hmmm mmmmmhh in Issue 2, as Pinewing goes to check on Cypressfoot and Nightberry, and Nightberry kind of attacks him, he thinks it's 'almost like she thought he was a fox or something'. and now dozens issues later we learn she had visions of the clan being killed, and it makes me wonder if even so far back she knew that a fox will break in and be the thing that kills Cypressfoot.. and as such, she was actually trying to prevent it from happening or buy Cypress more time when mistaking Pinewing for one and snapping at him.. oh man oh dude

Pinewing references it as a coyote, which was a reference to Rainhaze (mr. coyote symbolism) taking Dustfeather out of the den to her death - and yes, Nightberry's response is a reaction to Cypressfoot's eventual death, though she didn't know at the exact time that's how Cypress would die. You'll notice that throughout the story, Pine & Night will often have a subconscious sense of what's going to happen/what has happened before they actually, consciously know what it is.

what do you think about the gems that are just objects or decoration(like comby, the balls music player, the sentient walls, and sentient statues) are they an interesting part of gem culture to you?

They are a big fav of mine! I'm currently working on a theory and a gem species around them! They are underappreciated but I get why :/

The (WIP) theory goes like this:

When Peridot got unbubbled, she said "Oh my stars, you're going to harvest me?!" (reacting to the bubbled collection of gemstones) with a pretty scared look and that has stuck with me. "Bubbled Dungeon"

By would gemstones/shards be harvested? To be used to power-up machines? Eh I don't think so. I personally think The Harvest is about reusing gems to make up other types of gems. Like, less evolved-looking/polished gems that are still fully functional, just, completely new. I mean bricks and buildings have to be made from something!

Diamonds can create life (by destroying it) and by proxy, gems carry their essence. Is this too dark. Well it's on the same universe The Cluster exists so idk, this is still a wip. Oops

Now, about these gem creatures:

-Some of them could be decoration with humanoid form because lmao

-Some could be what happened to Lapis Lazuli, being a gemstone stuck on an object to power said object. That's considered a punishment and since it's on homeworld I don't really think that's the case.

-They are actual gems that just happen to be like that? Because some of them CAN MOVE, not sure if all of them can (I mean it would be weird to see an entire bridge move), but they are their own aware individuals that were given the job to be a wall (like Spinel's job was being Pink Diamond's best friend).

I have made some gems around these creatures, here's Ulexite (TV Stone) per example. I'm designing some more too, it's just very interesting for me.

obsessed with the thought that they said explicitly in ntn that only the tomb keeper and her cavalier could approach (and open) the tomb. kiriona says harrow's has no cavaliers living, and yet 8-ish years ago there was a little girl half dead with half a face beneath her nails who approached the tomb. 8 years ago, there was a little girl missing her half her face who followed, and witnessed the opening of the tomb. the reverend daughter and her cavalier, before the tomb; a lock and a key.

So... Okazaki Hanano- or rather, Yume Yonekura thoughts?

//However to say a lot has been discovered about Okazaki in Chapter 3 is a bit of a underestatement so she's getting a bit of a update.

//When we start off Chapter 3, Okazaki is on full blast from Watari since due to her immoral actions in Chapter 2's investigation, people are getting nervous of her. She seems apologetic to Watari and vows she will try to be better...

//Of course we all know that was a fucking lie, since Okazaki doubles down on her tormenting Wada. At first we didn't know why she was doing this other then the lulz but now knowing Okazaki's true nature, I felt she did this to get a rise out of Tsuno given how protective she is over Wada. Heck her savagely beating up Wada was to try and get him away from the 3D printer as she needed to use it for her plans.

//It was foreshadowed about her true nature from how she interacts with Tsuno and people complaining their stuff was going missing as remember when Hirokai was on Harada's case for his drugs being missing? Well...turns out Okazaki has been doing a bit of borrowing without permission, for no other reason then because she can.

