Good news: I think I've found suitable replacement names for Ayunnen, Kashi, and Kazai!

Ayunnen:

Aýnabat

Derived from Turkmen aý "moon" and nabat, a type of crystallized sugar candy.

I do realize that this essentially means naming him “moon candy” but y'know what, it's cute, I'm keeping it. The name is feminine, however I have allowed myself this anachronism bc the Marda clan people generally have a very loose relationship with gender. It's fine, I think.

Kazai:

Khazan

Meaning autumn or falling leaves, it's also a Persian festival that has to do with autumn, Khazan Jashn.

Many thanks to @innerchorus for bringing my attention to this! Information on this festival though was. Uh. Scarce. But I did manage to find a small article written entirely in Farsi about an “autumn festival” that was held in a certain neighborhood.

Kashi:

Sâyezân

From Kazakh сая (saya) meaning “shadow, shade, protection, comfort” and жан (zhan) meaning “soul” (both words of Persian origin).

This. THIS was the name that gave me so much fucking trouble. I liked the “saya” part (the Farsi pronunciation was smth more like saye according to the wiktionary audio, hence why I spelled it that way) HOWEVER I kinda. Didn't like the look of “zhan” (jân in Farsi) and I really liked the fact that Kashi and Kazai's names used to share a syllable and... I tried to look up what “zan” would've been in Farsi but turns out, it meant something like “woman, wife, female” and naming Kashi “girl-shadow” just didn't sit right with me 😭😭 Also the original name I found was Zhansaya which... I didn't quite like the vibes of, really............ I tried to look for alternatives to replace that zhan with, but didn't find anything, and so. I was wholly tempted to chop that part off and just have it be Sâye. In the end though, I ended up playing shuffle with the two parts of the name and let's just say the zân still means soul, it's just. Stylized differently. Yeahhhhh. Toooootally fine.

So. Yeah! The new names of my ArSen OCs! Edits to the fic will have to come after I'm done writing chapter 3 (but before uploading it) so look forward to that, I guess!

I have also made the decision to revert “Areyan” back into his canon name “Arslan” as this was a holdover from when I thought it'd be a fine idea to give Arslan another name to denote that this was an alternate, different version of him. Ehhhh he can go back to being Arslan.

“Nice pool,” Eddie drawls, walking back from the patio into the house. “Could’ve made a bit more of an effort to clean it. I said to leave the place as you’d like to find it, Dick.”

Richard Harrington’s eyes scream bloody murder, but he doesn’t dare speak. Jeff and Frank have him flanked on either side, guns ready in their holsters, and Gareth is manning the door. Just a precaution. Harrington has been in the business for long enough to know he has lost. All of his most loyal henchmen are dead or on the run, and the more fickle ones have joined Eddie’s side.

“Aw, don’t pout.” Eddie pats the man's cheek jovially. “This is just how it works. Survival of the fittest and all that. Now, I believe that concludes our little tour of the house? Or am I forgetting something?” 

Harrington’s face twitches. Jeff laughs and rolls his eyes. 

“The bedroom, Eddie?”

“Ah, of course!” Eddie snaps his fingers, like he only just remembered. “Shall we, gentlemen?”

A giant bed dominates the far wall of the master bedroom. On the mattress, wrists tied to the headboard, is a boy. The soft, muted light glows off his naked skin. 

“Ah,” Eddie mutters. “That’s what I’m talking about. Turns out you can follow directions.”

Harrington says nothing. The boy, who stopped tearing at his restraints when he heard the door open, stares at him with wide, panicked eyes. 

“Dad? What- … Who are those people?”

Eddie coos. With a few long strides, he’s at the bed, sinking down onto the mattress. One of his hands finds the boy’s bare ankle, sliding up his leg to a firm, freckled thigh.

“Aw, darling. He didn’t tell you?” 

“Tell me what? Leave me alone, perv!”

The boy tries to shy away from his touch, but he doesn’t get far, bound in place as he is. Eddie chuckles. 

