London hasnt seen a case this high profile since the case of Harold Shipman, who killed up to 250 victims. Many feared this may be another case of Jack The Ripper, as they double checked their doors at night, hoping the serial killer wasn’t going to show up at their door. The relief that washed over the town when the police had finally caught the man whom they think is responsible for the latest killings of 20 men and women. The scenes were too graphic to show on tv.

Y/N ended up with the case. The crime scene photos were unnerving to her and interviewing the victims families made it even worse. Bile creeping up throat as she read the horrific things that happened to each victim. She wanted to know this case by the back of her hand, because of course she was up against one of the top defense attorneys in the country. He rather lost and found plot holes in every single case, having a 97% success rate with getting his clients off the hook and their record clear. She thought noone would pick up the mans case, there was so much evidence that pointed towards the man.

Harry was attractive, tall, dark hair and those piercing greenish hazel eyes. Y/N was nervous and she hated being that way. Harry often came by the law firm, having connections with anyone and everyone. His career was unmatched, he was handsome, wealthy, the whole package. Yet he was single and that blew Y/N’s mind.

Harry was just as shocked as Y/N to learn they’d facing each other in court. He was certain his client did it, but, he had to defend him anyways. He was called by the court to do it pro bono, as noone else wanted to take the case. If he lost, his numbers would certainly be impacted. If he won, people may look at him differently in a moral sense. Surely though there was a plot hole and the prosecution would slip up. He couldnt believe it was Y/N who got the case. Soft, shy, gorgeous Y/N. He already developed this small crush on her and now he had to take her on in court? Surely this wasnt a good thing. It had to be God punishing him for helping criminals and making a good living while doing so. Harry always viewed her as the more submissive type and his dirty thoughts were hard to keep at bay. Maybe that was the reason God was punishing him.

While Harry laid awake, staring at the ceiling, Y/N was doing the same. Y/N had never seen Harry in action, but, she’s heard how he’s always been strict and concise in the court room. His dominant side coming out, and that scared Y/N. Especially because she imagined him being dominant somewhere else, mainly at night when she lay in bed alone with her thoughts and hands.

With peace and power dynamics between the 3 realms being mentioned as fragile, exactly why Diavolo rejected the idea of marriage when asked in S3 by the brothers, wouldn’t it then be considered risky to, publicly at the very least, date the demon/ angel from the realm they reside in?

MC, the sorcerer that surpassed their master who is deemed the most powerful sorcerer himself, considered a powerful weapon, with an (unstable, without protection from the ring of light) immense amount of magic, in a relationship with demon/ angel could be considered they've sided with the realm their lover resides in.

The topic (and unused potential) of the tension between the 3 realms, how MC affected that during S2, and wether choosing a lover within a realm they don’t belong in would be a risky decision.

Just that. No punctuation, no explanation. But you’ve waited so long to hear anything, to get even a glimpse of the version of him that seemed to vanish after the charity event, that it doesn’t matter.

You agree without hesitation.

Ten-thirty. The quiet courtyard near the philosophy building, lit only by old lampposts and the silver glow of the moon.

When you arrive, he’s already there, leaning against a bench in his long coat, eyes fixed on the pavement. The night air is cool, crisp enough that it bites the skin, but he’s not wearing gloves. His hair is slightly disheveled, the first two buttons of his shirt undone. He looks exhausted, but still so unmistakably him.

You clear your throat to announce your presence. He lifts his head. For a moment, neither of you speak.

“I had to sneak out,” he finally mutters. “My parents are… not thrilled with me right now.”

You take slow steps forward, sitting down at the other end of the bench. “Because of Ayaka?”

Nanami nods stiffly. “They think I embarrassed her. They don’t know what she said about you. Or maybe they wouldn’t care.” He exhales sharply. “It doesn’t matter.”

You glance at him, then away. “It kind of does.”

He’s quiet.

