A few guys (and i mean, like, less than 5 in many years) have tried giving me shit for my fordyce spots. But firstly, one of the very few parts of my body that i like is my dick, so trying to make me feel insecure about it is never gonna happen, i love it and that's that. But also, usually if someome said that i looked diseased, ugly, stuff like that, it'd destroy me. But when guys say it about my fordyce spots, i feel so contented with them that i don't care! Had them all my life, never been an issue, and honestly, i kinda like them as they make me unique, i think i have only ever seen 2 other guys with fordyce spots haha

you're right that I'm not generally in the business of diagnosing people; I have no healthcare expertise and that would be misleading and irresponsible. if you have concerns about something happening with your body, you should seek attention from a healthcare provider as soon as possible.

having said that, human bodies are pretty much made of weird bumps that aren't dangerous. the fact that your bumps aren't causing any pain or discomfort is a particularly promising sign, especially since you're also not at any risk of having an STI. without any further info I'd say there's a good chance they could be fordyce spots, which are nothing but slightly enlarged oil glands that are totally harmless. another google search specifically for "fordyce spots on vulva" may be helpful for comparison!

definitely keep an eye on the situation and seek out care if anything becomes itchy, painful, swollen, or discolored, or if you're feeling anxiety about it that could be put at eases by consulting with a doctor.

hellooooo transmascs people might not tell u this but during bottom growth u might get fordyce spots. this also happens to cis men during puberty and arent something to worry about (as long as they arent itchy or painful- then theyre something else.) theyre oil glands that appear in an odd spot. since testosterone affects all of your glands, this sort of growth is not unusual. basically. do not stress urself out over an off-white spot on ur dick that does not come off during regular hygiene practices ONLY if it does not hurt or itch

When the Bennets arrive home, they meet with Mr. Bennet at the door.

“I hope, my dear, that you have ordered a good dinner today, because I have reason to expect an addition to our family party.” He says, holding up a letter.

Mr. Collins's voice fades out as his carriage wipes through frame revealing Santiago and Charlotte on their way to the butchers.

“His name is Mr. Collins. He's the dreaded cousin.”

“Who’s to inherit?”

“Indeed. Everything, apparently. He may leave us our stays, but even my piano stool belongs to Mr Collins. He can turn us out of the house as soon as he pleases.”

“But why?

“Because the estate is entailed to him and not to us poor souls.”

The Bennets and Mr. Collins are seated formally for supper.

“What a superbly featured room and what excellent boiled potatoes. It is many years since I had such an exemplary vegetable. To which of my fair cousins should I compliment the excellence of the cooking?”

Francisco kicks Santiago under the table. Santiago tries not to laugh at Mr. Collins' answer to him.

“They arise chiefly from what is passing at the time, and though I sometimes amuse myself with arranging such little elegant compliments, I always wish to give them as unstudied an air as possible.”

“Believe me, no one would suspect your manners to be rehearsed.”

Ben suddenly lets off a little explosion of hysteria. A fierce look from Santiago quells it and William pats Ben on the back solicitously.

“After dinner I thought I might read to you all for an hour or two. I have with me Fordyce's sermons, which speak eloquently on all matters moral. Do you know Fordyce's sermons?” Mr. Collins asks to Francisco.

All gathered by the fire through the doorway. Mr Collins leaves the room and takes Mrs Bennet aside to a very discreet conference, out of hearing of anyone else.

“Mrs. Bennet. You do know I have been bestowed by the good grace of Lady Catherine de Bourg a parsonage of no mean size.”

“I have become aware of the facto.”

She pulls Francisco across the duck board spanning the moat. Mr Collins comes out into the back garden. They are nowhere to be seen. He looks around, puzzled.

Santiago, holding Francisco's hand, is still running and laughing as he goes. Francisco is grumbling

Santiago slows, turning around to laugh at Francisco, then turning back and practically winding the tall, blonde officer spotted earlier by Ben. He stands before Santiago, holding a handkerchief that's down fluttered, a witty curl on his exquisite mouth.

“Yours, I believe?”

Santiago is, for a moment, speechless, but then nods and takes the kerchief as William and Ben rush up from behind Wickham.

“ Oh how perfect you are, Mr. Wickham!” Ben sighs.

“ He picked up my glove, too. Did you drop yours on purpose, Santiago?” Will asks.

“ Mr. Wickham's a lieutenant.”

They come into the shop. The others go towards the counter. Wickham hangs back, and smiles a complicit, witty smile at Santiago.

“ Only a man truly confident of himself would admit that.” Santiago says gravely.

“No, it's true. And buckles. When it comes to buckles, I'm lost.”

