getting involved in what's happening in your town is cool, 10/10 would recommend.
#to be fair I'm only doing it second hand through my mom. bc she's in a local political party. and I can't really go anywhere.#but I did give her an idea recently and she talked about it at a meeting and today the mayor talked about it apparently 😇#doddie redet#but it can also be sucks bc my mom has to deal with sexism and not being taken seriously etc etc#for years she fought for a public bathroom (which we're getting soon! yay!) and called crazy by everyone else#and now she has new things she wants for the town and she told me that someone said 'She got the bathroom and now she wants more??'#like. yes. that's how it works. one thing done let's do more.
