one thing about me is i'm certifiably unhinged and instead of prioritizing a normal yarn weight for a blanket i instead prioritized COLOR (typical me i'm afraid but i wanted it to give 2022 reverse retro) and now this blanket is 325 stitches across and has tiny cute little stitches and i am going to develop carpal tunnel syndrome for real instead of just joking about it

#this necessitated several things including: doing a straight stockinette stitch instead of something more complicated #for the sake of like. not having to strenuously count bc this is a blanket for working on while watching television LOL #also because stockinette inevitably curls at the edges i Will need to decide at some point whether that is just a charming feature #or whether i want to add some sort of lining when it's finished to both give it more weight and to prevent that #but i kind of like the idea of the very lightweight blanket like i live in TEXAS u know. we'll see we'll see #i could of course also add a garter/seed stitch border but hand on god i don't know if i bought enough yarn for that LOL #meg.txtpost
