EPISODE 2 - “Landen’s Going Home” - Emma

Billy's back! If we lose I am screwed heavily, though I do think there's a chance. Slide puzzles aren't my thing, so hoping for the best out of this.

Kathy, I'm voting for you. Bailey had a good excuse for not doing the challenge, and I haven't heard anything from you, whatsoever. Hate to say it, but your ass is grass, pal. 

i'm gonna be a lazy bitch and do a written confessional this round bc i look too ugly for a video. so, basically after the events that transpired last round, jordan came begging at my feet for my forgiveness after lying to me about the vote. he doesn't realize that i knew what he was doing before the fact thanks to sammy, so i just played along and acted like i didn't know and told him that i understood his perspective and understand him lying to me. but believe me, a bitch never forgets being lied to. like, if he can so easily lie to me this early in the game, how am i supposed to trust him going forward? i guess it doesn't really matter because he's he easy boot if we happen to lose again before a swap. but i think i did a good job of making him feel like i wasn't mad so that he will trust me in the event of a swap or if we lose again he won't vote me. also, i'm pretty confident that both sammy and caeleb consider me their closest ally. they both tell me about their findings in the village so i'm getting two people per round telling me where not to go, so that's super helpful. i could see the three of us going far but i'm sure that the two of them will go for each other eventually, especially if they are both competing to have me be their number one. i'm fine with it tbh. sammy also got a vote block from the village. so now he has an idol that lasts for two more tribals, and a vote block lasting for one more tribal. so definitely think sammy is of more use to me at the moment especially since he has all of these advantages. my tribe won immunity this round which is nice. i'm glad i can just relax and not worry about a tribal. i hope we can keep winning until a swap bc i think all 3 people left on my tribe could be of use to me. also fuck connor, he told everyone at the arena that me and caeleb have a premade, as if we even knew each other before this game. someone is bitter that he couldn't make relationships and was first boot. so im sure that information is spreading around and i should probably worry about that. but oh well, i'm just gonna focus on winning for now! woo go me.

Alright, so here we are, the first loss of the 2020 Tumblr Olympics.   Sure, we may have had the Silver medal bonus for that challenge, but the tribe just isn't suited I guess towards slide puzzles, and plus Bailey was busy so wasn't able to compete like we had hoped.  It's all good though, as I always say that life comes before an online game, so nothing but respect.  Anyways, I formed a three person alliance with Beck & Ben, basically as far as I am aware, us three are the most active on the tribe, and really only ones that talk much on the tribe, so basically they are the only two I really connected with enough to be able to put my trust in, just hopefully this alliance all works out for now.   Then in terms of this vote, I feel it will be Kathy going, as she just doesn't seem all too dedicated towards the game/is a little inactive, and not talking really to anybody, so even though I do like Kathy, just inside this game, at least at this stage of the game, we need tribe strength, and she just isn't going to be putting that through whilst not being as active as others.   Anything can happen though, and there is still the arena yet so who knows, the person voted out of this tribe could end up coming back with a gold medal.

i'm pretty sad that my tribe is going to tribal but at the same time i'm confident i won't be leaving, mostly because 2/5 of our tribe members aren't very active. i also have this alliance with ben and darcy now which seems like a strong trio, so even though we lost immunity it could be a LOT worse. unfortunately the downside is that if we're voting out kathy (which is most likely) she's probably too inactive to do the arena challenge, so we're not gonna get any medals in the arena... but that's alright i suppose, we just have to work hard for the next one. if ben can't participate in the next immunity challenge i feel like our tribe is gonna be in a really tough spot. but i'm praying for the best anyway.

Not gonna lie, slide puzzles are awful for immunity challenges, especially if the RNG is manipulated just right. There's a way to solve them correctly every time, but to do it in the minimal number of moves requires that everything go your way in terms of luck. I'll take the L, but I am not happy. 

i’m honestly so frustrated that emma didn’t even submit but! she’s such a sweetheart that i felt really awful voting to get her out, but that was just a lil. hm. also apparently i’m close to her now? so that was inch resting to hear. thank u billy

Landons going home 

my truth is that i keep forgetting check my skype and i want my teammates to glock me and vote me out 

Even with the gold medal I won, we still somehow end up going to tribal. Tell me, HOW THE FUCK DO WE MANAGE TO DO SOMETHING LITERALLY SO ASTRONOMICAL?! It drives me mad how we had such a big advantage...christ. Anyway, a few things I'm thinking about heading into tribal. A) Everyone voted me last time, so I'm playing this one a little more no holds barred. B) I'm thinking about what's the biggest advantage to me whether the person I vote out comes back or fucks off into 24th place. C) I couldn't care less about how we're doing in challenges at the moment. I want people who'll be loyal to me, and in return people that I can put my faith in. Right now, that's Emma and Emma only. However, she didn't participate in the challenge, so it's a little bit of an awkward situation. I know that Landen, can be an extremely good player UTR heading later into the game, and to be honest I feel like he's a bit shady. So, adios to him. I get Emma and Juls vote, and Jacob if he cares enough, easy done. I'm 99% sure tribal will go my way tonight, here's to hoping the odds are in my favour!

I am now apparently a swing vote somehow someway. Landen or Emma goes. I would prefer to vote out neither of them, but hey, I could end up going to. Were you expecting something better? nah. Five player tribes SUCK. Billy and Landen are battling for control of the tribe. I kindof like that battle to continue. Plus I trust Landen, kindof. If Juls is voting Landen, I vote Landen because there's no point. If Juls votes Em, then I vote Em. If Juls doesn't respond before the vote, uh, we'll see. I think she'd be more likely to vote out Landen, but like idk. EIther way, none of these people are me, and I am a number to anyone involved. Mission success? I just need to challenge beast a little bit more.

