If I were to rewrite Graystripe character, like for fun, I would add the problem of nepotism being superrr related to his character development.
#Like could brainstorm so much sht with that in mind#and (as crazy as it sounds) it kinda works in a meta level too#cuz outside of the books we know that he has an obvious bias#the warriors fans know#I know.#so putting that on the table for a rewrite could be a really good way to use those pesky problems#and make an actual compelling way to tell his story#maybe even redeeming him in the eyes of who despise him with all their soul.#Who knows...just an interesting and fun way to go that I thought to share :))#Also because im a sucker of the whitestorm is his dad narrative#the willowwhite family hc specifically#and bluestar involved too you heard of it somewhere#generational problems that if you dont learn or act to do something about it seeing the problem would be condemned to repeat#for gray this character arc could end by him stepping down in the first intance of his appointment#thats the simple way#but you could also drag this along his character painfully#until his SE moment#i like it#what happen afterwards...not so much(the actual books)#but yeah... i think there you could choose if he actually takes a solving part in the nepotism problem in tc#or not#he could have still die and still not solved any of that big problem#but who knows maybe he left a growing seed in someones head#by chance#midnight talks#or well ideas that i like to share#i see potential in this basic pookie ig#if i were to rewrite graystripe i could have fun tbh#graystripe#:P