“Why did you stop talking to me?” you ask. It’s not an accusation. Just the question that’s been gnawing at you, hollowing out your chest with every day that passed.

“I panicked,” he admits. “That night… the kiss. It felt like I’d crossed a line I didn’t even know I was afraid of. You were everything I told myself I didn’t want. Or couldn’t want. Not with who I’m supposed to be.”

You swallow. “That doesn’t explain why you acted like I didn’t exist.”

He flinches. “I know. I was cruel. I told myself I was protecting you. That pushing you away would be better than dragging you into everything else. But that’s a lie. I wasn’t protecting you. I was protecting myself.”

You don’t answer. The silence is heavy, a weight between you both.

“I saw you with Ren,” he says after a while. “A few times.”

“Are you asking me about him?”

“I’m…” He hesitates, clearly struggling. “Curious. Maybe more than I should be.”

You lean back slightly, your shoulder brushing his. “You don’t have to pretend not to be jealous. You’re really bad at it.”

Nanami sighs and rests his face in his hands. “I’m not used to this. The feeling. Or you.”

You smile, just a little. “It was only a few dates. We didn’t click. He’s not… you.”

That gets his attention. He turns to look at you, eyes narrowing like he’s trying to decipher whether you mean it. “Really?”

“Really. I tried. You were shutting me out. I needed something else to focus on.” You pause. “But no one ever felt right.”

Nanami’s eyes fall shut for a moment. “I’m sorry,” he says. “I mean it. I should’ve said that the second you answered my text.”

“You hurt me.” The words come out softer than you expect. “I wanted to believe you were different.”

“I am.” His voice is firm now. “But I’m also… a coward sometimes. I let fear speak for me, and I let my parents’ voices in my head drown out my own. And I regret it. Every minute of it.”

You look at him, really look. His shoulders are tense, but there’s vulnerability in his posture—something raw and rare. “This is your last chance,” you say gently. “I can’t keep getting pulled in and pushed away. You don’t get to do that anymore.”

Nanami nods, swallowing hard. “I won’t. I promise. I’ll prove it.”

You believe him.

Slowly, carefully, you lean your head against his shoulder. He freezes for a second, then relaxes, shifting closer. His arm lifts and settles around you, anchoring you there. The cold night fades a little.

Neither of you speak for a while. The silence now is different. Comfortable. Earned.

Then, cautiously, he clears his throat. “So… are you gonna go on any more dates with him?”

You lift your head just enough to look at him. “Jealousy doesn’t look good on you.”

He groans. “I knew I shouldn’t have asked.”

“You really shouldn’t have,” you tease, then soften. “But no. I told you, I’m not interested in Ren.”

He exhales in relief, quiet but unmistakable. “Good.”

You smile, heart warmer now than it’s been in weeks. “Your turn. What was Ayaka like?”

Nanami makes a face. “Artificial. And condescending. And mean. And—” He stops himself, then glances at you. “She said horrible things about you. About your family. About the work you do. And I let it go too long. But I finally said something. Walked out.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Really?”

“I couldn’t listen to it.” His jaw tightens. “It made me sick. I should’ve said something earlier. I should’ve defended you the way you deserved to be defended from the start.”

“Better late than never,” you say, voice soft. “But you have to mean it.”

“I do.” He shifts, turning to face you more fully. “I want to fix everything. Not just what I did wrong. I want to be better for you. Not perfect, just… honest. Brave. Present.”

You watch him for a beat. His eyes don’t waver.

Then he leans in a little, hesitation in every motion. “Can I kiss you?”

You nod once. “Yes.”

And he does.

His lips meet yours slowly, with an intensity that says I’m sorry, and I missed you, and please let this mean something. You kiss him back with all the ache and hope and confusion that’s lived in your chest since the very beginning.

It’s passionate, but not rushed. Like something important, finally being spoken in a language only the two of you understand.

When you part, he rests his forehead against yours.

“I’ll mean it,” he whispers. “Every day from now on.”