“Shhh, honey,” he scolds, cradling that pretty face with both hands. “It's okay. The name's Eddie, I work for your dad. Well, worked.”

The boy blinks at him, hazel eyes large and confused. Eddie laughs softly.

“See, the firm’s under new management. My management, to be more specific. I’m trying to keep it minimum bloodshed, so your old man’s gonna make himself scarce and I’ve agreed not to bother him. In return, I get to keep this fine house … and everything in it.” 

Understanding dawns in those pretty eyes. 

“No! Don't- don't touch me. Stay away from me.” 

Eddie makes a soft shushing sound and wipes the first tears away as they spill over.

“Oh no, sweet thing. It’ll be alright, I promise. I’ll take such good care of- wait a sec.” 

Because one of his hands has just slipped up to the boy's temple, fingers carding through thick, chestnut hair - only to come away red and sticky. The boy flinches, but Eddie grabs his jaw, holding him in place so that he can comb his hair aside. There’s a large, bleeding bruise on his temple. For a moment, the only sound in the room is that of the boy's hitched breathing. 

“Dick?” Eddie growls. “Explain this?” 

“He fought back,” Harrington mutters defiantly. “What was I supposed-” 

Eddie has him up against the wall, gun to his throat, before he can finish the sentence. 

“Are you kidding me? Trying to slip me damaged goods? I should fucking kill you, you son of a-” 

“Eddie,” Frank mutters. “C'mon, man.”  

Eddie blinks. 

“Right,” he says. “Get him out of my sight.” 

Relief washes over Harrington’s face as the gun disappears from his throat - only to be replaced by incredulous horror a second later, when Eddie holds out his hand before his face, palm up. 

“Go on, Dick. It's traditional, right? A sign of respect.”

Harrington growls. His hands curl into fists. Eddie smirks, raising an expectant eyebrow. Then, quickly, as if the touch will burn him, Harrington bows his head and kisses Eddie’s rings. 

“Not so hard, was it?” Eddie calls after him as he is escorted out. The door clicks shut. 

Eddie's smile slips. 

“Shit, Stevie,” he breathes. He's back on the bed in an instant, tilting the boy's head with gentle fingers to look at the injury. “What'd you go and do that for? I told you not to fight.” 

“And I told you it had to look convincing,” Steve retaliates. “Was I just supposed to let them tie me up and tear off my clothes and thank them for it?” 

Eddie's mouth twists into a grin. 

“We both know that's how you like it, honey.” 

He leans in, claiming those plush lips for a long, filthy kiss. Steve puts up a brief symbolic struggle, but Eddie growls warningly and slips a hand between his legs, and his protests turn into the sweetest little moans. Eddie only allows them to part once they're both out of breath and Steve is starting to buck and grind in his hold.

“Everything went well, then?” Steve asks. His voice is hoarse and raspy, and he needs to stop halfway through for another moan. “The- … the security codes all worked?” 

“Flawlessly, you sly little minx,” Eddie murmurs. He bites down on the perfect stretch of that long throat, rolls Steve’s balls in his hand, and delights in the full-body shiver it gets him. “That old asshole didn’t know what hit him.” 

Steve lets out a breathy laugh, rolling his hips to meet Eddie’s touch. 

“Good. Now untie me, so we can celebrate.” 

“Oh?” Eddie smirks, crawling further down and leaving a trail of biting kisses all over the soft skin of Steve’s chest and stomach. “But I am celebrating already.” 

Steve groans. “Eddie, c’mon!” 

“Ah-ah-ah, Stevie. There’s people out there who think I’m gonna ravage you tonight,” Eddie tuts, grabbing the boy’s twitching hips and blowing a warm stream of air on that pretty, flushed cock. Steve fucking mewls. The sound is like the sweetest music. “Be a good boy now. Gotta make it convincing, no?”

Decease Brother Returning Home AU?

(I need a better title for this AU 😓)

Okay...ever since the Epic: The Musical, The ITHACA SAGA has released. It had given me SO much sad and angsty thoughts for my COD OCs. In a different AU.