//I got some backlash from the Tetro Pink community for calling Okazaki a sociopath due to ableist reasons, now I will like to retract my sociopathic statement on her since a key takeaway from them is that they have no empathy, that caring for others is something they don't instinctively have and have to pretend to care but most of the time they...struggle. Levi from Despair Time is a very good example from this as I do believe he is a sociopath but he behaves more like a realistic portayal of one, someone who tries to blend in and do good but they trying to work out a manual that others just know by instinct. Meanwhile Okazaki does actually care for Watari. Its in a very twisted manner, but she does possess some empathy, so she doesn't fit and Okazaki's twisted behaviour does have another explanation for it.

//I said from the start that she was the most likely person to double murder and I was completely right. I'm just so glad that my mistrust in Okazaki was well placed as well obviously I didn't expect the supervillain twist but let's face it, I don't think anyone did. But her supervillian persona I think has a sad origin behind it as we know she ran away from home and went off to live by herself and after finding out who their mother is, certain behaviour traits make more sense. Most supervillains especially the over the top hammy ones, often have neglectful childhoods and go full ham because they want some level of attention from others as they hate being ignored. This is Okazaki in steroids as she hates the fact that Tsuno, her self-proclaimed arch-nemesis has no idea who she is, and it pisses her off. Okazaki even has a evil laugh "Konkonkonkon" to really hammer it home.

//What I love is when she's going through her breakdown, nobody was taking any manners of this, calling out Okazaki on her stupid reasons to kill, and Wada was almost gonna punch Okazaki but Ojima stopped him, but Ken was ultimately the one who slapped Okazaki, and he berates her for all the horrible shit she's done. Okazaki also manages to be the SECOND person to be the culprit and do a Closing Argument about their own crimes, I said second because sorry Bubbles but Akane Taira did this in Chapter 5 of Danganronpa Another so Okazaki wasn't the first.

//Their execution was as brutal as always as well...not only has Game of Thrones shown how horrible drinking molten gold is, but I believe it was a form of execution in some Mesoamercian Empires and if it was used as that, it shows how horrible it is. And then we get the bombshell that Okazaki's real name is Yume Yonekura, and they are the child of the Mastermind behind the Killing Game.

//I'm not using their real name because its just their birth name, and they have long since discarded it, similar to Mukuro in ASOOT, its not her birth name but we still call her Mukuro. Plus its a horrid reminder that their own mother was the one who killed them for the sake of their experiment. But at the same time, the detached personality of Okazaki, how she doesn't see any issues using immoral acts to get results and acting surprised when people call this out? Seems like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree~

I love my f/o a whole lot and the story is hinting at something bad happening to them and I'm worried I won't be able to handle it when it happens and will cry a bunch. They'll be fine in the end I'm sure but getting to that point is probably going to suck

Also I wish I could make content for my f/o but I'm still really new to drawing and I'm worried I wouldn't be doing them justice and I'm worried people would think my s/i is too self indulgent but we have a very cute dynamic I think

jinwol i think would be the mc suddenly acting not according to their personality and ordering him around? haha! something like grabbing his wrist and dragging him along or suddenly telling him to shut up. or pinning him against a wall. these are not all specific fantasies of his i swear

yul finds vulnerability cute! they get more excited the more flustered the mc gets. i think to them they like feeling like a “special existence” when it comes to the mc, so the more they get the sense that it’s something only THEY can see the more they get butterflies.

iseul is the exact scene of throwing/getting thrown at the end of a duel to a weapon pointing at a vital point and being told something like “i win.” never say she’s not consistent HAHAHA but in more seriousness i think the big hurdle is getting her to realize her own feelings. even the smallest thing will give her butterflies after that! otherwise you could literally be trapped in a small space with her and she’d just say something like “this is cozy!”

??? doesn’t really get butterflies i don’t think, but they get flustered the more incompetent they feel. they sincerely hate feeling powerless in a situation, and the more they start to feel inadequate the more they start to mess up. even so i think the idea of seeing the normally calm-looking ??? turn bright red and start floundering is cute (≧∀≦)