Coriolanus Snow felt his nerves getting the best of him. He felt shivers going down his spine as Lucy Gray and him got closer and closer to their destination.

He was supposed to meet the rest of the Covey, her family, today. Lucy Gray held his hand tightly, squeezing it a bit more as she noticed just how nervous he truly seemed to be.

It didn't comfort him much.

Not her hand in his, it felt too small now. Nor her presence next to him. It didn't excite him as much as it did once. Yet he loved her, right?

As they finally got to the lake the lake he noticed a group of people sitting by the edge of the lake.

He could practically feel the excitement radiating off of Lucy Gray as he noticed one of them turned around noticing them and taping the ones close to gain their attention to the arrivals, too.

Coriolanus felt truly, utterly, stupid for a bit as he stood a few feet away from Lucy Gray's, obviously favorite, cousin as he held a young, brightly yellow, daffodil that he found by the edge of the forest, not that far away from the lake where the rest of the Covey were.

He didn't know why did he do it. He didn't know why would he pick a flower and give it to you. He just figured that the flower was pretty (just like you were) and that you will probably like it.

But deep down he knew, but just yet wouldn't admit it to himself.

"For you."

You looked up, your eyes meeting with gorgeous blue ones as he held out a gorgeous daffodil to you. You couldn't help but to laugh out loud at the irony that consumed you.

Coriolanus watched you laugh, he never heard a sound as angelic as this, not even when he heard Lucy Gray sing.

He hated himself for it. He hated himself for wanting to bottle up that angelic laugh and keep it for himself, to protect it, to own it. But he couldn't help but to wonder why are you laughing.

"What's funny if I may ask?" He gently asked, afraid that you were laughing at him, finding his stupidity oh so amazing. He was scared of rejection, but why?

He's with Lucy Gray.

"It's just-" Your laughter turned into a giggle, Coriolanus felt blood suddenly rushing into his cheeks as he heard the sound that you were making, because of him.

"Daffodils are my favorite flowers, it's a little funny that you picked a random flower and guessed this."

Coriolanus couldn't help himself. He found himself laughing too as he sat down and got to know you.

The day passed quickly, probably because he spent it with you. So as he stepped away from you after saying goodbye and as he slipped his hand into Lucy Gray's hand he knew he fucked up.

The way his chest tightened when you laughed, the way his hand accidentally brushed against yours when you talked he realized that it fit his perfectly. Like it was made to be held by him. The way that your hair fell in front of your eyes, shielding them from him... all he wanted was to brush it away, yet he knew he couldn't.

And as Lucy Gray talked about how happy she was that he got along with everyone amazingly, he knew he fucked up because he realized that he fell in love with you even though he knew that he shouldn't have.

Coriolanus instantly saw red the moment he realized that he harshly grabbed your hand, not letting you go. The fear in your eyes was enough to set Coriolanus to move toward the stage as quickly as he could.

He still doesn't remember how that happened, but he grabbed Thomas by his shoulders as he planted his fist directly into his face, blood spraying his fist the moment it locked onto Thomas' face.

He heard you gasp at the sight, but he didn't stop.

Coriolanus pushed Thomas onto the floor as he started to beat the audacity out of him. You never saw him this angry before.

You quickly, somehow, snapped out of the shock and started to try and pull Coriolanus off of him because you realized that if you didn't do something, he will kill him in front of you.

And it's not like Thomas didn't deserve it, but you didn't want Coryo to get into more trouble now that he had finally somewhat gotten his life into control.

Sejanus Plinth saw what happened. He was quick to join you and started to pull Coriolanus off of Thomas. He lucky succeed because he was stronger. He was a Peacekeeper after all.

You felt panic arise into your throat as you looked around and realized that almost everyone was staring at you.

Without spearing Thomas a second glance, you ran after Coriolanus and Sejanus. Your mind racing, what will Lucy Gray think? Why did her love beat up her cousin's ex in front of more than half of District 12.

