy x chester, fang x buster so a bit of background, i actually quit brawl stars for a while, i think after the gale brawl pass. i dont really remember why, but its probably because i just got bored of the game lol. i think that also played into why i'm no longer interested in the same ships as before. anyway, i came back this year during the bizarre circus brawl pass and accidentally fell in love with these two ships. honestly, i'm not even entirely sure why i fell in love with these two ships in particular. chester definitely caught my eye when i came back to the game because a) i love clowns b) i love a good troll c) i love the random XD energy chester has and d) he has super interesting & fun game mechanics. i have no interest in mandy really but then i saw One suggestive mandy x chester fanart that went hard af and suddenly i was on board lmao. on the other hand fang and buster were two characters that i took some time to fall in love with, but now they're my favourites lol it's so strange. i really don't know how it happened.

favourite rarepair: amber x maisie i was looking at a diagram of all the trios so far because i was brainstorming ideas for who to include in a fanfic and as i was looking at it, suddenly it Clicked in my mind that amber x maisie would go hard af. like think about it. overconfident fire entertainer who gets so swept up in performances that she forgets about safety x safety coordinator with a fire extinguisher for an arm who secretly likes being in dangerous situations? come on!!!! im surprised more people havent thought of this pairing cuz as soon as it clicked for me it seemed like such an obvious pairing to do. but then again they've never interacted in any animation/promo material/etc so i guess it's not a pair people would just think of without prompting. but it's so fucking good!!!! more people need to get in on this ship.

controversial ship: none here's the thing. i don't know any controversial ships that i can see myself shipping. the most controversial one i know is probably edgar x colette but i see them as siblings so i don't ship it nor do i engage with fanart of them. edgar and colette ships in general are probably controversial seeing as both of them don't have canon ages and it's vague enough that people are always talking about whether they're adults or minors. but i personally see both of them as older teens so i don't ship them with anyone. (to me, they're too old to hang out with the kid brawlers but also too young to hang out with the adult brawlers. it's weird because there's no other brawlers where i see them as teens, so in my mind edgar and colette both have 0 shipping potential)

ships i want to become canon the most: amber x maisie, fang x buster they're my current favourite ships. what else to say.

comfort ship: fang x buster i think about them All the Fucking Time. lowkey i started to project on fang a bit just cuz i like him so much. i don't even know why or how i started liking him this much but he's my favourite brawler now and it's horrible. i think the seal in the coffin was @/giveittomegay's fanart of them. THEY'RE SO FUCKING CUTE. like omfg. confident, charismatic chinese immigrant who just arrived at starr park x introverted insecure white guy who doesn't know how to approach others. slowburn where they become closer through working at the cinema and buster realises he's fallen in love basically immediately but fang hasn't realised his own sexuality (has had crushes on girls before so always assumed he was straight) and doesn't realise he's in love with buster until maisie straight up tells him. fang's confidence means he jokingly flirts with buster all the time because he thinks it's funny to tease the guy and make him flustered but doesn't realise buster gets flustered because he likes fang. fang is fucking stupid. also, i think using fang x shelly here as a conflict plot point would be so good. like, fang seeing a pretty girl and approaching her, flirting with her, etc. i like to think fang is dense as fuck and would genuinely believe he's in love with shelly despite buster occupying 90% of his thoughts because his thought process would be something along the lines of "oh, i just think about him a lot cuz he's my best friend, i'm sure this is all regular, normal bff things". and buster just fucking dying inside but not saying anything because he thinks it's none of his business and he shouldn't interfere in fang's love life. MAISIE WATCHING ALL THIS HAPPEN AND WANTING TO MURDER BOTH OF THEM FOR BEING SO DENSE. like ohhhhhh my god there is so much potential here it's fucking insane. side note: fang doesn't have anything against gay people. i like to think maisie x amber comes way before fang x buster, so fang knows gay people exist and like he is perfectly fine and comfortable being around them, he's just so stupidly dense that he doesn't realise HE is gay (or more specifically bi). he also assumes buster is straight because default sexuality and whenever fang makes jokes based on this assumption buster never corrects him. because buster is a pussy. god. i want to write this fanfic so bad but i'm so fucking bad at writing dialogue it's insane.