Ughhh I don't want to be making this confessional right now. Hardly anything has changed since the last time I went to tribal, in terms of my annoyance with the team. We were SO close to winning, we almost had it, and we could've gotten it if Emma had just SUBMITTED. I actually really like her too so it's really frustrating that she does this but I can't justify keeping her when she just.... didn't submit. Not only that but she never apologized, commented on it, or anything. Like that's just plain disrespectful. So I'm wanting to vote her out. Unfortunately I feel like Juls is way too close with her, their bond is dangerous and Juls probably feels like she has to work with Em because they are some of the only girls in the gay-infested ORG community so they just feel a natural connection from that, and they are similar in other ways as well. I definitely feel like those two being as close as they are will be dangerous to me tonight and I know for a fact my name was going around, too. I heard about that from Jacob and it's not surprising at all they would throw my name out. The danger is they could abuse Billy, and they know it. They're definitely trying to get me voted out, and they're definitely trying to use Billy as a number to do it. Which is absolutely ridiculous since they were the first ones to throw his name out and push for it, but oh well. A snake's a snake, and I'm going to try and chop this one's tail off. Notice I said the tail because Emma is literally useless and does absolutely nothing and she's lucky Juls is tryna carry her through this. I'm pressedt. I definitely know I'm in danger and it's like, whatever. If I go in, I'm fine, I can presumably make my way out of the arena and back to the game where I can wreak havoc and be righteously emotional because taking me, the person who got the best score and has been making the most effort to actually talk to people on this deadbeat fucking tribe, out, in Round 2, is kinda just psychotic. I'm absolutely livid and I just... Ugh, it has not been the best week and this game is just starting off so slow and I hate my tribe SO much like it's literally disgusting. I used to hate the One World Twist and I still do as a concept, but thank GOD for it being in this one because I can only tolerate my tribe thanks to being able to talk to people from the other tribes like Jacob, Sammy, Caeleb, etc. I just want this round to be over with and to stop losing for just a few rounds. whew that's all i have to say fuck emma for throwing this 

So I survived tribal! That's great! I was really hoping it wasn't going to be like a permanent red mark against my record. I obviously had a plan for if I did go into the arena, and I figured I would survive, but I'm really glad I don't have to have that permanent scratch on my Tumblr Survivor Record now, and hopefully that makes the endgame easier to navigate. You have to consider things like the FTC early in seasons like these because of the one World Twist and the Arena twist. Both totally impact whether the jury will vote for you, and so it's important to be thinking far more ahead than one usually thinks in Survivor. I'm honestly SHOCKED that I survived tribal tonight, I was 100% Juls and Billy were voting for me, but I'm really glad it happened. I think this confirmed my loyalty with Billy, but in tribal I did come off passive aggressive and honestly, they can deal with it. I wanted to be slightly entertaining but still try to sound rational and sane in where I was coming from, hopefully I accomplished like that? Like I was just so frustrated that my name was in genuine consideration, from what *I* had heard. Like... why the fuck? I got the highest score in the challenge, offered to do flag and did chant for the other team, Emma did nothing both times, it was obvious she should've been the vote. And I'm really happy all the tribe came around with that. I'm really happy I can appreciate loyalty from the people I've grown to like on this tribe. I think I can count on Jacob as a number, and as far as Juls and Billy go, I love those two man. They are great people and I love talking to them. The only issue I have with this tribe is everyone is quiet and shaky and on such a small tribe, everyone gives indefinite answers and it makes things fucking awkward and paranoia runs rampant as you saw tonight. I'm just happy to be safe, have numbers, and be out of the damn Arena. That being said, this tribe is still too tiny and with a possibly furious Emma coming back to exact revenge (and I know she has a lovely heart and personality so I'm definitely expecting her to win over an army) I want to swap out of here as fast as possible so I can begin building my own path to a glimmering throne. 

He’s not as good at challenges as billy, and I’m close with juls and Jacob so I’m not voting them, and billy is immune And everyone is voting with me in theory except landen Next round I’m hoping we don’t go to tribal lol 

This tribe kindof hates each other. Landen and Billy are distrustful of each other. Emma and Landen are also distrustful. Juls and Landen and Emma and Billy are pairs if we want to go that far. I am good with Emma and Landen, Emma slightly less so now, but I did help her out quite a bit. I'm playing both sides pretty well, let's see how far that'll get me, cause I need to be incredibly careful. Juls is also viewed as a greater swing vote, so if both sides-ing does come back to bite us, it should bite Juls before me. Hopefully Emma comes back.

so round two has been a bit better, i think ive repaired all my relationships on my tribe and even managed to stand out in the challenge so maybe they think theyll need me and keep me around. Long story short i think I have longevity for now, but to be completely honest the longer this twist is in the game where once im voted out i just have to beat somoene in a challenge to get back like, im not overly concerned

Just wanted to ask HOW WERE WE ABLE TO WIN IMMUNITY WHEN WE DIDN'T EVEN GET A MEDAL?!?!?!?!?!? *cackling* Also Connor getting voted out is what he gets for saying in the main chat to vote me out. <3 u Connor <3

She finds it completely by accident.

Boredly browsing Youtube one evening when her homework is finished and IMs are quiet, Hinata scrolls through her recommended videos before something catches her eye.

Wait...she knows that guy…!

Staring at the thumbnail, there’s no doubt about it - that’s Sasuke! The guy from her school! The most popular boy in her year, and all-around heartthrob. Between his good looks, good grades, and good reputation, there’s hardly a person who doesn’t like him. Even his rivals begrudgingly respect him.

Huh...she had no idea he was into music.

For a moment she nibbles her lip, considering clicking. Well...it’s not like he’ll know if she watches, right?

Click!

It’s a cover of a punk rock song she...honestly doesn’t know. It’s not exactly her genre. It opens with him fiddling with the camera before taking a few steps back, a guitar hanging over his shoulder. He strums a few strings before just launching right into it.

He’s really good…!

Subtly nodding along to the beat, Hinata watches as he both plays the instrument, and sings along into a microphone. Now that she thinks about it...he looks the part, too. His always devil-may-care hairstyle fits really well as he bobs his head, crooning into the mic.

And then, seemingly just when it starts...it’s over. Hinata almost finds herself sort of...sad. So after a moment’s consideration, she plays it again.

This time she doesn’t pay as close attention to him, and realizes it looks like he recorded it in his room. There’s band posters on the walls. Hinata doesn’t recognize any of them, either. Scrolling down, she frowns at the low view count, and it’s been up for about two months. There aren’t even any comments. How can that be? He’s so good!