Once you pushed yourself through the crowd you finally reached the outside where you saw Coriolanus spitting some blood from his mouth, your heart braking at the sight.

"What did you think that you were doing?!" You couldn't help to yell at him as you finally reached him.

"He was lucky I didn't kill him." Coriolanus answered calmly as he rubbed his lips to get rid of the blood.

"You can't do that, Coryo!" You continued, finally spilling your emotions out in front of the man you loved.

"So what?!" Coriolanus raised his voice now, too. "I could've just let that bastard touch you against your will?!"

"No!" You ran your hands through your hair in frustration. "But what would Lucy Gray think if she saw you doing that?"

You were so scared.

Was he not thinking rationally?

"I don't care." He answered, truthfully, you knew that and it scared you.

For a moment you were quiet until he spoke up again.

"You know I love you, right?" He asked you, peeking at you in the night, moonlight reflected the beauty of his deep blue eyes.

"No..." You felt every last bit of air leave your lungs as you spoke, panic raising in your chest. "You can't love me, Coryo."

"Why not?" He asked in frustration, his chest moving up and down in desperate attempt to calm himself, to try and rid himself of this injustice.

"Don't-" your voice broke. "Don't do this to me." You begged.

He gently grabbed your hand and your breath quickened, it was nothing like when Thomas grabbed you earlier. This was soft, caring even as he brought your body closer to his.

"Tell me why." He was begging now, oh God how much did he hate this. "Tell me that you don't love me."

"I-"

"Look me in the eyes, (Y/N), and tell me that you don't love me and I will walk away." Coriolanus spoke, his breath on your cold cheeks as he spoke. "Look me in the eyes and tell me that you don't want me."

"Coryo-"

"Break my heart the way it's supposed to happen." He breathed out. "Go on."

"I-" You took a deep breath, meeting his eyes not realizing that you're crying. "I love you, but I can't."

"(Y/N)-"

"You can want to love me and I can do that too, but I can't do it to my cousin." You spoke separating yourself from him as you left him in the middle of the cold night, tears streaming down your cheeks as you went.

Lucy Gray.

And I'd sing a song that'd be just ours

And I wanna cry, I wanna learn to love

But all my tears have been used up

"Your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep."

Lucy Gray's voice echoed through the bar as she played the guitar and sang the song you wrote.

You told the Covey you weren't really feeling good so you decided to stay backstage as you listened to Lucy Gray and the rest of the Covey, and watched the crowd singing and dancing the the words that you poured out from the depths of your heart.

Your eyes were searching for Coriolanus in the bar and after a while you finally found him.

He was sitting on a par of turned-over buckets with Sejanus. He was wearing simple clothes instead of his Peacekeeper uniform, but he was still wearing his dog tag that initiated that he had probably finished his shift and he decided to show up here.

You couldn't do this.

Lucy Gray's voice was happily singing away at the cords and lyrics that were written by you as she kept her eyes looked onto Coriolanus' blue ones.

His eyes were sparkling, but not as much as they did when he was with you.

Lucy Gray was so happy with him. So full of joy, and you were so happy for her, but fuck... you loved him, too.

You knew that he loved her, but you also knew that perhaps he loved you more. Yet you knew that you couldn't and wouldn't ever break Lucy Gray's heart like that. She was your cousin and you knew that guilt would be eating you alive, it already did.

So with a tear sliding down your cheek you listened to her sing before you turned around and left.

"And all at once, you are the one I have been waiting for,

King of my heart, body and soul"

Coriolanus Snow really tried to keep his eyes on her, but once she sang that his gaze found your (Y/H/C) for a moment before it disappeared behind the curtains. His chest tightened at the sight and at the words that you wrote for him.

You were like a delicate flower, like an angel sent to guide him. You were eveything that he needed, a daffodil in the middle of the winter.

But he couldn't have you and you couldn't have him. It's just the way it had to be, no matter how painful it was.

