tfa spoiled me. in tfa finn was the unlikely hero who turned against the imperialist institution that stole him from his family and stripped him of his identity, who had a strong potential for the force sensitivity his abusers hold sacred, who joined the resistance not because of plot contrivance or interpersonal drama but because he was good and kind and had empathy for the victims of the first order, who was loved by the beautiful poe dameron after saving his life and completing his mission, whom rare prodigy rey set aside her defense mechanisms to trust because he treated her well when no one else did, and tlj expected me to be ok with seeing all this potential go to waste and watching finn ridiculed and isolated because lf wanted to redeem the white fascist.