Pouting at her screen, Hinata muses in the silence as the video ends a second time. She glances to his username. PvnkR0cker. Way cooler than her lavenderlady14…

...wait…

He won’t know who she is if she leaves a comment…! She can give him some encouragement, and he won’t feel patronized, knowing it’s just from one of his classmates. Maybe that will help him gain a little confidence!

Nibbling her lip again, she clicks into the comment box and leaves a short, polite comment saying how much she liked it, promising to subscribe (which she does after agonizing over hitting ‘submit’).

...then another thought strikes her.

Knowing how popular he is at school...no one there must know he’s on here. If they did, word would have spread by now, and she’d be far from the only comment. There’s a cringe as she thinks about how those like Ino or Sakura would scream all over his page.

Eugh.

So, Hinata makes a silent promise: she won’t reveal his music to anyone she knows. If he hasn’t told anyone, surely he doesn’t want that affecting his numbers. He wants to do this the old fashioned way: from scratch.

Skimming through the rest of his videos (none of which are any songs she knows, either), Hinata refrains from leaving comments on all of them. That might be a little...weird. She’ll just do so whenever he uploads again!

Which...she hopes will be soon.

But, now it’s getting close to bedtime, so she shuts down her PC and readies for bed. Part of her can’t help but wonder if he’ll reply to her...she almost feels a little bad. Like she’s lying, hiding who she is. Then again, he’s doing the same thing. Maybe someday she’ll fess up, but...for now, she’ll play his anonymous fan.

In school the next day, Hinata rummages through her locker, humming to herself absentmindedly. Then, nearby, she hears...the same song?

What?

Looking up, she stiffens as she sees Sasuke stopped a few feet away, staring at his phone. His thumb scrolls, and then...he gives a little start. Surprise slackens his features, and she sees his eyes flicker over the screen

Is...is he reading her comment?! That was the video, the one she watched yesterday, she could tell!

Frozen in place (but thankfully unnoticed in the rush of the morning), Hinata watches as he slowly brightens, smiling. Tapping the screen, he quickly seems to type something. She can feel her heart pounding in chest. He’s replying - she’s watching him reply!

Why is she so embarrassed?!

“Yo, Sasuke! C’mon, we’re gonna be late!”

“Yeah, hold on…” Slowly walking before finishing up, he submits and then looks up to Naruto, following.

“Whatcha doin’?”

“Nothing, replying to a text.”

“Ooh, a girl?”

He just scoffs. “You’re the one complaining we’re gonna be late, let’s go.”

“Aww, I wanna know…!”

Watching them go, Hinata has to fight back a heat in her face. Why this has her so worked up, she has no idea. Is it because of her subterfuge? That...that has to be it!

That’s all…

For the entire day, it eats at her: what did he say? She has to know! In her last class, her leg bounces irritably before bolting from the room at the bell. Gathering her things in record time, Hinata dashes home to her computer.

“Come on...come on…!”

Loading the site, she sees the little notifications at the top of the screen, and the same excitement fills her. There’s two!

Beaming, Hinata takes a moment to sit in her chair and quietly squeal to herself. Once she’s calm, she replies, mostly telling him she’ll look forward to his next upload.

This is so much fun…!

Hiashi gives her an odd look as she takes dinner with a smile and a bump in her step, but doesn’t comment.

Her mood is still high the next morning, humming again to herself at her locker and fetching her supplies for first period.

But when she turns around...she almost jumps out of her skin.

Sasuke’s barely a foot behind her, looking suspicious.

They stare at each other.

After a pause, he looks down to the stuff in her arms. The purple notebook, purple pencil pouch...even her shirt happens to be purple today. A light shade of…

Lavender.

...oh gosh.

Hinata balks, going pink in the face as Sasuke clearly puts two and two together. “...so,” he offers, arms folding loosely. “...didn’t think you were the punk rock type, Hinata.”

After a pause, she retorts, “I-I could say the same about you.”

He blinks...and then snorts. “Yeah, well...we all have our hobbies. And...favorite colors.” Sasuke gives a grin as she goes even pinker. “Don’t worry about it, but uh...do me a favor?”

“I-I wasn’t going to tell anyone!”

There’s a small startle. “...oh. Well...good. I didn’t even tell Naruto. Well...obviously. He’s the biggest blabbermouth…”

Hinata just nods sheepishly. “I...I hope it’s okay I found it…”

“Better you than anyone else.”

“And, um...I really do like the music. I mean I d-didn’t know it before, but...it’s very catchy! You sing really well, and the guitar’s good too.”

“Thanks.”

Tentative smiles bloom between them, and then...the bell rings.

“Well, we better get to class. But hey, uh...thanks. For the comment. You didn’t have to.”

“No...but I wanted to.”

He nods. “Well...see you around, Lavender.”

Hinata can’t help a small laugh. “You too, punk rocker.”

They part ways, and Hinata bites back a grin. Well...he might know now, but...it’s still their secret.

     Oh golly I've been writing all day working on a commission, so if this is short or lacking...I'm just a lil burnt out xD      BUT I really do like this concept. It'd be better if it was longer and more fleshed out, but...well, the point of daily drabbles is to keep them reasonably short so I don't go overboard. Admittedly I have days where I have to drag myself to do this, but...we're a quarter the way through and I haven't quit or fallen behind yet!      Anyway, I'm honestly bushed - had a long day both irl and online, so I'm gonna go pass out and get some sleep! Mad About the Boy (Probst Wyatt x Reader)

A/N: whale whale whale,,,, look who finally got her shit together to write something,.,.,., so im real fuckin rusty on both writing and my Wolfenstien TNO knowledge (i tried to replay last night and well,,,, my console is a piece of shit) also i have never written a songfic before so blease be gentle (T⌓T)

The song (i was listening to the FONV soundtrack while writing) 

A low knock snaps Wyatt from his thoughts. He looks to the door as another low knock echoes through his room.