Asian dramas and Love tropes

There are my favorite characters and their love stories as a list. Enemies to lovers

Drama: Her Royal Highness/长公主在上 Characters: Gu Xuanqing x Li Yunzhen Screentime: Main A boy is sent to be a servant in the unruly princess`s palace in order to find some dirt about her and to help his master to overthrown her, but something goes wrong... The HE is attached.

Drama: The Legends/招摇 Characters: Li Chenlan x Lu Zhaoyao Screentime: Main A leader of a demonic sect died trying to get a demonic sword. Her soul returns to the world full of wish to get revenge on the current leader of her sect, who, as she thinks, killed her in the past. Found the way to be close to him, she learns that he wasn't the reason of her death and, moreover, desperately in love with her for many-many years. This is an adaptation of the novel "Ostentatious Zhaoyao", which I love more than a drama, but it's a good story in both variants. The HE is attached (although it`s a little bit obscure in the drama).

Drama: Till the End of the Moon/ 长月烬明 Characters: Tantai Jin x Li Susu Screentime: Main A boy who is destined to become a Demon God and to destroy the World tries to fight his doom. In a process, he falls in love with a transmigrator, who was sent 500 years back in the past to prevent his transformation into a Demon God. The irony is,making him falling in love is the only way to kill him for good... It`s an adaptation of the novel "Black Moonlight Holds the BE Script", which I like way-way-way more than the drama, not the least because the drama has BE and the novel has HE. I just watched it as a visually beautiful fanfic to the novel.

Drama: Love Between Fairy and Devil /苍兰诀 Characters: Dongfang Qingcang x Xiao Lanhua Screentime: Main My favorite drama of all times! Trying to save her love, a girl accidently falls into a secret prison for immortal criminals, revives the most fearsome demon of all times and heals his ability to feel. Later, forced to spend his time together with the girl from the enemy camp, the demon finds out that he actually likes her... The HE is attached. I wrote A LOT about them and made recap of the whole drama from the point of their relationship development in these posts: one, two, three, four, five and six.

Drama: My Journey to You /云之羽 Characters: Gong Shangjue x Shangguan Qian Screentime: Secondary In order to destroy the martial artist's clan, a female assassin was sent in there. While she is trying to seduce one of clan's young masters, he tries to expose her lies, but, eventually, falls in love with her. Unrequited. Maybe. This story has an open ending. My analysis of their relationship is here.

Drama: Butterflied lover /风月变 Characters: Ling Changjin x Bao Zhu Screentime: Secondary A wicked nobleman marries a princess because of her miraculous blood: it`s able to bring his zombie sister back to life. The princess allows him to treat her bad because she has been in love with him for a long time and believes he is a good person. Bit by bit he starts believe in it himself and begins to cherish his wife more... The ending is obscure (in a traditional Chinese way).

Drama: Moonlight Mystique /白月梵星 Characters: Fu Ling x Chong Zhao Screentime: Secondary The most wildest version of the trope. The story starts with the confrontation between an absolutely ruthless demon girl general and a righteous boy from immortal clan. Then the girl falls for him, turns him into her side (kind of) and they become a villain power couple! After that they both change their side and enjoy a bit of normal life as good guys! And the last twist: the righteous guy turns to be a Demon God, as ruthless as the demon girl at the beginnings but the girl stays the same righteous. Yes, it all happens in one single cdrama. And of course there is no HE for these guys, but the philosophy behind this particular type of BE is beautiful. The full recap of their relationship is here and here.