ships that deserve more attention: amber x maisie, brock x bibi, barley x bull, max x janet LET ME COOK HERE OKAY. amber x maisie i already explained above. brock x bibi (i call them bibrock) is because it's noted in bibi's bio that she's secretly a huge nerd and i think it would be super cute for her to have a bf who she can indulge in nerdy and geeky shit with. to me they're both massive comic book fans who become close by playing all the superhero video games together before branching out to other games. they're console gamers btw and they get SUPER competitive whenever they're playing against each other. but they also do play coop games where they work together. usually brock is the one who does a lot of theorycrafting and tries to minmax his grind so he can get all the resources in the most optimal and time efficient way possible, whereas bibi prefers just going into fights and wrecking havoc lol. barley x bull is because they're both restaurant owners/servers (barley has his bar, bull has his diner) and i think they would bond over shitty customers and interesting food/drink recipes. they're both also familiar with having fights break out in their establishment and are fully capable of shutting fights down, even if it means getting their hands dirty. they think they're on opposite ends of the spectrum but they're actually more similar than they realise. for sure a very slowburn romance (especially because i think bull would be denial about liking a fucking robot lmfao) max x janet is because they're both celebrity entertainers. yeah, that's it. no but seriously i see max as someone who puts up an outgoing persona in public and is generally a very hyper, high energy person but at the same time, she tends to keep people at a distance because she's scared of intimacy. before janet, her closest friends are surge and meg. surge kind of Knows something is up with her because every time he tried to ask about her past she clammed up and gave noncommittal responses. he worries about her but doesn't know what to do about it so he just tries to make her happy in the present. meg is a kid so she doesn't realise anything is wrong lol. hanging out with meg and surge makes max happy and she considers them family, but she still has a wall up around her true self. janet is the one who is finally able to help max come out of her shell and address her past trauma. it also helps that max thinks janet is very pretty and desperately wants to kiss her. this is canon btw don't question me.

Decided to indulge myself with another trainer sprite and trainer card for myself- once again using this site to help with team organization and overall for clean assets and clean asset sizing

Something different I wanted to do was try to make myself comfortable with easing up my usual shading style.

These two, for instance, are May and Tracey in my usual style (i forget if i uploaded these- these are from ny Ash AU basically). Personally, I think it can pop, but there's also a lot more work put into them and they come across as less authentic, not to mention I'd like to steer towards a simpler style that I can make pop with less shading.

For a standard splice edit, i think it's not too bad. The outfit is based on a combo of clothes I own I wish I felt confident wearing in public, lighter weight clothes I wear in the summer to cool off, and I even gave myself the headband I wear when I do outdoor work. Also, I wanted to indulge a little- I'm getting a bit more muscular and slightly leaner lately, and I wanted a sprite to kind of reflect this.

As for the card itself, it's a modified Academy Key I made previously for a bunch of OCs, and again, I kinda see this as a Keychain kinda deal. There's also sort of influence from a driver's license- grade indicating what type of trainer you are (and not grading percentage in school lol). Kinda like how real life licenses can show certification for normal cars are different vehicles.

I imagine you insert the pass key into a pc like a thumb drive to access your pc and your party that way, with your party being represented and changed digitally.

The team I chose is basically a mix and mash of Pokemon I've had on my mind lately and wanna use more often. It was actually kinda hard to narrow it down due to all the type clashes with my favs (for instance, having Hisuian Samurott, Scizor, Golisopod, Corviknight, Alolan Marowak, and Hisuian Typhlosion would have so much type overlap, and I'm way too picky about that).

They're all Pokemon I've owned and used and could see myself taking a vacation with em.

1. Doujikiri/Shiny Hisuian Samurott, the same shiny I shiny bred for in my Indigo Disk adventure. It was between this or my shiny Umbreon, but I ended up going with Hamurott because it's my favorite starter, and I can see myself walking with it like it's a big dog (which it does in SV) or swim with it.

2. Klamps/Scizor, my main ace in my last playthrough of Soul Silver. I've had a strange hyperfixation on it lately, and who could blame me? It's a cool design. I'd imagine this would probably be the "sakuga" Pokemon- or at least the designated close combat fight scene Pokemon.