Hear me out. If you remember in Tiala's bio and even Kanoa's bio about losing their Older brother who went on a mission and had suddenly passed from that. Which it broke the two very much. Mostly to Tiala. As you can see, this older brother is named Hōne and he is like the closest brother that Tiala had ever been with.

These two had always have their fun time together when she was little before he went into the Marines. He usually come and visit from time to time just to see his little sister. But when Tiala JUST turned 16. Waiting excitingly for her brother's return. She had received a very sad news about Hōne's passing from the mission. It had broke her SO much that she doesn't want to celebrate her birthday any more.

So in THAT case. I have put a LOTS of thoughts for this kind of AU. An AU that Hōne has been alive the whole time and had return home after 20 years (yes. I'm following the year reference of what this song had said.). And I want to show you of THIS part of the song that got me eyeballing when I think about it.

From the Ithaca Saga, the song called "I Can't Help But Wonder", this part have given me such...saddened (not in a BAD way) thoughts of how Hōne saw his little sister again.

So, in this part instead of saying "SON" just imagined hi saying "SISTER". So when Hōne had finally returned back home. And the first person that he wanted to see is his sister. And once seeing her standing there. He would be very much surprised to see her so grown up. From a 12 year old (that was when Hōne went on that mission) to a grown adult woman. Imagining the tears coming out of his eyes to see her and how much pain he has for missing out to see that little girl to be a great female soldier.

But it's not convincing for Tiala to believe that he's ACTUALLY is that brother who she thought was dead LONG time ago. But after Hōne had convinced to her that he really is him. Imagined that Hōne said (like in that song), "My sister I am HOME!" Instead of "My son I'm finally HOME!" Just to be clear!

And these two had got into each other's embrace. Tiala crying in tears with joy as she finally had her brother back once more. Hōne also met his other siblings and his parents again.

Such a lovely family reunion! 🥲

And oh! ANOTHER thought for Hōne in this AU! After meeting his family again, he had felt that there is ONE person that he would like to get to know again. Which is Alana. The General was there to meet with the Toa family until she ended up seeing someone who she thought was gone. Her lost soldier. Had found his way back home again.

Which THIS part of this same song:

THIS part had gotten my heart so soft of thinking about Alana talking with Hōne. To be honest, she was in shocked and a bit nervous. For how many years that she's been carrying that guilt ever since she lost him. The same kind of guilt she has with her old comrades. Not being able to get out to assist him.

Hōne can see that pain from his old friend. And he try reassuring her that his disappearance is not her fault. The two had talked it out and hugged each other as the old soldier of hers had lifted her heavy guilt up. And now they're both in good terms before Alana let Hōne go see his family.

MY GOOOOOOOOSH! THIS AU IS GONNA KILL ME WHEN I'M ABOUT TO WRITE IT! 😭😭😭

So yeah, that's what I'm gonna work on later on. And I thank you guys for reading this far. I swear, I can't get enough of angst for my poor OCs! So I'll be posting this sooner or later! Love ya, peles!

Nickname(s): Probably Crumb. 😭

Age: I think 22-25 maybe. She's childhood friends with Quina and Valmiro, and personally I can't see them being any older than 25-ish.

Race: Human.

Gender: I wanna say she identifies as a woman but tbh gender doesn't really matter much to her. Like she doesn't think about it. She'd have no problems if someone referred to her as anything other than a woman or used pronouns other than she/her.

Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic (like me😋). I can't imagine her (or really any of my OCs lol) in a romantic relationship or having sex or anything.

Moral Alignment: I think Neutral Good.

Class: She started as a Fighter and later became a Warrior. She just wants to swing a big sword around.

Background: Literally just the intro in DD1 💀 She's childhood friends with Quina and Valmiro, though her and Quina are practically sisters as Crom was raised by Adaro most of her life after her parents died in a brine-related accident. She doesn't remember them much. She took becoming the Arisen pretty well actually, if you ignore the fact that some of her neighbors died 💀 She was stoked to see a real life dragon until it sunk in (idk how she can see when her eyes are closed 24/7 but y'know... it's a fantasy game, pretend 😭).