“Wyatt, are you in there?” You ask, voice muffled by the door

“Yeah I am just give me a second!” He calls back to you while walking to the door. You wait patiently on the other side, rocking on the backs of you heels, the box you were holding was starting to feel slightly heavy.

He opens the door slowly, giving you a nervously smile. “Hi”

“Hey,” You smile back “can I come in?”

“Of course!” He says almost a little too fast, stumbling back to open the door wide enough for you to walk in. Theres a small skip in your step as you enter his room. You spin in a small circle as you look around, taking in everything about his living space.

You look over to him, “Do you mind if I set this down on the floor?” you move the box in your arms.

“Not at all! Here.” Wyatt takes the box from your arms and set it on a small table. You hum softly as you open it. He looks over your shoulder to see the contents inside.

He points to the biggest object inside it. “Whats that?”

“A record player aaaaaand some records!” You pull out the items to show him, a gleeful smile gracing your face.

“Where did you find a record player?” he inquires with a puzzled tone, stepping back to give you a little bit of space.

“I was looking for some medical supplies and I found it in this box buried under the pile of boxes. You’ve seemed really sad lately so I figured I’d share my discovery with you.” You explain with a small shrug, starting to set up it up. “Have you ever danced before?”

“Gosh, a long time ago! Before,” He waves his hands slightly “before all this…”

Wyatt watches as you delicately pull one of the records from its sleeve, setting it on top of the turn table and dropping the needle on the perfect spot. The soft hum of violins fill the air while you stand and face the man staring at you. He looks away to the floor shyly, making you giggle quietly.

“Wyatt?”

He looks up from the floor to you, heart pounding rapidly in his chest as you both lock eyes.

You hold out your hands to him, “Dance with me?”  

Wyatt gently grasps them with a loving smile, “Of course.”

You both start to sway gently to the music. A foot or so of distance separate you both. He makes the first move to get closer, his left arm draping casually around your waist. You feel your face grow hot at the sudden amount of contact, resting your now free hand at the top of his shoulder.

Wyatt draws you closer to him, completely closing the gap between you too. He spins you both slowly as you continue to sway to the music. The corners of his mouth twitch up into the most adoring smile anyone has ever given you in your life while you both gaze at each other lovingly. There was heavy feeling of bliss hanging in the air, as if all the vile things that have happened to you both suddenly vanished from your lives. There was no more violence or cruelty.

You wrap your arms around his neck as his other arm snakes around your waist. Foreheads pressed together as shy looks are exchanged. The last hums of the music disappear as the song ends, the room was silent. You both stop moving but, don’t detach yourselves from one another. True be told you were both afraid of what would happen when you separate yourselves. Could a moment such as this ever happen again?

Wyatt gently bumps his nose against yours slightly, he brushes a small lock of hair behind your ear. You bring a hands to his scarred cheek, resting it hesitantly against it. He leans into your touch, softly whispering an “It’s alright.” with a tender smile. Using your hand on his cheek you tilt his head towards yours, steadily places your lips to his. He leans into you with a delighted groan, pressing his lips to yours without a moment of hesitation. The kiss was enthusiastic and loving, you were both pouring out every ounce of your feelings for one another into it. You pull away just a tad for air before feeling his lips reattach themselves to yours. You moan his name against mouth as he catches your bottom lip between his. His grip around your waist tightens as you cradle his face in your hands.  

A loud, pounding knock rings out in the room, causing you two to jump.

“Wyatt?” BJ’s gruff voice calls out

Wyatt detaches himself from you instantly “Captain Blazkowicz?!”

“Yeah, I need to talk to you.”

“Sure! Just, uh, give me a minute.” He says while looking to you with an apologetic look. You respond with a small shrug.

“We’ll do this again,” you give his hands a reassuring squeeze “I promise.”

Wyatt nods, pressing one last kiss to your lips before following you to the door. He opens its wide enough to let you out and BJ in.

“Wyatt, goddamnit what are you do-“ BJ stops himself at the sight of you leaving.

You give him a grin and a friendly shoulder pat. “Hey Blazko.”

“Hey?” He watches you walk off before turning back to Wyatt with a questioning look.

Wyatt merely beams “We were just dancing, Captain.”

socks, my friend, are a fucking brilliant invention. i have a bit of love-hate relationship with socks because i feel like they confine your feet (i mean why would you want to lock your feet into little pockets of cloth?) but on the other hand THEY’RE SO CUTE. little socks with funky patterns and little animals and the super soft house socks as well. having said that, all my socks are black with either pink purple or blue on the foot and heel parts. SO, my favourite thing to do is always wear mismatched socks - but nobody can tell because the main part of the sock is black. It’s like a little secret I can wear all day knowing that my socks are not the same even though it looks like they are.

Me: with that let’s go to this and forget about it in the future *craying*

Mahiru saw the building that will be her house in the next 3 years.

It was tall, and simple. A little too dark to her liking but is was nothing that she couldn’t deal with.

Making a fast approach, she locked in the paper that was in her hand that had the number of the room and evidence she was supposed to be there.

You maybe wondering: what kind of place is it? Well, the answer is simple: a circus school.

Okay a circus, idols, intern school. Did I get it clear? And before you start asking more questions let me continue with the story.

You see, Mahiru's mother was a very good illusion mage, and compositor. She studied here (her uncle says so) and was a quite famous but when she got pregnant, she left the scene to be with her family. Unfortunately, the dream was short lived… a drugged guy in a car killed her in front of her daughter upon a tormentus noon.

And Little 5 year old Mahiru was adopted by her circus leader uncle. He never fails to make her smile and he supports her when she needs it the most, and of course she just wants to follow her family business and one day be a true member of her uncle's circus (that currently is in a friends care, but her uncle still goes to wherever they are to check if everthing is ok, and make adjustments with the law if there are needed).

That’s and a little pep talk (with her uncle and friends) was make her enroll herself in this place.

Alice’s Garden Circus and Talents School.

A place that her family have lived for three generations (according to the records) and she was going to be the next best compositior and illusion clothes and lights maker in Japan or she isn’t called Mahiru Shirota.

