❀— Rapunzel leaned upon the window-sill, her head poking out through the wooden frame as she softly hummed the Healing Incantation to herself. Mother was out collecting herbs and what-not for tonight’s dinner which meant Rapunzel had the tower to herself, like most days. 

❀— Outside, the breeze was warm and the sun shone brightly but unfortunately Rapunzel was still cooped up inside, alone in her tower. Oh, what she’d do just to venture out into the wild, even if for just a couple of hours… before Mother got back of course. But the blonde would never have the guts to do such a thing. If Mother caught her.. just the thought made her insides bubble with guilt.  

❀— What Rapunzel didn’t know however, was that today might finally be the day her feet would finally touch the grass, that her hands would finally feel the bark of the tall trees around her. All after the stranger below approached her tower…

Her lavender eyes rested on the slightly odd-looking new arrival, hands hugging at her sides as a sudden chill of air ran up her spine. She was too cold to even make a move for her weapon--but he hadn't made a move to attack her yet, so maybe she wouldn't need it. "H-hello... who are you...?"

Mara seemed to stick out like a sore thumb against the cold winter snow, draped in black clothing. She was nearly where she wanted to be, shivers rolling through her body with each passing moment. Her heart was pumping wildly as she approached a familiar lake. Pausing for a moment, the girl leaned against a tree and looked on at the frozen body of water. She bit down on her lower lip, her hands shaking with anticipation.

It had been a long, long time since she'd been here. Since she'd seen him. Mara worked up the courage to lift her feet and move towards the lake again, stopping when she reached the edge of the bank. Wrapping her arms around herself, she smiled softly to herself, memories flooding back to her. 

She shook her head, dark curls flying every which way. Her hands flew up to her face, rubbing her eyes before any tears began forming. Would he even remember her? There was only one way to find out.

She planted her feet firmly on the ground, debating silently whether or not to sit as she stared down at the snow. Mara hadn't a clue when he would be back, if he would be back. With a sigh, she relaxed her neck, letting her chin fall to her chest. "Jack.." she mumbled to herself, tightening her arms around herself. "God, I hope you'll come back."

((Welp. Gonna have to do welcome starters for all who want them. I WILL NOT BE LAZY O.O)) (Also sorry for the late. School sucks)) Hotaru sighed as she tugged on her official "guardian uniform" which she called "the dress of death." Basically, it was a corset dress with off-the shoulder sleeves that hid her hands. Oh, and it only went to her knees. And Chronos GRACIOUSLY allowed her to wear thigh-high stockings and boots. THANKS CHRONOS... PERVERT. She heard a sound, much akin to tearing.... A portal to her dimension was opening. But WHERE WAS IT?!

Pausing in her chirrups, the dragon-Limey tilted her head, then face-pawed. She hadn't known he couldn't understand dragon, so her chatting had been more chirruping.

Accidental Nightmares

Mara sat quietly in the tree that she and Jack had called home for quite a while now. Her fingers ran over the rough bark of the branch, yellow-green eyes following her hand. She had been waiting for Jack to come home from whatever mischief he may have been up to. With a sigh, her head turned up from the tree to face the horizon, sending her dark curls around her neck. The sun was almost set now, a few clouds littering the skyline. Hopefully he would be home soon.