3. Lightning/Jolteon, I own 3 but Lightning is the one I used in XD GoD in my first successful playthrough of it. Jolteon actually used to be my favorite eeveelution for a while, and I want a little spunky doggo to run around with

The next three were actually on my Teal Mask team

4. Yoginator/Blood Moon Ursaluna, who is easily one of my strongest mons. Idk, mine hates me lol, so maybe we'd bond.

5. Hollabax/Baxcalibur. I dunno, he's not particularly strong and tanks hits like a missile through tissue paper, but I kinda wanna vibe with it again. Could see us using its ice to keep cool

6. Shogun/Hisuian Typhlosion. Again, kinda missed mine. Johtonian Typhlosion was my first Pokemon, and I vibed with the Hisuian variant a bit. Could see it as a stand in for my old girl. It was between this and Alolan Marowak, and I just like Typhlosion a little more.

okay hell yes i can. i started this and immediately realized i can't do like, "here's my least fav and here's my most fav," so they're all just getting a ranking on a scale of 1-10. (and i know you meant small creatures maybe but some big ones get included) i will probably forget some of them, and these are Very Canadian, but here goes:

bunny rabbits - 9/10. My favourite little guys. Every time I see one in the city it's like the most magical thing.

foxes - 12/10. Right now I am kind of obsessed with them. Scrungly little guys who can look so elegant or SO sad. Extra points for how rare they are to see.

moose - 6/10. So I have to go up north a bit to see them, but it's SO neat when you see one. Lower points for being dangerous as hell lol.

bears - 100000/10. HAVE I MENTIONED I LOVE BEARS. Also super dangerous and I don't actually want to see one up close but I adore them, they are perfect and can do many things wrong but I forgive them anyway.

squirrels - 4/10. Hilarious bastards. Get into everything. Listen when I was a kid I wanted to be a squirrel, I love them so much, but also they're kind of the worst and one time I had one run up my leg trying to get to the poutine I was eating so really I am justified in the ranking they get

coyotes - 10/10. Look I know they have a bad rep but I adore them. They're so neat!! Highly recommend people giving coyote nature books a read, they're a fascinating species. (I've only read most of Coyote America and it was v good, with big warnings that like, animal death is a big part of it)

badgers - 7/10. Round. Very shape. Honestly I know almost nothing about them, but they get extra points because the videos of badgers and coyotes being friends and hunting together is my favourite thing.

deer - 7/10. Seeing deer is always kind of magical as a city kid. However, I know they're also kind of pests, so, they get a lower rating.

turkeys - 3/10. Listen. I love turkeys. They're hilarious. However. They are LOUD and also did you know they nest in the very top of trees?? It is very disconcerting to walk through the woods and hear turkey gobbles coming from like 20 feet above you

Since I have 90 OCs I will just mention a few from all the universes -w-

Makes a list: Alice, Sanders, Lana, Alexander and Sam are all The Adults who provide for their families. Not making a list would be a pretty bad move in their books lol. I also feel like Ann and Zbislav would make lists since they had to be responsible kids. And most of Igniters (demon butlers), especially caretakers like Fred, Kali and Natasha since they usually try to meet the meets of their contract partners!

Doesn't make one: Clain, Runez and Arkarionn are all aliens, so shopping isn't really a concept they get! Except Clain who lives on Earth... but he has a big brain, he'll manage! Pasifer can't be bothered. He usually only ever buys two items, one being a quick snack and the second being some ridiculous kitchen appliance Sanders sent him over to the local store for lol. Azaroth doesn't make his lists OR shopping either. He has a lot of people around to do it for him- afterall he couldn't be bothered with such menial tasks!

Makes but forgets: I feel like that's something Gabe and Vi would do, except Vi would be like "oh well" about it while Gabriel would scream and yell and gnarl about it XD Charmill makes a list but goes offtrack halfway and invents a new Genius Idea that'll stop him from going out for a week. Guess he lives on tea and plants lol. Obi has a problem with keeping to lists so he'd attempt to make one but forget to add half the stuff and end up asking his boyfriend to finish it for him haha,,, 2. Alice - likes to stay trendy and fresh. Loves her hair a lot, re-dyes often <3

Madrigal - Probably dyed to Feel Something, doesn't bother that much now. re-dyes occasionally though

Devin - thinks bright pink is pretty cheerful :D Re-dyes often.