“mmm… that’s odd. According to this im supposed to be here but… apparently I'm the only one, there's not even the keykeeper of the apartament.” She said to herself after going to the Sloth building, for the making class.

She looked around to make sure there isn't another living person, before going upstairs and opening the door with the number one on it.

‘maybe there aren’t so many students in this class’ she thinks.

The apartement was simple, little and comfy. Like the one she left this morning (it was in the next town) already loving it, she goes to see the asinged bedroom and found it similar to her one in downtown.

It has a nice little balcony, a comfy looking bed, a little deck was in the left wall and clothes was across the door.

Curious, she got to the other room and found it locked, so she went to explore the rest of the place, finding the kitchen and the laundry. With a smile in her face, she undid the curtains and started to clean a little, but a little moaning sound made her stop and look to the sofa.

In a little corner, a black cat was trying to shield himself from the light.

“Aww! You are such a cutie. How did you come in? and…” she carried him to an eye level, noticing the smalls cuts in the fur. “What happened to you?” Mahiru shook her head and went to the bathroom with the cat in her arms.

Once she bathed him and bandaged some of the most nasty cuts, she got a collar with a bell and then attached it to his neck.

“Here. I hope you will like it, Kuro.”

 “Kuro I’m going to class. There is some food and water. Se ya later”  

Kuro.

It was a good name. the voice that give it to him is was a calide one.

But the presence was so familiar and at the same time, so new. He recognised the presense but his mind didn’t want it to be true.

The last astral master for the sun temple died 15 years ago and no one has awakened the power so… who was the one that has this similar presence?

His injuries didn’t make pain anymore so this person somehow had cure him and that's something very difficult, I mean with the amount of energy he have they were supposed to be in his body for ar least another two days.

Opening his eyes, he saw that he was in a dark room with a bed.

‘Where am I?’ he asked himself, ‘last I remember, I was running for cover after that weird dude got me...’

He looked around and after he made sure no one was here, he puffed to his human form.

His cat ears move a little at sensing an new thing around his neck.

“What a pain…” he says. “Apparently this person just made the first step to a contract with my other form… I hope I can make it retract it before it’s become a big problem”

With that in mind the strange blunette went to the kitchen and started to search for something to eat.

He found some instant ramen and started to make it.

His mind goes back to that terrible day that his last master died.

“Hey…Ash… what are you going to do if I’m going and there is no one to watch over the temple?” a man in a kimono had asked him one morning looking through the traditional window.

“Well, I have promised that I will look after your life and the temple so if you are going I'm going to take care of it until the next one come in…. or the temple fall whatever happens first” he had answered with a lazy expression in his face but with fear in his soul. Why he have to ask that in the state that he is now?

He dosen’t have the vitality of yesterday, his body is more weak than before and his spirit was flashing like a bad flashlight before shutting off.

He didn’t want him dead. He didn’t want to see him die.

Its was a bad pain in the heart and in his mind to see them die, he have seen so many deaths and he knows they are in a better place (save for one little troublesome soul who refuse to go wihout seeing a female descent take over the family business or cut apart the tradition, and see the world together) they all have past that is peacefull and painless but still it hurts him to see his friends and masters go one by one from the only thing he cannot protect them from: illness and death.

He shook his head. Of course he can protect them from death, He can save them from it but… he dosen’t want to force them to live with this disgusting second life of his.

Of course, it is not his decision so he always makes them the offer and if they say yes then he has to make them like the second part of him…

But since he is an animal guardian spirit for temples too, they had become a neko spirit… but that is the only theory. None of them have said yes.

They all have said no, and had gone to the after life.

Now, the last one is going to see the others before him and he will be all alone again… no one will be here to help him going through the pain that he has been regretting. There will be no one to need his protection and no one to make pranks or someone to pet him in his animal form.

No one that will tell him what to do and how to make things better or someone that tell him if he is wrong or not.

No one that will save him from little kids that will play with his long and puffy cat tail.

He knows that time is up and the person at his care was going to die soon.

“Sleepy Ash… I… there was this girl I really loved, and she loved me too, but… for her happiness and health, I conviced her to let me stay here to fullful her dreams and destiny… I'm both glad and sad that she did it. She was a free soul. I didn’t want to make her a prisoner here so I let her go and until now I know she is enjoying herself for the two of us…”

The guardian has known about that girl. The Illusion circus trapezist, dancer, and mage. He didn’t know the full history about them until now.

The family guardian has taken his human form and went to meet his last master eye to eye.

The brunette smiled and made his last laugh for him.

His most trusted guardian.

The young adult saw him one last time.

“Thank you Sleepy Ash. For everthing that you have done to my family and for being here when I grow up and…for staying here in my last moment” and with that the autumn colored human closed his eyes and exaled his last breath.

 He was so distracted by the memory that never saw that his tail made a mess in the floor and that the door was beginning to open.

His ears were processing the information that the tv was showing and didn’t hear the “I'm home” from the person with the same voice that gave him his new name said.

He didn’t feel it until is was so late.

 Mahiru came to the apartament after a very tired first day at this new school.

She had made some friends and had the opportunity to meet some important and spectacular people, like Krantz-san. One of the best managers that she knows.

It was a good day. She had some assignments, like start with some costumes for the cultural festival that was aimed for the mid of term but it's better to start now than be sleep deprived later.

She opened the door and said the common line “ I’m home” but this time she said it to a strange noice in the living room.

‘did I leave the tv on?’ she asked herself before she saw the silhouette of another person.

She panicked for a second and took the broom to try to hit the strange person that invaded her new home but… something made her see it in a new light.

Were those cat ears? And were they moving?

Curiosity took the best of her and she unconsciously went to the blue haired boy without advice taken.

“T-they are real?!”

The persons reaction was instant.

He flew to the wall and with a puff sound the same black cat she left this morning was in the ceiling looking around in a very fast way.

“K-KURO?! A-ARE YOU A NEKO?!”

The cat recognised the voice and put his eyes in the new comer.

‘No… I-it can't be…’

In front of him was a girl that resembled a mage girl fom his past and his last master.

‘You've got to be kidding me’ he said to himself before going of and turning to his human form, his ears and tail flapping in the landing.

