ohhhh so many things to choose from sdfjsfjsdgj but, i think i shall give you a teaser from a young royals wip that i've had for a little while >> i've not written much for it (at all rip) but i still love the idea for it and it's based a little on a story i've read before.

without further ado, here is the first few lines from "set fire to the roses on my grave"

His side hurt. His head hurt. His eyelids felt heavy. And it was quiet. These were the first things that Erik noticed as he woke up. With his eyes pressed painfully shut, he took a careful breath. The last thing he remembered… Fuck, what was the last thing he remembered? His car. The top down. Wind in his hair. Some back road. A sharp turn, the wheels spinning too fast. Brakes. Eyes wide. The edge of the road. Bright lights, pain, tears. Oh. Right. He had crashed.