Drama: The Blue Whisper /与君初相识 Characters: Li Shu x Xue Sanyue Screentime: Minor A cat demon prince infiltrates the valley of demon hunters in order to set free the great demoness, but falls in love with one of demon hunters. Mutually. The ending is traditionally Chinese - they met again in another life. Т_Т

Drama: Immortal Samsara / 沉香如屑 Characters: Xuan Ye x Ran Qing Screentime: Minor An Asura king infiltrates the Heavenly Realm in order to steal the artifact that can help him conquering the world. The keeper of this artefact is a brave and honest goddess and he can't help but fall in love with her. After, he needs to choose: to be with his lover or to rule the world. He wants all at once, but there is no way to get it all. No HE for this pair. Pride and Prejudice

Drama: Lighter and Princess / 点燃我 Characters: Li Xun x Zhu Yun Screentime: Main A girl from a rich family with an anxious type of attachment falls in love with her classmate from a poor family with an avoidant type of attachment and tries to win his heart. It`s a problematic ship in a full meaning of these words and I like it this way. Yummy! The HE is attached.

Drama: Derailment /脱轨 Characters: Qi Lian x Jiang Xiaoyuan Screentime: Main A boy accidently meets his school sweetheart after many years of radio silence and understands that something is wrong with her. It turns out that her body is occupied by a transmigrator from a parallel world. At first he hates transmigrator for replacing his lover, but bit by bit he learns, that a transmigrator has not only the same appearance but the same habits and way of thinking, and falls in love with this new personality again... The story ends with HE but not in a way that you may think it would.

Drama: The Love by Hypnotic /明月照我心 Characters: Li Qian x Li Mingyue Screentime: Main In order to build relationship between two countries an emperor arranges marriage for his son. His fiancée is from a barbaric tribe: she is good at horse riding and archery, but knows nothing about palace etiquette and ladies stuff. It`s a light and sweet story about finding a path to each other's heart. The HE is attached.

Drama: The Long Ballad /长歌行 Characters: Hao Du x Li Leyan Screentime: Secondary A tsundere of a low background with a poker face does his ruthless job in a court, that's why a young princess thinks he is an awful man and is scared of him. But in reality he is a loyal servant and son and, moreover, secretly in love with the princess, who can't stand him... The HE is attached.

Drama: Miss the Dragon /遇龙 Characters: Xue Qianxun x Qingqing Screentime: Secondary A very naïve bird demon girl accidently meets a tsundere god of netherworld and turns his well ordered life into havoc. He starts liking it, though. The HE is attached. Forbidden love

Drama: A Frozen Flower /쌍화점 Characters: Hong Rim x No Guk Screentime: Main A gay king needs a heir, so he forces his lover to conceive a child with a queen. In a process, a boy, who was groomed as a king's lover from his childhood, finds out that he likes women much more than men. A traditional Korean tragedy. Very beautiful and full of feelings, though. (No GIFs because they all would be erotic ones).

Drama: 100 Days My Prince /백일의 낭군님 Characters: Moo-yeon x Kim So-hye Screentime: Secondary An assassin who is working for a wicked court official is secretly in love with a wife of a crown prince, who happens to be a daughter of the killer of his parents. Forbidden love doubles! But it's mutual, unfortunately for him. It's a very beautiful and full of desperation and feelings story. No HE, we die like Koreans. Drama: The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity/晴雅集 Characters: He Shouye x Zhang Ping Screentime: Secondary A woman, who is destined to restrain the undying evil within her body for eternity in solitude, falls in love with Yin-Yang master. Her love is mutual, but her lover can't be with her forever, so he leaves with her his guardian demon to brighten her loneliness. Protecting her for ever starts being the only goal of demon's life... A tragedy, but a beautiful one.

Drama: The Legends/招摇 Characters: Gu Hanguang x Shen Qianjin Screentime: Minor "The Legends" once more! The main doctor of a demonic sect is in love with a leader of a righteous sect. A girl is not allowed to love anyone, otherwise she will suffer from the poison, so he anonymously sends her packages of medicinal herbs. She is curious about anonymous sender, too. But nothing can be kept in secret forever... Unfortunately, no HE for these two. In the novel he is safe and sound, but he has no love plotline at all. So is a price of love Т_Т.

Ok, I never thought I would have to make this post but here we go (this fandom never fails to surprise me with its blatant ignorance).