“When I'm in this form please don’t say my name” he needed to make some points here first before he can try to explain to her and him the fact that maybe she was the last sun gifted for the ruined temple.

“Y-your name? I didn’t know you have one! And I thought you where a simple black cat and I named you Kuro for-“

She has said it.

Of course she has to do it.

The second step to the contract of his other part has been completed.

The light that made a circle and a shine around his neck and her wrist disappeared with the same force that came to live.

“ W-w-what was that?!”

“What a pain…. You just made a contract with me…. So troublesome, I could die… what's your name” if he needs to be with this person for the next 24 hours he better know her name and… that will give away his suspusion.

“hu? M-my name? well-KYAAAA! D-DON’T P-PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! T-THERE IS THIS CREATURE AFTER ME!” the deserate cry made them look at the window.

Somehow it was dark and there in the backyard of the school gates one of her new friends was being attacked be some strange creature.

“How troublesome…. What is a demon doing here of all places? And why does it have to be powerful enough to make the shadows block the sun?”

That make the girl see him.

“A demon? Th-that thing is a demon?!” and without saying another word, she took the broom an started to run towards the door.

“w-wait t-the limit distan-“ a blue line appears on the neck of the neko boy and made him puff in his cat form and fly to the door, landing in his new masters back.

The girl fell but inmediately grabbed him, and continued with the running.

“W-why are you running? Isn't it better if you call someone else?” Kuro said in a monotone voice.

“I’m so done with the ‘let's hope someone comes and help them’ and the ‘who is going to make it?’ no one wants to be that someone that can make people die in the bad time” was the answer.

She put him down once they came close to that monster.

“If you want to run then run, but I will be that someone that will help him. He is my friend and if I don’t do it then who will?”

And with that she went off to go kick the beast with the home broom and once the demon sees her she become a little paralized before running back.

“S-Shirota?”

“Run! I got it, so you run! And that will be the last time you call me Shirota! Call me be my name Mahiru, not by my surname!” was the response of the girl.

‘S-Shirota?’ the mind of Kuro goes back to the last wish of his late master.

“Can you make sure they are safe? And if they give you a new family accept it”

B-but that’s is impossible. THERE WASN'T ANOTHER SHIROTA FAMILY! N-no more Shirotas were born after his last master h-how is that possible?…

“there was this girl and… we may or not may have had an issue... before she left”

New and forgotten lines were poping up in his head while he saw the girl running and kicking the demon with the broom.

“…. In her last letter there was something I didn’t understand yet, but… can you find them and make sure they are safe? If they are a free soul then let them be, but make sure they are safe and don’t go for the bad. Can you?”

“HAA!”

The scream that the girl did make him focus on the situation at hand.  His new mistress was about to be killed by the demon hand.

His body moves on its own.

Becoming a living sheld for the girl and the demon weapon.

With a powerful kick he made the thing fly some yards.

His hand got to the place that was in the new injury. It was a profund one and with his current energy state he will not be much help.

That demon need to be killed before it becomes a mayor threat but he just can’t do it… his astral levels of mana were low and the fact that he hasn't drank any blood in the last five centuries didn’t help.

“H ha haha hahahaha did you really think that you can make something? Hibrid Guardian? You are so low in energy! Haven’t have enough energy since the last fight with the demon gang and if I see correctly you haven’t drank any blood right?” the demon starts to talk and make fun of him.

“B-blood? W-what does that mean?” the neko saw the little terror in his new mistress.

“Haven’t you told her? Wasn't she supposed to know because of her heritage? “

“M-my heritage? W-what is it talking about?! I don’t have more heritage than my mom’s and uncle circus!”

The demon laughs more.

“Hahahahaa so it was true?! hahahaa the last suns son have a adventure with the moon and wind daughter? And that the proof of it hasn't been in the temple for the last 15 years allowing us to roam free again! HAHAHAHAHA! I am so depth you one stupid girl and so I shall make your death less painful” a terrible laugh echoed in the middle of the desert school.

“but first… let me tell you a story. You see, the animal spirit guardian here its something that is more powerful than all the guardians since the original ones times. And do you know why? Well that’s because its not only a stupid animal spirit but its also a vampire.”

The eyes of the girl open in a big state.

“Oh and that’s not all, you see, this one has a bad habit of not taking blood if its not nesessary, for more than five centures it has been giving his power for the mana energy of the sun temple and its priest..but now that the temple is in ruins and there is no more Shirota priests to give him some energy he needs blood to make this fight more interesting ooh but… you will not do it right? Take some blood to make sure there is not danger in the world like you promised your last master”

Kuro was abut to say something in his little rage state when a hand in his jacket made him lower himself. His mouth meets fresh skin that got ripped apart and was soaking with a metallic and warm liquid.

It was running in his mouth like a waterfall and soon it was needed to be swallowed before making him drown in the strange, addicted liquid.

Other two rapid shallows and he took apart his tooth for the liquid fountain. His thought took all the remains that have fallen to his lips and chin savoring the metal, spicy and sweet combination of  crimison.

“If you need some blood then you can have it. I don’t know if what he says is true but I will help you because you are now my friend and friends help each other” the voice of the girl made his way to his brain.

His ears and tail stay up with grace and energy.

A metal chain with blue and black energy glow made its apearence, between the back part of his neck and around the wrist of the bleeding arm of the girl.

With a little turn around he saw the determination in her eyes. Those eyes that remind him so much of his last master.

The wind made her honey hair dance in the way the magican lover of the last male Shirota.

And the suddenly rush of mana energy that flowed through the chain made all the question despair in his mind.

The sun power was not lost.

He had his first commander as a vampire and a new one as a guardian animal spirit.

And both were his first female ones.

He now was kuro the Servamp of Sloth and Lion Spirt guardian of the sun temple that was at the service of the first girl descendent for the Shirota family clan.

“Hear me now you bad thing! I am Mahiru the third of the Shirota and Windmoon clans! And now you are going to pay for your action against this world in the name of the Sun Temple and the might night secret! There is not way of escape for my guardian spirit and servamp Kuro the Sleppy Ash of Sloth and for me. The Simple alliance of clans, Eve of the Sloth and Priest of Simplement” the words left her mouth in a instinctive form.

