the profs at my school are taking a strike vote and considering my personal politics ofc im 100% on their side (also my school is kinda a shithole, im not shocked theyre getting treated like garbage) but also like. fuck. we had the pandemic already, here comes another disruption to your education 🤪 fuck you for thinking this was a good life choice that would guarantee you work

#theyre right to strike. but the students are just getting completely shafted again. which sucks #disappointed but not surprised #levi.txt #for context tuition tripled between me/my brothers years bc a freeze ended and the school is. still an underpaid garbage dump #asbestos is still very much an issue. many areas have no wifi. the compsci building is a 'temporary addon' shed and has been for 30yrs #and somehow the educational quality/prof pay also hasnt improved #theyve let a bunch of profs who were on course by course basis go this year #weve got a low 3 i think on ratemyprof and its only that high bc international students keep rating it super high #but the dean is making hundreds of thousands every year and admin is massive and overpaid............. something smells rotten #so the students whose education has already been fucked over by the pandemic are now gonna again be left to teach ourselves #despite paying the same fucking rates of tuition #🎶nobody cares about us🎶 and were gonna get 🎶so fucked over by the job market🎶#im 🎶never gonna afford a house🎶