Aleck - Thinks red makes them look less intimidating. Plus a fashion statement. They like it, re-dyes once a month

Annoyed that his hair didn't match his white ear. No need to re-dye since they're just highlights but he likes it a lot more now

Obi - Dyed in highschool as a sign of rebellion against his parents. Very important to him, but doesn't re-dye them, just lets them grow out.

Kroonie - Only God and Her know why she dyed. Maybe for a cover-up?? Probably re-dyes but nobody's sure.

Masami - Highlighted to look different than her twin. Likes it very much though! Sometimes refreshes it when she has time.

Lillianne (no photo) - haistylist, re-dyes them a HECKING lot.

Megan - Hates her natural blonde but loves the bright pink :D Re-dyes once a month

Sam - Green all the way!! No favorite food, but probably something light fit and boring like a salad... Currently The Head Captain of the most prominent battalion amongst the Interplanetary Intervention Army (wow what a title..). Also currently dating the main medic Clain, but in the future marries him and they have two kids!

Clain - Finds the concept of a "favorite color" offputting... Favorite hiccusian food is...work in progress, but for human food he loves chocolate! He's the Main Medic for Interplanetary Intervention Army and he's currently dating Sam!

Azaroth - Indigo and gold all the wayy! Probably enjoys fancy, yet not stuffed meals (aka is the most Picky Eater on the planet), presumably with some light alcohol on the side. Currently is a Thief Guild Master and he rules a huge chunk of the continent with an iron fist behind the curtains! Not dating right now, but later on the story he gets together with his servant, Gem.

Yukiatsu - A classy man, enjoys white (but Mac tells him he looks great in black and orange, so he wears those a lot, too!). No favorite food, but enjoys anything his Darling makes for him (Do you sense a pattern, perhaps??? Damn simp). Works as a tattoo artist in his own tattoo parlor (that's set up in his garage. It's completely legal though!!), and he and his husband have a daughter (Vi) :>

Vierra - The Rumored Daughter! Likes black a hecking lot!! Also, unfortunately, enjoys wine a tad too much, thanks to her dad and her butler... But she's working on replacing that habit and currently loves chocolate and mint gum :) Works as a bouncer! In Hell she's a cleaning lady for a while before making her way up to a Hellgate Guard!! Dating a sweet angel girl named Leathiel <3

Charmill - Toxic Green (even more so if it glows and is, actually, dangerous)!! Kind of forced to like tea since he always creates more on accident and has a brewery XD HATES chamomile tea, though. According to him they're a (self-proclaimed) Poison Specialist, but I guess he's more of an alchemist/biochemist? and officially a tea brewer/sommelier! And they're currently single!

Pasifer - Does "whatever combo pisses Zbislav off more" count as a color? Likes all kinds of alcohol as long as it's free and will eat ANYTHING you feed him (beggars can't be choosers, eh?). A conman who pulls off all sorts of stunts, but currently his specialisation are tarot card readings! Also single, but he likes to play around!

Zbislav - ADORES the black-white-red combo (red ESPECIALLY)!! Again, no food favorites, but likes to eat with Sanders. Currently a gang member and a henchman, but would love to leave and live the life of a normal student... Also single, which kinda irritates him haha

Obi - Changes his color preference all the time, but forever devoted to his green hair -w- Also wears lots of pinks for whatever reason. Particularly likes the awfully cheap only-slighly-failed baked goods from a nearby bakery. Especially stuff with whipped cream... An awfully skilled detective (both official and freelance), but has a cover job as a nightclub dancer. Currently dating my friend's OC- Renwick!! 5. Oh boy am I!! I noticed I make a LOT of freckled characters. Also, long eyelashes ad half-lidded eyes are a MUUST. I also have a tendency of making all my fantasy OCs overly elegant?? Oh, and they all seem to follow the fashion trends I like on accident! Combat boots, round sunglasses, hats, turtlenecks, colorful shirts draping over one shoulder - all in my personal closet 😎😎

Also, love the complex way you portray Daemon who is arguably the most complex character in DoD. That's Missing what's in front of us. I loved rewriting this fic as it's one of my fav scenarios I liked to think about and I'm so proud of how all this angst and unrequited love ended up fitting together!