She didn’t know what she was saying but somehow its feels right to say it.

It's like when you see for the first time your parents and know the sound that you need to make for recognizement.

It was all so strange and at the same time so right and natural to her.

“and now I going to punish you in the name of the eclipse! Kuro go for it!”

The servamp and spirit guardian go after the demon with a speed similar to the sound.

His claws go through the steel skin of the monster and made him stay quiet.

“My mistress has ordered me to give you a fair court” his ears and tail moved in a synchronized way that was hipnoticant, beautiful and scary at the same time.

“Your laziness will give me the information I need to know your crimes,” a strange blue and black mist start to glow in a lazy form from the movement of the neko parts.

Mahiru saw in the mist all the things that her enemies have done.

“The judgement has been done. You are found light guilty and so, you are going to be purified be the lazy sun!”

A gust of energy passed by the chains to the claws of the guardian cat vampire and in a orange and blue light the demon become dust and lights balls that made its way to the sky banishing the shadows and giving the moon room to shine and give some calm to the earth.

“W-what a pain...” kuro fell to the pavement once the chains disappeared.

“K-kuro! A are you okay?” the voice of the girl made his ears twich.

“I’m so done… I haven’t fought like that in 34 years… and I'm so sure tomorrow I will be in such a pain… I need to sleep” was the only response of the cat vampire guardian.

“Oh… im glad is nothing bad…” the girl fell to hers knees and sat down next to her fallen vampire.

“I thought for a moment tha… you will leave me too…” and with that last comment she passed out.

The ears made a movement at that sentence and the curiosity made him see her.

“What a pain…” he says once he saw her.

With some effort he got himself to her side and made sure she was still alive.

And felt relief to find that she was alive. Only some bruises and the bleeding arm.

He closed his eyes searching for the like to his brothers and finding the only one he was sure to call for help in this kind of situations.

‘well’ he thought before the darkness took him to sleep, ‘I think he can rest in peace’

Without knowing a spirit saw all of the fight and was now smiling to himself

“look at this Sunbird, you have found the answer to that strange letter, didn’t you?” the spirit said to the moon.

“what is the future going to be now? This is going to be interesting to watch”

Oh and you are right mysterious spirit.

The things are going to be interesting for now..

As I write this, I now have officially just TWO weeks left. I seriously cannot believe it. If you ever want to experience the most WARPED sense of time, work on a cruise ship. Ive never had something fly by so fast in my life. Some days feel so incredibly long, however, overall, it feels like I literally blinked on October 5th and opened my eyes and it is feb.22nd.

Many things have changed and happened since last writing on feb.4th before the 2 week cruise. At that point, there were going to be 2 ports rescheduled because of coronavirus fears. Things ended up taking a bigger turn. Guests were notified a few days before their cruise that Lifou and Mare were going to be cancelled because they were closing their borders because of the virus (these ports really lack money/medical facilities/care, so if even one person on the island got corona, i’m sure the entire island would go down. So, better for them to be safe than sorry. Things really took a turn once guests got on board- once pretty much everyone had checked in and no chance to turn back, they made an announcement that 2 more islands were cancelled for the same reason. So, 4 of the 7 ports were now cancelled. Some people were obviously kicking off, others were understanding. The question now was, what were we going to do with those 4 days. We were going to do the overnight in that questionable port of Luganville, BUT- it ended up getting changed to an overnight (2 day) stay in Tauranga, NZ! Absolutely amazing- more to come. And they added the port of Eden, Australia, which had a smaller population than the # of guests on board.

2 weeks is a ridiculous amount of time for people to cruise, especially kids. ESPECIALLY when they just got back to school 2 weeks ago. Ever since Christmas, most of the kids have been so exhausting and horrible that I just question if any kids on the planet are nice or well behaved anymore. Im wondering though, do the kids keep getting worse, or is my patience just getting worse. (It has to be the kids). We have so much hope each turnaround day that the kids will get better and then by day 2 we are like “what the actual fuc*”. I need to have no contact with kids for approximately 1 month once a return home so that I can become fond of them again LOL. Luckily, it went by extremely fast and the neglected children are back with their questionable families. Part of the 2 week cruise included two Fiji ports that remained as planned. My friends and I booked two excursions for both Fiji days because we had time off during the morning/afternoon. Having this time off to do an excursion is RARE, we we were absolutely buzzing with excitement. One tour was to a private island via a catamaran, and the other was a rainforest hike to a waterfall. We were so excited, key word being “were”. What happens next is truly tragic. Voyager of the Seas has decide to install a show called “Anchors away” which is a 18 minute parade through the promenade where all of the cruise division (youth staff, cruise staff, singers, dancers, sports staff etc..) have to be a part of. **Forced to be a part of**. They have decided to install this parade right before 50% of the cruise division signs off, so its going to burst into flames in about a month when everyone that knows it is gone and the new people have no idea what to do. It has taken weeks and weeks of rehearsals. It is a huge production. To learn all of the choreography/blocking, we have had to spent countless hours rehearsing. And they’ve decided to to run all of the rehearsals on days when we are in port, (so we can practice in the promenade and have less guests, as they are at the port) meaning we cant get off until its done. It is still so devastating for me to say that BOTH of our Fiji shore excursions had to be cancelled so we could rehearse the parade. All of our port days for the last month have been ruined due to these damn rehearsals. Time off is compromised and we cant book anything to do in port because theres never enough time. Very sad for getting off purposes, but the parade has honestly been a hilarious experience to be a part of. The costumes and props are all brand new and the budget is enormous. I cant even explain it really. There is no way to explain unless you see it. The show is made up of 4 different boat teams battling against each other to music. I am a part of the chinese dragon boat. The worst part about this whole parade/port compromising is that my part in the parade requires no talent or choreography. I literally hold the TAIL of the dragon boat for 18 minutes while my team does a crazy dance with the paddles. I also will only be in the parade twice before leaving, so i’m not sure why i’ve been roped into it for a month when ill be gone after its opening show. My Fiji excursions had to be cancelled so I can practice being the ass of a dragon. Not bitter :) The costumes are amazing though, I hope i can post some pics because the costumes are quite special. I won’t bother going into this parade further because its inexplainable. I hope I can get my hands on a recording of the whole parade so people can understand.