“Dear oh dear. You must be the shame of the regiment.”

“A laughing-stock.”

“What do your superiors do with you?”

“Ignore me. I'm of next to no importance, so it's easily done.”

On the contrary, Wickham is almost impossible to ignore. Santiago tears his eyes from the winsome features as Ben grabs his sleeve. .

January 3rd the year 671 saw the birth in Ireland of Saint Maelrubha, a monk who founded a monastery at what is now Applecross.

On his father's side Maelrubha was eighth in descent from the famous Niall of the Nine Hostages, King of Ireland, and through his mother he belonged to the kindred of St Congal of Bangor. He was born on 3rd January 642 AD, probably in the south-east part of what is now Londonderry.

After residing for some time in the monastery at Bangor, he embarked for Scotland in 671 AD. His early missionary enterprises were concentrated in districts now included in Argyll, planting churches at Kilarrow in Islay, and on the mainland at Killarow in the modern Killean and Kilchenzie parish; Kilmory, now Strathlachlan parish; and Kilmorrie near Dunstaffnage Castle.

In 673AD St Maelrubha arrived at Apercrossan, now Applecross, in Ross-shire, and made it the nucleus of his Christian missionary work throughout that part of the west coast and eastwards as far as the shores of the North Sea. He continued to be the abb of the muinntir for an incredible fifty-one years and died on 21st April 722AD. The privileged ground around the monastery, its garth or sanctuary, extended six miles in all directions and came to be known in the Gaelic as A'Chomraich, i.e. the sanctuary, a name still applied in the Highlands to the present parish of Applecross.

Not surprisingly, Maelrubha was considered to be, "the patron of all the coast, from Applecross to Loch Broom." Traditions in the Black Isle tell us that St Maelrubha was martyred in the parish of Urquhart and that his body was carried back to Applecross for interment.

According to another tradition, he was killed by Scandinavian pirates in Strathnaver in Sutherland, and was buried at a spot close to the river Naver, about nine miles from its mouth. It is said that the spot was marked by a rough stone bearing an incised cross.

You have to make your choices in these matters but personally, I favour the Strathnaver version of the story. The churches of Forres in Moray and Fordyce in Banffshire were dedicated to St Laurence and St Talarican respectively but, since there was, in each of these parishes, a fair - known as Samareve's in the former,and New Summaruff's in the latter - the reader might conclude that there must have been some dedication to St Maelrubha in both parishes. There was also a Samarive's Fair in the parish of Keith, whose church was under the invocation of Maelrubha, giving the township its ancient name of 'Kethmalruf'. These are possible exaamples of old "Celtic dedications" being supplanted with new dedications which were more acceptable to the medieval Church as it became more Roman in its outlook.

The community at Applecross played a major rôle in the advent of Christianity in the north and north-west of Scotland. It acted, in those parts, in the same way that Iona did in Dalriada and the western isles. It is not surprising to find that its influence spread as far as the north east.

I've been taking testerone for about 5 months now. For about a month or so now ive been getting a lot of spots develop in and around both my vulva and vagina. It's never truly bothersome (except when im masturbating ig bevause they're quite sore), and they go away after a little while but they consistently come back.

I initially figured that it's just because of normal hormone changes and is as to be expected, but i thought i should also check with someone to be safe. Do you think this is something i should be concerned about and if so is there anything i should be doing to take better care of it? Is it just bad hygiene on my part?

although it is important to keep your vulva clean (doubly so because of some of the effects of taking T, which we're going to discuss in a second), you can stop worrying that this a personal hygiene problem. it's probably quite a bit more complicated than that!

by scouring one of my most reliable resources (the depths of trans reddit) I've got a couple of possibilities for you:

straight up acne. an influx of testosterone can cause acne outbreaks anywhere and everywhere, including on the vulva. definitely consistent with your spots coming and going, as well as the sensitivity? could definitely be worsened by sweat if testosterone is making you sweaty, as it does to so many people. a DIY hot compress is easy to make and can help clear up stubborn, painful acne.

fordyce spots. these are caused by, basically, a condition that makes your oil glands overgrow, similar to acne but generally without irritation. however, the spots can be itchy to the touch, which may explain your discomfort while masturbating? note that these are most common during the hormonal shifts of puberty, which very much includes the induced second puberty of hormone replacement.

ingrown hairs. once again, would explain the coming and going, as well as the sensitivity! this is common for a lot of people on T experiencing new hair growth, and can be helped by just giving your pubic hair regular trims with clean scissors. shaving can be harsh on your skin and cause the hair to grow back in ways that are more likely to become ingrown, but a little snip is much easier on your body and likely to help clear that right up.