Interests/Hobbies: Fishing (ofc, she's Cassardi), she's always liked sword fighting (I can imagine her and Valmiro as kids enthusiastically whacking eachother with wooden swords until they both were all bruised up and Quina had to heal them while lovingly chewing them out), and crafting things. Like whittling or making necklaces and crowns out of flowers that Quina found (to her annoyance, she collected those for a tonic).

Language(s): Common. Is that what it's called in Gransys? Grasian? Granslish?

Height: Probably around 5'10. The tallest in the village. 😭

Colors: Blue, Red, and Brown. Those would be her fave if you pretend that she can see...

Fruits: Idk.. I don't think she can choose either. She probably has a new favorite every other day.

Alchoholic Beverages: I don't think she drinks very often. She's definitely gotten wasted on Cloudwine with Mercedes once or twice though. (Also just a little headcanon, I like to think that Madeleine and Mountebank are friends, considering their shops are so close by, and now I'm imagining the three of them having a night on the town while Affie follows closely behind them to make sure they don't get into too much trouble. Fournival's probably there too but he'll deny it.)

Smokes: Again, not very often, but she has smoked greenwarish with Quina and Valmiro a couple times (you can't convince me they haven't smoke before, have you seen Quina's room? I get that she's a healer but...)

Drugs: I mean, if greenwarish counts.. But no, she doesn't do drugs. She needs to have a clear head for all that sword swinging. 🤣

Driver's (Oxcart) License: Definitely not. She falls asleep on the oxcarts way too fast.

Ever Been Arrested: Besides the Aelinore quest, no. She can be kinda reckless but she's not a troublemaker.

Nicknames: Affie is her nickname 😭 Her name is actually Afaenia but no one calls her that. (Affie and Crom's names are literally in-game monikers. For some reason I'm incapable of not using monikers as my characters actual names in DD.)

Age: About the same as Crom, 22-25. Physically. I guess if she was made by Crom she'd probably only be a couple months old. 👶

Race: Pawn. Lol. Crom has loved fantasy stories since she was a kid and has always wanted to see a real life elf, so she created Affie in the image of one (but now I'm wondering, do fantasy stories exist in fantasy worlds? What could possibly be fantasy to them? Modern day Earth? 😭)

Gender: Pawn. I'm kidding. I think like Crom she probably doesn't care much about gender. She's very fem presenting but if you referred to her in any other way she wouldn't really care.

Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic. I just can't see her in a romantic or sexual way lol. It makes me a bit uncomfortable personally.

Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral? It was hard to pick. She really only answers to Crom. She doesn't think much for herself so you can be sure that she's not going be getting into any trouble (of her own free will lmao.) She is full of complaints though. 😭 I also kinda see her as a big sister figure to Crom despite being younger than her. Always looking out for her and having no problem chewing her out.

Class: She started as a Mage but later became a Sorcerer. Though I can see her switching back and forth depending on Crom's behavior. Like if Crom's been recently injured I can see Affie switching to Mage again to make sure she's ok in fights until she's got her full strength again.

Background: She doesn't really have one... She was made by Crom. If she had a life before Crom, she doesn't remember it.

Interests/Hobbies: I'm not quite sure honestly, but she's probably a throwblast dealer on the side. Something about explosives...

Language(s): Granslish (Common). If she were in DD2 I don't think she'd be able to speak elven. She's a fake. 😔

Height: I think about 5'7-ish. She's a bit shorter than Crom but not too short.

Colors: Purple and Orange.

Fruits: Grapes. I can't really see her enjoying a whole lot of fruits. Maybe? She likes bitter flavors.

Alchoholic Beverages: She has no time for drinks when she has a hard-headed Arisen to take care of.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Okay, so I was reading old posts about little!George and we have established before that Toto LOVES little!George, his office is stashed of things for Georgie when he's regressed.