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year

This one's a though question cause once I'm done with a story I forget about it xD Anyway, after checking some of my fics I think one of my fav scenes is the one in Lovesick where Ledo and Ailnoth are working at the library and Ledo is just messing with him until Havel appears, and I don't know, I find it funny, and it also has this revelation that I was waiting for so long to post it!

Have you heard the rumour about Ruvya and Rikara getting married along with Shivika? A community marriage is what it's being referred to as. I don't see the need or the logic of such a thing! I'm not a Shivika shipper or anything but come on let them have their own normal wedding without shoving everyone else in, especially when they're not at that stage.Rikara aren't sure about what they feel for each other and Ruvya tho pata nai! What do you think? Will GulNeet go through with this?

Have I heard about this rumor? No. Do I think it’s probable? HELL YEAH. Did you forget the infamous group romance that happened for a week post the merge? What’s stopping them from having a community marriage? The CVs have a very screwed up way with which they handle the brothers’ “One for All and All for One” wala bond. Either they completely forget about each other as everyone lives in their own parallel universe or they do EVERYTHING together. LOL! I remember during the first days of merge when the group romance was happening, some fans were already predicting a group suhaag raat xD The fact that it could very well happen in the show made that discussion all the more hilarious (and sad).

Personally I’d rather this community marriage does not happen. Ek toh I just want this Billu ki Shaadi to be DONE with. Shivaay and Annika have directly and indirectly done ALL the rasams of their wedding at least two times but never without a proper wedding. So iss baar I just want them in that damn mandap so that finally thappa lag jae ke THEY ARE MARRIED! But I would LOVE for the shaadi track to have focus on the two couples as well. Can’t say anything about Andas (where does their relationship stand anyway?) but it’s a legit dream of mine to see some Gauri angst during the wedding. Queenie never got a proper wedding. Because I HIGHLY doubt any fandom would be happy to share this wedding. Like EWWW. Major Michmichi Alert having three brothers getting married at the same time in the same mandap.

OH MY GOD! Or they can do it like...they can have this total dramatic flashy sequence where three couples ARE getting married at the same time just not at the same place. Shivika can have their happy marriage, Rikara can have a marriage signifying their new start, and Andas can do whatever they heck they want. I wouldn’t mind THAT.

i was listening to old drama cds as one does and i'm wondering how i managed to forget that once upon a time rin and haru competed over who can undress faster and i just... i can't imagine shipping a better ship lmao (i also truly cannot comprehend takes on how haru isn't competitive...) it's stuff like this that helps me survive the pain i will be in until spring because of the ending of the movie

I swear each time I say something about stuff they did in canon, someone always goes "no way" and I'm like "yes way look look" lmao. Bc you really won't guess with the two which of that is canon and which is fanfiction and it's always hilarious to me. You can really go, "ah no, it's wasn't in a coffeeshop au I've read, when he ordered his smiles, it was that drama cd" lmao. So yeah, they feed us so well <3

HARU ISN't COMPETITIVE?!! LOOOOOOOOOL oi sometimes I feel like some ppl in the fandom don't know them at all from what I see xD no, okay, you maybe haven't seen their dumbass games, when Haru's ass is on fire each time, but isn't it in the whole anime? And what about the driving bit? lol

Also medal and winning was never Haru's goal, but it's in fact oh so hella doesn't mean he doesn't love winning lmao. I also can't stop laughing about the fact that Albert was disrespectful to the water and now Haru just wants to run him over really badly lmao. Ppl should know by now that he has this thing, when it's not truly about the winning, it's about proving his point xD

With Rin its different, bc he enjoys the process, just not caring and happily jumping into his arms when he lost, bc he just loves the feeling during the competition with him, but when it comes to others, like when he wants to kick someone's ass or prove his point, its already another thing haha. He also has way too much stubborn peacock energy, like his hubby. "Didn't you say that you're the best in the water?" *gets very agressive to prove his territory* lol pls like Haru... he's not as simple as some think, he has his own.. things.. Rin knows hehe.