I was able to get off for 2 hours both fiji days, but just NOT the same as what we had planned. In Suva, my friend Laura and I experienced the weirdest 5 mins of our lives while walking back to the ship. Its hard to really paint the picture because words cant do it justice, but as we were walking back to the ship, a truck full of Fiji prisoners passed us were screaming and reaching for us. However, this was not a jail transportation vehicle like the ones at home where they are handcuffed and locked in the back with a security guard. This was legitimately a 20 year old pick up truck with literally probably 15-20 inmates crammed into the back, being held in by what seemed to be a chicken wire type material. Just picture the easiest thing to escape from and that was it. As they drove by they all had their hands reaching out of the wires and were yelling for us with their bodies crammed together like they were sardines in a can. It was one of the weirdest moments of my life. I wish i had a picture of the truck and the men all crammed into the back by the dental floss like material. If we managed to be at a stop light at the same time, im not sure laura and I would have made it back to the ship. Approximately 30 seconds later I was gifted a hand carved wooden Fijian axe by a man selling souvenirs on the side of the road. He gave it to me without me ever showing interest in it, so I decided to give him my leftover Fiji money, as I would never be back in Fiji again. At this point he asked me for more, so this was obviously a ploy from the start, but he had already carved my name into the axe so I couldn’t say no, and he threw in a carved wooden turtle on top of it so I just agreed. I came back to the ship with two items I never wanted and somehow managed to bring the wooden axe through security without them saying anything. Ill make sure not to have it in my carry on bag on the plane or ill be added to a no fly list. These two events happening back to back were so, so odd but I will never forget them.

The two day NZ experience was amazing, I absolutely loved Tauranga and it made me so excited knowing that I will be living in that country this time next year. I was able to get off during the day and go to the beach, and then was able to get off after work at 11pm to experience the ~overnight~. Pretty much every crew member ended up at the same bar downtown, so it was like any normal night on the ship, but we were on glorious land. None of us had been off on land at night time in 5 months. It was so amazing, even if it was just for a few hours. I didn’t know how much I missed walking around at night/being on land until I stepped off the ship that night. We had to be back on the ship at 2am, or wait until 6am when the gangway doors opened again. So, we decided to clear out and make it back to the ship for 2:00am instead of sleeping outside of the ship until 6.

After that 2 week cruise was finally over, 2 friends and I were able to get off during the day in Sydney and we went to Bondi beach again. That place is still far too cool. Saw a guy in a McMaster sweater. Beach was filled with hundreds of people compared to last time, mostly backpackers/tourists I assume. We are now on a 6 day booze cruise with 300 kids where we are having more kids come to adventure ocean than we did at xmas/new years when we had over 1,000. Its very annoying. Its supposed to be low counts for kids, but we seem to be slammed every day, and the kids and parents aren’t particularly enjoyable. Hoping my 11 day last and final cruise will be a flawless experience. The ports have already changed for that one as well (hopefully they’ve already informed the guests). 2 overnights in Port Vila and Luganville instead of 4 of the islands, both in places where getting off at night isn’t easy or particularly safe. We shall SEE how it goes. Im honestly very sad to have these islands taken away. They are so beautiful and “once in a lifetime”, and I never got to lookout at the ocean from the beach one last time at each place and mentally say goodbye. I didn’t know my last time was going to be the last time. I guess thats life.

One of my hopes and dreams of my contract came true over the 2 week cruise. When I was working with the 6-11 year olds, a girl started screaming that there were flying fish in the water, but they were really DOLPHINS. Probably about 30 of them. They were all jumping and soaring out of the water, it was magic. Ive been waiting for that moment since I came. To see that number of dolphins in their natural environment was my perfect BBC planet earth moment I have been waiting for. Just waiting for my whale now, 13 days for it to come true.

This 6 day cruise just goes to Melbourne and Tasmania. Could easily be done in 3 days but I love that they just decide to add unnecessary sea days to make profit. We are going at approximately the same speed as a snail, because they’ve included sea days in between each port, when really we could probably get to Melbourne from Tasmania in 5 hours at a normal speed. We passed an island with a mountain today, I had a two hour nap and looked outside when I got back up to work and we were still passing the same mountain. Cheers MATE.

I am now on my 5th roommate. They moved my housekeeping roommate out without telling me. They want similar divisions living in the same areas because we have schedules that align more. She’s a sports staff from is England and is good and can steal the bottom bunk once i’m gone in 2 weeks. At this point I just walk in my room each day expecting there to be a new person. In other news- I got my flights home today, so that is EXCITING. Obviously I was always going home, but now it feels real. I fly 15.5 hours from Sydney to Dallas at at 2:40pm on the 7th, then 3 hours from Dallas to Toronto and should touch down at YYZ at 9:30pm on the 7th. I will be time travelling and experience March 7th twice. I’m obviously so excited to come home and see everyone and finally relax for more than 2 hours, but its for sure going to be really sad saying goodbye to everyone and this crazy lifestyle. I feel like i will have a quarter life crisis when I come home because I wont know what to do with myself. I’m trying to take in each day and live in the moment because its going to gone before I know it.

Anyways, must go change my laundry before someone else does it for me to steal my dryer.

I MADE FINAL 4. I’m so shocked and happy with myself. I broke my personal placement record and it’s so exciting. Unfortunately though I get to move past a milestone at the expense of losing a close ally. I got past eighth but Jones got eliminated. I get past my record but then Tobi gets idoled out. I’m so depressed but it just makes me want to win for them. I’m hearing that it’s a final 2 but it isn’t confirmed. So now I’m thinking who do I want to be sitting in a final 2 with. None of them honestly, they’ve all played great games. But I especially don’t want to sit next to Ryan. He’s done so well in this game and he made a succesful idol play. It would look like if a genius hacker were to sit next to an enthusiastic toddler.