Now imagine a day after a tiring day with debriefing and sim work, George and Mick go to Toto's office to talk about a new schedule surrounding you. You and Toto are grabbing lunch before going to his office. You're talking about your sweet subs, how Mick has adapted so well, and about signing permissions that you need (and we know Toto would sign off anything you ask for).

George and Mick are waiting patiently for you when Mick asks George for the boxes in the corner of the room. George shows him the things Toto stores for him when he's regressed, and he immediately tells him they can share!! And before even realizing it, they're both regressing while playing with some plushies. Mick is giving "oohs" and "aahs" at every little thing that comes out of the boxes.

The moment Toto and you reach the office, you find two littles giggling the moment you open the door. George starts regressing even more now that you and Toto are in the same room as him, he's just a baby!! You're sweet little baby!!! And Mick is so happy that he is finally in a soft place where he can regress and trust you to have his best interest in mind.

The planned meeting can be postponed to any other day, Toto and you are now busy with the cutest pair in the world.

PLS THE MERCEDES CINEMATIC UNIVERSE 😂😂😭😭 I'm gonna tag all thoughts about Mick joining the Merc team with 'Mercedes cinematic universe' because that's the best name ever oh my god I love it. I love this ask so much.

Firstly, of course Toto has a stash of toys and stuffies and other things for little!George!! Toto pretends to be all tough, but the truth is that nothing melts his heart like a happy little.

So when you tell Toto that Mick is also an age regressor, he's honestly very happy. He'd love to have another little around!! And he knows Georgie would love a friend!!

When you tell Toto that Mick hadn't told his Haas dom about him being an age regressor because he didn't want it ruined, toto's heart broke. Littles should always have caregivers!! And their Doms should always look after them!!

From the moment you tell Toto, he's already planning what he's going to add to his stash in his office for Mick. Does Mick like dinosaurs? Or maybe monster trucks? Or dolls? He's certain Mick would want a dog plushie. He orders two.

Okay anyway, back to George and Mick.

They have to come up with some sort of schedule, and while you offered to come up with the schedule yourself, George and Mick told you that they would. Honestly, they're excited for it! They love making your job easier for you and helping you.

And also, they're really excited to do scenes together? They're both subby good boys, and so they want to workout times where you can scene with both of them (it ends up being Saturday night. Post quali is for your two sweet boys).

Mick and George are waiting for you in toto's office, since they know you're having lunch with Toto. And they're so excited to show you the new schedule!!!

That's when Mick sees the extra storage in the corner of toto's office, it's a few boxes and kist, all covered in sparkly stickers. George is so excited when Mick asks him about it and immediately drags him there to show him all the toys he has in toto's office.

There is, however, a very sad moment where George asks where Mick kept all his toys at the Haas headquarters and Mick has to tell him that he never regressed at the haas HQ and never told his Haas dom either.

It makes George all teary eyes to realise that Mick didnt even have any toys at Haas!!!

He immediately tells Mick that he can play with any of his toys, and that he's sure Toto will buy Mick his own toys too!!! Mick finds himself slipping into little space when George says that, cuddling a plushie that George handed to him.

Poor Mick gets the fright of his life when you and Toto enter, because he's still scared Toto would be upset to see him playing with George in his office. Guenther would have freaked out if he did this in his office.

But Toto just smiles, making a show of informing you that there are two cuties in his office and that you better come in quickly to see.

Georgie, meanwhile, slips even younger, comforted by the presence of two of his caregivers. He giggles and makes grabby hands for you and Toto, wanting you two to come and join them on the floor.

You do, of course, with Toto sitting down next to George and pulling George into his lap. You sit down next to Mick, smiling and asking him what toy he's playing with. You dont want to draw too much attention to the fact that Mick has never been little around this many people before, but you also want to make sure that he's actually comfortable with it.

And surprisingly, he is!! He feels so safe and loved with you and Toto to take care of him, and he loves having a little friend to play with so much!!

The funny thing is that even though George tends to regress much younger and is in general much quieter, he still manages to bring Mick out of his shell?

And yeah, you and Toto dont even consider doing anything other than looking after your two boys. They're both so happy and they deserve all the attention.
