*starting to write the Gid parents fic* how the fuck am I gonna write Yona, they’re all so inconsistent— *realizes that Yona is basically how the media sees Texas* oh. Wait, this is gonna be easy then

#at first I thought it was weird that there has been a character from Yona in every single campaign I have seen thus far #and that they can’t seem to decide between desert and lush farmland #before i actually thought about each description of Yona we have gotten from each of those characters #and how they almost perfectly replicate how the media can’t seem to decide if Texas is either a desert or a lush Greenland #so I have realized that Yona is basically Avantris’ version of Texas #which would also explain everyone’s accents #bc even tho my accent is more akin to Kremy’s i have family members whose accents replicate Gideon’s #for the record if it ain’t obvious im from Texas. and so is the majority of the family I know about #which yes is also the reason why I have such an easy time writing Kremy and Gideons accents #legends of avantris #once upon a witchlight #ouaw #gideon coal #I’m just unsure what part of Yona Gid is from #since the background of his part in the intro has the desert #but also im pretty sure he was raised on a farm so #so i think i might just have to base his location off of the farm my dads family lived at for a while #which was a mix of the two I’d say