Why Feysand not elriel is the Hades and Persephone trope

As we know from Greek mythology Persephone was the daughter of Demeter (the goddess of nature, agriculture, and harvest). She is a vegetation goddess, associated with flowers, spring, and innocence. She lived peacefully on Earth under her mother’s watchful eye. Hades was the god of the dead and ruler of the Underworld.

Rhysand is the High Lord of the Night Court. His character is heavily inspired by Hades, who rules the underworld, and the devil a bat winged man who rules hell (the Court of Nightmares).

Although, Feyre isn't associated with nature or flowers the way Elain is, she's Tamlin's bride and lives in the Spring Court.

Zeus, it is said, permitted Hades, who was in love with the beautiful Persephone, to abduct her as her mother Demeter was not likely to allow her daughter to go down to Hades. Persephone was gathering flowers in a field when Hades came to abduct her, bursting through a cleft in the earth.

After Persephone had disappeared, Demeter searched for her all over the earth with Hecate's torches. In most versions, she forbids the earth to produce, or she neglects the earth and, in the depth of her despair, she causes nothing to grow. Helios, the Sun, who sees everything, eventually told Demeter what had happened and at length she discovered where her daughter had been taken. Zeus, pressed by the cries of the hungry people and by the other deities who also heard their anguish, forced Hades to return Persephone.

When Hades was informed of Zeus' command to return Persephone, he complied with the request, but he first tricked her into eating pomegranate seeds. Hermes was sent to retrieve Persephone but, because she had tasted the food of the underworld, she was obliged to spend a third of each year (the winter months) there, and the remaining part of the year with the gods above.

In acotar, during Feyre's first trial, she hurts her arm, which is left unattended by Amarantha and the other faeries. One night, Rhysand manages to get into Feyre's cell and offers her healing in exchange for spending two weeks out of every month in the Night Court. Feyre initially disagrees, and Rhysand grabs the shard of bone that sticks out of her arm and twisting. After this torture and noticing that she will almost certainly die from the infection before Lucien can sneak away to help her, she realizes she has no other choice. She negotiates to lower the terms to only one week per month. Once they both agree, Rhysand grabs her injured arm and painfully heals her. A black tattoo with a cat's eye in the palm of her hand appears on her left arm as a permanent reminder of the deal she struck.

The parallel between Feysand and Hades and Persephone, is basically their bargain. Feyre is obliged to spend three weeks in Spring and one week in the Night Court (the underworld).

Moreover, on the day of her wedding, Feyre decides to stop the wedding. Suddenly Rhysand appears to take Feyre away to the Night Court, calling in the bargain she made with him Under the Mountain.

The way Rhysand appears to take her parallels the way Persephone was abducted. Persephone was in a flower field-> Feyre was in the Spring Court, ready to marry the High Lord of the Spring Court and become Lady of the Spring. Hades came to abduct her, bursting through a cleft in the earth-> Rhysand came to take her, "thunder cracked... as if two boulders had been hurled against each other."

The myth of Hades and Persephone beautifully illustrates the cycle of life, death, and renewal. When Persephone ascends from the Underworld, her mother’s joy brings spring and summer to the Earth. When she returns to Hades, Demeter’s sorrow ushers autumn and winter.

On a deeper level, the story reflects the agricultural cycle. Persephone’s time above ground mirrors the planting and growth of crops, while her descent to the Underworld represents the barren winter months.

We see that Persephone isn't only associated with flowers and spring, but also the cycle of life (birth, death and rebirth), immortality, resurrection and the Underworld. Feyre left Spring Court, went utm where she died, was resurrected and was given immortality. She married Rhysand and became High Lady of the Night Court.

That's why Feysand is the Hades and Persephone trope.

So for Azriel and Elain to be Hades and Persephone, they would have to be in some sort of bargain that obliges Elain to spend time with him. This has already been done with feysand and there's no way sjm will write the same trope over and over again.
